wise and intelligent men like Afam and mamajama will not show up in this kind of topic to tell us that it is the whitemen's propaganda. if america or britain decide to get involve tomorrow, we will all be bold to say they are out for Diamond but no one is ready to ask what is happening to the people of zimbabwe even with the diamonds on their streets. the question shld be, is zimbabwe better off with the oust of the whites or with the presence of the whites. |
nigeria 1, are u talking bcs u must talk or you are talking bcs u have a point to prove? yar adua accused obj and yar adua accused the last administration means the same. the amount s in question wether $1 or 1million the question remains, does the work done represent the amount involved? if the answer is yes, it mean yar adua and most nigerians are accusing obj falsefully but if the answer is no, it means we were defrauded so the war on corruption can go on or we will continue seeing ribadu and co as weapons of oponents' destruction and obj as a cheat and a fraudstar of the highest order. |
Nuzo, since the sun newspaper does not report the truth, are there newspapers you trust as in recomending them for us? by so doing, you will safe us the pains of reading false news from the sun. on my own, i am ready to believe any news i hear of Obj because he is a criminal. by the way, Nuhu and yar adua has made it compulsory not to probe obj so every body shld learn to leave obj alone no matter his crimes. at least for all the good things he has done for his family, his community, state and nigeria as a whole, sleeping with his son's wife will not be too much for such a living legend(obj). i will suggest yar adua shld equally give him(obj) his daughter(yar adua's daughter) as a way of appreciating his good works. |
his death was good for his image because ribadu would have him behind bars for the rest of his life. he was a terrorist and a fraudstar. don't u know about ITT which Fela translated to International Thief thief. he is was a criminal and he was involved in almost all the coup that took place in nigeria during his time. he was a mother f^ker. |
assuming ribadu is the best living soul, assuming he is the best thing that has happened to nigeria since inception, assuming all claims of selective justice against ribadu are all lies, is ribadu going to die as the chairman of efcc? is it normal that police officers go for courses as was directed y the ig in the case of ribadu? is seating tight in office a culture in nigeria even with reightious men like ribadu? how did ribadu come into power? what is the rationale behind ribadu's inability to probe even a single individual among all those wo served under obj at the national levels? won't it be wise for yar adua to form his own carbinet and work with his own choosen men as was in the case of obj? what does it course to say the truth? where was everybody when okonjo iweala was removed from office? to what extent has ribadu and his efcc reduced the level of corruption in nigeria since his assumption of office? |
my only fear in this matters is why efcc is yet to arrest any federal player. are we all saying the states are more important than this entity call nigeria? what happened in the last eight ( years at the states political scenes were just a shadow of the federal scenes.it is obvious, the war is yet to take the normal shape that will lead us to the promise land and until then, i will like to fold my hands and watch the end of the stories. on the other hand, i am still doubting the justifications of leaving a country as big as nigeria in the hands of a single man who dictates the tunes though he is working with the evil ones at the back ground. it is obvious ribadu is not happy with people like ibb but what is not obvious is why he is still a role model to our young politicians. some pdp characters are too notorious that even the signs are vissible even to the blind yet they remain lords and kings among us. if we look at such men as Adedibu, one will be forced to say Ibori and others can never be addressed as corrupt. what happened to the established case against atiku? i keep on asking if ribadu cannot ascertain the wealth of obj or has he not found anything wrong with a president getting this rich within eight years? ribadu and the key players in this war against corruption have a lot of unanswered questions as saints like el-rufai is today a known criminal but has remained untouched because he lives in the palace of obj. if things continue this way, nigerians will have a reason to reject the war on corruption and embrace the corrupt practices that we are used to which is free for all. obj's deciet ended with the third term bid but the agenda was too hot that ribadu could have made many victims out of it with the movements of money then especially in the houses of senate and reps. the jigawa gov made us known the his state's funds were invested in the third term- so what and why is ribadu saying no to that? yar adua as a gov benefited from the obj gov house illegal sharing in abuja, this our new war on corruption is expected to know the qualifications of beneficiaries and tell us why govs like Orji Uzo Kalu did not benefit from such. another way of interpretting illegal contracts are fraudulent contracts and the war on corruption shld be mearnt to look back at the illegal contracts of obj. ribadu is not far from the dock because mustapha and bamiyi were all like him during the respective times. el-rufai has been linked with some issues so how will that be addressed? |
mamajama, if you are normal, u will not call ibb a tootless general not with all that you mentioned here that he did to nigeria and nigerians. decide today either to accept that he is powerful and a name that nigerians will not forget easily or that he is a toothless general like u said. ibb is known as the maradonna of nigerian politics so is it worthy to say that the football maradonna is a harmless player. all the same, if you know all these information that you have outlined here and you have back ups, why have you not made these known to efcc since u believe in them. you are nothing but a confussed mumu of the highest order. obj ruled for 8 years did and efcc was there and non except have all these details, wow! u are a wonderful mamajama. |
