What we need is an industrial
revolution in this state.
We have the coal to produce electricity.
We have the man power to man this power plant
we have the land water water.
What we need is for the governor to take the bull by the horn.
There are many investors who are willing to support him.
A 500MW of coal fired plant we change the lives of every Enugu
residents.
It will attract both local and foriegn firms to the state.
It will improve our HDI
The health sector will improve
SME will florish greatly as they wont bother about buying petrol
again
Tourism in the state will increase
It will generate massive revenue for the state.
It will improve the ease of doing business in the state.
The list is endless.
Enugu youths/residents lets wake up and demand for what is right.
let the pretence stop.
davear:
cjrane what is happening in Enugu state, why are the leaders dulling?
Our leaders lack the will to act. They know the results of their action may take up to 5-8 years to show and by then they will be out of office. So they think it is politically useless for them to take the right but difficult steps for Enugu to break even and develop as a star. Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi appears to have vision, but only time will tell if he has the heart of a lion to dare to develop the state through building partnerships to encourage Igbo business men scattered across the world. Enugu is one state that can get Igbos from everywhere to come and develop the state because it was our former capital and people still see it as such today.

To get industrial revolution, you must take the 5 steps which worked in other countries such as China, Singapore, Malaysia etc .

Enugu presently has great advantage because it has an international airport and a railway line to the ONNE port in PH for import and export services.
The best site for such massive industrial zone in Enugu would be at the Ninth (9th) mile area.

1. YOU MUST SECURE A LARGE EXPANSE OF LAND FOR THE MASSIVE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE.

2. YOU MUST ADEQUATELY SURVEY & PLAN THE AREA, GET GEO-SPATIAL MAP OF THE AREA AND PLAN EVERYTHING TO THE LAST PLOT OF LAND THERE.

3. BEGIN THE INITIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA BY PUTTING IN ACCESS ROADS (JUST UN-TARRED FEEDER ROADS) TO ENABLE POTENTIAL INVESTORS COME TAKE A LOOK AT THE AREA & ELECTRICITY POLES FOR POWER

4. PARTNER WITH LOCAL AND FOREIGN COMPANIES TO BUY PLOTS AND SET UP IN THE AREA. GIVE THEM GENEROUS CONCESSIONS ON LAND AND ABOUT 2-3 YEARS TAX HOLIDAYS.

5. MOST IMPORTANTLY, GET A COMPANY TO BUILD A SMALL GAS POWER PLANT TO SUPPLY ELECTRICITY TO ALL THE FACTORIES IN THE AREA AND SUPPLY THE REMAINDER TO ENUGU CITY

Ultimately, Enugu must engage the FG closely to make sure the Enugu - PH railway line is functional so that Enugu state can partner with private investors and build it's own inland container port somewhere at Agbani along the railway line. Also, more airlines (At least one European carrier eg Brussel air or Air France) are allowed to fly into AIIA especially from Europe. Air France can combine their Douala flights to include Enugu, the way they do all over Africa.

Enugu must closely learn how Anambra is getting private investors in Agriculture and repeat the same process in Enugu focussing on crops where the state has immense advantage such as maize, rice, cassava, cashews, pineapples and oil palm plantations

Igbo in the north should send their families home now!

Even if you curse Kanu or do as abooki says, it won't change anything in their hatred. You better stay in groups of men to defend yourselves and leave the damned land as soon as you can.

As for Fulanis in the south, they should publicly denounce northern youths and call for their arrest, as well as denounce Buhari's 97% v. 5% treatment of parts of Nigeria.

The next thing they will quote Prime Minister of India saying India does not support Biafra. Meanwhile ONLY the zoo media heard him saying No to Biafra. All the other world media heard him saying Nigerians should work together to resolve their dispute.

They are as deceitful as the serpent. Don't trust things like that statement nor the zoo media when it comes to foreign powers. They just want to demoralize you and make you erroneously blast innocent foreign diplomats who's words are constantly manipulated by DSS and zoo media.

Whether they fight a civil war over it or not. The same outcome will result in the end.

The call for referendum is just a mere formality because it is now obvious that those that want Biafra are definitely double the number that oppose it.

Dude,
Whether you claim to be from nnewi-ichi or Ukpor is not the issue. Boycotting the Presidential election will have a greater effect and not bring too much sufferings on the local civil servants and other innocent families.

Anambra does not deserve to be thrust under an abooki Sole Administrator for long 4 years to drain the state, incur huge debts that will finally remove any hopes of that state developing. Can you guarantee me that you will get Biafra after 6 months of boycotting the polls? NO!

Struggle for Biafra is a long term struggle. Therefore, you don't need to take thoughtless actions that will condemn parts of Biafra land to suffering for a very long time before Biafra.

