Brendaniel: Racism... You know, one of the things I have learnt in this life is just how fast a table can turn sometimes, some of these racist whites think this thing will last forever, remember there was once a time Egypt ruled the world, at sometime babylon( current day iraq/iran), some of these kingdoms and powers fell unexpectedly, at those times they saw other race as inferior like what is happening today and subjected them to all forms of maltreatment, in this life people should thread carefully especially when dealing with people/persons with a clean heart.... For the fact that they are pushing for animal rights and like to see blacks as animal, are they suppose to discriminate against blacks? The whole thing is an impossible contradiction or paradox. A stúpid one at that. I call it the true handiwork of devil. |
Christianity Etc › Isnt This Evidence That Racism Is Of The Devil? by CodeTemplar(op): 10:17am On Apr 19, 2020*. Modified: 2:26pm On Apr 19, 2020 |
I was going through the thread currently on front page about the Nigerian priest who was facing racist abuse in Germany here: https://www.nairaland.com/5801887/priest-patrick-asomugha-leaves-germanLocal public broadcaster SWR reported in July last year that parents were overheard saying: "I won't let my child be baptized by a black man." "I'm not taking anything from those dirty black hands," one parishioner is reported to have said as Asomugha held communion. when I got to the above extract/quote, it occurred to me that these same western nations pushing for animal right and like to call blacks animals are same people now discriminating against black. I don't know if anyone else sees the impossible contradict or paradox in it? To me this is proof the devil is behind racism. |

Nigerians and mumuness Stay at home order in most advanced nations where apartments with no private space exist between building and fence is hardly translatable here. |

The small Pity I have for northern Nigeria is for the innocent, liberal minded ones and Christians among them. When it was ravaging Lagos, our clueless and nepotistic leader was busy sharing taxpayers money in Lagos to people who don't pay taxes in the north, are not really under lockdown and still go to farm/work. Now they have eaten palliative let the situation hit them also. |

Humanoid01: Lol you said you thought she was a big girl who could take care of herself. You had the greater responsibility to prevent that pregnancy, yet you're casting the blame on her.
A lady you once dated invited you over to her apartment, and you couldn't tell that something unexpected would spring up? This is just a proof that abortion is a sin and a strong signal for people who are not ready to be in a family way and are engaging in premarital unprotected sex. Egungun go soon enter express o.
I don't understand the kind of cleansing that native doctor was talking about. As one who believes in the saving grace and mercy of God, I think you should be very sincere with yourself if you're truly sorry. Not because you're in a mess, but because you know what you did was wrong. Beg God for forgiveness and resolve within your mind that you won't go back to it. Be very sincere.
You shouldn't worry about being exposed to your mother and fiancée anymore because you're going to have to expose yourself by yourself. Yes! you will do that, because it would be more damning if they found out on their own later on. Let them know how much you regret your actions.
When that is settled, you should go and visit your ex and her family to do the same. It's not going to be an easy task, but there's always a price to pay for certain mistakes if freedom is what you seek. Most importantly, be prayerful. Maybe this is what God wants to use to get you closer to Himself. You don't need any cleansing except by the blood of Jesus. See a pastor if need be, but run away as fast as you can if any of them asks you for money or offers to take you to one river.
You can also advise her to also beg God. She needs to, because you were both in it together. You didn't force her or put any pressure on her (unless you're not saying everything that needs to be said).
You can ponder on this and reason its possible benefits. Please don't take your life o, you'd be giving the devil what he wanted the whole time.
PS: Please ensure you keep paragraphs with at least 1.2m spacing when typing a long text like this, to ensure easy readability 2 Corinthians 7:10. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of but the sorrow of the world worketh death. If OP is truly sorry, good for him, it may even drive him to salvation, if he only has worldly sorrow then, I am sorry for him. |

Politics › Re: Southern Nigeria Need To Wake Up by CodeTemplar: 9:57am On Apr 16, 2020 |
dukeprince50: Southern Nigeria Kwa. They are sharing it to the poorest households, the northern part are the poorest Firstly, the idea of sharing to the 'poorest' is cataclysmic at best. In a lockdown, even the not so poor become poorer than those election induced poorest of the poor. Lagos is our tax capital and I am surprised the FG is rewarding people who don't tax ahead of know taxpayers in Lagos. In advanced nations, taxpayers get more priority in tines like these. It is simple logic but Buhari thinks a list used to entice voters before election by calling them poor is best measure to know who is more affected by the lockdown. States like Zanfara with no covid are getting more attention than even Lagos. Can you beat that? |
