There should be a time limit to which a winner can keep his seat. Someone should please educate me.
This man must have put others hoping to grab the seat into serious issues, especially those that have started spending on their so called "consultation"
Dreal1247: Can Nigerians also try it with the Nigerian soldiers? Is it applicable to the military checkpoints?
Yes they can. You can take video or pictures of public servants or public infrastructures. Remember it's your tax money that is used to pay or build them. Technically, they are your property as well. As the PPRO said it's just the unprofessional officers that fight against such.
lonelyatdtop: Please let's rub minds, which is more economical, with this harsh economy and weather conditions, one cannot do without bathing with boiling point water, And cost of everything has skyrocketed, a bag of charcoal is above 5k, 1kg of gas is above a thousand naira and kerosene is also nothing to write home about, so please, I'd like to know how you cope with your families this season, which do you use and why?
1. A charcoal 2. Gas 3. Kerosene 4. All or none ? Thanks for your input.
I've been trying to save the planet for the past 20years, so Charcoal and Kerosene is a no-no for me. The consequential cost doesn't make them cheap for me. Gas is far cheaper for me among the three.
HeatSeeker: Please try to adapt to bathing with ordinary water. It will not kill you; in fact it will make your body stronger. I haven't used warm/hot water for bathing in over 10 years. You will not die.
Depending on the health condition. Cold bathing may not be ideal for some people.
The truth is all our politicians need to leave contract signing and all procurements to the experts. Many of them don't have any knowledge in that field.
I'm still pained till date that we have to cede Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon.
Stargangz: Abidjan, Dakar, Nairobi, Dar Es Salaam, Luanda, Lusaka, Harare, Kigali, Accra, Gaborone, Windhoek, Blantyre, Addis Ababa, Port Louis, Francistown, Bulawayo & Kampala all have a better skyline than your overhyped Lagos, Lagos is an advanced slum. I've not even mentioned the major cities in North Africa and South Africa. Lagos can do better.
guobe: A trend nowadays is guys making sure their bride are pregnant before they get married. You won't really blame them as they have seen other couples struggling to have kids to no avail after getting married.
In retrospect, impregnating the bride is not a guarantee.
I know of a guy that impregnated the bride before marriage as she was very heavy. The marriage ceremony was concluded and they both started living as husband and wife but unfortunately the wife lost the baby in her womb.
Four to six years down the line they were still battling to have kids.
The marriage eventually broke up with both couple going their separate ways. In summary no one is smarter than God as God knows best.
Look nothing is guaranteed in life. But it's better to take that cautionary steps if one can.
I also know of a couple that got married after having 5 children. Today they are living happy now. (Life dynamics doesn't mean everything will always end in negative or backfire.)
Just because it doesn't work out for Mr A doesn't mean Mr B should not try it or his case will also be like Mr A.
I don't see anything wrong in that trend as long as it's between two Adults and both consented to it.
I would suggest to the government to put a 1meter clearance barrier at 500m before the bridge. A bell/alarms and visual lighting alerts should come up to indicate that if you hit the barrier, you will hit the bridge.
Actually, all drivers are also suppose to know the vertical heights of the vehicle they are driving.
Whenever you see this kind messages, always take a deep look on the missing person picture because you might just walk past him/her if you don't keep the image in your head.
madridguy: Since December 1st, the innocent girl is yet to be found. So what exactly is the purpose of NIN if by now the Nigeria Police cannot raid the kidnappers hideout and bring back the girl.
They don't use regular numbers to call. They use virtual numbers generated from apps like Skype, Nymgo, Rebtel and foreign networks to call. They don't need NIN to register them.
naaija: Skitmaker Lord Zeus 101 Shows Off Empty Flight from ASABA to Abuja
There’s currently a trend of empty flights shuttling the country’s airport and commuters have started posting clips of how scanty popular airlines have become during local trips. thereby offering kinda private jet experiences like Zeus mentioned
Business wise, Isn’t it wise to put down flight fares to accommodate more passengers as the demand and supply principle will suggest instead of running empty crafts
Below is a screenshot of a Facebook user who shared same experience with another airline on a different date. She claimed they were just 6 people on the massive plane.
According to Zeus, it costs 250k naira to bird to Abuja from Asaba, but I would think lesser fare would definitely improve patronage.

His case doesn't necessarily mean he hate you. It sounds like someone feeling insecure and having inferiority complex. Some people are just like that.
I'm not feeling it at all. It feels less intense watching a match with a female voice commentating especially for my own team where I have strong passion and adrenaline running.
No offence but female voices just don't match for certain sports and definitely not football. Male commentators convey my passion the right way, these female voices sound like child's play.
A woman's voice calms a man. We don't want to calm down when watching football, we want to be gingered.
Imagine a female commentator for boxing or NBA basketball or WWE where raw passion/adrenaline is needed. It will kill that sport. Females can commentate on less intense sports like golf, beach volleyball or swimming.
I really hope they stop this trend because over the years it will make football lose followership. Let's face it, the only thing a football fan brings is passion. If you remove it then the football fan will not bother to spend money watching his struggling team only when they're doing well.
Most fans don't even have a logical reason for spending on football every weekend, we just love the intensity. If I have to continue listening to a soft female voice when a long range shot is scored or a strong tackle flies in, I will feel disgusted.
This should be stopped. Thanks.
Mute the speaker. Hire your own commentator to do the talking beside you while you watch the match.