Or is Anambra not part of Biafra? why would you wish it death then? I can tell you that Igbos will disobey. On 30th we were mourning our dead and since the zoo army likes to shoot innocent Biafrans protesting peacefully, we had no choice but stay home to protest. Now you are asking us to throw away a performing Biafran from Government house Awka and replace him with a Fulani sole administrator? Only an APC afonja can make such silly suggestion.....and i can assure you that it will fail.

What has Anambra Government done for any of you before if not for their own personal pocket?
They don't have to do anything for me personally. I'm not even from there. But you should always weigh your intentions against the suffering it will impact on innocent peoples lives. The only reason we opted for a peaceful agitation was because we did not want innocent people to suffer if we did insurgency or militancy. So why make them suffer now? You cannot change the rule of the game midway. People follow a leader who has great vision to improve their lives and liberate them from bondage. When you create more bondage by reckless thoughts, people will depart from you. It is a fact of history every great man must learn from.

We will get Biafra eventually, but not by pulling down Biafraland and helping the enemies of Ndigbo find excuses to come in and desecrate our land as silly Sole Administrators. This action is reckless and thoughtless and i am completely against it as many people are. For the sake of unity, don't dare act like the dictators in Nigeria that only want what they want and don't care for the people's lives. It is a recipe for monumental failure.

afonjaheadhunt:
It is either Afonjas are right that Igbo's are confused and don't know what they want or Igbo's themselves are fearful cowards, But, One thing is certain "Kanu definitely knows what he want and is all out to get it, see how Arewa maintained their stance on the "Quick Notice" But coward Igbo's be fretting over an election, Many of you saying you don't support Kanu/ Ipob approach to secession, now tell;

Which approach do you support? Ojukwu's civil war? Uwazurike's Massob? Or you want when Afonjas declare then we follow? Emmmm? Many of you Igbo's are cowards, and confused no better than Afonjas, two faced snakes, speaking from both side of the mouth. You dare call Ipobs miscreants? Same group for the first time ever in Nigeria's history gave Igbo's a voice today Nigeria is listening.

This same group have put their lives on the line for Igbo's, our first ever foot soldiers like Arewa, OPC and ND Militants. Lost lives while you spineless dolts hide behind your keyboards and in your wardrobes, yet you are bold to call them names online, it is no fault of yours, Internet have created warriors, only difference the battle field is online and the Amour, your keyboards while the blood you spill is the data you burn.

Igbo cowards what do you want? Do you want Biafra or not? If you want Biafra then why participate in Nigeria's elections still? When you know that a successful no-election compliance will not just send a message to the federal government but to the world as for Ohananeze we know they are under the pay roll of federal government just like the Sultan of Sokoto, Emirs, SG, and Uwazurike.

As for me nwa Awka Etiti, Idemili, Anambra State I stand with Ipob No election if not for anything, for Igbo's to send a message to the FG at least for once. Afonjas have done it June 12, SS with militancy, Arewa with Boko haram, and they were all rewarded, so why the fear, northern youths that gave Oct 1 deadline why don't they fear militarization of their state or state of emergency, we fear because we are confused.

A saying goes he who aims for the stars falls with the skies, so if we are successful with the no election and several other civil disobedience acts, even if we don't get Biafra we will get true federalism, Regionalism, or Confederation, all of which will be good for ndigbo at least that way we have our destiny in our hands. Ndigbo our fear of the Anambra election boycott are unfounded, believe.

Do we realize the implications if Ipob fails? We will forever be chest beats never to be taken seriously as for our elders/ elites the Nigerian government know they are sellouts and toothless bull dogs that's why the government have never taken them seriously, the only reason Ipob is taken seriously is because it is a movement by the youth and can spawn a revolution as the are unshaken to their resolve.

The Useless Ohaneze chief is even trying to play the card of disunity to achieve his aim but it will fall on him because an Anambra man can hardly insult an Abia man but will easily call him a wawa goat, he is stupid for playing that card and making me say that for the first time. Why would he try to pitch states against each other, Ipob have no borders, so they don't know who is Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, IMO, or Enugu.

This thread is directed to Igbo sellouts and cowards in our midst who don't know what they want, many of you whose parents can't even successfully gather their Umunna or Umuada for a kins meeting be calling Kanu names a man who have gathered more than Igbo thinkers, scholars, Renowned journalists, and the all massive masses ever ready to die for the liberation or their unborn children.

Now you Igbo coward, confuse lots and anti Kanu/Ipob also tell me what have you done for Biafra or the Igbo nation?.
What you failed to notice about AREWA is that they are always careful to do things where they won't put their people in any disadvantage. You have to learn how to use your brain more if you want people to follow you. The moment they think you are an eediot that doesn't care, and speaks without thinking, you immediately have no followers. Better take my advice seriously. If you think Igbos are blind and can be led by a fool, then you are in for a rude awakening.

