I wonder what some of you guys drink at times! Why should the thought even arise in your head in the first instance? She's married for crying out loud. There are hundreds of single ladies out there to choose from. Leave married ladies alone. |
Hypocrisy. Isn't this man not part of those who called for the removal of Jonathan for something far less? Because he's not facing the security challenges that most Nigerians are facing, he can now talk thrash. |
Megabig:Funny thing is, these same so called innocent masses would still vote these same crooks into power at the next opportunity just like they did overwhelmingly with Buhari. I always think at times that the Nigerian masses deserve what they go through until they learn to use their heads. |
Domestic airlines have increased the cost of air fare from N50,000 to N75,000 for economy seats and N130,000 for business class. This development comes following the scarcity and increase in cost of Jet A1, also known as aviation fuel to N800 per litre. Domestic operators have complained how fuel cost consumes over 60 percent of operation costs and findings reveal that airlines like Air Peace spend over N100 million daily on fuel due to its large fleet, while Dana Air was spending over N50 million. A look at the websites of the airlines show that to book economy seats on Air peace for a 6.30am flight from Abuja to Lagos cost N75,000, while a passenger can only access a N65,000 ticket from 9pm. On Arik Air website, 6.30am flight for an economy seat from Lagos to Abuja, cost N93,452, while a business class ticket for the same time and destination cost N132,976. On Azman Air, an economy flight ticket from Abuja to Kano for 2pm, cost N94,835, while a flight for 6pm on the same day, cost N75,000. For Max Air, flights from Abuja to Lagos from 2pm, cost N75, 000 for economy seats and it is the same for United Nigeria airlines. Daily Sun had predicted last week that air fares may increase to over N65, 000 after Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) wrote the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), demanding 25 percent fuel surcharge. Ia letter to the director general, NCAA, Captain Musa Nuhu, dated July 18, 2022 and signed by its President, Abdumunaf Sarina, the association said the proposal to introduce fuel surcharge is to cushion the effect of the situation. The association is also asking that taxes should be based on the fare due to airlines adding that fuel surcharge should be exempted from Ticket Sales Charge (TSC). The association said: The Airline Operators of Nigeria hereby wishes to approval for fuel surcharge as an ameliorative measure to cushion the effect of the continuous increase in the exorbitant price of Jet-A1 on airline operations in the country. “In addition to the crippling effect of intermittent shortages of Jet-A1, the price has risen from N200 per litre in February 2022 to over N780 today. This has greatly increased the operational cost of airlines by well over 130 percent, yet, airlines are unable to increase fares and as well surfer from unavailability of foreign exchange to conduct their operations. “In order to forestall a backlash and total shutdown of the system, airlines are hoping to resort to an introduction of a fuel surcharge of between 25% to 40% of Neutral Unit of Consumption (NUC) as a way of offsetting the additional burden brought about by increased fuel cost, bearing in mind that Jet fuel account for about 40% of total operational expenses.” |
FreeStuffsNG:What you probably don't understand is that party primaries are completely different from general elections. In party primaries you have just few delegates who vote and who are prone to being bought silly with hard currencies. True popularity is tested in general elections where the real masses vote. Some masses could be financially induced but how far can that go with a population of over 200million people? I think Osinbajo would have been a better candidate for APC. He has popular and wide acceptance in even non Yoruba dominated regions like the south south and southeast and north central unlike Tinubu who isn't even sure of completely dominating his own region of South West. |
A Michigan woman is attempting to sue a man for USD$10,000 (AUD $14,495 or £8,327) for standing her up on a date. The woman, QaShontae Short, has launched a lawsuit against Richard Jordan in 67th District Court, claiming ‘intentional infliction of emotional distress’ after he failed to show up for his date with her, according to TMZ. In a video obtained by TMZ, the two appeared via Zoom for a virtual hearing, where things escalated quickly. “To be honest with you sir, I thought this was just gonna be thrown out,” Jordan said to Judge Herman Marable Jr. “We had a date, one date, and nothing else after that, and now I'm being sued for $10,000. I think this is a waste of your time.” Short claims that the man lied about going on a date with her and accused him of ‘perjury’, before Judge Marable tells her that she can’t determine that. He also accused the woman of not understanding the term as he explained over Zoom: “You understand! It's a false statement made under oath! Under oath! It's a false statement made under oath.” The judge continued to tell the woman that she incorrectly labelled her allegations in her report. He said: “I don't see anything in the complaint that says he made a false statement under oath.” To which Short responded: “Because you don't know what happened, you're on the outside looking in! You don't know anything.” However, the judge pointed out: “But you're a player! You have to lay out your allegations properly.” I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a judge use the term ‘player’ before, and not gonna lie, it’s quite invigorating. The judge told the woman that she had filed to the wrong court as her claim was a matter ‘outside the jurisdiction of district court'. He added that she must either dismiss the case or redirect it to circuit court. She replied: “Ummmm, I need to see because I was not aware, since you said perjury was not on there, I was not aware that a criminal offence for intentional infliction of emotional distress was considered a criminal offense.” This is not the first time Short has filed a frivolous lawsuit, as The Daily Mail reports that the Michigan native has also filed against Flint Police Department and AT&T.

