hausatoomumu:I bwg to differ. Not anybody can. Doing this requires someone with passion for understanding "how things work the way they do" and not just stopping at that but with the zeal to make some things with similar function but this time around based on your own imaginations including addimg more features to your specs and taste. In short, it requires some level of ingenuity to even do the most elementary of things like that. |
Iamwrath:It's unfortunate that you choose not to see something good im what that boy has done. He simply assembled always made products, yes, but do you know the level of thinking that is needed to put together the various wirings to bring out that thing for a JS3 chap? As a JSS3 student who has only the basic knowledge of science as much as integrated science as a subject offers, he has imaginations. I don't think electronics is one of the offerings in integrated science s a subject. You get to start electronics in SS1. Yet he pushed himself. Do you know why I will not put down the guy like you did? I was in his shoes, more like a hobby, starting mine as early as primary 3. As an adult, I chose a different career progression unrelated to technology, but I still secretly nurse my hobby and I still do some tinkering. In my spare time which I rarely have though, I still put together circuit boards and electronics parts so from scratch to make things ranging from simple wireless chargers, wireless switches, LED circuits, automatic security lights to full size solar charge controllers using scraps ranging from spent laptop batteries and the likes. I even have a full home security appliance constructed to my taste and specs. I did not put together disassembled parts but I went as far a purchasing electronics components for my use (resistors, diodes, ICs, etc). In my inventry are tools ranging from solar powered mini drills to multimeters and even USB powered solding irons. If I see a protege who wishes to go into electronics as a career, I honestly wouldn't mind supporting such. We all know that environmental factors and government policies in our country does not encourage the few with such inclination, understanding, fervour and gift as this chap has, but it is not in your place to put him down either. |
Cuteamigo1:That's "Truth beating" used on him. Trust the NPF. |
SweetBoyFriend:That wheelbarrow is what Etisalat can afford conveniently for now. Recession things. |
EMEKA1MILLION:Mehn. You should appreciate the fact that the recession spares no one. You wan make account enter red ni? |
A kenyan man physically attacked his wife, showering blows and kicks on her after he caught her having an affair with their church pastor, KTN has reported. The husband, name withheld was aid to have suspected the long standing infidelity of the wife which came to fore when he stormed into the inn where the two (his wife and the pastor) had arranged their meeting. The pastor, visibly embarrassed and who was not attacked by the husband was seen struggling to put on his shirt and was not sure whether to cover his face from the camera or cover his unclothedness. The philandering wife at a point decided to seek succour from her husband's blows by running behind the Pastor who was rightly big-sized/obese and with enough fat to repel any oncoming blows. At this point the camera further caught the faces of the two lovers who obviously owed no serious remorse. LorDBolton:Egg-zactly! |
shamecurls:Oh no! That's because statistically and expectedly, the female gender have breast Ca predominating. |
Kingkamba:Truth. If GEJ had gotten re-elected, he'd have kept looking the other way while they keep looting. After all, he granted a presidential pardon to Alams who according to the former, is his mentor. If these criminals had gotten Jonathan re-elected, they'd be walking free. Now this is what they deserve for the badu belle against hero GEJ. Tragic. So tragic. |
RealityShot:Please do not solicit for him in the excuse of low federal allocation. Osun state has a low allocation, just a tad higher than Ekiti's but their governor ensurd he cleared most of the salry arrears and that of pensioners. Fayose has twice collected bailout funds. But each time he gets it, he kept arguing that it is not meant for salaries but for capital projects. So he is owing six months salary arrears to every worker in his state. He owes a few 8 months. He has not paid any workers salary in 2017. Please bo not hold brief for that guy. |
NurseEze1:Are you opening a patent medicine store, a chemist/pharmacy? You should know where to draw the line in any of those two. You will need to be a certified pharmacist to privately own a pharmacy, else you should have a pharmacist in your employ. Ditto hospital or clinic which you can only operate if you are certified medical doctor, then your hospital may have its own dispensary. Failure to adhere to these is inviting criminal prosecution. You can have a patent medicine store without being a pharmacist though, but then you are severely limited in the types and brands of drugs you are allowed to stock by law. |
kabrud:Nooo! And I was already giving you a thumb up. Don't mess everything up now pal, please. Matter of fact, a court clerk should ideally be able to rise to become a minister of Justice... Going by your logic, that is. |
tafrica:Cattles are bred and reared for consumption. The same does not hold for this endangered crawler that gets taken when it strays out of the wild. |
Xcelinteriors:Have you suddenly forgotten that this is a snake thread? You wan chop ban Abi? Dey there continue to dey put "property posts" for snake thread. |
Bolustic:Seriously, you need to include in your request for forgiveness, the peeps that you are referring to. And God help you if the forgiveness is not forthcoming. |
