Comedians |
all die na die. something must kill a man na una dey worry yourselves. Na person wey dey alive dey mourn dey talk story dey analyze person wey don die. Person wey don die don die, no get problem. There are many people who are alive but dead. |
They didn’t beat this man well enough. Person wey police beat properly no fit talk for days as he go still dey hospital. Useless man! I do “n’t even know what is happening to our police these days that they can’t beat mor0ns properly again. Can you imagine that police beat you and you can still talk within 24 hrs? |
KenOne:You have answered your own question. They’ve been out of power for 8 years. They have only 3 sources of funding. Atiku, Rivers and Delta. Atiku only spends for himself every 4 years. Leaving Rivers and Delta. That can’t afford to lose Rivers. Like it or not Wike controls Rivers. |
CaptainAyub:Stop talking like ignoramuses simply because you have data. Bakassi has nothing to do with Nigerian Army. Bakassi was handed to Cameroun by the United Nations. It belongs to Cameroun under International law. Except you want to engage in a war with the UN, Bakassi is gone! |
gidgiddy:It’s a waste of time arguing with you people. The World knows how you operate. Your adventure in Obidiency is there for the world to see. Your embark on selfish actions with the mission to control and doninate others without thinking strategically and thinking g others. Are fools and when it back fire you start to peddles false narratives and propaganda in the hope that the more you say it the more in becomes truth. But the rest of us have seen through you. The history of Nigeria is filled with your misadventures. 1. Refusing to allow right ofsecession in the constitution when all other regions wanted it (hoping to dominate others) 2. Aligning with the less educated North thinking you would control the alliance but when they proved they were politically superior and you couldn’t dominate them, you staged a coup and killed their leaders. 3. Ill thought out civil war which was all about control of the oil in the SS 4. What you did to the minorities of the SS during the civil war 5. Claiming you seceded from Nigeria but heading to Ibadan and Lagos during the war. 6. Claiming Lagos is no man’s land 7. The Obidient project while at the same time supporting Kanu Etc etc etc. Nigerians are in no doubt of your true motives. You believe Nigeria is the land given to you to dominate. We are wise to you now. I never said any thing about resource control, you did. If I give you a car but I retain the key and appoint the designated driver, it is only your car because the documents say so. In reality I control when you can use the car and what you can do with it. Regional government where thee authority lies at the center is not regional government. You can talk and try to rewrite history from now till kingdom come but for your sins of derailing our country you will never see sit on that Aso rock. Feel free to continue to rewrite history to fool yourself. We are watching you in amusement. The Ibo go forth and conquer and dominate ideological agenda of Daddy Onyeama outlined at the world Ibo summit and disguised under Zikism has failed! You want money no problem but the power you crave to dominate will continue to elude you. Unfortunately the few sensible amongst you are held back by the mentality of the majority. |
gidgiddy:The question you should ask yourself is where did I say he abolished resource control? That said resource control that is under the authority of the center is not resource control. I said he abolished regionalism because the practical effect of the law (it was called the unification decree for a reason) was to abolish regionalism in all but name. When your independent regional civil service is abolished and the you abolish the authority of the regional governments. You have abolished regionalism. That you still retain the regional governments in name is just semantics. They have no authority, they are no longer independent, the center determines what you do. He and his cohorts created this mess in the grand sinister plan to dominate the country. They thought they would rule forever and it backfired. That’s why no one trusts you people with the presidency. You Al have shown your true collies and your true agenda. |
gidgiddy:You people are good at twisting history. As from the appointed day— the Federal Military Government and the Federal Executive Council shall be known respectively as the National Military Government and The Executive Council; the Federal territory shall be known as the Capital territory; the provinces, including Kaduna capital territory, in schedule 1 of this Decree which immediately before the appointed day were respectively comprised in Northern Nigeria, Eastern Nigeria, Western Nigeria and Mid-Western Nigeria shall be known respectively as the Northern group of Provinces, the Eastern group of Provinces, the Western group of Provinces and the Mid-Western group of Provinces; for the purpose of administration each group of provinces shall subject to the authority of the Head of the National Military Government, be under the general direction and control of a Military Governor appointed by the Head of the National Military Government; 3. 1. As from the appointed day all offices in the service of the Republic in a civil capacity shall be offices in a single service to be known as the National Public Service; and accordingly all persons who immediately before that day are members of the public service of the Federation or of the public service of a Region shall on that day become members of the National Public Service: 5.1. Power to appoint persons to hold or act in the office of permanent secretary to any department of government of the Republic or any other office of equivalent rank in the National Public Service, and to remove persons so appointed from any such office shall, as from the appointed day, vest in the Supreme Military Council. 2. Before appointing any person by virtue of this section, the Supreme Military Council shall consult the National Public Service Commission. The minute you are under the authority of the center and all your civil servants report to the center you are no longer an independent regional government. Like I said earlier, it’s like telling your children in future that because the law says local governments are independent so governors did not control and dictate local government chairmen and control the funds in Nigeria between 1999 and 2023. Let’s not go into why this was done, I don’t have energy today. Let’s just say he created the mess that has plagued us for over 60 yrs and the motive we all know was not altruistic. Unfortunately it backfired on not just him and his people but everyone else. The irony that he then became sec gen of aohaneze, fighting for freedom from the enslavement he birthed. That is where it started |
