I understand your choice of balling in a low risk yielding asset, however there are other platforms that will offer 95% risk free investment.

Take FBN mutualfund for example.
although I don't know what their current rate is like, but I do know it would be way better than a miserly 13% offered now in T.bills judging by their December fact sheet, and FBN Mutual fund is relatively very safe! (95%)

so weigh your options nevertheless.

Forget the Short selling . It only work if u decide to SELL and not INVEST again or SELL and wait for RATE to INCREASE/DROP again.which is time consuming and not guarantee

1) : bought at 17.3 and sold at 15.6 Then 2wk or 2mths later buy again at 15.6 ..if the rate doesnt drop .

2) buy at 17.3...sale at 15.60 then u start praying for next auction bid to fall 15.10 so u can buy again ? what if it takes 2-4mth for rate to drop significantly ? 2-4mth someone else is getting 13%

3) factor in how long it might take for rate to drop significally ? could take 2weeks to 3mth what if the rate become stable at the price u sold it ealier ?

SARS for awka bad now, u know how many times dem dey raid my area for unizik? Omo dem dey pack men on a monthky basis. Usually when its getting to Christmas like this, my waka for awka na one one leg o. especially night waka. I was very lucky to escape them MULTIPLE times. those SARS akwuzu are cold hearted, the story of them dumping bodies in the river is not a new news anymore na fact. it seems first bank don tire for me and my Tbills renewal. Another day, another disappointment. wanted something close to 180 days but was offered 284days at 15%, haba! such a poor rate to complement the tenor, I declined mbok!.

It seems they are giving me greenlight not to continue Tbills, even got one officer suggesting I part some of the cash and do F.deposit. I am getting pissed with my to and fro journey to the bank.