Mamajama, it is not just for talking sake but you are really blind. your mind is really backward. the most unfortunate thing here is that people just come in on any name and of any age and start discussing issues. i think the place section or place for u will be the kiddies avenue. look at how many posts you have on this forum and all have to do with babangida. if you believe that babangida was that bad and obj was such a nice man, why did obj probe ibb? it is a common sense that is either ibb is clean or that obj is a bird of the same feather. sometimes, i want you to reason like a human being instead of an ape. |
yes the unbeaten record continues even after the match at boro. i wonder how people still believe arsenal and their initial gara-gara. believing arenal was a risk i took a couple of years back and very close to heart attack. sometime last arsenal was to change her name heart-breakers FC though the talk is still on table. |
the supper eagles as a team has to be built arround a player and mikel is proving to be the player as ghana 2008 knocks. it used to be arround okocha whose role was to recieve, ditribute and possibly the ball depending on the situation but okocha the magic legs is no longer in the team hence the search for a replacement. looking at mikel in chelsea, he has been serving as the pivot on which the team rotates. he goes for the ball, all balls to him for the intelligent passes from the wonder boy. many critics condemed his move to chelsea claiming he will not see the bench with the quality of players in the team but today, the reverse is the case. the question here now is, will vogts and nigerian fans see mikel as an able player or not? if it is not mikel then who will be there for us in ghana as we cannot afford another play as you like as was experienced in the days of eguavon. |
he was the problem of arsenal at boro. he proved wenger wrong and made southgate proud. |
in all, Ibb is the key. he may be involved directly or indirectly. if under president babangida, such an important journalist could die without a trace of the killers, aso rock will have a lot explanations to make. if ibb did not send tghe killers, why didn't he send police to fetch the killers. the story is the same for bola ige so it is it one (1) point per side. 1 point for the military baba and 1 point for the civilian baba. they have what it takes at their disposals but for their personal reasons nothing was done. even the civilian baba and his police chief keep on flashing people as killers. |
Afam, i am begining to appreciate your concerns about the freedom of palestine and palestine people. i would want to put it straight to you that palestine is calling for a total withdrawal of isreal while the westerners are calling for a peaceful co-existance of the two countries. my question to your mr. afam is: if you have your way, what do you think will be the solution to this problem? |
kidnapping as a made in nigeria product - niger/delta as a case in hand. obj and his abborted third term agenda politics and nigerian intellectuals - maurice iwu as a case study ex-convicts in nigeria's politics - obj as a case study. electricity as a political instrument in nigeria. the above five and many more can make a good project topic that is if you really want to write a project or do u want to copy project? these are some of the topics that you can get resources easily even from market women. but if you want to copy project like others, i will reffer u to project topics written by others. |
orinkihla, if i am not mistaking, i know where u belong. you are like Atiku who remained part of the pdp criminal games till he fall out of favour and only then did he turn back to the masses to shout pdp is corrupt. you have been in the system and you have been enjoying the game until u become out of fashion for the present day politics and now you know that nigeria politics is borring. well to give you the support u need, it is borring especially with the results of elections concluded before elections. another factor here is that the same group of leaders continue their rulling with or without the consent of the masses. it is obvious u are from rivers or somewhere arround there, i will advise you to join the lively game that is if you are not already in it. i am talking about made in nigeria product( kidnapping ) at least that one is not borring. please remember to concentrate on politicians and members of their families. |
if these kidnappers will concentrate on kidnapping members of our politicians' families, it will be a welcomed idea by me. let the politicians continue with their economic kidnaps while the masses continue with their family members kidnaps. since they have decided the make the masses restless, let us design our own ways of making them restless too because there must be a reward for every work. let us make arrangements to kidnap yar adua's mother and give him 3 months to fix electricity or have his mother, if this kidnap is well designed, it can be an effective way of communicating with our leaders and it will be "a made in nigeria product" of which no one will tag it a contra-banned good. if anyone knows the kidnappers here, tell them that as soon as they kidnap his mother, they will tell him 3 months to fix electricity or resign to have ur mother released. it is obvious that protest does not work in nigeria so kidnap will definitely work. |
