OsunOriginal: Na only south-east needs road rehabilitation? Stupid tribalistic Igbo man.

And why are you complaining? Is the man in Aso rock not one of your own - Azikwe Abele Jonathan? Stupid good for nothing animals.
Foooooolish moderator will not see this nasty comment now, but when it is challenged he will ban the comment, what is wrong with someone saying his mind? Were the Igbo people the only tribe that voted for GEJ? or South East don't belong to Nigeria again? Mr. or Miss Moderator, for leaving this comment till this time shows that you are a BIGOT. If Igbo people are animals for voting for GEJ, then Yorubas are BEASTS because there is no Yoruba name if GEJ names. Ban my comment, I don't bloody care.

naptu2: Before 1991 the President's Abuja residence was Aguda House. After 1991 Aguda House became the Vice President's residence.

The government decided to build another residence for the vice president and convert Aguda House to a presidential guest house.

Yar'Adua's government then gave the vice president's residence to the chief justice. They Vice President stayed at Aguda House.

Now the government wants to build a new residence for the vice president and convert Aguda House into a guest house again.
Why can’t the Aso rock contain both the President and the Vice? After all they told us to manage and bear the economical hardship till the economy improves. Do they know that family of 12 park themselves in a small room in Nigeria? Waiting for when the messiah economic recovery bla bla will materialize. Does it mean that the accommodation of the politicians is more important than Nigerians in general? This amount of money can build as many houses that will house 80% of Nigerians. This fund will be wasted for a single man and his family, adding to the ones he acquired fraudulently. Why can't this fund be used for the construction of the railway link to the South East or other non completed areas? Sorry for Nigeria.

You will live long, truth is bitter , but it is sweeter than lies. If your salary can not sustain you, mere overtime will never sustain you. From January till December, only 2 weeks holidays will never make Imo state to be better than USA,CHINA,JAPAN,GERMANY. God bless my Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha, and those who say the truth. Mery Xmass to you and entire non tribalistic bigots Nairalaners in advance.2013 is a sure year of great success to us all.
PoliticsRe: Rochas Declares 2-Weeks Christmas Holiday In Imo by COOLDUN: 3:16am On Dec 22, 2012
Anything you do in Nigeria must attract critics, why? If a governor of a state can disappear for a whole 3months, why can’t the workers who have been working since January 2012 have a rest for only 2 weeks? Owelle Rochas Okorocha should be left alone by these monsters and their cohorts , Ohakim and his PDP party worked from January to January for a whole 4 years, what did he achieve in Imo state? Achike Udenwa the same. After 8 years.

What about the politicians that spends months in their luxury hotels and homes abroad for no just reasons? If these opposition parties and their co distracters don’t give this Governor time to do his work in Imo state, thunder will fire all of them and their respective useless families. Check his achievements in this year alone and compare it with the 4 and 8 wasted years of those rouges, including the dead grand master thief Evans Enwerem.

If Imo civil servants are given 2 weeks to rest, it is not bad, after all many states in Nigeria had their own holidays January this year 2012, during the shabby fuel subsidy jamboree by the rouge NLC/TUC co-partners in crime. Let the Imo civil servants have their own holidays now. Long live my able Governor, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha, Owelle Ndigbo Gburugburu. Long live the Imo state. Long live Nidigbo . Long live our well wishers. Merry Xmas and prosperous new and free subsidy hoax 2013, in advance. Amen.

thelastPope: I always laugh when I see corrupt masses of Nigeria posting on NL that God is punishing our leaders. Like they are saints! Most of these folks posting here are criminals and yahoo boys. Others are credit card and arangee marriage fraudsters in diaspora. If God really wants to punish Nigeria, most of you posting here will be in serious trouble. Nigeria as a country and Nigerians as a people need to repent. Even if all the governors in Nigeria drop dead this moment, how will that change Nigeria? The new governor of Kaduna state and that of Nasarawa, how different are they from their predecessors? They might even be worse!

It is funny how peeps on NL reason!
No one is claiming saint here my friend, if it happens like that you too is not exempted, if you are not from the devilish ruling class.

Before you call all the nairalanders/Nigerians you must first of all trace the origin of these exploded criminal attitudes of Nigerians. I am not in support of crime/criminals, but the way you sounded in your comment shows that you are among the criminals in Nigeria also. Those who made life hard for people through bad governance, make crimes and violence possible in Nigeria.

