Etizz:If PMB tries same heh, the national outrage that will follow, he won't know what hit him. I'm sure he wouldn't make such silly mistake even with his military background. |
legendte:Indeed. Your temerity for tangential reasoning is legendary. And to the other 9 that likes the emptiness too. |
specialadviser5:Gbam! Gbam! Gbam! Kudos to you. You just gave me an idea. I am so gonna have this all over the street. |
Mylove55:With reasonable responses as this, we still have serious hope from the female folks, unlike someone few posts above. |
limeta:Haba! And this coming from a female? The absence of a hat means he could be from any place in Nigeria. I suspect the EFCC must have expected such masturbat1ons on its post hence the carefulness. |
og2711:Like "Transformers" abi? actually that will make serious sense o. |
Yyeske:It's funny actually. But believe me, I so much love to see that in action. Maybe we can export some for dollars to boost the ailing economy. |
SamuelAnyawu:I know you would love to lump the two together to achieve that aim. Who amongst the two bears arms and dangerous weapons? Who kidnaps? Who vandalises? And who would rather engage in intimidation and social vices to press home unreasonable demands? Mind you, use of charms and diabolical powers are still not entrenched in the constitution as illegal or criminal. |

Singapore1:Eeye Dem jazz work on you wella. |
Bookiemart01:Kikiki. Stanbic has gone rouge. It's now in cahoots with GTB. 350 naira to the dollar on Stanbic from purchase two days back. A kangaroo leap from 310 few days back. |
frebor:God bless you yanfuyanfu. But is the tab available on the full site because I don't really use the mobile app (the official app is not available for windows devices). Also a screenshots will do more. Thank you. |
Gunbiz:I wonder o. Na so me too dey ask. |
With Ecobank (the nonsense bank), he will likely not get the full value of his money back. It will not be reversed based on the prevailing dollar exchange rate. He will also be charged various back charges like VAT, POS charges, VAT on POS and some nonsense like "VAT on VAT, all in respect of that sigle transaction. Bookiemart01: |
I noticed that since about three months ago. They used to be very effective and prompt in notifications, but now, mstcheeeew! How much is Stanbic's dollar now sef? Bookiemart01: |
priceaction:You see, I strongly believe that even the payments backed up with receipt issuance still go into their private pockets irrespective of duplicate or triplicate copy. To indeed ensure that monies go to the government, they should adopt something like REMITA or less strenuous basic POS machines where you can use your card over the counter, or even the way Federal tertiary health institutions operate fund collection. |
Humblega:Does AliExpress not have features similar to AGC (Amazon Gift Cards) wherein people can have funds in their wallet dominated in dollars or any other currencies, tucked away in AliExpress pay system? I think this will reduce the headaches of exchange rate for buyers on their platform. |
nevilbot:He wouldn't care to know that the NPF has an FCU (Financial Crime unit) and that it is actually from there that Chairmen for other anti graft bodies, especially the EFCC are picked. |
DMerciful:Please let's not condemn or discourage him. To some extent, I think some conspiracy theories on power generation may actually be true - like killing the electric car years back in order to strengthen concentration on fossil fuels because of the returns. Battery tech was well developed back then to establish electric vehicles and some dudes had successful projects of theirs but decided to keep it underground. Years down the line, the government is right now strongly pushing the "never workable" concept of electric vehicles to move away from fossil fuels. Millions of Americans this year alone pre-ordered the new Tesla S all electric vehicle. Mercedes Benz has promised its own all electric full sized SUV to break the 500 mile per charge record. Perpetual motion machine: Hmmm. Several theories have been proposed and a few is just logical. I give kudos to the poster because he has taken the gut to go that far in establishing the workability of that concept. If it works and if I were him, I'll likely keep it close to my chest for now. I have though about doing some projects like such too, though with a different, more logical concept of "self-driving dynamo-motor arrangement" in which you use the left over power from the arrangement to your devices while the generator runs itself perpetually, at least until you stop it. I haven't had the time. Heck, I haven't even taken the simplest step of sourcing the materials yet even though I have the template already perfected and mapped out. That is why I give kudos to the poster for having gone this far. I will not mind him carrying me along honestly if he succeeds, not to steal his idea but it may encourage mw to start on my own quest. OP, carry me along with your project, If you don't mind. But publicize it less because expectedly and rightly so, people express a lotta doubt about "free-energy concepts", so you can't make lotta disciples even when you have a working concept. It's the way the curriculum is programmed. So I don't blame anyone for expressing their doubts. The system teaches you that energy is not destroyed, but converted from one form to another, yet they also contradictorily posit that you can NEVER attain a self-driving arrangement in machine even when backed with verified theories of physics. |
