I honestly disagree with that aspect of the story. IT guys can't afford to try that, they'd end up with 10 page CVs cheesy

Jeez! I'll start with the permanent banning of spammers and scammers, ip blocking for consistent spammers, banning of cyberbullies and post seekers, then i'll do some clowning like renaming id's to garri, eba, fufu, and some crazy names. I won't forget to reduce all post counts above 500 to 5! (don't ask whether it's possible) and when i'm going to bed, i'll shut the site down so everyone can go to bed too, no addiction! grin

I wish I had a voter's card. Even though Jimi Agbaje has no political experience, i'd rather vote for a greenhorn than vote for certified wastrels grin that's if the votes counted (selection and election are two worlds apart!)
Politics / Re: Pastors As Political Godfathers by Christino(m): 7:37pm On Mar 27, 2007
I'm sure the pastors didn't invite them, it's just that politicians are so desperate, they are targetting popular pastors with large congregations. They'll soon visit TB Joshua and Kumuyi grin

Pastors will only err when they declare publicly who they intend to vote for. Make no mistake, 80% of their followers will follow their lead!

I understand Chris Oyakhilome has declared NO TO OKOTIE! That's also unfair.

Computers / Re: Starcomms Vs Multilinks: Which Is Better For Internet Access? by Christino(m): 5:14pm On Mar 27, 2007
Forget Starcomms and their Evdo scam, run on to multilinks. They say it costs 15k per month but in reality you can spend 10k per month yet make 8k worth of phone calls out of the total 10k. Starcomms is good when it comes to QoS and bonanzas but internet, forget it.

@ Instinct,

Where do you reside? Evdo may not work in Bizl's area and if it does he could be getting as low as 11kbps which should be reported to the EFCC! grin

@ Seun,

Is it multilinks or is it that your sent packets are now more than ur received packets?

Business / Re: Commercial CD And DVD Duplication And Printing by Christino(m): 5:01pm On Mar 27, 2007
@ Seun,

Most of the cds out there have a poor quality. Usually, they sell for about 25 naira per cd if purchased in bulk. Furthermore, the Cd covers sell for at least 15 to 20 naira if purchased in bulk so we can budget 45 naira per cd and 90 box for 2 cds. The plastic jack housing two cds costs about 30 naira as well. Colour printing on those jacks cost about 3naira (not too sure here) so we have rougly 125 naira per cd. If you get a laser cd printer, you definitely don't need the cd cover and dat'd be saving you an extra 10 box or so. Thermal printers print on good cds, you may need 3 or four samples of your cover design on different cds before going for the "best fit".

Your headache should be marketing/distribution cos those people have a big mouth, commission is key. If you do your research well, the overall cost of producing two "well packaged" cds in one needn't cost more than N105.00.

I've done year CDs for schools in the past, though I used quality cds and cd covers (more expensive but very neat) I didn't spend up to 170 box on 2 cds and it wasn't mass production.
