My company recently got bullied by an organization because they think we are a small firm .

How can we drag them on twitter please?? Our handle doesn't have follow currently. Can anyone help please friends

Just report them to the appropriate agencies. That word "drag" itself suggests that you are resorting to self help deliberately.

I'm not sure these agencies open there mail boxes. We have sent out mails without response.

People said twitter is the best. Not self help, they did us bad. We would go to court later, but we need to let everyone know what they did first

I will sue the Police commissioner in Anambra state alongside Sterling bank by Next week. Sterling bank used the Police to abduct my brother over a civic matter and kept him for 96 hours.

They can intimidate us to any extent they want, we would get justice at the end

These people would be more careful with civilians if we (Civilians) starts challenging there procceses

Then they would be happy they arrested, assaulted and detained my brother over a loan in another person name and still got there money back ?

I might be wrong but it seems your mum loan is a personal loan, you might need to explain that. They don’t even have any right to pick your brother.

Using your company address does not mean anything except you are one of her guarantors.

My advice is to get a good lawyer asap.

I understand it means nothing bro. My lawyer even said it. We just want to add forgery to the suit 😂😂

As an ex banker,I have told u that u guys will win this case perfectly well even bribing anybody. I said this in my first reply to u.

Now,tell ur mum to reprint her utility bill address and give it out to ur lawyer.

Find away to get someone that works with Sterlin bank to help u out with these details...what it means is that ur mum would have to go another branch of the bank to get these details as quick as possible.

And for u,ur prepared metre bills should also be protected so as to avoid them getting it from any source.

Thanks bro, but I think they have changed the address because it's my address displaying in the offer letter they sent my mum two days ago

But I'm sure they can't access our company receipt since it's a plaza and paid by the management and kept by them

Will another branch have access to the utility bills ?

Hello Friends
Last month, I brought to your notice of an issue with Sterling bank. They arrested my brother (my operational manager ) in my office over a loan my mother owe.

Before I wrote to them through our lawyer, I asked my mum of the address she used while opening her account. She told me that it's her house address. I asked if has has ever used my head office address for anything, she said she doesn't even know my head office address

Then I asked my mom to demand for the offer letter of the loan. When she did, it happened that her address has been changed to my companies address

We concluded that they copied my address from the first letter I sent them and updated it as my mum’s address on the loan/account

Maybe they want to use it to establish the fact as to why they visited my office in the first place in court

We also used the same email account that my mum used to demand for “the loan offer letter” to demand for her Utility bill, but they refused to avail it. They kept telling us to hold on while they iron things up

I'm so concerned as to why a bank can be this corrupt and fraudulent. How else do you think we can demand for this utility bill??

Or what should we do here please??

Oga if you write your petition through your lawyer making reasonable demand, the biggish won't waste money on SAN but settle you

Even his lawyer would ask him to settle you instead of going endlessly to court

Omo, Sterling bank did same thing to us last month o. We were even scared because we thought they would frustrate us in court

They arrested my staff and kept him for 4 days for a loan another person took.

They realised they messed up and called in to just say sorry

I think we should do something with the law then, what do you think bro ?

Dont get me wrong...i am not saying u dont have the liberty to sue the bank...heck! U can even sue a president, governor or dangote.... what i am saying is u case wont stand against the bank...

Did she show u documents from the bank that the bank instructed her to arrest you or injure ur brother...?? Her action is just an overzealous attempt at recoveing the loan she approved to ur brother, to avoid having a bad loan record on her name/career

No bank will authorize use of brute force because of small class loans.....the worst is to take over any collateral if available, or write it off as bad loans and sanction the staff

U cant even sue the bank in this case...the behaviour of the lady is obviously not sanctioned by the bank....but u can use social media to drag the lady and mention the bank

1) I can't sue a bank that arrested and detained someone for 4 days over a loan he didn't take

2) I can't arrest a bank that created panic and made me lose my customers over a loan I know nothing about? Despite my warning the first time they came

Why do Nigerians underestimate the power of justice? If you're not guilty of what you were accused of, seek the advice of a lawyer and take the necessary legal actions against the person/institution.

It will be worth it, nobody here will help you.

Scared of taking bank to court, they might frustrate the process
