You are crazy my sister.
1. Not sure what Jim Crow has to do with Nigerians or Africans.

2. Are you implying that black men, who were the VICTIMS of that era, were also the cause?

Nne drop that weed. Your paper tiger black activists (who are bitter and useless) have not improved the lives of black Americans. They have strayed away from the real messages of MLK, Malcolm X, and Fannie Lou Hamer.

Datboredberry:
Go tell black women thank you for this...

Slavery/colonisation... segregation... Jim Crow...

All through... Black women have been the reason black men have existed, persevered and would continue to do so...

Do you have any data to back the first assertion up? All people generally prefer to marry within their race/nationality.

Datboredberry:
what's my relationship got to do with this? undecided

Black men date out of their race way more than black women do!!! You think I feel guilty for doing so too? grin
The more you talk/type, the more you self expose.

Datboredberry:
I'm not a traitor... And black men are the one people I wouldn't hesitate to betray cause I couldn't give a fcck about them or their hypocritical opinions...especially of me.

The reason I could never betray or deliberately hurt black men... Is because I value them as black people... Your image rubs off on mine, so I keep it spotless...

As for black men as individuals... I don't place them on a pedestal... The only saving grace you have is your black skin... Because I'm a pan-African!!!
So stop writing trash!
One look at a random thread will show people claiming to be both genders writing trash. You included.

I'm a Nigerian, born and bred. I've never seen scam as normal. Frankly, I didn't even know that a lot of scams happen in Nigeria until recent years.

Some companies, tech, do not hire Nigerians at all. Company policy. Yet, they will hire Indians, Pakistanis and Chinese. Why? They see scams as a Nigerian thing even though the Nigerian scammers are just a drop in the bucket.

dominique:
Smh Nigerians and blame shifting. So by digging out crimes committed by other nationals dampens the fact that the average Nigerian is criminal minded, lacks integrity and transparency and looks for ways to swindle his fellow man? Corruption has eaten into almost every institution and establishment, I've almost completely lost hope in the country and it's people. Just yesterday I was hearing that some government hospitals are collecting as high as 100k bribe from med students for internship placement.

Yes scam exists everywhere but Nigerians see it as a norm, a way of life. Rather than seeking solace in the fact that other countries engage in fraudulent activities, let's change our mindset regarding fraud, sharp practices, bribery and corruption in general.

As suspected, you are dating out of the race and, for whatever reason, you probably feel like a race traitor. Aunty, nobody cares. There is no need to join the bitter race baiters who like more and more hate on black men.

Just because you have concerned yourself (or perhaps wrongly assumed) with African men who are timid and colo-mental (colonial), does not mean that is the norm. There is no black men I know who is self loathing. Regardless of whether they date fellow African, black or non black women.

Have you left the internet, because everything you raise is meme lords trolling on social media.
Datboredberry:
You want to be an idiot tonight? It doesn't suit you. If you need a receipt for black men's self-loathing, search no further! You may read this thread and the comments of your brothers giving dumbass reasons why they have the right to grovel and shed off their masculinity for white women... undecided

I'm not race baiting... I'm definitely not shattered... Unlike most black men, I'm a PROUD African woman.

I'm not a feminist... That's for the privileged, hypocritical, white women from first world countries who couldn't give a fcck about me... I'm a womanist... Pro-black women... Pro-blackness... Pan-African.

I don't need to search for reasons to hate black men... On the other hand, I'm desperate seeking for any redeeming qualities...

Black men ain't shit... Because most don't think they are... But I do... I think black men are worth more than the pound of salt the usually sell themselves for...

You are lying. Either from ignorance or malice.

I believe, in the USA, 90% of black men prefer or are married to black women.

And this ish of women who have "stood by you" is a ridiculous meaningless statement. One can find numerous instances of black women messing their black men up.

Are you a swirler who is just seeking justification?
Datboredberry:
Omg! Black men are more likely to date out of their race... Didn't I make it abundantly clear that I'm a fan of interracial relationships?

The issue is why these black men lower their so-called standards while dating white women... And why they insult black women who are identical to them... And why the feel the need to condemn black women's blackness...

Date white women... You would be one of the million black men doing that... But you don't need to come back to shit on the women who've stood by you...

Because why you get shot by your white girlfriend's racist dad... Guess who's gonna march on the streets with your face on our tee-shirts protesting for justice? Black women...

In the world world, we're the only ones who think black men matter...not just your joysticks...but as human beings...

So give a little respect and regard to those whom you always have a home with...

