Alimosho local government territory houses about 4 million lagosians let alone the other parts of Lagos. We need more space to the extent that the borders are occupied, the lagoon, the ocean front, even Ogun state is complaining of encroachment. Traffic is as heavy as ever. Lagos was a former FCT, is a dumping ground for any kind of product worldwide, is a target for fresh investors (there's hardly a company in Nigeria without its major branch or HQ in Lagos, VI especially), has more employment opportunities than anywhere else (centre of excellence).
All these yarns that a man has 10 wives and 600 kids is all but falacy they musta counted the cattle and their unborn calves as well as eggs of chickens , if that was the case, then places like Kenya, Togo and Sudan should tripple nigeria's population. Lagos competes with the likes of Mumbai, Cairo and Bangalore in terms of population density but I honestly believe the results are just too fake. Even international bodies will begin to doubt.
