obyno82: You are very smart. That was what I thought, the pilot didn't overshoot at all. He made a wrong turn at the taxiway and the nose wheel now deviated from the asphalt in the taxiway to the sandy sides Well, investigation and questioning will shed more light to that. |

LeoDeKing: Na everything una dey investigate?
Is it not very clear?
Which investigation dem want conduct again?
Simply write a report and apply sanctions where necessary, stop wasting time on any investigation. Writing interim report shouldn't stop comprehensive accident/incident investigation. Infact a detailed report can only come from a thorough investigation. That's how it's done. |
Politics › Re: Lagos On Display At The Lord Mayor's Show In London (Picture) by CaptainFM1: 3:55pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
successmatters: Lagos was developed by the whole Nigerians, with Niger Delta oil money. Most of the infrastructure you see in Lagos, the people celebrating lagos today didn't know how it came about.
Lagos and the region it belongs in has its feeding bottle still in the Niger Delta region, see how deceptive they are, they will be celebrating lagos with oil money and if you tell them to form their own country, they will refuse. You wan hunger to finish them?
If you quote me, you will get withlow on your finger I can only laugh! What happened to all the NDDC money sunk into Nigeria Delta? Where is the development? |
Car Talk › Re: Nigerians Don't Know How To Use Headlights. by CaptainFM1: 3:49pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
Cooolme: Greetings everyone, I've been driving for over a year now and I've noticed we don't know how to use headlights in this country even my friend that visited from the US complained same thing. I don't know if it's selfishness or what but how will someone be on very high beam even when opposite an incoming vehicle, I almost entered a ditch because an SUV beamed on my small Corolla to the point I couldn't even see properly, are there rules set for all these in this country? God's willing if I don't leave this country within the next 2 years I'm getting a bigger vehicle and I will purposely install massive led lights I will be counter beaming people till they notice their mistake. See don't blame Nigerians. I thought the same way too when I came back from the UK. But I later realized that in the UK, the roads are already well lit and there are no pot holes. If you drive with normal light or ignition light here in Nigeria, it might be more dangerous in some places some times, especially in places and roads you are not familiar with. |

Absuchat: This one is one of the many that subconsciously resists technically advancement.
So if I need like 5 different translations, I should carry the 5 heavy paper Bibles, whereas a simple app has more than 10 of them?
So now that I want to sleep small and wake up in 2 hrs to read my Bible, I hope I can use the paper Bible as alarm to wake me up?
Can I chat with people reading the same page as me to clearify any misunderstanding? Don't mind him. With all the noise about deforestation and global warming, he wants to continue to cut the woods. |

Politics › Re: Imo 2023: Lamidi Apapa Offshoot Of APC – LP Dep Gov Candidate, Tony Nwulu by CaptainFM1: 7:02am On Nov 11, 2023 |
Ilaje1: Most of you are either olodos or just biased. IREV is just a portal, nothing electronic about it. A portal is like a board. For example, what scores you have on your script (answer sheet) is what will be posted on thr board. If your result is not posted, you go look for you script, most of us faced this in the university. BVAS is the only technology employed. What Nigerians should be clamoring for is who awarded the IREV contract, for how much? Is it worth the price of a portal? You don't need to sling muds before you air your opinions. I perfectly understand what IREV and BVAS are. The umpire itself went round the country to tell us it will display results on the IREV portal for the sake of transparency and they later switched it off in the middle of the process. My question to you is that, Did Supreme court not backed the "switching off IREV" with that statement that IREV is not mandatory? Nobody is arguing about electronic or not here. It's half ingenious by the way you deflect the substance and start lecturing me about IREV, BVAS, transmit and those jargons that means absolutely nothing as far as the umpire is concerned. It is the non transparency of the umpire that we are talking about Sir/Ma. They say one thing now and do another thing tmrw. Mr lecturer, I don't know if you're a spokesman for INEC or the supreme court. Well, if you are, I already know what IREV and BVAS are. It is the "non-mandatory" that throws everything of point. We all know how chaotic and fraudulent our elections and electioneering systems have been. We can choose to keep it that way as a people and as a nation. It's all in our hands. As for me, my stand is no sane Nigerians should still be voting in an election chaired by a non- transparent umpire. If he knows he won't use the portal, he shouldn't be going about locally and internationally telling the world he would. Don't you see a non-transparency in that action? Afterall, IREV is not mandatory. Peace! |

What is funny to me is that our Supreme court says "IREV is not mandatory". So they can still switch it off tomorrow and do magic again like they did on Feb 25.
I don't know why anyone still want to vote again in this country.
I certainly cannot vote in any election conducted by Prof. Madmood again. |

Phones › Re: How Do I Stop Unknown International Numbers From Calling Me by CaptainFM1: 12:10am On Nov 08, 2023 |
Entanglement: let me tell you the plain truth! Your service provider is the culprit especially MTN! MTN develop this tactics (from an insider source) to take money from your call credit in which you answer the call or text or call back.
MTN carried out a research on Nigerians and found out they value international call or something so hence this gorilla tactics. They just want you to dial that number once you wake up, hence your credit will be zap⚡ Don't you notice they call around 2 -3am When you are asleep!
Here's the counter measures to this! Always off your phone before going to sleep for about 1week, with things your phone won't be sending signal to the network receptor hence your number will be flag as inactive user It's happening all over the world. It's a one ring call scam. They are pitching adverts to you using your call credit. A third party might have giving your contact out whilst collecting adverts commission on your head. |