These responses: 1. Yorubas are not smart at all. Buhari is gradually turning that region to a war zone in retaliation for turning the North to war zone with BH. He did not succeed doing it with south easterners when he arrested Kanu, expecting civil unrest as an excuse to bomb the South East. 2. It is all propaganda. Buhari should show us pictures of burnt militants as evidence. 3. Those are not war helicopters but helicopters of servicing oil companies. 4. Those being bombed are not ijaws, but Yorubas. Buhari is bombing Yoruba criminals and the zombie westerners are rejoicing. 5. Buhari is bombing innocent civilians that live in these areas where the criminals may not even reside as they would have fled the areas when the get whiff an impending army bombardment. By Friday we will start seeing mothers coming out searching for lost children. 6. The FG better not try this nonsense with we the Ijaws and NDA because FIGHTING is our surname. 7. The FG did not give this kind of brute response to the NDAs but will rather do so to Lagos because the south west is more important to the FG. Yet another school of thoughts posited variously and vehemently too: 1. Thank God for this military intervention to rid our place of the criminals. 2. My area is presently hot now as I can hear exchange of gunfire. 3. Bro, abeg lie down for ground. Stay away from the windows o. 4. I saw the army passed by my street in Ikorodu with machine guns earlier on. 5. The inhabitants in Arepo will surely be glad to be rid of this menace. I had to abandon my house because they have killed almost 20 landlords in retaliation of one of their gang member arrested. They even cut off the ear of one man because he understands Ijaw language. 6. These criminals live kilometers away offshore in shanties far from civilizations. They even steal generators and flat screen TVs to live a decent life in their shanties. 7. They are mostly Ijaws that come into town when they need bunkering jobs carried out. The Oba and some Yoruba men and women are in cahoots with them as they always tax the militants before granting them permission to do a job in their turf. 8. Anyone that is caught in that fire even if Yorùbá will have to explain what he is doing in such places away from civilization. He/she will likely be those that do business with these vandals. 8. Please don't cry more than the bereaved. Lagosians have not complained about steps to rid their state of criminals. Even the people of Arepo have no complaints. 9. Release pictures so you can start crying genocide, UN, EU, HRW abi? If you want pictures, abeg take your chinko phone go take pictures yourself. 10. I was on Lagos Ibadan expressway and spotted this helicopter dropping those bombs. Na like I dey watch action movie. I can't go on for want of space and time. Do you need to be told the real proponents of peace, stability and progress from the two groups presented to you above? Do you need to be told those who put HUMANITY before ethnicity, religion, kith and kin or political affiliation from the two groups? You can tell those group whose comments are sentiment driven, two-faced and hypocritical at best. |
teapot:Whao! Na wa o. Did you drive 'em back as far as their own territory and take back your town sha, or is it deserted? |
omonighoblessing:Great. Good job. |
mank1234:Very good question on issues with VDC transmission. I foresaw that problem but I just went ahead anyways. Initially, I noticed about 1 volt to 2 volt drops at the termination of those wires (at most 15 to 20 meters lenght). What I did was to simply upgrade the gauges of wires used for subsequent connections. Also since it is LED lightings, the drivers function well at voltage range between 9 volts to 13volts, so there is even no problem of flickering. The only issue as of now is with some of the LED lights that I used resistors only to drive their constant current supply. I am scouting for an appropriate circuit diagram to construct a better driver as replacement for the resistors-only drivers. I have also employed the use of inline DC-DC boost converters with some successes. |
midastouch: Bro. You are the wrong person. As one above pointed out, it's pronounced "el-ee-dee". I too had a hard time getting used to that cos even till date, I occasionally call it as it is: LED instead of calling out the acronym. |
