Obidients we’re claiming their lawyer had never lost a case! Lol |
KLEINBASS:It’s the Same people doing the same thing they do in Nigeria. |
Fkmodhi:You won’t hear from them. When they lose an election or in court they will say judiciary and INEC are corrupt. |

PHIPEX:Peter Obi is a fraud. He left money in the bank to look as if there was money but issued post dated Cheques to contractors dated after he left office. Obiano confirmed this. Even if he left money, what was the benefit in leaving money for the next man to steal if he could have used the money to build schools or roads. If he had utilized the money, there would be no money to steal. Thirdly it is stupid to save money in an inflationary environment. If he had 70b and had used that money to build roads or schools, then, even if that money still exists today it cannot do a fraction of what it could have done when he was in power. A road that would cost 70b when he left office in 2014 will cost 400b today. I am sure even if the 70b existed and was not stolen it would not have compounded into even 100b today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZr7AWrTX6U?si=CQU8WDDK53y9srC9 |

Kingrshd3:Is opay not a Nigerian fintech? If it is then it falls under CBN and it’s policies. |
MrSundry:This is why I don’t keep a Nigerian forex account. All my forex is in my foreign account. It is the unreasonablenesses ness of some of our policies. How can you backdate the charge? What of those with zero balances or those who have closed their accounts? |
He was silent on Tunji-Ojo, whereas we know normally he would comment. Anybody want to guess why? Because Peter the saint personally directed the investment of state funds in a bank he is a major shareholder and invested state funds in a business his family has interests. Bloody hypocrite. |
EreluRoz:Have you not heard that what a man can do a woman can edu betta? But on a serious note, it is the civil servants that teach the political appointees how to steal. They are so good at it that they cover themselves in case of any backlash. |
infofta:The questions you should ask are 1) for how long does a previous visa rejection matter. 2) if your circumstances change does a previous rejection matter. I believe any visa rejection will always be on your file but it may not be considered after a certain time period. |
SmartyPants:Mr smarty pants did you read the edit? |
Wait till Obi leaves Lp then you will know the real harlotry. As some point he will realize he can’t win an election under LP…..so he will g9 back home to PDP. |
Samakus:Well done! The rest of us take satisfaction in knowing Obi can never win a presidential election in Nigeria. |
Bobloco:Peter Obi that actually invested state money in a companies (not one but at least 2) in which he is a shareholder, you did not ask him to submit himself to EFCC? |
sukkot:do the poor feel guilty for being poor? |
SmartyPants:I do t think you understand what I wrote. I recall my first job after my master’s where (to the best of my recollection) all I had was the appointment letter. It was a small consultancy with many multinational clients. I am almost certain I did not write an acceptance letter as I remember I had the interview on a Friday and started on the Monday. EDIT: Now that I think about it, there was indeed an employment contract( as I remember there was an issue over payment in lieu of statutory leave when the company went bust) but I am certain I did not write a formal acceptance. So I guess if there was an employment contract, then I must have signed it….which is in effect formal acceptance. |
SmartyPants:It depends, it is not always the case. If I recall correctly as this was a while ago, I had jobs in the uk where all there was was the letter of appointment, no contract, no acceptance letter no nothing. I have also had jobs where it was in the form of a fixed term contract where a contract was prepared and signed. I also had jobs with offer letter, acceptance and employment contract. I also had jobs in my student days where there was no contract and no appointment letter but those were not serious jobs..I.e sales staff etc |
Juraj:Why don’t you ask the company for a letter to the embassy confirming you are an employee stating how long you have been there as well as payslips. |
Judolisco:Don’t worry yourself, just pray he continues with this path of desperation to be in the news everyday. The more he does, the more difficult it is for him to accept a VP slot as he will feel he is now too big to be a VP. So long as he is a presidential candidate, he can never smell Aso Rock.. Secondly, there was not enough time for people to examine the substance in the man before the elections, if he continues this headline grabbing desperation for the next 4 years, people will realize he is just an empty vessel. The more he seeks to grab the headlines, the more people will realize they dodged a bullet. |
