@ Kit, Can u imagine, I was at Ijora Oloye yesterday for a friend's Islamic Wedding and I saw a registeration centre somewhere around only to get there and be told I have to vote in my LGA of residence. I just thanked the guy and walked away. Person wey wan commit suicide wey una come give rat poison as xmas gift. I ain't voting - no matter the threat. I understand they've started threatening people who do not register, na so dem do the last time, my voter's card still dey kampe! |
Igwe scoring can't make headlines anymore. It's stale gist whenever, wherever cos everyone expects him to score at least once in every other game. |
I guess Gani has a 3rd too, but Jim Ovia has a 1st ![]() |

That's if he doesn't stop handing the penalty kicks to RVP. That dude's as hungry for goals as anything else, he should be sent to rescue Alan Pardew's job instead. ![]() |
David Jones (Man U) to Derby County (1 million) Anthony Stokes (Arsenal) to Sunderland (2 million) Matt kilgallon (Leeds) to Sheffield United (1.75 million) Nigel Quashie (WBA) to West Ham (1.5million) Paul Ifil (Sheffield United) to Crystal Palace (750k) Phil Bardsley (Man U) to Aston Villa (loan) Adam Eckersley (Man U) to Barnsley (loan) Alcides (Chelsea) to PSV (loan) Djimi Traore (Charlton) to Portsmouth (1million) Jon Stead (Sunderland) to Sheffield U (750k) Rowan Vine (Luton) to Birgmingham (2.5million) Daniele Padelli (Sampdoria) to Liverpool (Loan) Eric Djemba-Djemba (Aston Villa) to Burnley (loan) Djamel Abdoun ( AC Ajaccio) Manchester City (Loan ) Alan Thompson (Celtic) Leeds United (Free ) James Simmonds (Chelsea) Cardiff City (Loan ) Mamadou Seck (Le Havre) Sheffield United (Free ) Neil Shipperley (Sheffield United) Free Released Luton Shelton (Helsingborg) Sheffield United (£2,000,000 ) David Weir (Everton) Rangers (Free ) Lauren (Arsenal) Portsmouth (Undisclosed ) Calum Davenport (Tottenham) West Ham (Undisclosed ) Christino's Verdict: Portsmouth is fast becoming Arsenal's recycle bin for players who are no longer needed by the management. With the way things are going, let's hope someday we see the likes of Rosicky, Hleb and Toure play for Pompey too ![]() Sheffield are really recruiting, hope all these 2-2 millions can do the trick ![]() Uncle SAM isn't buying Desailly out of retirement no more? And Chelsea are still trying Ben Haim, Young is giving Watford a hard time after rejecting a 10 million pound bid from West Ham, there's a fresh 8m bid from another club now, hope he takes it. Man U have placed 20million pounds under Bayern's nose but they aren't releasing Owen till the summer. And to top it all, Milan are interested in Ronaldo after Inter Milan have won all of their last 12 matches setting a new italian record. They are unbeaten so far this season with 16 wins and three draws. Cheers. |
4.48 Haba, sorry about that, if something can be done about it fine, but those Lecturers are bad belles and "saddists" giving a first class is like emptying their bank accounts, only the violent take it, of course by force. You shoulda seen it coming anyway. I gave up all hopes of a glorious first in my second year (and i'm glad I did) because no one made it in my department at the crazy end of the day, so instead i spent valuable time in software development, extreme hip hop and game testing from Unreal tourney to Age of Empires (the conquerors), Half Life, USM98, Commandos, Quake and any reasonable PC game out there. Afterall 4.49 and 3.5 mean the same!I have a 3rd class friend who's raked in #2.3m in 16 months so far, "working from home" and that's brain man! Does 1st class really matter? Yes and No. Yes if you are lucky, can recognize/seize opportunities and have a great bargaining power. No if you don't know your worth. Don't be surprised some first classes are out there looking for a "better" job. It's a "favour"(not labour) market though and the best ain't always the richest. Press your department for your 0.02 points (man it's a whole lotta point) and no one wants to hear the story of how you almost made it but never did. If you are in the IT field, your first class ain't bad but you need to add value to yourself, specialise in one of the various fields and start writing your professional exams. Without this, OND holders (or people with NIIT diplomas) will rule you ![]() |

A Pastor met a police man on the Road. A careful look at the engine no.against what was on paper revealed that letter U was written in such a way that it could be mistaken for V. That was all the police needed to shout "stolen vehicle, the pastor called the OC to say he was a priest to which the officer replied if you are a pastor read Matthew 5:25, 26,The Pastor opened to the recommended passage and read:"Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to a judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.I tell you the truth you will not get out until you have paid the last penny. The man of God quietly made an "offering" of N100 to his newly found preacher. |

@ Nigeria1 Permit me to say that you have made the biggest mistake on Nairaland How dare you count the houses in Kano? Flies don't live in houses, neither do cattle. Groundnuts abound in storage media and you are talking houses? About 7 million Kano residents live underground, some live in the water, others are invisible Flies live in the toilets and goats in barns, didn't your sattelite pick those, are they not Kano residents as released by Makama? Please get your facts right ok? @ Makama faithfuls, are you with me? don't mind Nigeria1, he's only hating, he wants a share of Makama's "money" let's accept this result with an open mind, animals are part of the world aren't they?Abi na today yansh dey for back? THey have said that Kano is more populated than Lagos, we have more Men than women, Lagos has more goats than Sokoto. . . . E don do! ![]() |
I pray Portsmouth/Bolton win the premiership someday, hopefully twice in a row, most of our beloved NL fanatics will lose their fanatism overnight and give 'mouth-watering" excuses for changing clothes. As for me, i'm wearing 888.com for as long as Yak is there, cup or no cup ![]() |
George Weah, no disputing, but someday, it'll be Martins - watch out! |
