Abiodun is using the slot for ogun east so if Adebutu cannot triumph at the Supreme Court, it’s bye bye to his ambitions. Ogun west has never produced a governor and ogun west (Yayi) is the reason Abiodun won in 2023. The only threats to Yayi ( if you can call them threats) are isiaka and Adebutu. Adebutu like I said is from east so zoning rules him out and Yayi is the anointed of Tinubu and Abiodun owes him. All the others are different levels of jokes….aka not a chance in hell! |

DEBJOCH1: INVESTING THAT N10M INTO TODAY'S NIGERIA, IS INVESTING INTO DOOMS DAY DESASTER. IMAGINE A WHOLE POULTRY FARM WORTH OVER N40M CLOSING DOWN BECAUSE THEY CAN NO LONGER CATHER FOR THE BIRDS FEED, GO TO FARM SETTLEMENT AREA AND SEE HOW POTENTIAL BUSINESSES ARE ON A DAILY BASE CLOSING DOWN.
EVEN THOSE STILL IN BUSINESS ARE FINDING IT, REAL HARD TO SURVIVE. My parents always told me. “ a lazy workman complains about his tools” People are making money in Nigeria. People are selling things in the markets and streets and maki g money with the small capital they have. You have 10m in capital and want to upend your life to a life of uncertainty and mediocrity abroad? The struggles you will encounter abroad as a non citizen starting out abroad are more than the struggles you will encounter if you are careful and find a business in Nigeria. The upside abroad is limited, the upside in Nigeria is unlimited. It all boils down to your mindset. |

Validated: If you have a good certification, still in your thirties or below 40, or even early forties, you are able to save up to N10m and have a child or two children and not a political actor or a clergy of a big church, may I ask, "What are you still waiting for"?
You see, 7 months ago, your N10m was about $22K. Now, it is only about $8590. However bad, it could still take you to UK, atleast. Then you can begin sorting your life. Even if you have a business, it will be eroded soon. What the likes of GSK, P&G, Unilever, Suntory, etc are saw or are seeing and moving should give you signal that this train is headed to a total anarchy.
Even if you do not love yourself, for the sake of your family, move. There is no hope in the foreseeable horizon. I am not a doomsday prophet, but if you understand the times, you know that things are going to get worse.
10 years ago, I called a friend and advised him to come over to Canada. He said he is not going to another man's country to "slave". He would rather come and visit and enjoy holidays. Funny enough his subordinate took the initiative. His (surbordinate) wife got a scholarship and in two years he relocated and he and his family now lives big in Ontario.
Fastforward to 2023, my friend is now in his early-50s, he has lost his job, his tottering business is now almost moribund. No thanks to Tinubu's economic janglova. Now, he is asking me to help him and his family relocate. 4 adults (Him, his wife and 2 children). How?
My reply may be brutal abd unfair, "Bro, you are 10 years late". He is now franticky looking towards the UK, looking for buyers of his inheritance, but the Tories are locking the gate on Dec 31, 2023. Not sure if he can still make it across.
My advice, if you can leave this sinking ship, please do ASAP. Today, it is armed robbery and kidnapping. In few years, a reminisce of the 1000000 boys will resurface.
Someone is going to come here to preach that it is not rosy out there. Yes, at first it will be rough. With time you will get along, learn the system, culture, then boom, you will just know you made a bold move. Nigeria is not getting better soon. Atleast, not with the huge debts and dwindling revenues that is over 50% channelled to debt servicing. Not with over 45% budget deficits to be financed on loans. Not with low purchasing power of the populace. Not with this "owambe" government. Not when our oil production is already swapped for loans for next 5 years and steeply declining productivity.
No, not with a Tinubu that does not understand productivity. If you have 10m, are you not better off finding a business in Nigeria? |

