Meanwhile it is America and UK that Nigerians worship and suck up to. What have the Americans and British done in Nigeria? In life, Know your true friends by those who will invest in your prosperity in your dreams and not those who give you handouts and entrench dependency. |
EyeCumInPiece:I must show the court 1) proof that I indeed had 1m to begin with (I.e there was something to be snatched) 2) proof eg witnesses or other evidence of the snatching 3) proof that You were the one that snatched the 1m from me That’s how the court works. It’s not a place for rumors and wild allegations. |
emkz:I hear he had a Freudian slip and said “if I had won”. Clearly he knows he did t win and this is all a show to remain in the headlines. He is not what Nigeria needs ever! |
Roboto11:99% people accusing others of rigging with no evidence. Meanwhile those with evidence showed the court. |
mctfopt:By that logic, all CATL cells on the market are grade B cells. The only way you can get a true grade A CATL cell is either in an EV or in a battery from a reputable battery manufacturer, in short there is no way for you and I or any Retailer to get his hands on a true grade A CATL cell. While it is true there are a lot of dodgy Eve cells on the market, you can get certified automotive grade Eve cells, you can even buy from Eve directly but ALL the CATL cells on the market are rejected cells. So I would say buying a CATL cell is perhaps more risky than buying an Eve cell because you know for certain it is a rejected cell.. If you read the solar forums and look at the places that have emerged as the source for reliable cells (including certified automotive grade) in their respective countries e.g Sunfunkits in the US, fogstar in the Uk, gobelpower in china, Nkon in the Netherlands, none of them stock or even advertise grade A CATL…because they aren’t available on the market. Of these the only ones who sell CATL clearly state they are grade B cells. Once you are dealing with grade B which constitutes most of the batteries on the market, you are at the mercy of 1) quality of the cell, I.e you hope it is what they say it is 2) the cells match so they perform well together in a pack. I would suggest that you disavow yourself of the notion that because the EVE market has been bastardized, CATLs on the market are any better. As for the different battery choices, That a battery contains a particular brand of cells does not mean they contain grade A of that brand. Felicity uses CATL for some of their LpBF batteries, so does this Nruit. However if you check the continuous and maximum discharge specs for CATL cells and compare them with that in the Felicity or Nruit battery, it is clear they both use Grade B cells, perhaps weak grade B. Whereas if you check the spec for Eve cells and check the specs for the Deye battery it would suggest the Deye battery contain grade A certified cells. TheDeye I checked has recommended continuous of .5 c , Maximum continuous charge of 1c and peak of 1.5c whereas the recommended and max continuous max charge for the Nruit is 0.5c or less which is usually a sign of lower grade cells. I didn’t check the dryness but between the Deye and the Nruit, it’s a no brainer…for me. 1st pic Deye. 2nd and 3rd pics are the cells in the Nruit and what a grade A CATL 240 ah should be able to handle.

isangjohnson:From what I understand CATL do not sell certified automotive cells to the public (that means Alibaba resellers too), all the Catl cells in the storage market are rejected cells that have been auctioned off. of which just like the Eve grade B, you will get good cells. The difference between eve and Catl is that you can buy certified automotive cells directly from Eve. |
isangjohnson:With this price if you are patient and can wait 3 months for shipping, are willing to learn, you are better off ordering certified automotive grade cells and a diy kit and have peace of mind…..and for less money. To me there is a level of spending where he “F” batteries makes no sense for what they are. I am yet to see any review of any “f” battery where the tested capacity matched the claimed capacity. |
abuzz33:40 c is well within the storage and operating temperature range for LIFepo4. Below are storage and operating temperature specs directly from EVE. Furthermore there is a video on YouTube where will Prowse places a lithium battery outside in 49degree heat and subject tTo rain, winter and the elements for 2 years and nothing happened to the battery. The article mentioned the cells were supplied from China. If the batteries are the cause of the fire, I suspect defective batteries were used. perhaps a poor grade rejected cell sold on as storage batteries. The one thing with lithium batteries is that they should not be stored or operated in high humidIty environments (see item 9 in last picture) so we should all bear this in mind because Lagos is a high humidity environment….often 80-90% humidity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znWo1sPVdM8?si=fwTobHaYZAStqO_a

princepeter566:Another set of Indians who are big in the agric sector have fled the country for same reason. |
Where is FIRS or state revenue board to make sure taxes have been paid? All these people making noise declaring should in any sane society especially one looking to raise IGR start to focus on these noise makers to see if they have paid their taxes. |