Nnamdi Kanu erred by asking for a boycott of a state elections instead of federal elections (Presidential, Senate, etc). He will fail, because people don't want to go back to the days of no salaries for years and complete collapse of every sector.

Igbos are complaining about criminal neglect by federal government which is why you should call for Presidential election boycott where Igbos have zero representation. Instead it is the very few performing governors in Igboland that have managed to develop their states with the tiny meager resources that you want them replaced with a sole Administrator from Katsina?

Boy, if you make an error in judgement, retrace your steps, if you insist upon it, everything and support you have seen so far will fizzle away because you would be acting like the same thoughtless dictators ruling Nigeria that doesn't care about people lives but their own comfort. I am giving this advice as an IPOB member that knows this is a useless and thoughtless strategy that won't work and will only end with a Fulani Sole Administrator in Government House Awka. Which we will not accept.

If you think i'm Afonja, read my previous posts and see that i'm a more dedicated IPOB than you are and i am saying the leader was reckless this time in asking for no elections in Anambra. i would have obeyed him if he asked my to pick up arms instead of worsening the suffering already on people by asking them to sacrifice more and more and more. They should stop all these and give us guns to end the rubbish zoo.
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu And The Threat Of Political Backwardness In Anambra by cjrane: 1:43am On Jun 30, 2017
The idea to boycott governorship election in Anambra is a thoughtless error in judgement and it will fail.

To begin, our grudge is with the federal government not the Anambra government. The ONLY beneficiary of boycotting Anambra elections is the same FG that so cruelly marginalized Igbo.

The little economic activities there and repair of federal roads to keep a little economic activity going on is done by state governments in the southeast now. The APC federal government has since disowned the southeast as being worthy of any federal project at all.

Therefore, if APC is allowed to appoint one of it's crooks as sole administrator in Anambra to use the little money for salaries and pensions to fund their evil party, then the civil servants in that state will die and everything will eventually collapse and the Federal Government always intended when they starved the area of any projects.

To boycott a Presidential elections where people like Buhari only visit Igboland during elections and never go back once they win makes sense than to shoot yourself in the foot removing a performing Igbo from office so that another Aminu will be appointed Sole Administrator to rule Anambra indefinitely.

Their first plot was to use a poison while pretending to be on a peace mission.
The second involved open assassination during rallies.

Please pass this message to anyone close to our hero. It is from a reliable source.

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) has urged the United States of America, Europe, Australia and other civilized countries to impose travel ban on Nigerian government officials over alleged human rights abuses in the country.
According to IPOB, such sanction would compel the federal government to comply with the various court rulings on its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafran agitators.
IPOB which made the call in a press statement issued yesterday by its Media and Publicity Officer, Emma Powerful, expressed shock that no sanctions had been considered against Nigeria by the international community despite obvious human rights violation especially against freedom fighters in Nigeria.
The Biafran group lamented the continued killing of its members by security operatives during peaceful protests yet without any concern by the international community.

Biafra is a call for freedom of all the oppressed peoples of Nigeria.

As Nnamdi Kanu remarkably said, Biafra is a stand against injustice, tyranny and complete suffocation of other groups in Nigeria by removing their sovereignty and hiding under the unitary governance system dominated by Fulani to perpetually enslave them. From Berom, Jukun,Tiv etc are accepted if their people want to go with Biafra than the northern caliphate.

Therefore, minority tribes of the north from Southern Kaduna to Kafanchan, to Jos, Lokoja or Idah who wish to join Biafra are welcome to come and discuss their terms of unity with the existing ethnic nationalities inside Biafra and they will be incorporated into the Biafran fold.

The name of the new country can even be changed to something more acceptable even Benuegeria grin if we must name territories after the river to all the federating ethnicity so that all can feel a sense of belonging in the new country.

Of course, to ensure nobody is ever dominated or to repeat the wicked evil of Nigeria, a clause that will allow any ethnicity to pull away will be a central feature of the new country's constitution.

It will be the first black country in this world actually created out of negotiations among Africans themselves, than created by Colonial masters to serve their economic agenda without any consideration for the wellbeing of the Africans and deliberately skewed to make sure it never developed nor work peacefully.

Nigeria is destined to break up either peacefully or violently, it will be the same result.

The ONLY way to stop Nigeria's break up is to quickly address the lopsided federation and go back to our regional administration structure to prevent people hiding under smokescreen of FG to undermine other regions which is fueling the anger.

Many people that have supported Nnamdi Kanu is because he was right that some people in this country would rather ask for war than try to make Nigeria a just and equitable land. So people are prepared to fight for their freedom if that what it takes