Bible made us to know that we should suffer witches/wizards not to live. The ruling class in Nigeria has openly made the less privileged Nigerians to know that, they are their enemies, so they should not expect anything but curses and evil wishes from the masses. I used to read many hypocrites saying ordinary mouth prayers for the sick rulers, in pretense of, you should pray for your enemies, arrant nonsense. If you know what to do to save rulers in Nigeria, better let them know that Nigerians are no longer happy and comfortable with their lives and existences as rulers in Nigeria.

The time of pretence is gone. No one is a saint, but the politicians never include their imperfections in their electoral speeches and promises. They never told Nigerians that they are criminals during their campaigns, they did not tell Nigerians that 1billion naira is not enough to feed them and their elephant children during their campaign, neither did they tell Nigerians that they will spend billions of naira for the importation of generators, while they assured them of constant power supply when elected into office. They never told Nigerians that they will be frequenting German and India hospitals at any slightest head ace when voted into power.

They never told Nigerians that their children will be sent to Togo, Benin, Ghana, Burkina Faso, India and Malaysia for studies when they are voted into power. They never told Nigerians that without constant increment of fuel prices, they cannot rule the country during their campaign. They never told Nigerians that any strike or call for transparency in the Oil sector would lead to an artificial fuel scarcity as the punishment for asking how their oil industry is run. They did not tell Nigerians that the Tokumbo private jets will replace the cars when they are voted into power. They did not tell Nigerians that cars above 8 years will not enter Nigeria, while the airplanes that are above 70 years will be imported into Nigeria without being disturbed. They did not tell Nigerians that the best way to handle criminals and terrorists is to negotiate with them, and settle them with too much money, and lucrative contracts, even giving them licenses to import arms for our military.

Guy in fact you and your co government officials in Nigeria, are not supposed to be met as the first persons in the early mornings. Keep on waiting for good will prayers from the Nigerians ok.
PoliticsRe: TB Joshua Prophesied That Children Would Be Killed In USA by COOLDUN: 10:48pm On Dec 17, 2012
I don’t know why we Nigerians upon all our education and exposures, still we cannot differentiate between prophesy, guessing, and prediction. Prophesy is when a prophet /prophetess, tells what will happen, when it will happen and the cause of the happenings, it should be accurately prophesized and not when someone ask you your problems you narrate all your problems and he/she will start telling you rubbish. Again when someone knows the happenings in a particular person, place or thing and capitalize there to be telling people rubbish. Eg, everyone even a kid in the womb knows that America is full of gun related violence, Nigeria is full of all the crimes and violence in this world, who doesn’t know that Boko Haram will still strike again in Nigeria? Or, that there will be another gun shooting in the USA again?

Why didn’t TB Joshua tell the exact place the recent school shooting took place before it happened? Why didn’t he tell the dead governor/NSA not to take the crashed helicopter before they did? Why is all his prophesies linked to deaths and dooms? Why is it after the casualties, he reminds people of his prophesies? Why didn’t he prophesize about this bad government that is bringing Nigeria to it’s kneels before the 2011 election? Great prophets/prophetesses in the bible worked with people to defeat the bad rulers, why are new prophets/prophetesses work with bad rulers against the people? All these fake prophets/prophetesses should go and sit down, and stop deceiving the ignorant people. I know a good prophet/prophetess when I see one.

Let them tell us exactly what, when, where, and who something will happen to and at before it happens. Let them tell one good thing that will happen in the future, than claiming glories when bad things had happened already.