Not saying you should do anything much... Atleast feel ashamed even for yourself when you go to a crowd of white people to condemn black women...
Romance › Re: Why Do Most Black Men Hate Black Women? by cooooooks(m): 1:30am On Nov 14, 2021
Your self loathing statements are cringe.

Smh.
Datboredberry:
You asked a dumb question if black women love themselves....

Black men are pretty nasty to themselves also...

So what's your point? I asked why black men worship women they haven't met simply because they are of a different race... Black women date out too... But you hardly see us making comments on black men and how they are inferior to white men...

I say it's self-loathing... The typical mental slavery most blacks suffer of...

What's your excuse? Cause you're just going in a circle.
Romance › Re: Why Do Most Black Men Hate Black Women? by cooooooks(m): 1:29am On Nov 14, 2021
Just because you disrespect black me. Does not mean that black men disrespect their women. Stop projecting.
Datboredberry:
yet black men tend to give more respect to white women than their fellow black men... undecided
Romance › Re: Why Do Most Black Men Hate Black Women? by cooooooks(m): 1:29am On Nov 14, 2021
You are unfortunately making crazy statements that are completely untrue.

Most black men marry black women. Most Nigerians marry Nigerians, whether they are in Nigeria or not.

Datboredberry:
Makes me die on the inside...

It's not even because of despicable things they say or the disrespect they give...

But the fact that black women are out there supporting a crap-load of ungrateful, self-hating, white worshipping losers... cry

Every woman should be proud of the men of their race... But black men come out to humiliate black women and in doing so, sell themselves out...

It's like, do black women even have allies in these things?

So called alphas who can't even stand by their women... undecided

I'm very pro-black... It's is sad sorry fact that the appreciation most black women get are from men of different races...

What did I expect from men who marry 60yr olds for green cards..?
Romance › Re: Why Do Most Black Men Hate Black Women? by cooooooks(m): 1:27am On Nov 14, 2021
You are sheltered. Which black men are you meeting?

Are you projecting your 'colo' mentality (colonial) onto phantom black men?

Datboredberry:
Black men don't marry white women.... I never claimed they did...

I even made a point that those who've never met a white person usually the ones spearheading the campaign against black women...

Black man has sex with one white woman... And he would sing her praises like a bird... undecided
Romance › Re: Why Do Most Black Men Hate Black Women? by cooooooks(m): 1:25am On Nov 14, 2021
Sounds like a race baiting sheltered African lady who has bought into new world "feminism" and is looking for a way to hate black men.

If you are seeing this phantom hate, it is because you want and expect it. You want to be able to say "black men ain't shit"; and feel like you made sense.

Datboredberry:
I've noticed how black men love to pull black women down... undecided

Last night, I was reading ilamina's topics cause I was bored and I think most were funny.

I came across the comments of two men, on a particular thread, who were dissing Nigerian women. They went on about the few white women they've had sex with... How perfect white women therefore are... And how Nigerian girls are so unhygienic... And so forth...

To me, it all reeks of self-hate... And ignorance.

Most black men are deliberately blind to racism...they prefer to ignore the fact that on the social ladder, they come last...

They have zero knowledge of the past... Before the Europeans came to Africa, during the trans-atlantic slave trade and colonialism... And even now... Black women have stood supportive of black men while they were beaten, lynched, stripped off every iota of self-pride... At your very worse, no matter where you are, every black man knows he has a home in a community of black women...

So why the hate towards the only people who've fought by you since the very beginning and who would probably never stop because of their love, loyalty and respect... Even to those undeserving of them...

I've always hated to see black men come out to saw the most awful things about black women...

Black men do everything wrong... The most despicable which is when they insult the good-looks of black women.

Men with broad noses, high foreheads, full lips, type 4 hair... Look at a mirror image of themselves and call it ugly... It's cringe...

There's nothing wrong with dating someone of a different race... But if you do it because you think black women don't compare, then you have a chronic case of mental slavery...

If you think the women who you birthed you, you grew up and played with, you had your first kiss with... Are somehow inferior to women of a different race... Then you have no respect for yourself...

Personally, I've dated men of different races... But I could never think of stooping so low to even write a single bad think of black men...

Yet black men date one white woman and they are all over judging and criticizing black women.

The worse comes from black men who haven't even said a word to a white person in their entire lives!!!

They watch a lot of blacked porn, listen to loads of biased opinions from their mates then instantly take up the role of head-slave... Berating black women and their blackness...

If you date white women, it's great... I date white men... And many other black women do...

