OBJ can't leave until the results of the elections are out, in fact, he has to hand over to a democratically elected president and not an interim government, so if the elections are postponed till after the 2010 world cup, he'll remain in the office for as long as that. Una never halla reach ![]() Carry on Uncle Sege ![]() |
Sadly i couldn't get the mp3 free, the lyrics can be found here: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/boyziimen/ohwell.html Now Back to Topic. Has he been executed yet? |

A middle aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience Seeing God, she asked, “is my time up”? God said ‘”No you have another 43 Years, 2 months and 8 days to live” Upon recovery the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a facelift, liposuction and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color. Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God she demanded, I thought you said I had 40 years, why didn’t you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?” GOD replied………. I did not recognize you! The Bible says we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. |

Guys, Sorry for the delay, there's a tie, and i'm trying to get the 3rd judge again, as well as hear from the jury. Sorry for the delay, in order to forestall any more dissappointments, let's wait till Wednesday, 23:00hrs. |
nigeria1:Seconded Sir, in fact he should be sentenced to death by hanging if found guilty ![]() |
@ Lady T, whoever said reverend king should not be punished ![]() Can't you read? or should i type in our native language didn't you do comprehension/Essay in school? read ahead, i summarized my intentions some posts away, you are too lazy to read/comprehend "dumb" posts aren't you, it takes a wise man to understand anyway, common sense is not common - no hating, no offence! ![]() He's just one of 100 and the judges expect me to jump up like you? I need to see more justice, the people that should join his hang ropes are living large on the money that woulda made his "stupid" members independent instead of depending on King but are above the law, they won't even show up in the court! Can't you see? I don't follow the crowd, I see the world from my rear view mirror, obviously not the way u do ![]() Chief Radiant, how dey go dey go? |
If it's equal to the cost, you should get a first class (for economy) seat instead and forfeit the other two tickets. ![]() |
Africa's 50 most populous cities: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_populous_cities_in_Africa But i'll list the first 50: City Country City Population Urban Area Population Urban Area Rank (World) City Population Rank (World) Urban Area Rank (Africa) City Population Rank (Africa) Lagos Nigeria 8,029,200 9,123,200 27 15 2 1 Cairo Egypt 7,764,700 15,546,100 10 17 1 2 Kinshasa Democratic Republic of the Congo 6,301,100 7,527,500 5 24 3 3 Alexandria Egypt 3,806,300 4,345,800 62 39 6 4 Casablanca Morocco 3,344,300 3,344,300 95 49 11 5 Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire 3,310,500 3,972,300 70 51 7 6 Kano Nigeria 3,248,700 3,519,500 88 53 10 7 Ibadan Nigeria 3,078,400 3,670,400 78 54 9 8 Cape Town South Africa 2,686,000 3,086,600 107 62 12 9 Addis Ababa Ethiopia 2,638,500 2,638,500 132 67 16 10 Giza Egypt 2,541,000 2,541,000 140 74 17 11 Nairobi Kenya 2,510,800 3,043,100 108 76 13 12 As you can see from here, Kano trippling it's growth rate to topple lagos is "unthinkable" and "unpredictably false" |
@ Naijafan Error is deeply regretted and has been corrected, sorry for the oversight. Thanks. |
Mohammed Kallon is Mukina's Immam, infact She used to shuttle between Medina and Inter Milan back then ![]() |
@ Texxapette, Tonyblu answered you as per my first question, Now the second, what don't you understand about scapegoat? a scapegoat suffers for the evils of other goats!!! cos he's the GOAT that was caught in the act! Your analogy does not tally here cos he did not go out into the streets to pick those guys, they are people under him. I can't say they were stupid (his church members or better still his worshippers), he is their God and can do whatever he likes with them, forgetting that they have people. I'm not saying his punishment was wrong, what i'm saying is he may deserve the death sentence, but hanging is not it! Secondly, there are many people wandering freely and the hands of the law are just too short to catch them! Going by your analogy too, if IBB ordered that your Dad be blown up in the "Popular Plane Crash" you'd be so happy about Rev. king's predicament while IBB declares his intention 2 rule over you ![]() If you say Tafa is "simply" a thief (his theifery has led to more deaths than Rev King could have possibly DREAMED of) and in my own religion (don't ask me!) sin is sin, be it murder or covetousness because there is no sin that cannot lead to outright death. It all boils down to intention! Thank you so much, now I believe IBB is "simply a killer" while Rev King is "complicatedly a burner" ![]() LMAOO! |