Samakus:what else is it? last last all of you who thought LP and Obi was anything other than the same old wine in new bottle will find yourselves voting for PDP or APC in 2027 and we shall see how you will attempt to explain your hypocrisy (as well as that of Obi) away.. i am particularly waiting for that nuiscance Datti, who rigged election under PDP and was kicked out to explain what he is doing back in PDP. |
sheeda995:Because you are probably so far gone the rabbit hole of mental enslavement you probably do not understand your own language. |
sheeda995:You are a woman of inferior mentality if you feel a need to be what you are not to “blend” in. You have an inferiority complex if you let others define you. Even worse you are sub human if you are not proud of who and what you are. You never see a foreigner come to Nigeria and speak with a Nigerian accent to blend in, it is o lay black people that go abroad especially Nigerians and start to develop fake accents to “blend in”. Yemeni Dey smell. You and your sort are an embarrassment to the black race. |
Freshtruth:Jesus wept! |
OGterry:Your problem is ignorance. Best performance means nothing when talking about the value of a company. If a street seller uses his N10,000 to buy pure water and makes 50% profit, he is still worth only N15,000. The man who manufactured the pure water and sells N10.5b worth of pure water to distributors around the country with N10b in costs has a lower performance because his profit margin was 5% but who is wealthier? If you are rating both based on performance you will say the street seller performed better than the manufacturer but one is worth only N15,000 while the other is worth N10.5b. So when you ignorantly talk of “performance” what exactly are you talking about and what does it mean especially in relation to the subject matter, I.e the wealth of an individual? If you make 100% profit and you are the top performer it does not mean you are rich, if your shares are the best performing stock on the index and your company is a small company, it does not mean you are rich, what matters is the value of your stake in the company. Please go and check the market cap of Ikeja hotels plc. They are only worth N24b or less than $20m. Dangote is not on the list of top 10 performers but Dangote’s profit in a year is probably more than the value of all those companies combined. In case you don’t understand what that means, Dangote can buy all those companies with the profit it makes in just 1 year. If you do not understand things do not comment. Performance of a company has nothing to do with its value. You clearly do not understand what stock market performance of a company means. You clearly don’t own any shares. The problem with ignoramuses like you is you comment on things you have no knowledge of and make foooools of yourselves for the world to see. If you knew what you were talking about, I.e wealth, you would not have brought up the performance of a relatively small company as evidence of wealth. 1. It is a small company, 2) performance is no indication of wealth. We are talking about dollar billionaires and evidence of such and in your ignorance and shamelessness you had the gall to disturb my peace to mention a company that is only worth $20m and of which the Ibru’s own less than 50%? We’re you dropped as a child? A billionaire will get more than twice the value of Ikeja hotels plc in a year just by putting his money in US government bonds (currently 4%) and going to sleep. Having said that, the Ibru’s own less than 50% of the company ( so their stake and wealth tied up in the company is less than $10m) and the company is a serial loss maker. See below. Do not drag me into this discussion anymore, I am tired of forced engagements with ignoramuses. I warned you cohorts to find better things to do than occupying your time with the perceived wealth of others and spend time trying to get your own. PS: feel free to use google to find out the meaning of market cap and don’t bother thanking me for educating you, that’s my contribution to charity and the less privileged and the mentally deficient and unfortunate of society. Finally, I keep telling you, if the Ibru’s who have been in business for over 60 years were billionaires, they would be on the Forbes list. There are ways to value the wealth of those whose businesses are private especially a business that has operated for over 60 yrs. Alakija and Adenuga’s businesses are private….but m0r0ns like you think you have more knowledge from beer parkour heists that Forbes. You think billion dollars is beans? Or is it that you are confusing dollar billionaire with Naira billionaire? People like you are why the government is introducing school feeding programmes so that the citizens can get nutrients as children to develop their brains as youths when the brain is still able to develop so they don’t come on Nairaland as adults typing nonsense.

