spyder880:There is nothing wrong with what Shettima said. Okowa should go and sit down. |
Advocate500:You are just being afraid of reality. Everyone knows it is between Tinubu and Atiku. |
Zonefree:Name the lucks wey Anambra people get under Obi for 8 years? |
Massiveglory:Oga, if the election dey free and fair...Tinubu go win all of them. Who wan win am? Obi wey na only Southeast and Southsouth people dey talk about. Tinubu and Atiku will get appreciable votes in the Southsouth and Southeast as well, even though Obi will get the majority of the votes. Tinubu go lockdown Southwest, and get majority votes for Northeast and Northwest. All of them go scramble for Northcentral, of which Tinubu and Atiku will have the upper hand. |
TheRareGem1:Lol. Resonate ke.... politics no be by resonate o. Hate for what? You be mugu o. Me and Osinbajo dey drag VP position ni? Loved by many...why e no fit win primary election? Politics no be about emotions. You think Tinubu is hated by many abi? Have you asked yourself why people will leave someone that is so loved to vote someone that is so 'hated'? People are only emotional towards Osinbajo...just like Obi. Amaechi even beat Osinbajo. I like Osinbajo, but the truth is, the Baba no fit handle Nigeria. E no sabi play politics at all. |

Na your palle be thing... Wetin you smoke? |
garfield1:I think so too. |
lagosrd:Lol. Osinbajo no fit try am. Who sabi am? You never understand politics sef. |
Laggafin:Zulum can't work with Osinbajo. Osinbajo will 'dull' him. Fashola - Zulum would have been magical. Forget the whole posh demeanour, Tinubu is a better choice than Osinbajo. |
garfield1:2019 elections were free and fair. Buhari go beat Atiku even if dem meet 10 times. |
DontSuckToto:U sure say you well? |
penultimatee:Seriously... Osinbajo no fit handle Nigeria o. Let's leave grammar aside. Politics isn't the academia. |
NaijaRoyalty:Let me correct you. It is Peter Obi you (not all Nigerians) will vote for. Not everyone wants Obi. |
Zonefree:That is the point. Why strike when you are very aware that the children and wards of the political class rarely school here. ASUU really has to device another strategy. One that doesn't hurt the students and parents. They claim to be the best brains in the country. They should be able to do better than keeping the universities in locks and keys; and millions of students at home. They have to bear in mind that there are educators like them too at the primary and secondary schools too. There are also professionals in engineering, medicine, law etc, that work for the government as well. I really think that the minds of these lecturers have to be disabused. Primary and secondary schools aren't inferior to the universities. The universities are a progression of primary and secondary schools - centers for third tier education. As a matter of fact, if there are educators who should be doing this, it should be those at the very foundational stages of knowledge acquisition - primary and secondary. In my thinking, educators at the primary and secondary schools are even more important. Have we wondered why with an SSCE one can become the president of the country? Everyone needs a pay rise, in the midst of a global economy that is biting so hard. I really think that ASUU should shift some grounds. As valuable as their role is, they aren't the only services sector in the country. Being a lecturer or academic is a choice. That doesn't make anyone superior to the other. I recently learned that government made some offers of increments - something in the neighborhood of N30k and N60k, which they vehemently rejected. ASUU matter don taya me. |
Anyiamaka:That one wey teeth full him mouth? Wetin him sabi sef.... Wike wey no reach to package, put for one corner... All Okowa needs is to rally Douye Diri, Udom Emmanuel, Godwin Obaseki and neutralize Wike in the Southsouth...Rivers state alone doesn't make the region. Mtchewww. |
Trinitycian:How's Atiku pro Nigeria? |
Demigod22:Exactly my point! And someone is here talking balderdash....asking why the groom had to go the length he did? Abeg, make dem free the groom jare. We all have our different ways of handling issues. People don't know what it takes to invest all your affection and resources on someone who is still neck deep in worthless gallivanting. She no lucky say the guy no kpuff her.... People really need to start taking certain things seriously, relationships especially. You are either in it or out of it. Relationships can be very demanding as they can be exhausting. The assurance of mutual affection is what keep partners flourishing. |

tommy589:He could go any length, after all he funded the wedding. Why would any woman string a man into going through the rigours of planning and funding a wedding when she practically is still unwilling to the leave the olosho lifestyle? |
MadeInTokyo:With Shekarau's return to PDP... I foresee Kwankwaso rethinking his presidency at the dying minute and exploring what deal he could strike with the APC.... We are going to see alot of alignments and realignments. |
MadeInTokyo:Obi is just doing some mop up of job for Atiku in the Southeast and Southsouth. As far as I am concerned, he is not vying for the presidency. I agree with you. |
