Ukraine wan Dey use hin citizens form...he is just endangering their life’s...they are no match to Russia
Is Ukraine the one starting the war?
So Ukraine and his citizens should hands down and run away as Russia invades?
Why hasn't your president and your fellow Nigerians run away from Nigeria or surrendered to the invading BokoHaram and bandits?
Some of you here on Nairaland are plainly stupid. You just talk without thinking.
Ukrainians are not cowards you people want them to be. Even if the loss, they have proven that to the world.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine: Putin's Miscalculations Could See Him Strike Harder by CharleyBright(m): 8:24pm On Mar 01, 2022
Ok.
After Ukraine which country will be next?
Ukraine is not the first country he is annexing, neither will it be the last.

Some of you people supporting Russia and hating the US on Nairaland are very willing to sleep in US embassy everyday to beg to secure visa to go to the US, but you hate the US.
And may God not allow Boko Haram and ISIS to over run Nigeria, because the same US and UK you people are hating is the same countries you will beckon for help, not Russia or China.
Hypocrites all round.
Between two devils, choose who is the better evil.

When I read comments of some people supporting Putin and Russia on Nairaland, I shake my head in disbelief.

Irony is a typical situation where some lowlifes in Nigeria hate everything about the US, make posts about how the US is the cause of their woes, and they support Russia against the US, and the following day they scurry to the US embassy to beg to be allowed to go to the US.

Many of you here hating the US have tried severally to get your sorry asses to the US and failed.
Why not go to Russia?
Useless Hypocrites.

Putin Nuclear weapons go kill una soon.
Foreign Affairs › Re: How Americans/nato Started The Ukraine-russia War by CharleyBright(m): 7:57pm On Mar 01, 2022
Some of you people on Nairaland are simply naive.
Putin simply wants regime change in Ukraine. It is not about Ukraine joining NATO.
He simply wants to annex a sovereign country and you people keep coming up with silly justifications because you hate The US.

What is Russian Army also doing having training Military Camps in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua?
These are hostile neighbors of the US.
He is accusing the US of the same thing Russia is guilty of
If Putin has issues with the US, why not invade the US?
Is Ukraine the US??

If Russia unveils their worst, they'll bring Ukraine down to dust.
Which worst are they yet to bring?
Who goes to war and be practicing?
The truth is ... Putin and Russia didn't expect what they are getting from Ukraine. The highly inferior Ukraine army have fought and resisted them gallantly and killing Russian top ranking officers.
Just simply commend Ukraine army.

Last Las when Putin is so frustrated and sees he is not winning the war so easy, he will want to use Nuclear weapon to destroy himself and the world (including you supporting him) to save face.
Foreign Affairs › Re: The Most Dangerous Man In Russia General Magome Killed By Ukraine Forces by CharleyBright(m): 1:23pm On Mar 01, 2022
Good.
He died foolishly fighting a lost cause for evil Putin in his mad quest for more power.
I commend the people of Ukraine for their unwavering Bravery. They stood in unison and fought Putin and his army.
Putin thought with his powerful army he will overcome Ukraine within a day. But in over 5days they are yet to capture Kyiv upon all their Arsenals.
Kudos to the Ukrainian armies.
Even if they lose, the world will remember that they fought bravely with their might and killed the Russian too ranking armies too.
Sports › Re: This Is Discriminatory: Russia Football Union Head To CAS Over Suspension by CharleyBright(m): 1:09pm On Mar 01, 2022
CAS won't answer them. The world is against Putin for his actions.
Make Russian citizens and Football Association save their energies and force Putin to stop his senseless bullying of another country.
Putin and Russian will be so hit with economic and socio-political sanctions that Russia will go on her knees and the Russian citizens will have to revolt against Putin govt.
Now that the US and EU have banned Russia from using Dollar and Euros to trade, that will affect Russia's ability to buy or sell in international market.
More sanctions coming to hit him bad. Russia economy will crumble without a shot being fired at it by NATO and US.
The evil man thinks he can force a regime change in Ukraine and the world will just stand by and watch, and then he will boldly move to do same in Poland, Finland and Norway that are his neighbors and NATO members.

Zelensky want to sacrifice Ukrainians for proxy war
Immediately releasing prisoners and arming civilians while Ukrainian male ate running to avoid being forced to join army

Take time and watch,it worth your time from a known source in Ukraine capital kiev hint on the YouTube video
Is very educative for those pushing the comedian president to sacrifice his people for proxy
1,most Ukrainian men are fleeing Ukraine to avoid been forced into Ukrainian army

2,zelensky wants this war so bad that he won't mind causing humanitarian crisis because of it

3,Russia motive for the invasion is not to destroy Ukraine but regime change and recognition of Crimea which is on progress

4 American and pro western trolls expecting Russia to destroy social amenities in Russia before they understand that Russia have achieve their aim

5 unlike USA invasion of Syria,Iraq,Libya which they bomb and destroy social amenities,
Ukraine still have working internet,electricity
Bank working, which means Russia are civil in handling of the crisis while enciring it

6,Russia motive is to capture Ukrainian army and not to destroy Ukraine

7,most of Ukrainian war generals graduated from Russia war college

8,media propaganda by the west is just to invite Ukrainian against Russia, cos most Ukrainian are also evacuating to Russia

