Bro must you comment on peoples post? If you need to won't you read well before responding? What are you arguing over, what's your point? I only asked if abstaining from any form blood intakes to body like blood transfusion is a sin or evil practice by the Jehovah witnesses. But check your response, you were saying another thing entirely. Kobojunkie: |
Kobojunkie:Are you saying abstaining blood transfusion is evil or a sin? I told you it's personal choice bro. If you like you can eat blood. |
Let say God prohibited the drinking of alcohol for christians, don't you think taking it via any means like injecting it to your body would violate His order? JWs take medications and use the hospital but they don't just take in blood in any form. If the only way was blood transfusion, they wouldn't go for it cos they believe that even if they die, they will resurrected and meet their loves one again in the future. I'm not yet a JW. I haven't been baptized. You can't say that it's a dogma, it's clearly a Bible concept. While growing up, my perception bout the JWs was bad cos of what i heard bout them. But it's not alright to judge base on other's opinion. Find out yourself. Christianity today is not in pure form. Our beliefs are influenced by Roman Catholic dogmas. But the JW strives to find and believe only the Truth. Dtruthspeaker: |
There's no point doing that bro. Just read your comments yourself. Kobojunkie: |
My advice is for you to go and study more. Isaiah 9:6 says "a government will be on Jesus shoulder". What did Jesus mean when he said in his model prayer "let your kingdom come", "let your will be done on earth"? Daniel 2 .....interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream 44“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, 45 just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.” When was this Kingdom (God's kingdom) created or when will it be created? Who are those that will rule with Jesus as kings? Are they only Israel? What bout the gentiles that served God with their life? Didn't revelation 5:9-10 show that people bought by Jesus blood are made priests and kings ? Didn't revelation 14:1-4 also suggest to you that the 144000 are the ones bought from mankind, from the earth to be kings? Are these things hard to comprehend? Aside the 144000 which other people will enter God's kingdom? Is there any? God purpose for man was to have dominion over the earth and multiply and live eternally on earth. Has God's plan for man changed? Does eternal life means a life in heaven? Psalm 37:29 29The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. Will this verse come true or God was lying? Psalm 37:11 KJV But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. I believe that when the kingdom of God comes to earth and restores everything, everyone on earth then will live eternally in abundance of peace, no more evil death sickness or pain... Kobojunkie: |
God’s View of Blood Blood is vital. Without it, none of us could live. As the Creator, God has the right to say how blood may be used. What has he said about blood? Can it be eaten or transfused? And how can you make good decisions on this matter? 1. What is Jehovah’s view of blood?Jehovah told his worshippers in Bible times: “The life of every sort of flesh is its blood.” (Leviticus 17:14) To Jehovah, blood represents life. Since life is a sacred, or holy, gift from God, blood is also sacred. 2. What use of blood does God forbid?Jehovah commanded his pre-Christian worshippers not to eat blood. (Read Genesis 9:4 and Leviticus 17:10.) He confirmed this command when the governing body instructed Christians to “keep abstaining . . . from blood.”—Read Acts 15:28, 29.What does it mean to abstain from blood? If a doctor told you to abstain from alcohol, you would not drink it. But would you eat foods that contained it or have alcohol injected into your veins? Obviously not. Likewise, God’s command to abstain from blood means that we should not drink blood or eat meat that has not been bled. Nor should we eat any food to which blood has been added. What about the medical use of blood? Some procedures clearly violate God’s law. These include the transfusion of whole blood or any of its main components—red cells, white cells, platelets, and plasma. Other medical procedures may not be a clear-cut violation of God’s law. For example, some procedures involve the use of fractions of one of the main components of blood. Other procedures involve the use of a person’s own blood. When weighing these options, each of us must make a personal decision.—Galatians 6:5. |
Kobojunkie:Your definitely the master i would like to bow to. Send me your location, i wan come bow to you. You just talk without reasoning. I'm done with you cos you act like person wey de smoke weed always jumping into discussion to force your personal opinion. Your points are contradicting and that shows how confused you are. I didn't mean any offence bro. But it was fun arguing with you. Go and search for the truth, don't cling to your pastor's ideas. Bye. |
[quote author=Kobojunkie As for the 144,000, John, the one who spoke of them to you made it more than clear to any dingbat out there that they are, all of them, from from 12 tribes of Israel... according to the calculations given you by John, that is 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel yielding a total of 144,000. Your attempts at pretty much usurping or changing a list defined by John not only reveals you no longer care for truth and authenticity but that the delusion is strong with you. ![]() If you chose to allow fools out there deceive you with lies of their list is more authentic than John's, then I have no option but to congratulate on successfully allowing a fools delude you.