Since this man came to office, when we read about EFCC in the news, it is about high profile corruption, unlike the past when they will parade low level yahoo boys to make us feel they are working. |
olowoba2:With due respect, I lived abroad for over 20 yrs. I never adjusted my accent. Take England for example, even the British find is difficult to understand each other. The Scottish accent, the scouse accent, the Brummie accent, the Irish accent and the cockney accents are sometimes difficult to understand even to the natives. We all have different accents, embrace it. The white man does not expect a man from Liverpool to speak with anything other than a scouse accent and the man from Liverpool will not adjust his accent to fit it…..so why do Nigerians feel a need to adjust their accents if not an inferiority complex and a lack of self esteem and self worth. Speak with your Nigerian accent with full chest, trust me the Oyinbo man will respect you more. Again I ask when you hear NOI speak in international events, does she change her accent? |
Everybody with a bad business plan is blaming the government for their failure. You know manufacturers in Nigeria have been folding up since the 80s, did you investigate the reasons? You know Naira has been depreciating since the 80s, did you ensure your business plan is Naira depreciation proof? You are manufacturing in Nigeria and you know from more than 40 yrs empirical data and the lessons of others that your 2 biggest threat factors as a manufacturer in Nigeria are foreign raw material and forex, as well as power, generators and cost of diesel, how much of that did you factor into your business plan? |
linearity:If you had my pedigree you wouldn’t type the cr*p you just typed. Like Insaid fake people don’t realize how they expose themselves because they are trying to project a false image that in reality they have no experience of. Secondly nobody who has what it takes to make it to the highest level speaks in a fake or borrowed accent. You either have it or you don’t. What you have displayed here is the mentality of a man who buys fake gucci in jankara market and who has been accepted by his low level peers and thinks he can now start mingling with people who buy genuine gucci and they don’t know the difference or cannot spot his fake clothes from a mile off. People who operate at a high level do not need to fake anything. Like I said earlier there are no better examples than NOI and Zack of FIRS. ….and they didn’t get there by faking |
epainos:like i said earlier, the irony of having an inferiority complex is that thiose who have one dont know they have one and dont know how obvious it is to others. confidence, false confidence, as well and inferiority complex project farther than you think. You only fool people of inferior minds. You have no idea how many times serious minded people stop listening to someone once they speak in a fake accent and how they are prepared to listen to someone with bad phonetics but obvious intelligence. Good examples Zack of FIRS is not the most eloquent but you know this man is intelligent and you want to listen to what he says. contrast that with Joy Okpe of Arise news, once she starts to talk i switch the channel. All she projects in pretentiousness, she is an empty head who talks absolute nonsense, I would rather listen to Abati with his thick Nigerian accent because he often makes sense. |
linearity:My friend you are talking to someone who lived abroad for over 2 decades and had high profile jobs without having to change my name to charles or victor or develop a fake accent like many low self esteem Nigerians do. Again I repeat, if you have something to offer you will be embraced. the problem with many Nigerians is they dont have anything to offer. The only job abroad where your accent can be an issue is a call center job. And quite frankly if you leave Nigeria to be a call center rep, you clearly have nothing to offer!! its one of the lowest paying no skill jobs in any society. if you are an engineer and your calculations are correct no one cares about your accent. if you are an architect and your drawings are beautiful no one cares about your accent if you are a lawyer and your legal arguments are sound , no one cares about your accent if you are a programmer and your programm works, no one cares about your accent if you are an artist and you produce beautiful paintings, no one cares about your accent i can go on and on the people who worry about accent are those with low skills with an inferiority complex. NOI is DG WTO, everywhere she goes she dresses in Ankara and gele and speaks in a uniquely Nigerian accent!!!! what you people dont know is that people can smell your fake accent and can immediately smell your inferiority complex. |