mrvocalprowess:Accepted her rehearsals overnight precluded her getting dressed for the following day and probably got fagged out that she couldn't make it early to class. What excuses will you proffer for her making phone conversations while in a lecture? I can just picture the embarrassment, anger and repulsion on the faces of most people in the class as she does that. |
hahn:He sent her out not because of her indecent dressing, but because of her indecent manner of making phone calls during a lecture and in a class filled with intellectual minds. Apparently, she'd be better off making her phone conversation outside uninterrupted and unrestricted. How 'bout that as a better option? |
I admire the maturity of that lecturer to hold back from the first onslaught from the lady's indecent dressing and interrupting the class. However the last straw was her display of foolery in taking phone calls during lectures. There are social norms guiding the use of cell phones. Good one Mr. Lecturer. |
thesicilian:A facial tumour, not brain tumour. |
opal4real:Chi MMM ohhhhhhh! Chai! Fixed. |
Martins301:And how are you so sure of that? GEJists had firmer belief in 2015 about Jonathan but the majority of Nigerians prevailed. At it stands now, the public opinion amd popularity of GMB has waned significantly. If a better candidate comes from any party come 2019, you can be sure GMB do not stand a chance. |
FuckTheMod:I think a less insulting but more apt phrase could have read "If you examine it critically". Don't you think so? |
humilitypays:What wise Yoruba girls do once they notice strong disapproval of their relationships frim a potential mother-in-law is to call the guy and let him know that his mother's opinion and blessings on the relationahip and marraige is very important, cannot be wished away and cannot be downplayed. So if the mother or the guy's family will not approve of the union, they should go their seperate way, no hard feelings to it. In Yoruba, the wife is not only married to the man, but also to the man's family and also the man to the wife's. She becomes a wife, a daughter and sister to the whole family. |

Philpham:In both instances, money and fame I believe, is what made the women say yes. The ladies can deny this, but they should ask 'emselves if sincerely their answers will be yes if those two were not financially okay and famous. |
Bobbyunitedfc:Irrespective of the veracity of the claims or visions of your mum or aunt, I will implore you to listen to them. Your mother will not ask you to put your hand into fire. And while you have every right to your opinions or choices as a grown up, I sincerely implore you to listen to the counsels of elderly ones. I have no strong bias against marrying from other tribes, but your mum may have her reservations and sincerely it may be due to her selfish reasons, especially when it has to do with her fear of communication or interaction with your spouse culture-wise. But the questions are this: Is her opinion about taking your mate from your tribe an entirely bad opinion? Do you believe that you will never find a mate that you would love like you feel about the lady in question? Do you believe that in an average African cultural setting and especially Nigerian outlook, and as it is in western cultures, your parents have no input whatsoever in your marriage or your family life? Do you think it is in your best interest to disregard your mother's concern about your welfare, especially now that your aunt corroborates your mum's position in the matter? (mind you that they may have both planned it together but it still doesn't matter IMO as their aim is to convince you beyond reasonable doubt) Do you think you have to be selfish in your choices not minding how it rubs off of your family and especially your mum? (She may be worried that she won't be free with in-laws from other tribes as she would have loved to do if it were people of her own culture and extract, having in mind that mothers see their first son as their own little husband which they wouldn't want lose) If your answers to those are in the negative, then you may need to listen to your mum not minding the inconveniences to you. It doesn't mean your manly attribute is being compromised but it actually is wisdom in handling issues. |
FILEBE:Yínká Ayéfélé was already married for some years before the mishap. It was alleged that his wife deserted him shortly after. She came back to the marriage after much persuasion and entreaties, but not after money began rolling in. I'd say she was lucky to have retraced her step. Not too many people have such opportunities of a second chance. |
This is one serious theatrics . And why does the pastor's voice sound like that of Usofia? |
dejavski:That's in Ìlàje dialect. You definitely will not discount the substitution of 'i' with 'u' in Ìjèsà dialect which gives credence to my earlier position. That means "Isu" (yam) will be "Usu". "Iró" becomes "Uró", ditto "Igbó". I assumed any Yorùbá person that read my submission will easily think up Ìjèsà dialect as my point of reference, but you just had to make me explain. |
pragmatistm:12 volts electric iron are available. They work with your 12volt DC source like deep cycles batteries or even directly plugged into your solar panels. |
suffy4me:Not if you stick to your principles. A lady or guy that can boldly look you in the face, shun the wonderful moments you both had, damn the consequences his/her decisions to quit will have on you and not ready to listen to the voice of reason that differences that always exist between individuals who are friends are meant to be worked out do not deserve a second chance from you. Who's to say she will not repeat the same thing? That is just the way it is. Gone for good. Never to look back. Past tense. |