because we must. this is life, we have to accept it that this is their own time and wether we like it or not we have to look up to them in many aspects of our lives. their policies in many ways affect us with or without our consents. i am surprised that many of us here are saying the world cannot afford another idiot and foolish president in the whitehouse but the most unfortunate thing here is that we have little or nothing to offer in the choice of who americans want as their president be he/her a fool or an idiot. by the way, what is happening in our countries where wise presidents are rulling. if the leaderships of fools and idiots can bring america this far, won't it be nice if we look for idiots and fools to rule us rather than wise ment like obj and co rulling us? i keep on wondering how bbackward we are and our boldness in calling other people fools and idiots or does this show how a mad man will never know how mad he is? if the americans are fools and idiots, i think i will preffer to be an idiot and a foolish man rather than existing among wisemen we claim to be. after God's creations and what, God said, let there be light, and there was light. a people still in darkness to me, are not existing and to prove how dark our brains and minds are, we from the shallows of darkness, call people under light fools and idiots-wow, wonders shall never end. |
the FG has set 2012 as the realistic date to match electricity supply with demand - punch december 2,2007.(http://odili.net/news/source/2007/dec/2/420.html) wow, the waiting continues. obj had earlier set 2007 but what did we achieve with less than a month to go? who is out to guarranttee the patient and helpless nigerians that there is something realistic about this date? who is out to assure nigerians that this vission will not go down the drains like the previous vissions? for how long are we going to wait for all these unending promises? yar adua shld equally let nigerians know how they will know that this vission is different one from what we have been getting and by so doing, he shld tell nigerians that from today till tomorrow, there will be electricity in aso rock and that from next week to next months national stadia will be experiencing uninterupted power supply. for every project, there shld be a time table and observers' hopes are only kept alive when they see things progress according to the time table. it is my wish that this promise will meet the terms and that our own money will be used wisely for our own interests. God bless nigeria. |
we all have to bear in mind that nigerian police get their training from the Mumbai police(india) and they are placed second in the world. it is obvious we need the british not only in the police sector but in several and many other sectors like; agriculture, industries, electricity, leadership and alomost in every sector of our economy as our so called leaders have failed in their 47 years of trials. every gov will start by promises of fixing electricity within 2 years but will end up like the past govs so is time for us to go for change. our problem is pride and pride goes before a fall. if only we can drop our pride and bend down and learn from them, i think nigeria has got all it takes to be there. our mentality and policy making has been the keys to our failures. the only properious industry in nigeria is the "corruption industry" where practically all the leaders, past and present have invested a lot and is serving as a ceo to more than 30 companies. this industry has succeeded in corrupting the incorruptibles and we as a country are sinking deep and deeper on daily bases. we always decieve our selves saying we are improving but the big question remains, in which areas are we improving? our roads are worst today compared to the military days and electricity is no better. the police keep on increasing the legal bribe fees on our roads. politicians keep on getting rich and richer to the detriment of the masses. our elections has become selections. the fear of obj has become the begining of wisdom in nigeria. tauts like adedibu and chris uba have been made the elders and king makers against the wisdom and knowledge of the learned men in our midst. ministers or reputable people like okonjo iweala have no place in our gov rather fake degree holders like andy uba have emerged as the most respectable citizens. we can imagine a country rejecting iweala even with the obvious and landmark achievements of hers while borrishade the failure kept on enjoying his failures from one ministry to the other. where and how are we progressing and at what rate is this progress coming. who said efcc is not aware that practically all our leaders have investments and accounts abroad? a fall out with obj and his group will bring you to the court to defend urself from the allegations of efcc and that is our war on corruption. cases like that of atiku which implicates obj and co has been kept in the refrigderator even when the case has been gazzetted. we are decieving ourselves. |
for writting sake, it is not good but if we want to face reality, we have to consider exactly the conditions of not getting a job and the time frame. girls are mearnt to be supporters and not to let them bear the burden alone. men shld not go for sympathy love where the woman will love u out of sympathy. men must continue trying. the man must remain the man at all times. |
my dear, u mentioned it here that he is ready to do anything for u so why worry urself about him taking care of his sisters. by the way, do u have brothers? how are they close to u? how demanding are u to him? do u believe that girls shld depend more on their brothers to survive or depend on boyfriends or possibly jump from one man to the other to survive. my dear, count urself lucky if his sisters like u. i am ready to let go if u advice me against giving to my sisters. have u thought about their family upbringing. it is advicable that u join him in making his sisters happy and by so doing he will love u the more for doing the things that will make him happy otherwise quite because ur happiness will be short with him if u go into marriage. for me, my sisters are too precious that i will distance myself from u as soon as u mention ur oposition to that. pls do not try changing his mind against his sisters because they could mean happiness to him. |