Otseh: This xmas festival is becoming something else. why are people doing all negative things to celebrate it ? was that how christ celebrated it , if at all he did. people are scared of december because of the evils that comes with it in the name of xmas.
Christ never celebrated Christmas , he never mentioned of it nor told anyone to celebrate it, the only celebration which he Christ directed us to celebrate is Easter, in this word he said that we should celebrate his body as bread and his blood as a wine. Christmas was introduced by the Romans, till this moment no one could ascertain the real root of Christmas , Christians celebrate Christmas except the Jehovah Witness that only celebrate the Easter, as directed by Christ in the bible. It is a pity that both pagans and wicked Christians have hijacked the Christmas celebration as the time of evil perpetuations, in their quest for an illegal wealth hunting. The time which every Christian supposed to meditate and thank God for giving us his only begotten son, has turned out to be the time of deaths, pains, sorrows and mourning to the people of Africa, mostly Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: Azazi, Yakowa Die In Helicopter Crash? by COOLDUN: 5:51am On Dec 16, 2012
Nigeria I am very sorry for you as a nation, your second name now is Violence, while your surname is Careless Deaths. Imagine where the citizens are now celebrating the deaths news of their rulers, oh yes, I won’t blame them because the rulers believe that their man made immunities covers them for death. India has turned to the preferred obituary destinations for the rulers and their families. Main roads are the death traps for the masses, while air crash has become the most preferred deaths for the rulers. Those who made our roads non motorable, has made air crash inevitable.

You can never have everything at the same time. This will show you the Evil/Satanic rulers that what makes everyone equal is death, no matter how it comes, and where it occurs, 6 feet is the last mansion for everybody. If the wives of the Taraba, Kaduna, and Enugu states governors were told that they will vacate the government houses of their respective states this period would they ever agree? May their souls rest wherever they deserve, according to their deeds in this world. Amen.

The most annoying thing is that we Nigerians do not learn from the history/experience. All of these thieves are busy buying private jets, very soon the Nigeria sky would be congested with their fleet of private jets, and they will be colliding with each other. ANIMALS.

In well structured societies, people won't move on, rather they ll prosecute their past corrupt leaders, strip them of every national honour/ title, woe them, disgrace them to the fact that some family members would change their names. But here you all worship/praise them and award them titles. Nonesense
Don’t mind them OBJ was bad while in power, but today he is celebrated by fools who defend him at any slightest criticism. Some claim he has guts while power, and blame his pauper GEJ for being weak. These fellows forget that without someone like GEJ, the corruption in Nigeria will never continue the way it is increasing every second in Nigeria today. How can a boy fight someone who places him somewhere to protect and defend his interests? OBJ and GEJ is the same person. Hoping to see changes from GEJ is just like dreaming of drinking an ocean dry. Any house that fights each other is divided; the criminals in Nigeria political scene are well co-ordinated and programmed, they are speaking with one voice, they are everywhere, Churches, Mosques, Social sites, nairaland, Streets, and Markets. That is why they always bring distractions whenever important issues/topics are raised about corruption Nigeria. Anyone that celebrates OBJ is never against GEJ, because you can never hate Devil and Love Mammy Water.

This is a sign of gradual graduation of the criminals in Nigeria. This is a commendable achievement from the kidnappers; at least the rulers will now know that the threat of insecurity is no longer a child’s play. Kidnappers and armed robbers if you people can continue with these enemies of the nation/masses, in fact you will be voted in the next election, Dear kidnappers please make sure that no kobo would be removed from the ransom.

Hold the woman till she will be able to experience what the citizens had been going through in the country, so that she can be able to talk senses into her daughter. I know that Mr. President is on top of the woman, sorry on top of the situation right now, or under the situation. I told the rulers earlier that, if goat finishes the yams of the persons in the extreme end, it will face the yams of the persons in the middle.

A CHILD, WHO SAID THAT HIS PARENTS WILL NOT SLEEP, MUST BE READY TO BE THE WATCH NIGHT. Madam NOI, If you were told that your mother will one day leave her luxurious home and sleep with the rugged boys in an uncompleted building today, would you agree? This is how is gonna be soon to all of you when the masses decide to take back their country. Where is Ghadafi and Sadam Hussein today? A word is enough for a wise!!!

Able Kidnappers , carry on your good jobs, your names has been shortlisted for the next year’s national Awards. Only be ready to settle the settleables, your sins will be forgiven with immediate effect. Ask Laman Farook, Ote, Otedola, Bank- Ole, criminality is the highest university Degree in Nigeria today. You have gotten your Masters already. Your PHD would be awarded soon, when you shift your operations towards the Aso Rock, there you can ask the Madam President how he got his PHD. It is in the Kingdoms that people see themselves as gods and leaders of themselves but in the living churches people see themselves as the servants of God almighty, who Jesus Christ is their leader.

