"INEC has produced a system where you cannot rig"

How exactly have they done that especially in recent times?
By being selective and subjective with their rules and methods?
I know You are too daft to understand this simple concept but you cannot rig an election in Nigeria anymore without leaving definitive evidence of rigging. The PDP Obasanjo says we’re you can rig anyhow are gone!!!!! The days when states like Borno, Akwa Ibom, Rivers even Bayelsa will declare 2m votes are gone!!! If you like write result sheets, BVAS will expose you. If you alter result sheets, copies of EC8 forms which all other party agents and police have will expose you because they must match. If you thumb print ballot papers, forensic examination will expose you as was the case with a particular case (I can’t remember the particular case). You can’t rig in Nigeria and get away with it, you will leave a train of evidence. I am not saying you can’t rig, I am saying you will leave evidence. It doesn’t take much to show evidence of rigging. There is a reason Atiku and Obi did not make any attempt to show evidence of rigging in their cases in court and focused more on disqualification……because even before the results were announced they knew they lost. They know the results of elections even before INEC because they all have PU agents and situation rooms and are doing their own collations in real time.

Your mother should have insisted your father used a condom. Nigeria has too many daft people as it is.

When even the ppl that are supposed to fight this corrupt leaders are supporting them . So in your warped mind it is now ok to rig elections n tell your opponents to go to court cos you know they do not have evidence of the rigging?Apc has really destroyed this country…
2027 will definitely be brutal..
Either you are naturally daft, your parents were naturally daft and you inherited their genes, you were improperly educated or you were dropped as a child resulting in brain damage. Where did I say it is ok to rig? I said if you truly have evidence, you should go to court. I also said there are those like Obi who know they lost but go to court for ulterior motives. Where in any of that did I say I co done rigging? 1diot!!’

Discrediting INEC aand the judiciary is exactly what these losers want to acheive. Those with brains know that INEC has produced a system where you cannot rig without leaving evidence of rigging. If less than 30,000 people were accredited but results showed 133,000 as he claimed there will be evidence. All you have to do is tender BVAS, tender EC8 forms….do they match…..end of story!!!

Okoroawusa:
Oga if you have evidence I will advise you go to court. Many have gone to court and they won. Saying that because INEC will be a witness at the tribunal therefore you won't go is either naivety or deceit.
He has no evidence and he is just lying. If his claims were true he would go to court. The difference between him and Ododo is less than 200k. If indeed 100,000 votes were not captured by BVAS and therefore invalid, it is enough to challenge the entire results in court. He won’t because he is either lying or his own numbers are dodgy (I.e he also rigged) and does not want to expose himself in court.

At least he is more intelligent than Obi.

People need to understand why Politicians even when they know they lost go to court. It is so their supporters continue to believe in them. By saying they were rigged, by saying the judiciary is currupt, they keep the hope alive in their mostly gullible supporters. Thu dow a seed in their supporters that they were cheated but will win next time. If you acccept defeat, then in the next election your supporters will say to themselves this one has no chance and will either support someone else or not bother to turn up because they believe you can’t win. They have to keep the hope alive and maintain the myth of their popularity by claiming they were rigged.

Also do not forget legal costs are part of election funds, very often it is not their money they are spending on legal costs.

Greetings everyone, I've been driving for over a year now and I've noticed we don't know how to use headlights in this country even my friend that visited from the US complained same thing.
I don't know if it's selfishness or what but how will someone be on very high beam even when opposite an incoming vehicle, I almost entered a ditch because an SUV beamed on my small Corolla to the point I couldn't even see properly, are there rules set for all these in this country?
God's willing if I don't leave this country within the next 2 years I'm getting a bigger vehicle and I will purposely install massive led lights I will be counter beaming people till they notice their mistake.
Forget headlights, Nigerians do not know how to drive period. They hug the fast lane, they have no lane discipline, they don’t know how to use roundabouts you will see learner drivers and their students in the left lane, so they are taught to be lawless.

As for headlights, if you want to be stopped by the police in the UK just put on your full beam.

Having said that, Most Nigerian low beams can’t see anything at night because their headlamps have been oxidized and have turned yellow and opaque and majority of Nigerians do not know it can be fixed to look and work like new

You mumu. You are an idiot. Uzodima don finish 4 years, Oyetola finished 4 years, Peter Mbah is on journey to 4 years of his first tenure, same with Dapo Abiodun, Ubah Sanni and the Oga at top yet, if you keep saying successfully. Is there any other definition of successful I don't know?

Is it all the electoral fraud committed are taken to court? Again, how many of these cases have been won in court? The judiciary is full of dubious judges. INEC is also full of corruption.
This is the point I am trying to make. It is better you don't allow them rig you out.

If you are smart enough, you should know from INEC lawyers who are always defending whoever they declared as winner in court. Have you INEC support any petitioner in any election petitions. You won't know because your brain is seriously contradicting your reasoning intellect.

I won't respond to your post after this because your are making use insulting statements which I am not fond of but the insult you directed to my personality pushed me.

You are short of ability to engage in a constructive argument. Pls avoid me.
You can’t respond because you have no facts. I asked you in the beginning to show even if theoretically how you can rig successfully. I am taking about 2023 INEC, All the examples you gave above are either the past systems (2019) or incompetence by the legal team e.g Dapo Abiodun or just emotional noise.