Nkem Owoh, who can beat him? I'll pick okey bakassi before Mr Ibu. |
@ Topic, No doubt they've counted the north + rams Alimosho local government territory houses about 4 million lagosians let alone the other parts of Lagos. We need more space to the extent that the borders are occupied, the lagoon, the ocean front, even Ogun state is complaining of encroachment. Traffic is as heavy as ever. But let's leave all these speculations. Lagos was a former FCT, is a dumping ground for any kind of product worldwide, is a target for fresh investors (there's hardly a company in Nigeria without its major branch or HQ in Lagos, VI especially), has more employment opportunities than anywhere else (centre of excellence). All these yarns that a man has 10 wives and 600 kids is all but falacy they musta counted the cattle and their unborn calves as well as eggs of chickens , if that was the case, then places like Kenya, Togo and Sudan should tripple nigeria's population. Lagos competes with the likes of Mumbai, Cairo and Bangalore in terms of population density but I honestly believe the results are just too fake. Even international bodies will begin to doubt. Another implication that all these Governmental organizations are b**ches. INEC is the next "joker" as this one is just an indication of how the elections will go, get ready for another shock result (INEC are experts at inflating results )IMOO, lagos has nothing less than 17 million "permanent" residents and maybe another 6 million temporary residents, this result is just a Joke or another means of getting more allocation to the north. Let them keep decieving themselves, a fowl knows how many chickens she hatched from her eggs. |
@ Barika De sala. Obviously you don't understand essay/comprehension, the bottomline of my senseless long posts: Rev. King does not know his way! or He is not useful to politicians ![]() You mean dem Al-Mustapha and co have not been tried? Jesu Oyingbo is dead by the way only God knows but he must be an archaic man like King, must done worse things! It's just eye service to show us they are doing their job. Big names don't spend more than 6 months in jail before they are released, like Tafa, and Biggest dogs like Mohammed Abacha are just untouchable They are the sick ones not us ![]() Sentence served is suitable, but we really need more of that starting from the people we already know, (are you one of them? Are you okay now? |

Wow, @ d time when that hit was released, the in-thing in naija was "TAPES" as a matter of fact, i never saw the CD else, i'd have the .rmj file today (i used Real Player then). I had the tape but you know what becomes of them when u play them on messed up cassette players. I'll c what i can do, but Nel hit west Africa and Africa with that. i guess he even won a Kora for that? |
@ Texapette? Sir, You said "You guys have a point: he's not the only killer out there. but we can't let that excuse stop us from prosecuting and punishing the ones we lay hands on." We laid hands on Al Mustapha, Sgt Rogers, Clifford Orji amongst others. What's delaying justice for years now? A child that was born when we arrested them is now in JSS2. Okay King is a political nonentity, others are useful for retrieving foreign stolens. OMG! what a mess, we need to bargain with Mohammed Abacha to get our money from his father's accounts, isn't that justice? FYI, past presidents have siphoned over $500billion since independence, where the hell are they. If those zillions of naira were utilized in economic development, King wouldn't have such hungry idiots live at his mercy. What about Jesus of Oyingbo who impregnated his daughters as well as his grand daugthers? What about Sat Guru Maharaj who's still living large in Ibadan? Man, I can't help but laugh at the kind of publicity this stuff has received. Tafa Balogun was a "GREAT" icon, how many civillians died from "stray bullets" during his time and how much the police force raided innocent people due to unpaid and low salaries? What did the court do? May be we need to be more transparent next time, this guy is just a scapegoat. Babangida did not show up at the Oputa panel "due to security reasons" (above the law) and Dele Giwa and other hundreds of death hang on his neck. If your father was one of those who lost their lives then you won't be tripped by what the Judiciary is doing to "Lowly" civillians while the "Rich, big dogs" get away freely. There should be death by "setting on fire" since there's hanging, firing squad, lethal injection and "beheading" . I ain't impressed one bit, I'm not concerned one inch. All na "arrangy" like Baba Fela dey talk. They killed his mother, yet they are the ones ruling now, infact OBJ's handing over to another Yar'Adua. Whatever happened to justice in those days sef. ![]() Sisi Radiant , r u feelin me |