But while dating white women, there's no need for you to grovel... To shame your race, culture or ethnicity just to please your white partner... It's absolutely unnecessary for you to make your interracial relationship somehow still revolve around black women... You're not hurting anyone, just making a fool of yourself...

Most black men...

So am trying to raise the money for her and send to the person she borrowed.

Just last week, she showed me a pix of a gown that her friend sells.

I told my gf to give me some space and break.
She glared up. Said somethings to me and told my friends that I broke her heart.

Plz judge from my story if I what I did was wrong.
Sorry my story might be long.

I have been dating my gf for about 3 years now. I have the plans of marrying her by next year. Our both family knows about our intention.

But off recent, things haven't been all rosy for me and it's affecting my relationship with her.

Everything was going fine until I started a new business that am pushing. I got a new product from another state and began bringing it into my state of residence. It's not a fast moving goods, so it's difficult to market and I believe once the goods gets acceptance, it's going to move very well and the profit is promising.

So right now all I do is to push and push. And pumping money also. All these my gf knows about. In other to expand the biz a little, i got a loan of 1.5 million wch I added to the biz. The loan is to be paid back around march and I pay the person 100k per month.

Also to add, I work in a company that pays me 130k per month. So I use 30k for my monthly up keep and send 100k for loan repayment.

I must confess, since I started the biz things haven't been easy for me. I usually make sales from the biz, but right now I put all the money back to the biz just so that I won't run it down cos profit haven't started coming yet. Am still in the stage of putting in more money.

Couples should decide on ONE legal marriage.

Do that one and continue your life.

BabaIbo:
This post is for intending grooms.

I made this post because it was one of the major reasons I parted with my ex(it was a serious relationship) few years ago, then I wasn't financially stable as I am now, so my decision was inline with my capability then. She told me she won't move in with me unless I do church wedding even after the trad. and she was serious about it. She wasn't ready to reason with me.

Considering the fact that majority of the men( those within the marriageable age range and above but are not financially stable enough to run everything at once) have the plan of doing the white wedding first, later on do the church wedding when they are more financially stable.

This led me to running a check recently and I find out that in some homes or families, they don't allow their daughters to move in with their husbands even after the men have paid their bride prices, until the church(or white) wedding has been done.

Dear single men, what do you think about this?
Can you cope with it until you're ready for your church wedding?

To the married ones, did you experience this?
How were you able to handle it?

MODs, please do the needful.

Some stuff you could say:
- Friendship is not lost because of marriage. We are friends, and I'd like us to stay friends.
- I have been clear from the beginning of our friendship that I won't date or marry a married man. Tell me where you got it confused.
- That this childish reaction to the next chapter of my life is hurting and disrespectful. In fact, I am disappointed.
- I'm always here for you as I take you like a bigger brother. Crack a joke about how big brothers should be happy when their sisters get married.

Years passed, he became so close to my family and everybody around me. He comes to my house, gist with my mum, siblings and my family members are very accommodating.
I had my boyfriend whom everyone knows, that I have nothing with this man.
he support me financially some times. I have been helpful as well in my own ways. most times, I helped him out with cooking, even followed him to supper market to pick beautiful clothes (wears) for his wife and children. I have known this man for about 4 yrs now, but never have I had intimat.e relationship with him. He's like a big brother to me although he deeply loved me and have asked me out severally, but i have never involved myself with him s.exuallly.

This man have been so good to me, but now, I want to get married and he's so angry with me, he appears so hurt and heartbroken. He's behaving as if I betray his love. He's acting as if nothing mean anything to him any more. He almost lost his job last week due to lack of concentration. He takes his job carelessly now,

Is ignoring him at this point the best option?

So I got a customer care job in a health company paying$15, but before getting the job, I already contacted some bakery job agencies. And two weeks in they called me for a job at bakery. The bakery pays $18. Stupid me left my customer care job, rushed to$18 bakery job, it's a 12hours job.
In this new job, we work straight for hours without breaks, omoh, this thing wan kill me.

Now the gist

Omoh, after working for 3hours, e be like say I don dey see heaven. No breaks or rests in between. When one man(African but white in colour) see say I wan die, he con whistle for my hear say, make I say I wan go use rest room.
Immediately,I quickly ran to meet the woman in charge say, I wan pee
She granted me permission, and I went to pee

After I rest finish,I came back, after 15min, the woman beside me (Chinese), asked if I wanted WATER, and I should go and drink. To cut it short, most of them were giving me excuses to rest, and I don't know why everyone there seems so nice

Now the KOKO
The Koko be say, the women we work together, told me they don't like going for washroom breaks because it's too far and they will need to climb stairs, and prefer to wait till we close from work.