deor, if they had tried this when he was president, they would have been sent the same place he sent slok airline. they would have had the same experience AIT had for airing the house debate on third term agenda. it is good now and another move will be for those who gave him awards in the past to take them back from him. it will be nice again to send him back to where he belongs(kirikiri). |
why will Iwu resign? has he done anything bad? how many ministers or other political office holders in the last eight years resigned their position for incompetence? the problem with our war on corruption is the idea of leaving objects for shadows. Borrishade was the education minister who was known for messing up the educational system but when the heat was much, obj decided to shift him to the aviation ministry instead of sending him off but as he is a child of doom, he recorded the highest number of airmisharps as if that was not enough for him to resign, he was later shifted to the ministry of culture whatever so it is obvious nobody performed bad enough arround obj to resign. if iwu must resign, it means he performed bad then his products which include yar adua will be deported. if we want to examine the ability of iwu, we have to first of all trace his appointment. by who and for what? if the one who called him is satisfied with his work, then nigerians expect explainations from obj on the responsibilities of the so called prof.Iwu. to me, the man never acted in his capacity as a professor, rather he acted as a loyalist and a paid labourer of which he blew and is still blowing his trumpet in accordiance with the dictates of the man who paid him. if we want to be straight in our ways, iwu is not the problem rather obj otherwise if this iwu resigns today, ten iwus will emerge in his place and all in all, they are shadows and qualified rubber stamps. iwu's seat tight issue is another way of showing how selective our war on corruption has been. how many state govs have been removed via the tribunal and how many inec officials are standing trials at least to show that they aided rigging or influenced the elections with their positions? as long as the idea of remove one iwu introduce ten iwus continues, we will remain where we are on corruption industry. |
my dear which roads and electricity are u talking about? the ones in delta or nigeria as a whole? states and local govs leaders are not our problems, the almighty ibb and obj know the right botton to get us out of these mess. ribadu knows who the problems are. all these ibori, kalu and alms ranings are mere deciets if not federal thief has been probed till date. what can be more corrupt than the deaths of dele giwa and bola ige? if u are looking for funds mearnt for our roads, contact Chief, Eng., Dr., Proffessor Tony Annenih |
mamajama, if there is anything u need at this point, it is psychiatrist(s). it is too early for u to become the judge here on who the adim shld go after. many threads here on nairaland against the evil actions of nigerian leaders will be condemed by you asking us for evidence and reffering us to efcc so what are u waiting for now that you have all it takes to nail babangida and his family? so are u no longer calling such write-ups propoganda? i am still wondering how low reasoning fool like u sometime ago said u don't read nigerian news and who is ur source now? ur source alone is worth sending you to 10 years imprisonment. how come the ottah fool knew less than what u know about this ibb man that he could not do anything to track him down. ribadu and obj proved how cowardise they could be in nailing only the dead abacha among all our past presients. if obj is all his successful wars against corruption in nigeria, could not find anything against ibb, who do u think will do so? maybe ur father? if u are normal and reasonable, u will know that an accused remains innocent until a court of law proves otherwise talkless of man nobody is accussing. your blindness made u not to watch obj's first movie in office as was presented in the oputa panel. mustapha said it all and is still paying for telling nigerians that the ottah fool was not voted for but was selected by the few generals. babangida knew the quality of the movie and decided not to participate and till date the producer(obj) could not do anything. obj was and is still the father of corruption in nigeria. |
yes somebody may be making sense here but let us hear him out. pls poster, who and who are involved in this conspiracy? who is conspiring against who? to discuss this cospiracy issue very well, let us look at the parties involved viz; death, sickness, nigerian leaders and foriegn hospitals. if i am not mistaking here, death must have been conspiring with sickness hence the nigerian leaders will be forced to the foriegn hospitals where the doctors there will apply the killing machines to do the finishing touches. what a wonderful contribution in our efforts to prove how the whites hate the blacks. if i may ask u mr. poster, can't our leaders fix medical facilities in nigeria? death is the ultmate end and it is for all otherwise, the poor will not have a place in nigeria. you can imagine how almost everything is contra-band in nigeria and the rich politicians or your leaders as you address them will always fly abroad to run away from death but good a thing, death will always meet u where ever u run to. this death that triger ur suspicion now took place abraod because he ws rich and could afford flight ticket, what about the helpless and poor citizens of nigeria dying on daily bases our of hardship caused by your so called leaders. what a shame that they even die abroad and if i may suggest, let them be buried abroad whenever they die there. i am here to tell u that they can run away but they cannot hide. |