gidgiddy:you are clearly very naive. Ask those who were around and are more knowledgeable. Gowon merely took it further and created states in a bid to check mate Ojukwu. Ojukwu then hurredly declared seccesion before the new states could come into being knowing full well that once the governors of the new states took office he is powerless. It's like your children in the future saying there was local government autonomy in 2023 because of what is in the law, you and i know there is no such thing. |
Menclothing:Imagine that is was a PDP governor that made the announcement. Where is Atiku? Tomorrow 5ey will say he is a unifier. |
cococandy:You are the ones with the problems…women like you. A woman was not made to be the head of a household period. It is not misogynistic it is a fact. It does not mean oppression of women or sanctioning such. A man has a role as the leader and head of a household. When I say that that does not mean his wife is his slave or gives him any right to abuse or maltreat his wife. Don’t twist things from your narrow mindset. A man should not emasculate himself and handover his role to his wife. Your wife can help you and in fact should help but she should not be in a position where she is the one who becomes the head of a household. It is only natural that you lose your value as man to her over time. The irony is that it is women like you who say there is nothing wrong that are the first to emasculate, insult and demean their husbands for not doing what other husbands do. A man is supposed to lead with his wife by his side, not a wife leading with her husband behind her. You do not ask a lawyer to design a house for you instead of an architect and then be surprised that the house is not fit for use. Man has his unique role, so also does a wife. When a husband is performing the role of a wife and vice versa problems will ensue. A man is not supposed to spend his time in the kitchen and the market, likewise it is not the wife you send to protect the family when for example your house is being burgled. That role reversals can sometimes occur especially in moments does not mean you should think it is ok….it is not. I am simply saying beware of where a well intentioned solution can lead. |
tiswell:He is not a politician he is a technocrat. |
N3TRAL:When their party leader is busy chasing shadows granting world press conference. If refuse to be a leader someone else will fill the vacuum. |
Jagaban Borgu! |
Onewazobia:Google it. Decree 34. Not only did he draft decree 34…the most controversial decree in Nigerias history, He also drafted the decree that gave rise to the ING after June 12 was annulled . https://www.dawodu.com/decree34.htm https://openlife.ng/how-professor-ben-nwabueze-truncated-nigerias-federalism/ https://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2022/09/06/why-ben-nwabueze-should-apologise-to-nigerians/ |
Mindlog:Those of us who have lived in the UK should Stop selling these people fantasies. It may work it may not work but prepare his mind for what could come. There is more to life than just making money. The emotional toll separation can take on a family is real!!!! Furthermore and you know this. His wife is now his boss. It may not sound nice to put it that way but that is the reality. He will be at the beck and call if his wife. |
Mindlog:You are being extreme. You don’t know a woman until she has power over you. Uk is tough place especially for a new settler. It is a regimented environment and you are constantly stressed by bills. You are forever in the work/ bill trap. You dread opening your mail because it’s one bill or another. It is a particularly tough place in the cold winter months between October and March. The cold dark isolation in those months especially will test the resolve of any single woman. It is not the environment where you as a man want to be dependent on your wife. She will start to resent you. Fights will start. She will start alto see normal behaviour as you messing up because the real problem is while the job sounds good on paper, in the cold light of day the pay for a paramedic is not enough. Where. Is your wife going to stay, where are you going to stay when you get there…room or flat? Rent/ council tax will take half her income, transport/ food and bills will take the rest. She will eventually get frustrated that despite all her work she has no savings left and you are not contributing. So if you make the mistake of not greeting her properly, you have messed up, She goes to work and comes back and the house is not clean to her taste, you have messed up, even to sleep you are messing up. You are applying for jobs but have not secured One…you have messed up. The baby is crying and you even suggest she looks after the baby after her long shift at work…..yep you’ve messed up. You dare ti ask why she came back late….. you’ve messed up. That’s life in the UK for a man dependent on his wife. These feelings will happen with every wife in this situation, the question is how long does it take for it to affect her behaviour towards you. How long does it take you to get your act together and the character of your wife. God did not design a woman to be in control of the destiny of her husband. Woman is a helper and women wives sincerely want to help but there is a difference between helping and handing control of your destiny to your wife. That your continued presence in the UK is dependent on your wife is a dangerous situation to put yourself. |
