Nonsense
Such Aberrations and abnormalities
Deviants from evolutionary biology
No scientific research to back up their depravity
They are worse than animals ,

These is one strong reason to control women's bodies and reproductive rights
So as not to allow these rubbish into society, give them Abortion and be prepared for LGBTQ+ as they would always go far

Decadence in my Society won't be tolerated
If you weren’t all mouth and not much else, you would actually research before typing stuff on the internet. Homosexuality exists in many forms of life besides humanity.

I do believe in the existence of a God though I really disagree with the approach of many of my fellow believers.

Yes we shouldn't support them... Save humanity and stop messing with nature
are you sure you’re understanding what you are saying?
we should oppress heterosexuals like we do to homosexuals since heterosexual sex is responsible for much more STDs than just HIV?

We should deny heterosexuals the right to marriage, freedom of association, kill them, insult them, harass them etc?

You can start from telling us how HIV AIDS virus started in US within the Gay community

Since society should support people with such abnormalities let's support Yahoo Ritualists eating poo also

We can also support Chinese that gave the world Covid 19 through eating dead snake and rats without even cooking properly

.
Following that logic, we shouldn’t support heterosexuals who have brought all the other sexually transmitted diseases known to humans into this world? Simple yes or no. No long answer

Her smartness made her do the laundry while her 6 other children do what? Such women rarely had/have happy marriage themselves thus feel justified at the displacement of their repressed pain and anger on women their sons are bringing into the family.

Her type would make sure the house is very neat and tidy before her son arrives with the oyibo woman and be at her best behaviour, to improve her son's chances of marrying the woman!

Eye service at its peak! undecided
thank you especially at bold

They make terrible mothers in law because they were okay with being disrespected because they are women. And they think other women should go through the same.

COMPAQ:
Jacuzzi is over rated in Nigeria. What most of us do is shower not bath. Only in Nigeria someone has a jacuzzi and stands inside it with bucket.

Having a bath in reality means filling up the jacuzzi or tub with water, putting in essential oils and soaps and then soaking in it for some time before scrubbing yourself down.

Who does that in Nigeria? Who even has time for it?
Okay. But Why are you explaining this to me?

We religious and heterosexual people are the Caucasians of sex and gender issues. Hurting others because they are not like us. Justifying it because we are doing the “right” thing.

We are responsible for a lot of sexual trauma that people carry into their adulthood because of how taboo we make everything.

If it helps, I hope you understand he was acting out of ignorance and his own indoctrination. Not that he deliberately wanted to be cruel and hurt you.

Obi1kenobi:
No fool who justifies violence against women deserves respect. If he chooses to disrespect women, there is no foul in returning the same energy he wants to channel out.

Culture is not something stamped on people by invisible hands. It's the way a society chooses to live. To justify grotesque anachronisms as "culture" would be as silly as justifying slavery, human sacrifice etc as culture. Culture changes all the time as societies evolve. Christianity is a recent import into Nigeria. Why not reject it because it was not the "culture" of your ancestors?

Black people wear Western clothes, observe Western religion, speak Western languages, use Western technology (like both of us typing here on Western originated tech). How convenient that we only remember our own regressive culture when it comes to subduing women as door mats who serve at the pleasure and will of their male masters. Culture my arse. If feminism is not "something black people are known for", does that make it illegitimate? Is that a rational basis for evaluating the net good of feminism to the society?

Plenty of women don't "leave their parents" to meet their husband. Plenty are independent working professionals. If he married a housewife who he took from her parents, it doesn't mean every woman is one and he may have to readjust his dinosaur mentality to the realities of the modern world.

Every adult in our culture, man or woman, single or married, can do as they like within the ambit of the law. So it's not for him to dictate anything under the weaselly toga of "culture". If one can't win the respect of their wives, that speaks to their own failings as men. Not for a dinosaur to be justifying violence against women because of "feminism".

Groups such as this are the reasons many homes are breaking up and the number of divorcees are on the increase.Instead of devoting their energy towards building responsible women and house wives, they are busy brainwashing unsuspecting women into being disrespectful of their husbands. If I may ask, what is fantastic about 2021 compared to years back of our forefathers.Evidences abound in every sphere of life be it marriage, economy, peace etc, that the glorious years of our forefathers is the best and should be our cornerstone towards peace, development and happiness.
Maybe you guys can focus on raising good men and then these women won’t have anything to fight against. Instead, people like you and Pete Edochie are advocating violence against women. And you’re complaining because we don’t think that’s okay?

Not this generation of women and wives, some don't provide for their family, was it not a girl here that said that she will never support her husband but will rather spend his money, so what would you call someone like her? the fact that some little percentage of women help their husbands doesn't mean others do the same thing.
that’s just one girl

In fact this generation of women have no option but to be financially supportive. Not with the way the economy is set up. Many of you wouldn’t be able to sustain a family without her help.

All those arguments about “this generation” is just the plain old “all women are bad except my mom” reformatted.

No news here because Nigerian wives and moms have been financial pillars in their homes as far as I know. Many many homes would have crumbled by now if not for their working, trading, teaching and hustling wives/moms. It’s a reality in our face everyday. People just like to come on the internet and be weird like they don’t see it.

If you know your mom has supported your family financially and you come on this thread to act surprised that a Nigerian woman is helping her husband with money, I’m disappointed in you on behalf of your mom. Yes, She told me to tell you.

Most HRs get this wrong.

For security reasons, you don’t have to call someone and start asking their names and whereabouts.

Exactly
pocohantas:
I don’t see what is wrong with this question. I have been asked that question in English, Igbo and Yoruba. Some rudely, some out of curiosity, some dismissively. Nigerians are paranoid and on the lookout for scammers, so that question comes easily. I simply tell you where I got your number, some would apologize, some would still not be interested in speaking. I will ask if that is a bad time and I can call later. Whichever way it goes, no stress.

Nigerians are hardly ever quick to introduce themselves. They just call and go on till you ask “who is this?” Then they get angry again.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Lady Loses Job Opportunity Due To Her Response To HR's Phonecall by cococandy(f): 1:14am On Apr 03, 2021
Your HR people are wrong. They were supposed to introduced themselves first before asking her for her identity. Stalkers abound these days and people are advised not to reveal their personal connections except
to people who need it for something important.

If someone I don’t recognize calls me, they have to introduce themselves before I divulge if indeed the number is mine or not. I won’t be rude to them but they shouldn’t expect me to be forward with that information when I don’t know who’s calling.

There’s no choice the lady will make that they won’t complain about.

If Chioma had said no to Davido, they would have said she’s not wise. No who no know them dey take them seriously.

When she dropped out of school to dedicate her life to him, Were they not using her as example to us on how to keep a “high value” man?

Mtchew
pocohantas:
How? What if some of these women are okay with being babymamas? What if they want kids and companionship without the “bondage” and exclusivity of marriage?

Everyday I read how marriage doesn’t favour men. I see guys advising themselves to go the babymama route. Same guys will see a babymama and call her cheap.

Isn’t that too much confusion? These are women willing to help men stay out of marital bondage. They should commend these women.

Tomorrow if Davido marries her like Tuface did to Annie, same guys will gather again to tell us how Chioma’s patience and long-suffering paid off.

These blokes just want to keep whining and having the final say. They should shut up for a minute and choose a stand.
