It is completely unwise to take a loan to buy a car for just private use. While you are repaying that Loan, remember you will be servicing the vehicle from time to time, remember the security and accident risks.
Spending 1k daily on transport out of over 200k salary monthly is not overwhelming. Perhaps the only consideration here is the stress of public transport. But that is not enough to start seeking for loan to buy a private car.

Let me give you one story.
Sometime in October last year, three men on mufti rode on a red venza to my community in imo State and whisked away one of my village brothers from his welding workshop.
In the process of driving away, another of our brothers coincidentally was on bike driving home and saw what happened. This guy beckoned on the bike man to drive faster so he could enquire why our brother was being taken away.
This guy approached the red venza and beckoned on the driver to slow down so they can at least explain why they took the guy and where they were taking him to. The venza driver stopped, came down, collected a gun from his colleague at the back seat and shot this guy point blank to the head and they drove off.
Everybody gathered, thinking they were cultists, kidnappers or criminals. While they were still crying over the boy that was shot dead, same people on red venza drove back to the scene, dispersed everybody and carried the corpse.
Three days later, it appeared on the news that police exchanged fire with IPOB members and in the process, they overpowered them, arrested one and shot one dead in the gunfire exchange. That young, innocent man's picture was taken, with his shirt removed, a red ribbon tied to his waist, a machete and a local Awka made gun dropped on his corpse.
The innocent boy that was carried away was released in December and the dead guy remains in the police custody...

After this incident, I stopped believing whatever fake news the police gives out about exchanging gun fire and people escaping with bullet wounds....