(Hisses) Bunch of hypocrites!!!. If sin is sin, then no one deserves to be alive, not even the president and the judge who sentenced him, all bunches of hyporcrites. I hate the state and the law itself, because there are people above the law. Where's IBB, where's clifford orji, where's mohammed abacha, where's al mustapha, where's Sergeant Rogers, where are Ige, Funso williams and Daramola's political killers, what are the Cultist Hitmen still doing on the campuses, killing like they are commandos? this is just one injustice to cover up for so many, I ain't tripping. Nonsense ![]() They'll only make that gaddem dude a martyr by hanging him, i said life jail is okay. Just to show how archaic we are, can't they give him lethal injection, when are we gonna grow up, trailing Iraq in judiciary system. Comparing the killings of tens to the killings of millions. I'm surprised the educated ones are impaired by this silly verdict too. Damn, a rapper out there gotta hit them below the belt, and why the heck did Fela have to go |
@ Toosyno, Where've u been man, hustling not good for your health! ![]() |
@ Tosh, I no be gunner but abeg, try hide this pix, haba after conceding 9 goals to 18 year olds in 4 days, you still get this kind liver, for once, you are walking alone o!Since 19Gbogboro Liverpool don bone premiership title, they've been pursing cups and now the likes of Hoyte have pursued Dudek into extinction and Liverpool out of two cup runs and you still get liver to dig this picture up, Okay na consolation,it's needed, accept my condolences. Hope you use Dudek when you meet Yak, it's been long since that dude scored a hatrick ![]() |
@ Gaby, I understand you, but what do you have to say about Al Ittihad, Qatari clubs and even Chelsea? |
@ Imani, There wouldnt be much public interest if it was Diouf or Kevin Davies ![]() Diouf has good lips and can spit, Zidane has good "head" and can head butt ![]() |
@ Just, I was out for good until i saw your incorrigible reply, no one asked you to kiss asses. You've listened to duplicators in the naija scene and not one of them was qualified to probe your mind into setting up a thread and after giving you as many samples as i can, you still held on to your sole view of a scapegoat and you expect me to believe there isn't more to it, claiming others had duplicating licenses? I am not a modey fan. When an artiste works hard enough to earn Naija more Rep, i guess he deserves much more respect than what you give. My fave naija artistes are Fela, Lagbaja and Sound Sultan and their theme is basically Afro Beat and they play musical instruments. My latest love now is GT (Guiter Man) of the Storm Records crew. He plays the guitar too, i love naija artistes who play instruments and "make sense". Among contemporary naija artistes, Sound Sultan is my best. I've known Modey like i've known Cashman Davies & co, nothing spectacular only that when you make mistakes, it's great learning skills to admit them. There's more power in an open hand than a clenched fist.I can't keep wasting valuable time telling you there are more wannabes than was initially anticipated. It's so clear you are the only one who can't see that. How can one person be a Jay-z, Nas, Rakim and at the same time McLyte's wannabe, are we growing tails here Only an educated comment from you can bring me back to this thread again, i'm out for real. I'M OUT, see you at the sports thread where you's a guru instead. ![]() |
Everybody is quick to yarn now thinking it's justice. Saddam was hanged, Rev King to be hanged, when are the likes of Babangida et al gonna respond to the law or even appear before the court of law if ALMIGHTY SADDAM could be made to show up for his excesses. And you are all here happy to see a scapegoat, i pity sha. Where tha heck is clifford orji? A political ritualist? I guess most o ya'll don't know the colour of justice. Many of these youths have been caught stealing (trying to earn a living) and have been burned to death or sentenced to firing squad in a country plundered by greedy and wicked leaders (who are still roaming the streets as big dogs and godfathers) and a paltry Rev. King who killed "a few" souls is being sentenced to death and it's good news all over the streets ![]() Until we bring the untouchables to book, then will justice make sense to a commoner like me. All this na bobo and paparazzi, the man sef i'm sure will only get a life sentence. His crime is not in the same league as that of Saddam's or treason. Even the commonwealth won't support it so let's wait and see. NAIJA Rocks ![]() |
@ Bgees I dey feel your screen name, abeg you get any bee gees album, i'm looking for this track "Still waters run deep" and I'll pay you 50 cents for it ![]() |
He'll prolly get a life sentence after the appeal. You wana bet? |