For Tinubu to have confidently made this choice of a Muslim -muslim ticket despite knowing the consequences shows that he has something cooking for the elections in terms of rigging |
Olumaeme:Okay let's be specific...social media chat platforms such as messenger. And don't tell me that she's constantly and always on the chat platforms chatting with her fellow ladies cos we know that's practically not possible except she's lesbian |
Nyascobar1414: ![]() |
Silentgroper:Point is, what is she looking for again chatting with different guys on social media when she already is in a relationship? There is a huge difference between her being wooed spontaneously (maybe if she's walking on the street etc) and her subjecting herself to being wooed and persisting in it when she already has a lover. I mean when she does that, does she really think those guys she chats up are only there for special prayer sessions or what? I mean she already knows that those guys would be after her, so why then deliberately throw herself at them? And just in case you don't know, it only takes persistent pressure for a lady to fall prey, no matter how good or saintly she is. As long as the pressures keep coming from guys in different angles she'd surely give way. Now I'm not saying she shouldn't communicate with guys. But she ever finds herself in such situation she ought to draw that line or cut off rather than giving them the green light by persistently engaging in communications that could lead to "had I known". To me, it's an instant recipe for disaster. And mind you, an affair always comes from the wooing. So it's inappropriate for you to try to draw the line between the two because one is the inevitable result of the other if she persistently continues and doesn't draw that line. |
blinking001:Lolz I completely agree |
Ebubu3:I really believe that girls who still hook up to social media even when in a relationship will definitely cheat. I mean who does she chat with on social media if not guys who would tempt and woo her in all directions. The pressure would keep building up until she caves in. I really wonder what a girl looks for in social media when she already is in a relationship |
HopeNeverDies:lolz |
Was pondering over this - how possible is it for a girl who's in a relationship but frequently on social media to cheat? Is it right for a girl to frequently be on social media when she is already in a serious relationship? |
I don't understand. He paid 100k for a land and then rejected the land? Why pay for a land in the first place when you know that you don't need it? Please I need clarifications. |
It's really frightening how people talk so lackadaisically about abortion like it's a normal thing. I'm really pained that we should condone such a thing as abortion. The guy in question nevertheless needs to be careful. How can he prove he was actually the one who impregnated the girl? The girl can as well say she slept with other guys within the period and any of those guys could be responsible for the pregnancy. Secondly, the girl can also accuse the guy of raping her that led to the pregnancy. She'd be convicted for abortion but the guy would also be in for it. I think it's best to let her be, especially as she isn't your legally married wife. A woman who can do such a heartless thing as killing an innocent baby, whether it's out of wedlock or not, is really dangerous. Abortion is a big sin in the sight of God. It's evil. |
Baba himself. If only you know a bit of the story below.... We can never forget the covenant between OBJ, His Father, His Church and that Igbo Man back then in Abeokuta. A story that happened almost 80 years ago. God will forever keep his promises and words on the life of a man/woman. A touching, emotional and unheard of story. God bless all the people involved. 100% True. That is why he is God. He keeps his promise forever and ever. Meanwhile............