We are talking about INEC here. INEC’s system is flawless. If you were rigged, the system INEC has built will provide the evidence. If your legal team is incompetent that is not INEC’s fault. Using Ogun there was evidence that the cancelled votes in Ogun was more than the margin of victory and they were in Adebutu strong zones. All his lawyers had to do was tender the evidence which was there for all to see. Instead he started getting emotional (like you) and lost a clear cut case….that’s not INEC’s fault. It is the fault of people like you who become emotional and fail to engage their brains. You don’t go to court and say “purported”. On that simple failure to uderstand English and using beer parkour emotional gutter language instead of proper legal language, the case was lost, not because the case could not be proven.

As far as INEC is concerned the system in place is flawless. Whether your lawyers are competent is a different story. Again that is not INEC’s fault. They have given all contestants the tools to prove their case if they have one.

The only flaw In the current system is “over voting”. Where you can compromise a result in your opponents stronghold if you can cancel
results due to overvoting. The problem is it is difficult for someone who is not popular in a PU to do that kind of thing in a PU where your opponent is strong. Possible theoretically, difficult but not impossible and you will have to engineer that is many PUs to be effective.

God! I don't know that I am talking to a lunatic oooo!

You must be sooooo fooooolish to have said this. Are you an outsider?

You are talking as if things are working the way it should be in Nigeria.

Visit Narasawa state Guber election petition for better understanding. If Uzodima's case is far, the recently concluded election should still be in your memory. There you will see where result was written for Gov. Sule and he was declared the winner.

Again, at early hours of today, the returning officer for Imo state clearly stated that his duty is to announce the result and not to listen to people's complaint or to check the BVAS. He said he is not a lawyer or INEC.

Now let's discuss the matter.

If you have been to the ward collation centre before, you would have known that the collation officers don't look at the election materials such as BVAS, voters register, ballots paper and the likes rather, they listen to the presiding officers while the P.O call the results for them and then enter them into the result sheets.

The collation officers then tally the results and add everything together before it will be taken to the local government for L.G collation after which it will then be taken to the state collation centre.

Whatever that is written will be pronounced. If the party agents are overpowered/compromised what will happen? I have seen many cases like that where the agent will refuse to sign and the results will be accepted. The cheated candidate will have no option than to go to court. They have done it for two of my brothers before. Again, I have been monitoring election in Nigeria for good 20 years now. I am speaking from experience.

Oga, if you have not taken part in electioneering before, it's better you keep your brain within the confines of your ignorance.
Like I said your epistle just shows you are brain dead. Again I said show that you have some brain cells and that your education was not wasted. What did you say about Govt Sule and court? …..and what did I say? Let me remind you.

casualobserver:
You clearly have been believing the hype from Obi and Atiku. It is impossible to rig elections in Nigeria successfully.
…….,

2. The result sheets are signed by all party agents and copies given to all party agents and the police. So even if a corrupt INEC agent modifies the result sheet, it has to tally with the copies with the other agents and the police.
……
It is hard to rig but if you do, the system has proof that your opponent can use in court.
In all my posts I kept mentioning “rig successfully”. It means you can rig but you won’t be successful.
The problem with many Nigerians is that we speak English but do not understand english. That is why many of you failed to u derstand that IREV is merely an information portal not a collation mechanism.

Unfortunately when dealing with Nigerians one is inevitably dealing with uneducated literates.

What I said is you cannot successfully rig, unfortunately, 1diots like you abound so they will still attempt to rig and disrupt elections without engaging their brains and considering if they can truly get away with it but the INEC system is airtight and they will ultimately lose in court. You cannot rig without leaving a trail of evidence of your rigging. It is impossible!

You still dey learn. If you are still saying this after you saw some pre-written results yesterday then, you are far from understanding our electoral system.
What you have just shown is that you are brain dead. Were those sheets signed? Do the party agents not have to sign the result sheets? Is it real?

For the circulated result sheet to be successfully used, there must be a corresponding number of real people who turned up to vote and were accredited by BVAS. For that sheet to be collated it must have been signed by party agents and each will have his own copy.

A so called result sheet that isn’t signed is useless plus it must match the number of real voters accredited by BVAS. Recognize fact from fiction.

I know the education system is bad but let’s start acting like people with brains for God’s sake!

You clearly have been believing the hype from Obi and Atiku. It is impossible to rig elections in Nigeria successfully. Unfortunately the noise and propaganda from Obidients has shadowed the accomplishments of INEC.

Don’t believe the hype, we now have one of the most water tight electoral systems In the world.

1. BVAS has ensured you cannot have multiple registrations, vote without BVAS verification or multiple times.
2. The result sheets are signed by all party agents and copies given to all party agents and the police. So even if a corrupt INEC agent modifies the result sheet, it has to tally with the copies with the other agents and the police.

It is hard to rig but if you do, the system has proof that your opponent can use in court. What some may do is to prevent elections from holding is some polling units but even that is futile because 1) the maximum number of registered voters in a PU is 750, so you have to disrupt elections in a lot of PUs to affect the outcome. 2) you cannot disrupt all PUs and if the result is so tight that the number of registered voters in those PUs are more than the margin of victory, there will be another election in those PU under tighter security and focus.

If Nigerians only stopped being so emotional and used their heads they would realize we now have one of the most credible electoral systems in the world. It takes crooks to plug the loopholes. I have voted in the UK, their system as at the time I was there was filled with loopholes because it was based on trust. You could just create any fictional name on the electoral roll and turn up to vote, no checking no ID no nothing. Our system is based on verification. You can’t register twice and you can’t succesfuly rig. It is impossible!!!

It is a shame that our system has been maligned to the world by a bunch of noisy sore losers.

Don’t listen to those who lost elections and try to blackmail the judiciary and discredit INEC. They went to court to try and disqualify and not to prove rigging. Ever wondered why?
