If you mean something to someone, they will make time for you.

Ladies please don’t settle for a ‘busy’ guy who makes you beg for attention and love. It’s really demeaning. I’ve seen ladies who I’m close to lose themselves over this. All the time wondering if there’s something he’s not telling them. Best believe he’s not celibate all the time he’s too busy for you.
Ask yourself if he will be patiently sitting waiting for you while you’re too busy to be his woman. You’re not allergic to making money or doing whatever it is that’s so important that he does with his time. but you know how to prioritize so that the important things get the time they deserve while you still make your money. Don’t accept less than you give. Busy sometimes is very okay and is normal part of life. Busy all the time is abnormal and unhealthy.

To the guys, If Obama can make time for his family, none of y’all can’t tell us nothing.

I believe in the right to do what you want with your body. However like someone above said, I support openness to prospective sexual partners. Let them know before it gets to the sexual stage that you used to be a different gender. That way they can make an informed decision on who they sleep with.

As for forcing their lifestyle on others, if no one is forcing another person to change their gender gender, then I don’t see how they are being forced to accept the lifestyle.

Unjustified anger against who? So because I dated a crazy freak for some years of my life & treated me badly. So I come up and say some bullshit about all Women in general and generalise calling it a Justified anger. Displaying anger & bitterness for whom exactly?
omg. This has nothing to do with failed relationships or whatever it is you’re thinking. You should developed a bigger mindset at this stage of your life. . Why does that seem to be the thing some people talk about when they feel like someone is against their gender. This is not about anyone’s relationships much less mine. It’s about social discrimination that happens around me and I see it all the time. I don’t need to be personally hurt by a man to see when men are unfair to everyone else. And it doesn’t matter if one is in a perfect relationship or not, misogyny touches each of us regardless of whether we have saints as fathers, brothers, boyfriends and husbands

You say Discussions going round & back to men and not letting other people be themselves. So Other people like Women and including children too? Because people means more than one person. Just speak your mind in full let's know.
other people means women and men who do not agree with them. If a woman or a man do not present themselves in a way that put male superiority and abundance of sexual gratification for straight men as a priority, then best believe every means possible will be applied to make sure it happens. Including but not limited to religious, social restrictions, institutionalized restrictions and cultural restrictions. Many social discussions at their core revolve around it if you’re observant

The way you have also coupled together [ homosexuality + women’s right to self ] is baffling & appalling to say the least.
You are fighting for homosexuality or women rights? Which one madame?
These two are the main things conservatives are against. They were just examples.

"The world does not revolve around you guys and if stating that makes me an angry person, so be it" --- Anyway, I think we can both agree that you're one Angry black woman, please remember to take your meds. Good night.
There are no meds against anger except to fight the cause of it. I’m taking my meds all right.

However there are meds against ignorance. The first step being to educate yourself and recognize that you can’t dictate how others should live.

Statement of fact is not a display of anger and even if it is, can you honestly tell yourself that it is unjustified anger?
Funny how anyone who tells the truth is displaying anger or bitterness or whatever you decide to call them to avoid being accountable for what the person is accusing you of.

Ask yourself why homosexuality is considered worse than lesbianism? It’s simply because it doesn’t fall in line with what the predominantly heterosexual men want. The world does not revolve around you guys and if stating that makes me an angry person, so be it.

Conservativism is just the tool that misogyny uses to enforce the will of straight men on anything that goes contrary to what they want. E.g homosexuality and women’s right to self. So yes the discussion will always go around and come back to men. Because you’re the ones that won’t let other people be themselves.

If you would live and let live, stop speaking for God, and stop trying to control everything, these discourse won’t be happening.

Interesting! Your piece of reply is stating more on Anger towards Men than Gay bashing in itself, how did we even arrive here? You always make it seem like Men treated you badly in the past & then you must vent all your anger towards all Men. Bikonu, Move on, Every man cannot be an asshole thinking women owe him.

The same ideology will go for a Gay man dating another Gay man because He will still feel entitled that his Gay spouse owes him something. So the heterosexual man is not even your problem.

As far as I'm concerned, you are defying the order of nature. Even if you don't believe in any Religion or such. At least you know there is a Supreme being. He wasn't stupid when he made Sun shine during the day & Moon during the night. You know why? Thats the natural order. It is not surprising that Lesbian couples still asks for Sperm donors.

Anyway, you have your opinions. We have ours. Goodluck sponsoring your son on his Gay wedding.

It's America, everyone has their opinions you know? Freedom of speech, Freedom of free thought. No one can arrest him. I don't support it but It is what it is & I know this law will actually get passed. It would start State by State, just watch & see.
If a law that makes it legal to sleep with children gets passed, I can guarantee you that it will start with the conservative states.

Some of you have no idea how the America you love to talk about works. Conservatives are always against homosexuality, women’s right to reproductive health (except when their mistresses get pregnant then abortion is okay), immigration (except when it’s white people from other countries) to mention but a few. But they don’t have a problem secretly supporting pedophiles (research Roy Moore and the Donald Trump train) and sexual abusers like themselves.

But God forbid two men have sex with each other. Two women? Not a problem. It plays turns them on so that’s okay.
They can’t stop obsessing about other people’s sex lives and their need to control it.
This useless thread is the result of that.

