If you're a religious person read at least the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible for a start. Then the Rationale Male series and Robert Greene's books. These books except the religious texts for the non religious, ought to be the foremost of every readers. Then, depending on your area of interest I can recommend. Personally, I don't like PDF format of books, I love holding my books and like seeing the physical growth of my library. However, many books I have read in PDF aren't available in the bookshops around me. I know Amazon is there but you can't expect me to spend more than 30K(cost of book and import duty) on a book that I know will not amount to 3k had it been I found it in any bookshop nearby. This is as a result of the exchange rate between the naira and the dollar. And I can't deprive myself of any knowledge I'm holding because I don't like the plate it was dished. 1. Yes a man can decide to wake up at "age 40" or at any particular age and improve his sexual market value, develop his life and spank different butts. But how many men do you think have this kind of advantage? If it was so, how come men are still homeless in their majority even till old age? How come life expectancy for men is still low? Wage is declining as per day, taxation increasing by the day, and high inflation. Crime rate is also on the increase and men bear the greater burdens of all these.

2. If you consider the present day economy, you'll understand that men are really at a great disadvantage, they can only use cunning and leveraging of their time to upheave themselves to a higher level. Fiancée been acting wierd lately ...the whole issue started after I insisted I’m not going for court marriage... we plan getting married in two months (she’s already conceived) ... I’m ready to perform my traditional requirements on her , no matter what her family demands, not even considering the fact that I’m not prepared for these, the pregnancy seems to be hastening things for me but I don’t mind ... she’s been insisting she really wants the court thing , she cries all days now ... and the whole lovey Dovey thing she use to do already stops ... In order of priority to save the little head you've been carrying "jejely" for almost three decades of your life.

1. Go carryout a paternity test to authenticate if that unborn innocent child is really one that bears same resemblance with you and your predecessors. If the court gets involved after the whole wedding brouhaha, and you later discover that the child/children aren't yours, you'll definitely end in regret and rage.

2. Anything more than traditional marriage is a FOOLISH work on the side of the man. It's not only foolish but also drudgery. White wedding is a scam! Court wedding is a scam! 3. Nothing like love! But true love is only seen on a man's path. Only man and the divinity can show true love, no wonder divinity is represented by a male figure. And in the later years he learns how to maintain and channel his aggressive trait, how to be cunning; how to maintain dominance; how to maintain and ensure discipline; how to identify, search, capture and bring down his enemies; how to leverage on his emotions and weakness; how to "stay" out of trouble and how to become successful in life. For the early years the child(male) needs most especially the mother and the later years most especially the father. The female child learns femininity from the mother and how to identify masculinity from her father. The male child learns masculinity from the father and how to identify feminity from his mother---this is in the ideal state!

However, modern day men and women are seriously skewing to the left that leads to destruction. As a husband, you don't know when your wife will pull the trigger, don't expect her to stay with you and your children till they become strong, rather, source for means on how to take care of your children in the most appropriate way with or without the mother. Though it's a difficult task but it's a task a married man must perform.

6. Let her cry and wail till thy kingdom come, just make sure you maintain frame and don't succumb. Her tears is but for a moment, and by the time she can no longer intimidate you with it she will calm down.

7. Should in case she proves stubborn and starts acting belligerently or through physical assaults, make sure you tender the case in a police station. There's nothing this women can't do, no length they can't go, no king they can't dethrone. Make sure you have her on check and still have different colourful moves ahead of her.

8. Tell her to choose between being a babymama or a wife. You can even threaten her that if she doesn't want to follow your lead she should ab**t the c***d. Make sure you're always thinking ahead, don't jeopardize your life for an adventure that's worthless. Marriage don't favour the man, however, a man can still make do with it if he so decides but not out of compulsion nor guilt nor shame.

Plagiarism is so so annoying, it makes you not to experience the light from the torch you're holding, others just come and take the glory without recognizing your efforts. This is not to say we must always bring out new hot fresh bread from the oven. Definitely, for us to grow higher and faster without looming in the dark for too long, we must stand on the shoulders of our predecessors for guidance and leadership. Every individual should be able to take what works for them and jettison others that don't suit them, however, that doesn't mean one should neglect truth because he still cherish his beautiful falsehood. What I mean is that don't take anything that will make you jeopardized your integrity, principle and conscience. Take what align with your core values and let other ideas or nuggets evaporate. Humans have a capacity for error, which means: no one is absolutely correct all the time. One must be able to try, sift and separate the chaffs from the wheat. This is a great honour and I really appreciate the fact that you and others find the words I share here valuable. Anyone can make do with whatever he or she feels with the words I share, only what I need is reference as I hate plagiarism, because references guides and direct us on the right channels to take when scavenging and searching for knowledge. For me, I only read books and blogs the people I admire or follow reference. And I think that's the right way in maintaining a consistent path and encapsulating oneself from partial or corrupt or incorrect knowledge. Though I see some level of plagiarism on this thread daily and we must ensure to grow above it and develop ourselves individually to become the people we admire or even become more better than them rather than taking glory and credits for their works. Many a times, I do search some of the nuggets shared here on twitter, google etc and it's so disappointing to see that some acclaimed knowledge it's not true; just copy and paste and take the glory. It's a trait prevalent on Nairaland and it's good we abstain from such.

What really motivates writers to keep writing is not the money they make, besides writers don't make real money from the words they write. Their motivation is seeing that their words are flying around and people are making good use of it. It even encourages them to always refine their writing.