saintopus:It sounds good in theory but if you did not experience a stable home with two parents, you have no reference point to build one yourself. Whatever we learn at home in our formative years is what we carry into the world. It is extremely hard to change dysfunction that has been built into one’s DNA. We all have habits that we struggle with whose origins can be traced to our youth and upbringing. So for anyone to think you can just overcome family dysfunction is nothing but pure fantasy. It can be done but it takes constant consciousness and vigilance…most will not succeed. Very often those raised in dysfunction are not even aware of the dysfunction. Sometimes you want to over come but can’t because you have no reference point or experience of what it takes. This is why the cycle tends to continue. A man is brought up in a home by a single mother he has no father reference figure. He has not seen what it takes for a man to have peace at home because he has not experienced the dynamics of 2 parents at close quarters. He starts a family and feels it is everything he has to comment on and does not have the knowledge that for peace you have to learn to see and not see because he has not seen his father have to do these things. A woman is brought up by a single mother, as the breadwinner the mother is naturally masculine and aggressive because she has to perform the masculine roles of a missing father, the daughter has never experienced a scenario where the mother is submissive to anyone or has trust in a man, she has never seen the dynamics of a man and a woman in a stable and peaceful home. How is she supposed to unlearn what she has been nurtured in her formative years and trust and depend on and be a partner to a husband? Children from broken homes are more likely to have broken homes themselves because painful as the experience may have been and determined as they may be to avoid it themselves…. You can’t give what you don’t have! especially these days that marriages are fragile. It is possible but the vast majority will repeat the cycle. |
I’m sorry o but how can your wife be bread winner and you are still looking for sex? |
BigBlackPreek:Nigerians tend not to divorce especially in the south. They separate and continue to live their lives separately. |
KarinaSlim:If you are so convinced then feel feee to advise her to go ahead and leave her husband but I am telling you she will likely regret it in due course. When that happens just remmember you were among those who advised her. All you’ve talked about is beautiful, that in itself says a lot about you at least. I am a man, and I am telling you for a fact, beauty only attracts a man for sex. A man marries a woman for what value she adds to him. One of the 1st thing a man looks for in a woman when he wants to marry are character, purity and fertility. A man does not want to have children with a woman who has had children for other men. No man wants his child to be teased. A woman with a child no matter the beauty has her value drastically reduced. Your cousin will attract suitors if she is as beautiful as you say but again as a man don’t confuse desire for sex with desire for marriage. A woman with a child is as unattractive to a man as a man who is poor is unattractive to a woman. A man who is pulling his weight can never lack for women. A man worth his salt does not settle, a woman with a child is settling no matter how beautiful. She can only be a side chick to a good man with the eternal promise of marriage that will never come. You will be shocked the number of divorcees who end up becoming companions and side chicks to married men. You said you want advice, I have given you the advice I will give my own sister. If your husband is not abusing you, respects you, is not infecting you with STDs and is a good provider, better understand the grass is not greener. The same women he is cheating g with are queen g up to take your place and with a child you will likely end up the side chick to a married man. Let me sum up, if a woman has 10 men willing to marry her before she marries, if she divorces, of that 10, only 5 would be willing to marry her. Of that 5, only 1 would be willing to marry her once she has a child. What are the odds that that 1 man is one of the men she would have been willing to marry when she was single? Point is as a divorced woman with a child, if you are lucky to find a husband you would most likely have to settle for a man that was not not one of your top choices and you probably would not have considered if you were single and he 80% chance he will still cheat on you. You will then be forced to ask yourself how bad was the husband I divorced. |
KarinaSlim:2 things will happen. She will end up single and being passed from one man to another and any man she meets will also cheat. Her husband will find another woman easily and live happily ever after while she wallows in Misery. Men are polygamous by nature. That the white man came and dictated otherwise does not change that. Good Men are scarce. No man worth his salt wants a woman who already has children. |
Fugazy2023:The thing is most women do not have what it takes to marry a man that isn’t poor. Put it another way: men who are not poor will not marry the majority of women. Conclusion: most women will have no choice but to marry a poor man if want to marry. Women seem to make a false assumption that they have an entitlement to a good finan husband irrespective of their own qualities. If the OP had said the worst thing a high value woman can do is marry a poor man, I would agree but he said “a woman” Implying “any woman”. But how many women are high value women? Less than half which is why most women end up single. One could as well say the worst thing a man who isn’t broke is to marry a low value woman. Both statements would be true. |