Please could you tell the story |
I hope the teacher who secretly recorded that conversation knows it's criminal to record and publish any phone conversation without the consent of the second party for the recording. Inasmuch as the commissioner's reaction was harsh, the teacher ought to have known better. Before you record a conversation you have to let the other party know that the conversation is going to be recorded. |
Cheating for a guy is different from that for a woman. A guy can cheat with as many girls and still attach no feelings and still love his wife to the highest. When a woman cheats, she invests her emotions into it. That automatically makes her a danger to the life of her husband. The next thing is that she might most likely connive with the guy to take out your brother, even if it means killing him. I repeat any woman that cheats is already a dangerous woman. Are you waiting until your brother is killed before you tell him the truth? You better tell him now so he'd know how to protect himself whenever he's around her and save his life. A word is enough for the wise. |
Reality3080:What are you even saying sef? Wike has a firm grip of South south that refused to vote for him at primaries? Delta, Edo, bayelsa and akwa ibom? Point is, Wike created this mess for himself by his unguarded insults against these people. He insulted the governors of Edo, and Delta, tried to oust governor Dickson and his successor Diri, and you think the governor of these states would campaign for him? Let's not even talk about the south east who still hold grudges against him for the oyigbo massacre, or is it the north that hates him? Wike just lacked basic wisdom and this has cost him a lot |
Interesting |
What CAN is calling for would indeed be suicidal in a nation that is battling poverty and all sorts of menace. Even America today with their strong institutional system are facing the consequences of granting gun license to individuals. What do you think will happen if that is done in a lawless country like Nigeria where almost everyone is driven by criminal intent. I think a better solution would be to allow for effective state policing, if possible local policing too at the local government level. |
Tradegood:It is statements like these that make me realize that Nigerians really deserve what they're going through. So even after 7 years of a disastrous regime, someone can still push for a man who couldn't even flip open his speech paper? People still choose on the naive basis of tribal and ethnic sentiments rather than what such a one can offer? I'm surprised you could overlook someone like Osinbajo and push for a man who couldn't even walk without stumbling! That's how people were saying even if Buhari has only NEPA certificate they'd vote for him over Jonathan. Today I really hope they're enjoying the mess and NEPA certificate economy they chose. It's really shameful that people still haven't learnt. I'm not Yoruba but of all the candidates I would have voted for Osinbajo 100 times over Tinubu |
Who still watches Nigeria matches in this era? |
This is what happens when you dive into ministry when God has not PERSONALLY called you. That you attended and graduated from a reputable bible school and that a great man of God ordains you doesn't mean God has called you. I can tell you this, anyone who has had a personal encounter with God in which he was personally called to ministry by Jesus himself will never look back because God will always equip the one he has called all round... including financially |
The president told them to pick their consensus candidate and present to him because he knows very well that in the end it's his own candidate that will be selected. Let's say his candidate is Amaechi for instance. If the contestants agree that Osinbajo should be the consensus, the president will secretly tell Amaechi never to agree to that. With that, Amaechi would not agree for Osinbajo as consensus. With such deadlock the president will now come in and say since they were unable to pick a consensus he would now have to do it himself. And so the president would now pick his choice Amaechi. On the other hand if the contestants pick Amaechi, it would still be a win for the president as his candidate would have been victorious. Either way, the president would win. |
The same southern governors you were insulting? You expected people you insulted to also give you their votes because they're fools or what? Wike shot himself in the foot by his uncouth and rude behavior, and even more foolish of him was the fact that the same people he insulted were those he needed votes from! I tell people that the southern governors and even Tambuwal never betrayed Wike. Wike brought the calamity on himself by insulting these people he needed votes from. Imagine the way he lambasted obaseki, okowa, ihedioha and Tambuwal prior to the primaries. Did he expect that these same people would now act like mumu and tell their delegates to support him? Politics is about interest. These people decided to align with Atiku because they felt Atiku would not give them same treatment Wike dished out to them. So I see no betrayal in what they did. Wike was only stupid and not wise |
Penguin2:Before the election, the governor would have probably made him sign a post dated legal agreement that he has withdrawn in favor of the governor. Thus even with his victory the governor might still use the legally signed form to take back the power. |
Lolz now that they've seen that Atiku has won in PDP they're now tactically trying to discard the Jonathan idea and shift focus towards fielding a northerner |
Lolz two years ago one scammer called me pretending to be from my bank and all that. I knew he was a scammer but I acted so desperate for all the offers he had while tactically wasting his credit and time. After close to 1hour wasting his credit I now revealed his foolishness to him. Mehn the guy vex so tey him insult me tire. Of course I gave him a deep throated laughter in sheer mockery and told him to try again, this time on someone who'd be so foolish to fall for his tricks. Lolz |
blowjohn:Of course we know Wike is courageous but is he democratic and diplomatic? It's takes more than just being courageous to win an election. You have to know how to approach people that you would need such votes from! You don't go about bossing them and using derogatory words and acting like you're a god before them. They'd just take that to mean that if they vote you in, then you'd just be too autocratic. Wike was courageous (and sincerely I love his courage) but surprisingly he lacked wisdom. It was only a matter of time before such betrayal would befall him. |
