Disclaimer: I'm not a legal professional

First of all, don’t take a loan you can’t afford to repay. You damage your reputation, creditworthiness and goodwill.

That being said, if your company is a limited liability company (Ltd) and you borrowed the loan with your company, it's possible you can file for bankruptcy, that debt is on the company, not you personally, but also that may show what a bad manager you were. The court can ask the bank to recover the company's assets including the ones in your possession, but your personal finances (like salary and allowances) that don’t belong to the company will be protected. You should speak to a lawyer about this and provide them with all the information you have.

If your company is a sole proprietorship then you may be personally liable. Also, speak to a lawyer to get the best advice and see if your lawyer can help you negotiate a repayment plan with the bank. The idea is to take responsibility and repay the debt, and also avoid a bad credit history.

The Legal Aid Council of Nigeria offers free legal services, consult with them if you can't afford a lawyer, and see if they can help you. They have offices all over the country including your location (SW):

I saw McGreen Ltd but I really can't recommend them nor know any other insolvency trustees.

You might need to get a bankruptcy lawyer:

Problem may be that you're too small but call/email anyway.

The way people turn mad because of burial, condolence gifts and properties is insane.

which rite? forget that thing when it comes to sharing anything that is when you get to know the character of someone,. Why is it a problem if the property is to be shared? Cos if property is to be among five people before, and now they are six it wouldn't make much of a difference. Being cool and being greedy are two different things. If he wants to stand by first son takes all, then his step brother takes everything!

People will just be giving useless "advice".

That's how he'll get a job and a background credit check will impugn his candidacy.

Or he'll apply for a visa or even his passport and be unsuccessful.

They are threatening you because they do not believe that you can't pay.

Before they gave you the loan, did you prove some form of wealth, proof of collateral, or a guarantor?

Did you have a registered company? See if you can file for bankruptcy, of company or/and person. You will likely never get a loan again but na so we see am.

I think their best option is something like 20k a month for 2 years. Might need a debt counsellor to draft that proposal.

They probably expect you to borrow to pay them. As far as I know, debt is not a criminal matter...but fraud is.

The below is my opinion based on previous research and discussion please give a quick google search before using.
Best ways by effectiveness.

- Abstinence. Side effects: porn damage (big issue in the Christian community these days).
- Condoms. Side effects: insensitivity, cost.
- IUD. I don't know of any side effect actually. STD transmission still possible.
- Hormonal. Side effects: Messes with hormones, differs but includes irregular or disappeared menstrual cycle, mood swings, lack of sexual desire.
- Getting busy. Work on extra projects. Work out like crazy. Be too busy for dating.

1. It is not uncommon for sex workers (who want to settle down) to work on converting a customer to a husband. Pregnancy is a perfect way to do this.

2. STDs are not uncommon. Purely on business terms, if you demand for or the seller shows a clean STD screen (provided you believe him/her), they will likely add that to the bill.

3. It is an incredible waste of money. I can understand going this route if it makes better financial sense; and you would spend the money on an "urgent 2k babe" anyway.

I've been on the other end of application letters.

This is quite common. However, people are generally willing to learn.

I suggest using futurelearn.com and some other teaching/learning platforms (Khan Academy, TDP Nigeria http://www.tdpnigeria.org/in-service/lm-teacher-guides-and-videos , )

If she is a subject teacher, she can focus on her subject. If she is an early education teacher, she can focus on the crafts, games, etc that engage young children. Bear in mind, Kindergarten to Pri 2 is VERY difficult to hire for. Perhaps she should pick a niche and perfect it.

Romance › Re: Here Is Why Nigerian Women Feel Entitled by cooooooks(m): 6:37am On Oct 26, 2021
Not every man is chasing ladies.

I strongly believe that guys should not chase anybody.

It's a losing battle. Of she's not actively interested in you, my brother move on.

Lightway:
Why are Women Entitled?

Most women are smarter than most men. Take it or leave it.

This is common sense. If I'm an indispensable asset to a company, I will always ask for promotions. Just the same way Messi has the biggest salary when he was in Barcelona. He was the best, he was wanted everywhere. The same thing with Ronaldo. He is great and he is paid the biggest.

Women are entitled because of the softness of their body, their breast, yansh, and puszy. Almost all men want these. No woman worked hard to get her breasts and body parts. They were born with it. For men, if you're born handsome, tall, with great hair, build a great body, you can get a lot of young girls, it's that simple. But remember that society now states that you have to chase a girl to get her. Before you have to prove yourself a man and you will be given a woman. Families will beg you to take their women. Fathers and Mothers will offer their daughters on a platter, but you won't have to approach these women or beg for their attention. Today, it's different.

The thing is that women don't always want sex, the same way men don't always want sex. They want money too. Working for money is hard and since men work for money and men want them, put two and two together, why not ask men for money. And there is a bonus, you won't have to give them sex, you can prolong it and make it look as if they will get access to your soft body and they will give you more money.

