Why can't we still foster this spirit of oneness among the different ethnicities in Nigeria? It's obvious that together, we can achieve greatness beyond imagination. |
Sir Shina Peters (born Oluwashina Akanbi Peters in Ogun State on the 30th of May, 1958) is one of Nigeria’s most renowned musicians while Clarion Chukwura is one of the most popular actresses in the land. The two of them are parents of one of Nigeria’s best music video producers, Clarence Abiodun Peters. Here is an image of the lovebirds in 1982 on the cover of the original track of Owo L’Agba (Money Power) feat. the duo. They are no longer together as Sir Shina Peters is married to another woman now. http://naijarchives.com/sir-shina-peters-and-clarion-chukwura-in-1982/

skyluv2000: I think senator Ekweremmadu has a nice point there, its better,GEJ stay for one term and leave the office.for some of you slowpokes especially westerners here, didnt ur brother wanted third term, so what crime had GEJ committed in trying to utilize his franchisement to the fullest. What are you on about? Your posturing and arguement don't hold water. Pray tell, which region championed mostly the opposition to OBJ 3rd term agenda? To help you out, it's the west. Yes, his own people! So you see your folly. It's good to see things as they are, not as who you are. Only then will ethnic sentiment cease to be a clog in the wheel of Nigeria's progress. |

darediamond: DO NOT GET IT TWISTED , SOLAR CHARGERS AND POWER SYSTEMS ARE FOR REAL OOO!!Your digits are not here. But check your nairaland e-mail as i've sent you a message there for onward communication. |
imsparkling: Av also had a similar experience, but mine was just a text msg it reads; dis is 2 inform u dat u cannot run away from me, d master of d dark. D earlier u come bk 2 me d better 4 u. I am d devil and u can't fool urslf if u don't wanna follow me, I will make u do dat forcefully....its me SATAN!! Dats d msg and I got it one sunday mrnin in my room @ skul. I was totally speechless dat I showed my nebos d msg.. I cldnt call d number bk cos it was customised wt SATAN. I cried day day, I prayed I fasted hmmmmm!! It was indeed terrible 4 me. Bt ppl made me 2 knw dat it might be someone dat knew me dat did dat 2 me. Na only God knws ooo!! Well my conclusion z dat its END TIME BELL RINGING!Can't stop laughing. You must be a great catch for cheap jokes. So you didn't think numbers could be customised in that manner or maybe you've been watching that "the eye" movie. And to think you went fasting. Then you'll fall for the MTN call to claim your LED TV text messages scam. Ndo. Exponental: 080-666-xx-666 dats my friends no.Yes you're right. I won't dare pick the call and I'd be scared too simply because firstly, at that time, feeling groggy having been awoken from sleep gives you no time to assess the situation logically hence the panic. Secondly, there might be nobody around at about that time to discuss the "weirdness" with thereby sharing the burden of analysing the situation. But I guess praying at that instant will give sense of security till daybreak when you fit shout for help just as that woman did. Lol. |
Alikaxon: Who could be those after her life? The first thing that comes to a smart mine is it's all arrangee things organised to garner sympathy for her otherwise why is it happening at around the time she's in the armoured BMW mess? And the dangers of her having enemies isn't the greatest of the ministers' portfolios. Even the coordinating minister for the economy is a more endangered specie. You see, the annoying things about Nigerian leaders is how intellectually deprived they think Nigerians are. The same manner Bode George feigned collapse during his trial in the courtroom, Cecilia Ibru played similar games. Who wouldn't put two and two together to deduct correctly that this was staged? Why hadn't she waited for about 6 to 7 months before doing such at which time it'll be more credible she's in danger and as such can cleverly shut down her critics or better still waited silently for the scandal to die a natural death as it was with past scandals. Just an observation. Sunny_bobo: The Yoruba mafia at work.Hehehe. Na wa o. Sure that'l be the next mantra na. It's the expected song. zeelo2014: THe same way the assasins got Dora abi?Dora was a woman of substance, detribalized and does not care whose ox is gored (remember she prosecuted her own relative for erring) and therefore is definitely bound to step on toes. Personally i respect and adore her more than these current crop. She was actually recommended for that appointment based on her history of honesty, accountability and dedication in the civil service. |

ROSSIKE: You need to develop a brain and realise that being a developing region is no excuse for anyone to portray you as a hopeless place with nothing but mud huts and nak.ed children.Your reply didn't really come across as answers to the questions he asked. Maybe you missed those questions. So here goes. Lordlexyy: How many quality hospitals do we |
MAHMOUD04: : Dont mind those self centered creatures, I didn't see azezola: The boy kill for jesus, evil christian. BinghiNya: And someone will say christianity is a religion of peace. He killed someone and he follows jesusOkay. We've heard y'all. He actually shouted "Hallelujah, in Yesus name, Yesu akbar" while strangulating the woman but they forgot to report it. Are y'all happy now? dhaewood: i wanted to say the same thing but just dont want to be tribalistic thank GOD ,,,,,,,,,,,,,na una brother talk am............very aggressive kind of human being,,,,they want u to do something for them for free but not willing to reciprocate, in marriage their village youth are aggressive.....ready to scatter your wedding ceremony if dont pay the heavy fees they set before you................Haba! Take it easy dude. You're going too far and about to cross the line. You shoulda just stopped at the "na una brother talk am..." part and put whatever grouse you have in check. That's reasonable enough. |
mayorme: Reverse Back- Its either you reverse, or you back upYes. You can sue someone to the witches. #Spiritual things# ![]() |
VICTORCIZA: ....AND THEY SAY THEY ARE PROGRESIVEYes they are. Because they waste no time bringing erring and corrupt officials to book. |
With the narrations here, it's sure the statistics of Nigerians that loose money (stolen, misplaced, snatched, mysterious disappearances) will run to around 3 million Nigerians per year or 8000 Nigerians per day. That is a frightenenly huge number. It happened during my NYSC year. Koko, warri north local government of Delta state. I'd been paid my monthly salary 2 days earlier, a sum of 40 thousand Naira. It's usually paid in cash, so the question of it being in the bank is out of it. So i had it kept in my laptop bag and left for work. Around 12 noon, something nudged me to go home. This is unusual cos it's earlier than 4pm which is the normal closing hour. Behold i got to the corpers' lodge to find my room broken into and the money gone, but suprisingly the laptop intact (it was to be properly stolen 2 years later). Three other rooms belonging to colleagues were also ransacked. I immediately reported at the police station where one bloody officer asked that I drop some money to commence investigation. How heartless can someone be, demanding money from a youth corper who had just lost 40k. Anyways, i just have it up as one of the few losses that happens. |