Shut up your mouth with your local Ghana, who will you rule? I thought you people boast of being perfect in everything. Many Nigerians over rate Ghana because of mere hear say. All the corruption in Nigeria mostly originated from Ghana, first military coup in West Africa was recorded in Ghana, Impersonation, eg International Passport racketing was from Ghana, the image of Nigeria today got stained by Ghanaians when their economy collapsed they trooped to Nigeria, used our names and got Nigeria passports, began trafficking of drugs, prostitutes, strowway, when the image became rotten they went back and used their passport. Anywhere Ghanaians meet Nigeria outside the Africa continent they will be buying favors by back biting the Nigerians, so that they would be seen as the best people. Among the Anglophone countries in Africa, Ghana has the highest rate of illiterates. Go to Ghana and see things for yourself. Nigeria is not good but not to be compared with Ghana, only in Power supply Ghana can be seen better than Nigeria. This Ghana fellow in this nairaland have no shame at all.
Some people have totally been brainwashed to the level that they cannot think on their own anymore. So if you knew all the principles of God's blessings, how come you have not become the richest Nigerian. You guys should stop listening to the lies your jet-loving-pastors are feeding you with. So J-Martins is now a success because he did not collect his salary and the elevation God gave to him is to be singing "give me your fine fine love" and others. Some Nigerians will never cease to amaze me. Why wont your pastor prophesy such when he knew the guy was very good and would go places, plus he was happy not paying him.

Let me tell you, God's blessings most times is not even in monetary forms, its only Nigerians that go to church with expectations of what God will do for them, they never go there to worship him in true love and spirit, always expecting something from him, so its safe to say you lot don't really love Him. Trust me, if not for those expectations and miracles, most Nigerians will never step into any church.@OP----Okotie should pay the guy up, even if he never owed the guy, is it not only Christlike to help him with some money so he can continue his life, afterall he was very useful in the church. These pastors are very stingy.
Thank you very much for your great reasoning, must it be tithes and offerings that makes God to bless people? Many are paying tithes and offerings everyday looking for the fruits of the womb, while the mad women and the poorest women in the society are giving birth freely and safely without even knowing the church premises. You said clearly my dear that the quest for riches and success is the dominating reason why churches are always filled up every worshiping days. The blessings of God is absouletly free, when you worship him in truth and faith, love your neighbor as you love yourself.

The politicians in Africa have capitalized in this ignorance of our people to be dealing with us, because they know that we have forgotten our fundamental rights as the citizens, because we need our everything from God in heaven, than asking them about the blessings which God gave us at our respective towns and villages. If you look very well you would see that these so called GO of the big and influential churches are very close to the Rulers of this country.

Imagine someone who eats from the church calling a pianist a volunteer to God? Chei Nigeria, how does he give all the tithes and offering money to God in heaven? This is a sheer wickedness, a jobless fellow who plays an instrument that moves members of your church, with an empty stomach, while you visit both local and foreign banks every day with heavy amounts of cash. Which God is these so called men of God worship my people? Jesus Christ used 5 fishes and 7 loaves of bread which people donated as tithe and offering to feed multitudes, while our own pastors use theirs to oppress the multitudes. This was a man who has been contesting to rule this country, instead of him to pay this young man off; he prefers to use more money to intimidate him.

If anyone wants to work for Christ, the fellow must emulate Christ in Love, simplicity, and humility, he is the Way, Truth and Life.
Which way Nigeria?

First ladies (presidents' wives- past and present) talk about less privileged. Governors' wives talk about NGO with emphasis on less privilege. Yet, we still have them everywhere and they are getting worse off daily.
I think all these NGOs are using the platform to enrich the pockets of the people that set them up.
Uncountable NGOs with no meaningful impact.