The problem with many Nigerians like yourself is that you cannot read factual objective assessment of situations without inferring or injecting bias or sentiment. If I say I have no interest in the results of Chelsea v manu game because they are both irrelevant as at today. Does that mean I have any bias one way or another? It is just a statement of fact. If I say Chelsea can’t finish in the top 4 based on the situation on ground does that mean I hate Chelsea? Learn to be able to assess situations objectively. Even Segun Siwunmi of PDP said many times (despite all his noise) that based on his assessment He knew Atiku would not win. Reno said many time he knew PDP would lose once Obi left the party. The situation on ground right now is that Wike will not rest untill he destroys Fubara even if it means he destroys himself. That’s just an objective reading based on his antecedent . Raheeqilmaktoom: I believe Wike's 'famed' political sagacity is just overblown way out of proportion. His politics has always been of violence (run up to 2015 and after) and money, both of which can be matched by Sim, if he wishes to.
Amaechi almost run am street in 2019 when he manufactured a million votes in one night with an unknown party.
Bottomline, if Sim acts smart, he will swat Wike aside.
You cant compare Lagos APC (in the case of Ambode - which Tinubu controls through the GAC) or the presidential primaries (in the case of Osinbajo - where there are way too many inlfuences and variables) to Rivers, the gladiators are few and mostly un-aligned or guided by their own personal interests (the Abes) - plus, the anti-Wike elements, the Amaechi camp.
All eyes are on Sim and what he chooses to do. Violence and money are useless if you don’t know how to deploy them. This is not about gra gra. This is a chess game and who holds the right pieces. Right now Fubara is weak, you do not wage war from a position of weakness. He was I’ll advised and would have been better served to consolidate before taking on Wike. He has not shown he has the political intelligence for the war he has started. For if he had he would have waited or played the fool for a while. In life you need to pick your battles wisely. The worst person to fight is a man who has everything to lose. He will take both of you down than to watch you triumph over him. Fubara is check mated. He can’t do anything without the house. Wike will blow up rivers, himself and Fubara, if need be because the alternative for him is humiliation and irrelevance. It’s overblown yet he conquered Amaechi, It’s overblown yet he conquered Saraki and Tambuwal, it’s overblown yet he conquered PDP and Atiku. It’s overblown yet he dealt with Obi. A man that openly defies a while PDP and yet they are afraid to suspend talk less expel him. Wike does not lose because he fights dirty and he fights to the end. He employs intelligence with brawn aka violence. So far Fubara is all brawn no sense. Understand one thing, this war may finish Wike, but it will exterminate Fubara too, of that be certain. Like I said Wike is the worst kind of enemy to have, the kind who is ready to go down than see you triumph over him. The difference between someone like Tinubu is that Tinubu will let you have your victory and wait for the right moment to nullify you. Wike is not that refined. He wants you out, he is coming for you and will not let go till you are eliminated. Trust me people like Wike are the worst people to fight. I am sure you have seen videos of traffic accidents where someone dents your car. You know the kind of people that will smash your headlamps and windscreen knowing full well you will also smash their car rather than let you dent their car go Scott free? That’s Wike! |

Infact, since Ibadan spans two senatorial districts of Oyo south and central and both zones have dominated the levers of Oyo politics,it is better if power is zoned to oyo north and oke Ogun specifically.

What is total amount from which production cost is removed to remain $25b you are parroting to be lower to foreign remittance? Your explanation and references so far are form of complain, lame excuses about Nigeria oil exploration, production and marketing CONTRACTS which are full of Corrupt practices you are blind of (e.g MALABU OIL SCANDAL). I still and will continue to maintain my stand that mentioning, let alone boasting of foreign remittance as highest source of revenue, at the NEGLIGENCE AND POOR MANAGEMENT OF OIL AND OTHER NATURAL RESOURCES, is a shame and failure you are defending with STORIES above. If not a failure, why not other oil producing countries not depending or boasting of foreign remittance over their oil revenue? I wonder why, with your so called knowledge about Nigeria oil, not talking about functioning refinery as monumental failure of Nigeria in oil business, as one of the reasons for poor oil receipt to the national treasury. Like I said stick to the topic which was the importance of diaspora remittance. If you had not gone off topic you won’t have made a f o o l of yourself for the world to se time and time again. Your 'abusitivity' gene polluted oxygen in blood being carried to comprehension part of your medulla oblongata on the matter at stake that dependency on your home resources is better than being at mercy of foreign remittance. Because of you and Nigeria government that are boasting of money we are sending home, the reason I can deduce from your argument, make you very, very lazy about economical development of the country , l will soon call a meeting that diaspora people should stop sending money to lazy Nigeria. Your calculation shows your naivety and ignorance. First of all you think the oil companies drilling the oil are doing it for free? Do you know what a JV or PSC is? The agbami oil field from which oil is heading to Dangote refinery, only 40% of the oil/revenue belongs to Nigeria, the other 60% is shared between Fanfa, chevron and others. There are different JV agreements, some are 40/60, 50/50, 60/40. That is why I used 60/40 in favour of Nigeria…because that is the best possible scenario you will see. I have assumed the most favorable conditions for Nigeria. At zero cost of production (a fantasy), 2m bpd and 60/40 JV split in Nigerias favour, you will get $35b. What that means is that is the most Nigeria can ever get from its oil. When the JV partners sell their share of the oil their money stays abroad. So the only forex from oil that comes back to Nigeria is that which belongs to Nigeria I.e 60% maximum. See pictures below. Secondly there is a cost to bringing the oil out of the ground. It is only after production costs that you share profit …in Nigeria it is about $20/barrel! When you sell coke for 250 a bottle, the entire n250 is not profit. If you factor in cost of production. Therefore in a realistic scenario, the most we will make at $80/b and 2m bpd is $25b Nothing shows ignorance more than claims all the oil produced by Nigeria belongs to Nigeria or to think there are no production costs. In many of the new offshore developments, Nigeria’s share is as low as 40% and in form of royalties because the companies take all the exploration and production risk. That is why you will see some that show 100% ownership by the oil company e.g all the offshore folawiyo. Agbami oil, etc. http://www.oilmapng.com/blocks_page.phpAll this is besides the point anyway. The point is diaspora remittance is our biggest source of forex. Stop straying off topic else you continue to exhibit your ignorance for the world to see.
