ekitimanalways: "Reversal. A time when it may be wise to go against this law would be if your superior is “weak”. If your “master” is falling out of position and he's falling down the ranks of power. If your superior is a falling star, there's nothing to fear from outshining him. Do not be merciful".
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is not weak politically, so let's cut to the chase. The deputy's lack of permutation in dealing with the governor may cripple him politically... Nigerian governors hardly forgive their deputies who try to outshine them.
You talk of political permutations....I talk of African jazz. They just relax on the oil droppings on the deity killing him, that's why he has little strength to come back from Germany.
Sometimes when you're killing a man, you kill him softly. That useless book you're reading will never factor African meta-physicals into consideration because, the author just don't understand how it works.
Does that man you see looks like he's with us? Can't you see he's expending his last gasps?
All battles are won twice, first in the spiritual realm, then second in the physical. He came back to fight a physical battle when they've already finished him in the spiritual realm.
ekitimanalways: Law 1: Never Outshine The Master: 48 Laws Of Power.
On top of this, there are also, what the author describes as Reversals. They're instances in which following the opposite action of the prescribed law would result in a more favorable outcome.
Always read the reversal of the law too. They are very important. There are times when the master is a falling star. If you can extinguish him at once, just cut off his gas supply. No time to waste.
This master like trouble. They will soon go drop palm oil again for the juju wey dem do am. Small time wey dem no oil the deity and he manage get strength small, he came back from Germany and started fighting again.

Just today in a thread here on nairaland, some useless political sycophants were still bashing Lagos and be comparing it up and down with some states in Nigeria. I cannot recall anywhere in Nigeria where flood water extinguished 2000 people. Even the flood that touched one third of Bayelsa last year no consume 50people, but because we treat everything with politics here, any flood in Lagos is a big subject just because the President comes from Lagos.
You need to go and see what flood is doing them in Hong Kong, USA and even many so called developed countries.
TheOldGods: from buying fuel at kobo to buying at over 600naira
What does this 600naira equivalent to in 1956?
Inflation occurs almost in every sector of the economy. I remember my Dad telling me he bought his first car at 150Naira. Today, you cannot even buy a bottle of coke at 150Naira.
Astar007: Minimum wage is £1,500 per month where I am which is N1,500,000 per month...u can save that 500k in one month...what exactly are you talking about or are you trying to discourage people not to japa
You may not be among the many! When I visited the state and the UK, I dey pity most Japa I met. Infact, I have people that I send money to from Nigeria. A good number of them earn even more than £1,500, yet they are still living from hand to mouth. Shi-shi they no fit save let alone send back home. Different stories for different people.
You see this world na battlefield, once you enter am, just face the war. Even people with good health go die. And often times, they drop dead like chicken.
This is why I don't wholesomely agree with those two qoutes.
Raydos: I've been to 15 states in Nigeria my whole life, and one thing I always notice is, Untarred roads, Lack of drainage system, Lack of proper planning e.t.c
Which always make me curious, Why does everywhere in Nigeria look like it got hit by a nuclear bomb? Why? Why don't we have modern streets and cities!!
Since the inception of Nigeria, I Don't think we have built any city, And please don't even mention Banana island, It's a piece of crap!!
It's sad that only about 3% of Nigeria is actually developed and the other 97% is just straight up piece of trash!!
How many Nigerians can afford what they are craving for?
You must understand that we are a very poor country. Infact, we are very wretchedly poor.
We seems to have this notion that we are a rich country because of the oil and other mineral resources below our feet, but all that has no value if what is in our head is emptiness, corruption, injustices et al.
AcuraZDX: Lagos State governor Sanwo-Olu commissioned the blue line in December, but it couldn’t start operations because a facility to power the tracks wasn’t ready.
The metro will now use a diesel locomotive for some weeks until the power plant is ready to connect to the tracks.
According to John Ashbourne, an African analyst, while quoting a video of the train being pulled, he wrote;
princeemmma: I saw this tweet and i feel this are one of features of Lagos Danfo Driver (i mean exaggerating), am not a Lagosians, i was born in Lagos State and i left Lagos when i was 9years, i don't think they will go to extent of asking someone to help them use there leg to hold break.
To Lagos based, have you ever witness something like this? can this be true?
If you no wan match break or help driver to dey use rag wipe front screen due to fog, no bother sitting in the front sit.
I don match break 3times, help rev engine 2times, wipe foggy glass 2times. Funny thing is, the thing dey sweet me while doing it. As Fela puts it "we are suffering and smiling". It just feel normal doing it those days.
Forget about farmers first. Make we first have organized elections and organized government. Once we achieve those two, everything else will be organized.
EleventhWeirdo: Chai, since the news about Lagos's gigantic metro rail project hit the frontpage, some Sukudis, 0bing0s, and 0bid0gs have been having serious chest pain even while selling their gala near the metro rail project. This impostor from 1m0 had to dig up some unfortunate news as a counter. Anything to mop IP0b tears, anyways
Are we really pushing anything to unite ourselves as citizens? We should not continue to encourage this "divide and rule" politicians are playing on us. Every inch of the country belongs to us all. And constitutionally, we all have right to every coordinates of every part as long as we're Nigerians.