allCopacetic:Sorry, i just got the generic you mean now. I meant to say unpopular brands like the Philips. 220 VAC is not polarity restricted. But at the output terminals of some of the drivers above, the Vout usually ranges from 11.5VDC to 18 VDC and is polarity specific. I was actually talking at the level of lower voltages of 12/24 VDC direct as the mains voltage. That's what powers all the lighting points in my crib. I avoid experimenting with 220 VAC na Na you be don for that department.Working with LEDs can be pretty exciting. LEDs is taking over lighting like Lithium chemistries are taking over battery majorly from Lead acid and less majorly from nickel cadmium et al. |
Muyiii:You're working with Fibre optics with that? |
talk2riel:Except those ones have the drivers integrated and sealed into the units, you may have needed to replace only the drivers without the hassle of replacing whole units. It's the cheap components in the drivers that usually burn out first, especially capacitors and resistors. Typically, the LED chips 'emselves outlast the drivers. In fact, you can even replace the LED chips with some knowledge in electronics (not electrical o ). |
omonighoblessing:What are you studying? |
ITbomb:It's normal for new techs to be initially expensive. The producers need to make returns from their years of researching the successful product. Also there is the issue of patent for some years. Once patent runs out and mass production by all players begin, prices crash. Nigeria's case is always absurd though and defies logic. |
allCopacetic:Very correct that generic products flood Nigerian markets. The good brands like Philip et al are more expensive. Some generics however equally works as good and last as good as the popular brands. Also some LED drivers, usually having G4 connectors, are designed to adapt to either VAC or VDC (AC or DC voltage) input so long as the voltage source do not exceed the stipulated, usually 12/24 volts. The G4 drivers are also spared of polarity restrictions (no +ve or -ve to worry about as it works equally well both ways) I recently finished constructing about 3 units of G4 LED drivers to replace some CFL security lights. |
justi4jesu:By the way, I've been wondering. Is that fee demanded at that postal desk legit? Of tens of deliveries I've taken, I have only been issued a receipt (with the resemblance of a bank cheque) for such monies once and that was at the central post office in the state capital. The other places in the suburbs, receipts aren't issued. I also noticed that one lady at the counter has penchant for altering the amount written on the package. Changes 100 naira to 200, 200 to 300 naira. I am thinking of reporting that irregularity to the central post office in the state capital, but I'm nor sure if I'm just being paranoid here.

Paperwhite:Haba! This is crystal clear na. First, dwelling on that "C" word is not frivolity, rather your attempt at downplaying the condemnation of corruption by tagging my response as, in your own words, "endless and senseless" is. Second, there is no single truth in what you insinuated in that previous post of yours and even what you want us all to believe now. Majority of Nigerians did not vote on sentiments or hatred for GEJ, people got tired of the "Business as usual" that plagued that regime - corruption that stinks to the high heavens. The people doing the work going on empty stomachs and the criminals lounging in palatial mansions getting free and illegitimate monies and feeding fat therein. Gross padding of the Nigerian budget is a yearly ritual. MDAs and Ministers "lobbying" the lawmakers with kickbacks to pass the inflated sums was standard practice. So your claim up there is erroneous. But at least you apparently agreed that budget padding is a norm for years if you could classify the 2016's as "grossly". It was rightly tagged "budget of change" when it was presented by the presidency, yes. It was aimed at giving Nigerians the transparency the yearned for. Remember that the presidency did not single-handedly prepare the budget, ministries have input too, so do the lawmakers which are rightly majorly APC. But the presidency on suspicion of foul play, refused to sign it following the various antics by the lawmakers. This is something that will have been condoned by administrations before now. While many reasonable Nigerians stood with the presidency on this, few insatiable ones tried to railroad him into signing it. It's therefore no surprise that this same set of people presently tag the signed 2016 budget as "grossly padded". The culprits behind this crime against Nigerians cut across various ethnicities and political parties, APC included. But aren't you pleased that an APC government will in the overall interest of Nigerians not overlook this terrible crime in which some her members are implicated? Truly, you should be, except if you have your conscience already sheared with hot iron not to see any good in a perceived enemy. Your notion that I defend APC is also erroneous. I am Nigerian, I stand by and defend what is in the best interest of my fellow Nigerians. If any government in power threatens that interest, they automatically sign up for war from well meaning Nigerians, I included. |

actually that will make serious sense o.