There are three business ventures to be rich in Nigeria nowadays. 1:Politics,2: Church openning, 3: NGO, then if you can't have the patience to wait for these business ventures to mature, then you enter the fastest lane: Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Bunkering,Ritual Killing. eldoradoxx: Its only in Nigeria that there is nothing like market trend that sees prices go up and down depending on market forces. Dangote has actually proved that rather than allow glut in supply force the price of cement down, he would rather mop up supply by draining the market of supply and pushing market price of cement upward. That is economic sabourtage!!! I know his reference to South East is directed at Chief Cletus Ibeto of Ibeto cement whose cement is chasing Dangote cement out of that seriously developing region. Dangote should live and let live.
Do not mind the illiterate and myopic business man; imagine a man that was given the 2nd highest Award that is for the Vice president of the country, crying because his product is competed with another citizen of the country. This crook is happy that Nigerians are suffering because of his monopoly of business in Nigeria right? All these is one of things we shall expect from the deregulated oil sector when people like Dangotes are given the license to build refineries , as we are made to believe that there will be a competition of products and prices. In India a bag of cement is sold at 150 INR which is about 450 naira, it was 100 INR, before it was increased recently to the new price.

But the giant of Africa is selling it at 2,000 Naira; still this terrorist is not satisfied. This is why the criminals that were awarded the license to build refineries turned around and become importers of refined fuel from abroad. Shame, shame, shame. GEJ, if you like fold your arms and smile like a snail that is brought out from its shell, one day soon Dangote will be dragging your Commander In Chief with you. Even ask you to make his wife the first lady, because he is a shylock investor. Ordinary people and group of people own cement producing companies in India, while in Nigeria it is only one man that is representing the ex Commander in Thieves of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Bunch of rougues.

You and your colleagues have succeeded in eliminating the middle class status in Nigeria with your good leadership. Thank you for that.

Many Nigerians no longer remember the dates they were born, talk less of celebrating their birthdays. But today you are celebrating your service age of 52yrs. big congratulation and more grease to your elbows, which you are always using to elbow us to submission to your tales by moon light, oil and energy reforms. If this news is true, then the federal government should send a powerful delegates headed by IBB and OBJ to the families of Oyenusi, Lawrence Anini, Monday Osunbor, George Iyamu, Sina Rambo, Rondo Rondo, Osisikankwu and Otokoto respectively to apologise to the families with huge financial compensation , including the GFCON awards to the heads of each member of their families. If person like this Criminal could be hornored with an Award of any kind in Nigeria today. This is the reason why I don’t have regards to the so called Nigerian students of nowadays. These are the cultists that rewarded their chief sponsor with a criminal Award. Can we have the names of the Stupident or Student leaders that issued out this useless and meaningless Award? Look at their reasons, that he has been empowering and supporting the youths. Who are these youths, apart from the Armed Robbers, Ritual Killers, Kidnappers that are using the Nigeria universities as their dens. The ladies that participated in the Award are these ones the graduate with their Abuna/handouts. Cultists honoring a Thief imagine that.
Idk what you read but what i read and was taught in school is that zik was the first president of Nigeria. Anyway to explain my question, all I'm saying is glancing at the rulers and their region, none have benefitted from "their own, their brother, etc" ruling this nation therefore why would any igbo advocate for an Igbo ruling. How will it benefit us? What is una see that i cannot? As far as I'm concern, there are wayyyy more important things to worry about than presidency.
Now I understand your question very well my dear, you are right that Zik was the first president of Nigeria and the first indigenous Governor general of Nigeria as well, but the fact remains that his presidency had nothing to do with power, it was just like our present day Vice President, who have no constitutional power to act while the President is in the office, healthy and active. Then Prime minister of Nigeria had all the political and constitutional power as the present day President of Nigeria. I am not challenging your intelligence my dear, I only let you to know that Zik had no much power to do what he is blamed of, though he was worldly respected because of his intellectual qualifications, but the British colonial masters who were not happy of the independence of Nigeria, handed over the leadership to the people they could remote and influenced.

Coming to the Igbo presidency issue, I am in full support of your opinion as regards to the contesting of the next election by an Igbo man. Left to me alone I would have advised all the Igbo politicians to face the much challenges we have at the South East geopolitical zone for now, than wasting their energies in pursuing what might distract their attention, eg people like Owelle Rochas Okorocha should continue his rescue mission in Imo state, while other states should try to vote in the competent people to complete or correct the performances of their already tenure served Governors.

I am an Igbo like you; I do apologize if you find my comment annoying as I never meant to offend you with it. I plead to you to correct me whenever you see any mistake or wrong information in any of my quotes and comments, as it will be highly welcomed, because no one is above mistake, rather does anyone has the monopoly of wisdom. Thank you.