ekrizz:Very! Let’s say you have money as a state, you did nothing with it, your successor is a thief, he steals all the money….what have you gained for the people? Don’t forget the road that costs 20b 8 years ago that you did not build when you were in office will cost 100b if your successor finally decides to build it today. Therefore it is better for you to have borrowed N20b 8 yrs ago to build that road that will improve your economy and raise your IGR than to find 100b today to build the same road. Today that road will cost 100b. But because you borrowed 20b 8 yrs ago, your debt on that road is less than N20b because you would have started paying it off and you have a road. Either way you will be paying interest on N20b not 100b. Furthermore if you have commited the states finances to servicing a loan to build a road that everybody is benefiting from, then there is less money for your successor to steal if he is a crook. If you didn’t build that road and your successor is a crook, the whole 20b is available for stealing, you have no road and he can enrich himself without doing any work. But if you have borrowed and built a road (I.e you have something to show for the borrowing) he has to work hard to raise revenue if he wants to steal not that you left east money for him to steal and no road for the people. In an inflationary environment that Nigeria is it is always better to borrow for projects as much as possible specifically local currency borrowing because by the time you are paying because your repayments are fixed and in time the currency is devalued so you are not really paying the true value. Simplified example: If you borrowed 5m to buy a car 10 yrs ago and your interest is 10% pa. You likely would have dlfinished paying off the loan by now and you have a car that because of inflation is probably worth even more than the N5m you paid 10 yrs ago. To buy the same car new today you probably need N40-50m. Even if you are still paying off the loan, your interest every year is only n500k but if you were to acquire the same car today, you would have to pay N5m in interest every year or find N40-50m in cash. |
No be you wan be governor? Stop complaining and start working. I like governors who leave debt so long as they did something with the debt. So if incoming wants to steal, he has to work hard to increase revenue. Unlike somebody who claim he was saving and did nothing only for successor to chop and clean mouth with the savings before disappearing g to Texas to enjoy. |
Racoon:this is not true, she attended Cambridge in the 1950s, she bacame prof in 1973. That picture was not a graduation picture but a matriculation picture. she left UI that same year (1949) for Cambridge. She was in cambridge from 1949-1953 studying for her B.sc and masters. she could not have been in Ui and cambridge at the same time. |
IamAsiri:2nd hand stories? what we know. 1.the man was shown shege at airport 2. the woman narrated why 3. the man has not responded to her allegations therefore story is incomplete |
IamAsiri:I am not in disagreement with you except that I reserve judgement until I know the story from both sides. I know the capacity of some women to be manipulative and I know the capacity of some men to be cruel and abusive to women. |
samcolee:i understand ex-gov without a state has been singing and implicating certain businessmen who abused the forex regime and recoveries have been made. you also remmember the price of a certain commodity was reduced recently...its not for charitable reasons...I hear it was part of the deal. |
IamAsiri:hmmm All i am saying is I dont expect a woman who did that to her husband to say otherwise just like a cheating woman always says her husband or boyfriend is a deadbeat...even if he isnt. Have you ever met a woman who wants to cheat and says her husband/boyfriend is a great guy…how would that make her look? they (women up to no good) have to paint a bad picture to justify their actions...therefore a woman saying her husband abuses her does not mean it is true....it doesnt mean it isnt either. |
IamAsiri:According to his wife. If so, like I said it is deserved. But just as I have never known a woman who cheats that will tell you her husband is a good man, so also an errant devious woman will not tell you her husband is a good man if her plan all along was to do away with him once he has served his usefulness. So one side of the story is not enough to judge. I lived in the UK, I have heard all sorts that Nigerian women make up because they know the law and child services will always favour them. Including women who will deliberately provoke and batter their husbands to create a scene and secretly call the police. I am not saying that is what is going on here but I know that a lot of Nigerian women in particular marry just to be married and have kids. Once they achieve that the man starts to become dispensable in their eyes as the relationship was never about love. This is particularly true when the man is struggling financially or the woman now feels she has financial independence in which case the man has no usefulness in her eyes. I am not saying that’s the case, Just saying one side of the story is not enough to judge. But like I said, if her version is true, he deserves it. |
IamAsiri:if he is a wife beater i have no sympathy for him and he 100% deserves what he gets. If you abuse your wife, no matter how long it takes she will extract her revenge. However not all situations are abused women. I am not saying this woman's story is not true, i wasnt there, I dont know. One thing i have learnt is an errant woman who is in a good relationship and wants to misbehave is not going to tell you all is well in the relationship. Actually If a man abuses his wife and wants to sponsor her abroad with the aim of joining her, I will encourage him because when he gets there he will see shege!! However if you have been a good husband, know your wife well before you attempt it. |
NOC1:very true. I understand a lot of our forex issues are due to deals done with the former governor without a state and that he has been made to refund a large sum of forex. |
Sapiosexuality:if they werent married, i doubt she would be able to sponsor him in the 1st place. This is the Uk where if a full fledged British citizen has a child outside the Uk with a woman he is not married to, the child does not automatically have british citizenship. |