9,Russia army withraw whenever they meet resistance, not because they can't forcefully capture Ukraine but the newly recruit orientation was base in military drill
Meaning the real invasion haven't started

10,Ukraine are more close and bloody related to Russia

11,zelensky should put the life of Ukrainian first and maintain neutrality as every party signed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vdiEABLFoo
I truly don't get your drift.
You seem to be particularly blaming Ukraine for defending themselves in the war and exonerating Russia for starting the war. How bias of you.
So Ukrainians should run for their lives while Putin overrun their country and force a regime change?
It pains some of you that Russia isn't finding this war an easy one and the Ukrainians have proven to be brave and a hard nut to crack.
Economic and Socio- Political sanctions are flying on Russian heads. Putin will be squeezed to his knees and he will regret starting a war he can't win.
Idiotic of him to tell the whole world that he wants regime change in Ukraine.
And you Continue to type gibberish to support Putin on Nairaland.
You all will be put to shame.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russian Soldiers Abandoned Their Vehicles, Run For Cover From Ukraine Forces by CharleyBright(m): 7:22am On Mar 01, 2022
The fact that Russian Army are unable to gain access to Kyiv or overrun Ukrainian army after 5days of fighting speaks volumes.
Putin and his large and well equipped Russian Army thought they would overcome Ukraine in one day. It was unexpected that Ukraine army would battle the Russian Army almost to a stand still.
If not for anything, I commend Ukrainians for unwavering bravery.
They all stood in unison to fight Russians.
Imagine Russians seeking support from Belarus to fight Ukraine.
Putin has been so frustrated in this war that he is threatening to use Nuclear weapons.
Shame on Putin.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Why Is Russia Not Wining In Ukraine by CharleyBright(m): 8:21pm On Feb 28, 2022
That Russian forces have failed to capture Kyiv after 3days fighting speaks volumes that Ukraine army have battled Russia to a stand point.
Russian had expected its Military strength would overwhelm and overrun Ukraine within hours.
But that is not to be.
If Ukraine gets little assistance from outside, Russian Army invading Ukraine would be pushed back if not annihilated.

And then trouble go start for Nigeria over Russia and Ukraine matter.

Key word here is "final approval". Those in charge of external affairs can recommend a lot. The president only needs to give final approval. I doubt these people are coming up with proposals and the president is turning them down because only southerners are suffering.

Remember how Viola Onwuliri made it expensive to mess with Nigerians when she was at the foreign ministry?
Does your President jetting out on 2weeks private visit to France now makes sense especially at a time some Nigerians are trapped in Ukraine?
Does it shows he is concerned?

Where is your president as of today?

Is he concerned?

So some of you expected the US to quickly jump into Ukraine and start fighting once Russia made the first move?
Na wa for una ooo.
What do you think Russia Army were doing at the border for weeks before they launched attack?
Drinking coffee and partying?

The Russians had laid booby traps waiting for the US army to come rushing in.
You don't go jumping into a fight in your enemy's compound. He knows the terrain better than u.
I think I commend the US for not falling into the deadly trap. They have credible Intel and had to restrain from engaging as they intended.
The US isn't cowardly not to engage Russia. They took the best decision to restrain.
Military warfare is not all attack and attack. Such can be blind fury that is quite dangerous.
There are moments of decisive caution and restraint. It is tactical.

SUPERPACK:
Sanctions on Russia will still affect people all over the world too by one month time;

Longer travelling time via air

Longer travelling time via sea

Russia will have no option than to sell their oil and weapons to terrorist organisations at a cheap price to survive.

More Russian intelligence agents will seek recruitment in ISIS, Bokoharam, and AlQaeda to earn money.

Tension and possible collisions due to false flag attacks will reduce air passengers.

Gas, fuel and petrol products shortage in europe will lead to mass protest and riots because of massive inflation.

Russian citizens start migrating to safer places causing more refugee congestion.

Massive increase in smuggling in and out of shipments to and from Russia.

American, UK, France billionaires with affiliate companies in Russia gets hit too as a spill out of the sanctions and global sell off of stocks will occur.
You are correct to an extent.
Sanctions always have ripple effects on global economies. Nigeria is already affected.
But right now, Putin is ready for a fight, and we don't want anyone to engage him militarily and plunge the world into a World war. So economic Sanctions is the best way to bring him to his knees for now.
He know the impact of sanctions, and he is bothered by the way the whole world is supporting it.
I think he didn't envisage criticism from majority of countries and even within his fellow Russians.

North korea is still trading internationally with various countries despite sanctions.. you can do your research..
There are levels of Sanctions.
There are low scale, Medium scale and High level sanctions.
The impact of sanctions and how it gives a country breathing space depends on the level of sanction.
The level of Sanctions being imposed on Russia presently is a high level one. The EU, the UN, and the entire world are dishing out all sorts of sanctions. Even FIFA has impose sanction on Russia.
Swift and other financial service providers are imposing sanctions. Sports and Trade merchandizers are blacklisting Russia.
Russia will really find it hard to breathe by next month with the level of sanctions flying on them.