I didn’t even need to dig hard to unearth the purpose of this useless thread. You’re already spilling it. It’s Disguised as a thread to talk about someone wanting to legalize pedophilia while the simple truth is that it’s just another gay bashing thread. Typical dumbo move and it’s playing out exactly like it’s intended to. Gay bashers have arrived .

As for your question. I’ll give you an answer from the bottom of my heart. I’d rather have a gay son who is humane than another entitled asshole roaming the face of this earth in the name of a heterosexual man thinking the world and women owe him because he has a peenis. Not thank you.

Gay or straight. The most important thing I consider in a human being is their ideology and how they treat other people. What people think matters little. If that family in Nigeria will help me pay his tuition and pay for the wedding, then they can have a say. Otherwise, they can mind their business.

cruchenutii:
Oh just kip chut up please ! You can give out all your shoes to charity if you want, not our cup of tea. It's Females like you who buy into this bullshit mentality that LGBT is normal & nothing wrong with it. Why would you want to change the natural order of things & think it's okay.

You know it's always Okay until your first son comes home with his BF from College & tells you he's settling down with him, & how they are so much in Love that nothing can separate them. Then you start to dance to the tune of the music you are playing now. They are two conceding adults right?

How do even start to explain that to your Family back home in Nigeria that such a wedding is taking place. Well, good luck to you on that.

Shop being belligerent. That guy made lots of sense. I believe men should respect women and I do but it will be wise if men can stop paying bride price and paying all sorts of bills just to marry a woman. Most men believe they have 'bought' their wives and hence can treat her as they like.
We are not saying that the tradition is the women's fault but rather women and feminist group like yours should advocate for the abolishment of this tradition.
In Nigeria, people will trample on you if you are dependent on them for money or favours. That's the way our mind is wired, sadly.

Jeez...what kind of unruly and uncivilized behavior is this?
Can't you be civilized and polite?.
What part of my post is unruly? The part that didn’t agree with you?

I don't even live in Nigeria
irrelevant to the discussion
but I'm a Nigerian and I know what's happening in Nigeria.
you obviously don’t

Women should be able to stop their parents from taking bride price from suitors.
in an ideal world maybe. In another world where she can’t tie the men in both families up and stop them from carrying out their plans, then it’s easier said than done.

That's why Nigerian men kill and beat cheating wives because they believe they paid for her.
maybe. But that’s not the only reason why. It’s a fundamental ideology ingrained in them from their fetal stages that they can do whatever they want and women should burn for the same offenses. The ones that didn’t pay bride price still can’t understand why they should treat women as themselves.

Bride price is just like the men acquiring the women as properties.
I agree

Trust me, if bride price is abolished. Nigerian men will come to their senses.
I doubt that but I still think it should be abolished.

You descended on me for saying what I've observed. If you know me very well on this forum ,I'm an advocate of women rights and you can see that from my topics both on this account and my other account.
a true women’s advocate would not blame women for situations they have no control over.

Majority of Nigerian married women still depend heavily on their husbands. Until they stop depending on men as if their entire existence depends on the men and at the same time stop their parents from collecting bride price nothing is going to change.

I'll only deem it fit to reply you again if you give me a mention that is mature and polite.
That’s how it’s obvious that you don’t live in Nigeria. Millions of Nigerian women toil everyday to bring food to the table and take care of the children. I can’t take anyone seriously who says otherwise. You obviously have not been to the markets, banks, schools, roadsides, farms and motor parks to see women hustling under rain and shine every single day.

I don’t need your reply, but if you post something that is condescending towards women again, I’ll call you out on it. Maybe I’ll start the post with “dear sir” and end with a “thank you”.

That would be mature, civilized and polite.

Yes it is women’s fault.

Another manifestation of inequality. That the one is responsible for the other’s behavior.

So the father of the bride and his male relations classified as the kinsmen all sit and decided they must collect bride price from the male relatives of the groom’s family. Yet, it somehow falls on the girl to be the one to put a stop to all of them in order for her to treated as normal person.

She is the one to blame for this male tradition that has been perpetuated by men for generations and generations. I see.

I would say you live under a rock if you still think men are primary breadwinners in majority of the home but that would be stating the obvious. I’m not captain obvious
Hanseel1:
Until Nigerian women stop depending on men for their existence and also stop their parents from collecting bride price from suitors, Nigerian men will continue to see them as properties .

Home upbringing and mentality are a part to this but most times it is dependency nature of Nigerian women and bride price.
If you ask a typical Nigerian man why he beats his wife, why his wife should be the one to cook, why his wife should see him as her God he will tell you that he paid bride price & also paying house rent, providing money for the running of the home.

These cases you cited are not as a result of 'inequality' na.

Don't be surprised that same baffoons would not let men ten feet from their daughters. So they are not doing it because they feel you are 'inferior' or undeserving of 'equal treatment'; they do it because they have been trained (by parents, society, women themselves) to believe they can take advantage of women and get away with it. They have been trained to see women as a thing of enjoyment and move on when they are done. They have been trained it is ok to indulge in your base fantasies and sow their wild oats.

Some of them classify women into good women (predominantly their sisters, mothers, wives, relatives etc.) and other women they can use for their enjoyment.

The solution is bringing up gentlemen and women who know their own worth.
@bold, but that’s the one of the core manifestations of inequality