Flows001:2023 no far again... Talk is cheap! |
majamajic:You don't surprise me at all. All over social media, Obi's supporters are known to act without tact. How does credit for 12million + new voters be associated with Peter Obi? This is the function of increased sensitization by INEC and political parties. PVCs are bargaining chips for voters, in case you don't know. If you think 12mill+ new voters means 12mill+ for Obi, then you've got to urgently do something about your mental health. Did we just start having youths in Nigeria this year? Let me tell you something unfortunate about the Nigerian youth, most of them I'd say, lack focus and aren't really interested in governance. They are more drawn to various get-rich-quick schemes, drugs and crimes. We aren't just ready yet, and that's the truth. Many people supporting Obi do not even know who he is....for many, it is just a case of joining the bandwagon. Ask them one question about the man, and they are aloof and start cursing. I asked a couple of people recently why they are supporting Obi, and their response was that he is a new face in the political space...and when I informed them that he had been a governor in my state for 8 years, you can't imagine my shame and disappointment at learning that they were only just getting to know that tiny information. It's quite a shame! Go and find out Buhari's total votes in the Southeast in 2015 (when Obi did not run) versus his total votes in the same region in 2019 when Obi ran with Atiku? Why did Buhari's votes swell in the Southeast despite Obi's pairing with Atiku? Not even Obasanjo can't endorse him. Tell me which governor from Obi's region is working for him? Not even Soludo? E go clear for una eyes soon sha! |
puzzlegate:Peter Obi won't be president. Forget that he is younger. The other contenders are way better than him. It is not by wearing seeming same kind of dark native attires. This is Nigeria that we are talking about, not Anambra. What marks did he leave in Anambra? Name just one. Obiano can boast of an International Passenger and Cargo Airport; Awka City Stadium, International Convention Center etc, what are Obi's landmark projects? How can anyone claim to have saved N75b when the state's poverty index worsened during his term as governor? Do your research! |
Mandate2023:Not a fun place to live in... unfortunate but that's the stark reality. |
majamajic:Who cares? Just disprove the facts with superior facts if you ever can. |
mcmurphy132:That's the point! Someone who could not say or do anything, but just sat and watched a group of people take over his state in the guise of a separatist agitation. Things now have to be done on Sunday otherwise, it will have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday. This is serious. Go to Anambra and see how politicians hide out of fear. Even Obi himself feels safer in Lagos than Onitsha. |
God1000:Becoming.... That is not bad. Perhaps, by the time he 'becomes' the general elections would have been over. Fact is, Obi's performance in Anambra was below average. Not so much to campaign about. As someone from the Southeast, I am not impressed that Obi is who we think is the best, to project for the Nigerian top job. Quite a shame! |
Creeza:Oga, I don't need anyone's dime. Obi doesn't have what it takes to be Nigeria's president. It is not about shouting 'China, China'. Let's argue objectively now, if you can. I am from Anambra state. Where are you from? Obi was my governor for 8 years. I know Obi up to his hometown in Agulu. Can you do your research and tell me where Anambra stood in terms of poverty index before and after Obi's tenure as governor? Can you explain to me why Obi chose to preside over LGA funds rather than conduct LGA elections to enable local authorities take responsibility for their development? Can you explain why any right thinking governor will ( as he claimed, because Obiano denied it) prefer to save billions while poverty worsened in his state? What are Obi's landmark projects in Anambra? If you believed that Obi was too good as governor, why did Anambra people, not once but twice, reject persons he brought forward to become governor? |
seunmind44:Oga, if dem do the election ten times....Free and fair. Obi no go win even once. Nigeria isn't limited to the Southeast and Southsouth. There is a huge mistrust against the Igbos by people of the other 2 major ethnic nationalities, including by Igbos themselves. The so-called Obi movement is nowhere near the Buhari cult following in the North in 2003, 2007 and 2011. It took a Southwest alliance to turn that cult following into an electoral victory. Buhari went from winning zero number of states in the Southwest to winning 5 out the 6 states in 2015. My brother, Obi, as it stands today, cannot win any state in the Northwest, Northeast and Southwest. I doubt that he can win any in the Northcentral region too. Sincerely, I don't see how he can be president. |
Creeza:Mtchewww. You are still a learner. Obi won't be president. Wait for the campaigns to commence next month...then you'd know that Obi is still only a boy. |
stanluiz:Oga, Osinbajo can't handle Nigeria. It is not by being fluent in English. Nigeria go choke am. E be like say you no sabi Nigeria. |