we cannot do things on our own and that is the gospel truth and events in the past 47 years have confirmed that. someone said the british police is not efficient but he failed to say who is. if yar adua is ready to swallow his pride and go for the british police, it will help us not only in recieving knowledge from them but it will also help us in developing our infrastuctural base as the british police cannot work under the present conditions of nigeria. i know the british police surely will need computers and electricity as pre-requisites to operate in nigeria and by so doing, yar adua will be forced to change his mentality on electricity and its relevance. nigerians and africans as a whole are proud people and we preffer to die in silence to accepting our mistakes. nigerian police are under-equiped and inexperienced. mjority of the policmen in nigeria are not computer litrate so is it possible analyse things on the computers assuming the computers are there? if we really need development and progress in our lives, the help of the whites will not be overlooked. |
aso rock is the key. sanitize aso rock and everyother sector will seat up. if all ministries are not accounting for their spendings, why do u want the sports ministry to account for theirs. be informed that they are all accounting but the question will be to who are they accounting for. remember 99.99% of appointments and positions are not by merit but by selection based on your readiness to play along. so they are all been accountable to the authorities that select them . |
Champred, yes i accept to be examined mentally because existing in nigeria alone worth going for mental test. we are 47 years old accepting the fact that we can not reverse the colonisation but what has happened within the 47 years of idenpendence? is it possible that people of normal mentality like you preffer darkness for light? the bottom line is that some people are still-born and whenever there is a premature delivery, it calls for incubator. we are not yet matured enough to take care of ourselves. in words, we do not need the whites but in practice, how many of us in nairaland are based in nigeria? how many of our so called leaders have their investments in nigeria or even other african countries? why do we continue depending on them? is it not obvious that most of our slogans are propoganda used by the so called elites to get our consents in driing away of the whites only to turn us into prey. at the end of the day, the nigerian police is now inviting the british police to come and reform them. in which areas of our lives are we sound enough to handle? Mugabe seeked the consents of the zimbabwians in sending the whites aways from zimbabwe and today he has turned to feed on the citizens and a waring country is better than zimbabwe but initial deciept showed he had the interests of his people at heart. abacha will always remind the western world that nigerians can take care of themselves but in realities were we doing so? we are afraid of the whites looting our resources but to what extent have these resources changed our lives on the positive side? in a place where known thieves are rulers. in a place where people kill to rule. where results are announced before elections. a place where proffessors do unholy and inhumane things as we saw in Iwu's april polls. for those with sound minds, i demand a count of blessings here because from my side of observations, we drove them from our places and followed them to their places to enslve ourselves by engaging ourselves in all forms of odd jobs just to make ends meet while the joy of our resources have ended up in the house of the few opportuned politicians. |
bankole, thanks for ur observations which are well noted. back to class. Chavez's oil today has become a condition for everyone to accept whatsoever he says and wants. if america objects, he will cut the supply of oil so it is important that america accept whatsoever the man wants. we can look at the reforms. we can link it to obj's third term bid. we can link it to mugabe's power shift reforms which gives him the power to appoint the next president. the common relationship between chavez, mugabe and our own obj is the ambition to die on the seat of power. in chavez's case, he wants to be the president of venezuela till 2050 when he will be 95 years. why can't a leader go after 8 to 10 years? why changing constitution to suit self? why must a leader die on seat? |
did her constituency put her there? you shld be asking obj what she is doing in the house. criminals are like that. they lack shame no matter how serious issues are. i wonder what efcc is waiting for all these while. i have this assumption that efcc is more active at state levels than the federal levels and it is not supposed to be so. federal thieves have been enjoying their loots while a few state thieves are been harrassed. |
yes someone nominated him and people have been doing in the past for the other awards he has but the rejection is what matters which goes a long way to express the feelings of the school for his deeds. if i may ask, was it not the same issue with third term where obj claimed that someone or some people wanted him to continue yet some of us stood up to say no. someone nominated ibb to continue in 1993 and some people say no. in 1998 abacha was equally nominated and like the obj's award rejection, we in our fears still rejected him. outwardly, it appears someone nominates them but in reality, they work underground for those awards. history will not be interested in the man who nominated the ottah farm man but history will never forget the man who was bold enough to say no to the former kirikiri prisons inmate for a honourable award. shame to obj no wonder yar adua, is reversing most of his contracts, policies and decissions. |