OZIOGU1:This is what I have been trying to tell him in a nutshell. Every divorce na “I love you” start am. |
Mindlog:Issokay, I have said my own. Messing up means not doing what she wants. He should just know he is now the wife. |
Mindlog:Basically she is his sponsor. If she doesn’t want him to come he stays in Nigeria, if he messes up while in England she can have him deported. So who is husband who is wife? You say paramedic in cold London? I am thinking of the lyrics of the song niteshift by commodores… Gonna be some sweet sounds Coming down on the nightshift I bet you're singing proud Oh, I bet you'll pull a crowd Gonna be a long night It's gonna be all right On the nightshift You found another home I know you're not alone On the nightshift, oh You found another home I know you're not alone On the nightshift |
jamesversion:You are cconfusing him with Ben Akabueze who was also DG budget under Buhari. Budget and revenue are different. This one was the one that drafted the decree under Ironsi that abolished regional govt and handed power to the center. |
Mindlog:Basically you are now the wife and she is the husband. |
The man who drafted the law that abolished regionalism and shifted power to the center. |
Kasdat5:How do you “cease” a key? |
MrBiGGEST:The person who sponsored them is also stupid by rewarding bad behavior with sponsorship. You are security guards dancing on duty and rightly got sacked. What did he expect? |
Daystar7:My position was taken based on events at the time. At at the time (impeachment by only 8 members) Wike held the upper hand and all Fubara’s actions were null and void. It has since come to light that members have defected and 26 members have aligned with the governor and legally removed the speaker. I make my analysis based on events as I see it. As it stands now, this is a severe blow to Wike. In light of the new events I agree with your analysis. Maybe I had overestimated him and his grip on the men in rivers. Let’s see how things evolve but no doubt, having his men realign with Fubara is a huge body blow. |
Kukutente23:That changes everything |
Daystar7:You are clearly another brainless r3tard. Nothing wrong with taking out your master, the game is the game but be smart about it. Fubara clearly does not have the brains and his actions today have only given legal ammunition for his impeachment. This thing is not by emotion or gra gra, it is by brain cells. Nothing wrong with outshine your master but you must have to brains to pull it off. A good strategist knows when to stoop Ana’s when to conquer. When Atiku wanted to take Obasanjo out, Obasanjo went on his knees to beg Atiku. Obasanjo’s revenge is still haunting Atiku till today. Politics is strategy not emotion. A good warrior or politician must recognize when he is weak and when he is strong. Don’t fight battles you can’t win. |
Odidigboigbo:There is precedent, court has already determined it. The law is not on Fubara’s side if Wike decides to take him out. |
mastermaestro:A sitting governor should earn his way to power and not emerge by way of Godfatherism. You emerge by godfatherism you get what you get. He knows the game, he knows the rules of the game, he emerged through the game and the game will boot him out. The law is not in his favour. Like I said he is trying to take on those with bigger brains than him, trying to play a game above his pay grade. At the end of the day court will settle the matter and the law is not in his favour. He has also not aided his cause by his litany of illegalities today. Giving legal grounds for impeachment. Your sentiments are legitimate but the law is the law. The law is not on his side. I keep telling people their is emotion and there is the law. Smart politicians always play within the law. Wike is a lawyer, when he was planting his puppets, it is because he understands the law. |
Kukutente23:A speaker, governor or president can only be removed by 2/3rds of the members of the house. Not the one that you will assemble 8 members and say 2/3rds of 8 voted in favor. That’s why akeredolu is having problems removing his deputy governor, same with Obaseki. It has to be 2/3rds of the house members. Full stop. Supreme Court decision. Governors in the past had taken advantage of the fact that whereas at the national level the constitution specifically says 2/3rds of "all" members, in the case of state the constitution does not say "ALL" but this has been clarified and confirmed by the SC...you need 2/3rds of "ALL" members to impeach a speaker or a governor. In any event a quorum for other matters is defined as 1/3 of the members, so any decision taken by 8 out of 32 is null and void. A state house of assembly cannot pass legislation and resolutions or even sit with only 8 members present. Talk less impeachment that you need 2/3rds of all members to vote in favour. So the people that this dullard governor has suspended will come back to impeach him and the chief judge he suspended will come back to oversee it. His illegal actions have now given them legitimate grounds for impeachment. This thing is not by gra gra but by brains. https://allafrica.com/stories/200704280014.html "Abuja — A full panel of the Supreme Court yesterday affirmed the verdict of the Jos division of the Court of Appeal which voided the removal from office of Governor Joshua Chibi Dariye by six state legislators and reinstated him into office." https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/breaking-news-supreme-court-affirms-fayoses-victory/ ABUJA – The Supreme Court has upheld the judgements of both the Ekiti State Governorship Tribunal and the Court of Appeal which had earlier affirmed Governor Ayodele Fayose’s victory. The apex court, also said that Fayose was not validly impeached in 2006. |
millionboi2:it is the same thing he is trying to do but he hasnt got the brains, to pull it off. I repeat myself, by taking on Wike he is taking on federal might. Even without Federal might, Wike is not a man you take on...nobody has survived a war with Wike be it Tambuwal, Atiku, Amaechi, Saraki etc etc. There are 2 politicians in Nigeria that are very strategic and have never lost a battle...Tinubu and Wike. This man thinks he can take them on...we go see. |