In fact, you can brainwash them and make them believe that they are nothing if they cannot cater to a woman. A real man will give a woman money, pay her bills and make her feel loved. Make it look as if all their achievements in life are only based on women and what they can do for women. It is called manipulation. The same way men manipulate their friends, brothers, enemies, bosses, and coworkers. Women also manipulate men. They make men believe that they are angels that can do no harm and that's why they hide to do cheat and do harm so that no man can know. They cry and men feel that an angel is crying and they want to stop her from crying, to protect and love her. In doing so, men think they will have access to the softness of her body.

Women are entitled because they are smarter than men. They are wiser when it comes to relationships. They get all the fun, se.x, the enjoyment they want when they are young and as they get older, they become caring and loving and get married. Kudos to all smart women.

Men have been brainwashed into believing that caring for a woman is their ultimate goal. That's only true in the world of old. The world is different. As a man, your value is not tied to your money. It is tied to your ability to lead your family, to keep your family afloat. To organize your family. To be the raging bull, even when you're broke. Testosterone for crying out loud. That's bad boys for you.

Post this on the family subforum as well as the medical sub.

I think there are things you could do, including IVF, and selective fertilization. There's also adoption.

I understand your vantage point.
Gbongwon1:
My people, I brought this issue here in other to probably get some dispassionate and candid advice.
My fiancé and I have been dating for about 4years now.
I officially proposed to her on the 8th September (ie last month) and she said Yes!

She informed me earlier that her genotype was "AS", I told her that I was "AA" even without any form of medical confirmation. I strongly believed I was "AA" as almost all my siblings who have gone for test turned out "AA".

Few weeks ago while discussing with one of my elder sisters, she told me she was "AS". That sent fear and doubts through me, If she is "AS" that means someone else could still be "As" in our family.

I finally summoned the courage to go for the test today. And my worst fear was confirmed.
I am "As" cry

I'm currently devastated, and depressed. I don't even know how to tell my fiancé. This would be too much for her.
Have called my sis already, she was sad about the report. Told me to let my babe know, but I should find away to break up with her as the risk of having a child with "SS" is high.

The thing is, I don't think I would be able to break up with her. Although I'm going to inform her about the result, probably not today.

Please, my nairaland friends. Is there a way we could proceed with the marriage and still have healthy kids. Make una help a brother in need cry

1. Keep your towel out of the bathroom.
2. Have a separate washcloth & towel for your face.
3. Use face cleansers separate from soap for your face. Wash your face at least twice a day.
4. Consider not using any cream or ointment on your face. Your skin may be too delicate.
5. If you're male, do not shave much. The beard hides the pimples and protects the skin. The blade is also rough and will create more pimples.
6. NUTRITION. Discuss with a dermatologist or/and nutritionist. Too much oil, peanuts, etc isn't good for ya.

Have compassion.

Do you think an adult wants to be bedwetting??

There may be reasons for it. At a talk in my church many years ago, we were told that sometimes, this is caused by childhood sexual abuse.

Work together towards fixing it. There are some incontinence drugs Sha. And obviously, limit food & drink after say 7 pm.

Promzy99:

proxitaly:
I'm writing this for the sake of those who feel compelled to get married. You're going to get married soon, you're engaged and your wedding is on few months or few weeks time but...
You're scared, your partner is abusive, you want to make your parents happy, it's the church image you want to protect or for one reason or the other something is ringing that monotone high pitched bell in your head...
RUN

I have a personal story of this. My immediate elder sister! It's so painful, she's going through what I can't let another's daughter pass through.
It happened that she was living with a pastor and got proposed to buy this brother. My parents were not in support but her pastor Daddy wanted a wedding in his church after a long while.
We her siblings were after her happiness because our parents reasons were that brother is not from their church and he's not Igbo. These for us is not reason why she shouldn't marry the man she loves.
We called her to a meeting, siblings without our parents. We asked her if she was being compelled in any way. She said 'loved brother and it is God's will for her. We prevailed on our parents who very reluctantly agreed. My mother especially was having a feeling that something is not right. My sister pushed us on.

We called a second meeting some months to the wedding. Her decision was resolute. We went on with the wedding. It was a huge success. Wedding presents alone was enough to set up someone in business. She's a good girl and everyone dotted on her, also got married a virgin.
A week after the wedding trouble everywhere! Brother showed his true colors. From one church panel to another, we the siblings have to hide these whole episodes from our parents. My mother is hypertensive and my father won't keep it to himself if he gets to hear of it. Thankfully my parents are in the village while my sister and brother lives in the town.
She now opened up to us. Mommy (Pastor's wife) was compelling her to get married to that brother. "If you miss this opportunity you may never get another, Don't listen to anybody" she told her. Pastor agreed with the wife. My sister didn't want to disappoint her pastor whom she's lived with all these years. She rather pleased her pastor and displeased herself including her family.
It's been four years now, she's not living with brother because of myriad of troubles. She's a no for divorce being a strong born again Christian. We only resort to prayers and hope...

Please break the relationship now and not the marriage later.
Pause it, run away, delay it, do anything but don't get married if you're not sure. Save your peace of mind for yourself.