I'll have to address this topic on the 144000 then readress your other questions and points again since you said they are not worth considering.Note that my response was long because I quoted many verses from the scriptures. Revelation 14:1-4 14Then I saw, and look! the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who have his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.2I heard a sound coming out of heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder; and the sound that I heard was like singers who accompany themselves by playing on their harps.3And they are singing what seems to be a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one was able to master that song except the 144,000, who have been bought from the earth.4These are the ones who did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones who keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruitsto God and to the Lamb, The emphasis i added is to show that the 144000 are not just Israelites but from saints all over the world. Did you also notice that the 144000 are in heaven with Jesus. Therefore it's logical to say they resurrected with a different body like Jesus before they could be in heaven. "For flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of God". Revelation 5:9, 10 9And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,10and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.” You see that the 144000 are those Jesus promised that they will be with him in his kingdom. And before entering the kingdom they would be born or baptized by the holy spirit. Note that only born agains are qualified for God's kingdom but not all of them will be choosen cos only 144000 are needed. |

Hismasterpiece: Check this link bro to see Hebrew perspective of what human beings are composed of. https://www.ancient-hebrew.org/definition/soul.htm |
Hismasterpiece:Thanks for the link. I know your intention was to explain things clear to me, i sincerely appreciate it. I won't be able to address all your points in that your post but i will just summarize my response here. Genesis 2:7 nlv [7]Then the lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. You quoted this verse but i don't think you understand it. It's very clear bro, before God breath into Adam he was a lifeless body made from dust. But he became a living being/soul/person after God breath into him. Ecclesiastes 12:7 [7]For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. Maybe you don't know that the same spirit or breath of God gives everyone both the good and bad people life. And when this spirit or breath leaves, our life ends. Job 33:4 NLV 4For the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Now concerning God's punishment for Adam. God said to them in Genesis 2:17 "except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” First did God mention physical or spiritual death? It's obvious that Adam was a physical body unlike God himself and the angels who are spirit beings. What happened after they ate the forbidden fruit? What did God say will happen to them? Genesis 3:19 [19]By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return.” The time they died doesn't matter cos they still died and if they hadn't sin they would have lived eternally. Thus the spirit or breath is a power from God that gives us life not another part of us that is independent. Where did you see any clue that they had spirit that didn't die or lived after them? If their spirit continues to live after they died where are they now, heaven or where? Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 [5]The living at least know they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, nor are they remembered. [10]Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. John 5:28-29 [28]Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son, [29]and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment. If we continue to live in heaven after we die, why is there need for resurrection? When Lazarus Jesus' friend died, do you think Jesus would resurrect him if his spirit was already enjoying in heaven? No cos when Lazarus died the breath or spirit left him and he was in the grave decaying. But Jesus raised him and he of course died again asleep in death also awaiting resurrection. |
Jehovah witnesses don't believe in any form of hell. Who tell you this one. But it's true they don't engage in blood transfusion and it's biblical. Abeg make ona confirm something before spreading rumors. Niflheim: |
Kobojunkie:I presume you understand now that the people of old you talk about are still in the grave and the will be raised up when the king comes back. John 5:28-28. Also the 144000 are not just Israelites but people from every race. Revelations 14:1-4 |
Wait for my comment, it's loading bro.... Kobojunkie: |
Wait for my comment, it's loading bro.... Kobojunkie: |
How? Like you aren't still hitting the nail on the head. What is your reason for assuming and saying that? Why would you think i do not believe in YHWH God and His son Jesus who He sent to us as the Messiah. Kobojunkie: |
Lol what did you mean exactly? Kobojunkie: |
I'm feeling you bro. Perhaps you don't understand that Jesus came to restore the perfect life Adam lost on earth. When he comes back, he will restore earth back to the initial purpose God created it. He will fight and conquer all his enemies. 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 Human beings were never created to live in heaven but on earth. God created us with physical while God, angels and other heavenly creatures are spirit bodies. So do you believe that when righteous people die, they will go to heaven (eternal reward) after resurrection? No! We remain here on earth, new earth paradise. Do you even know that Israel should not be considered God's people no more cos they don't believe in Jesus as the messiah but are still waiting for a different messiah? In Christ Jews or gentiles, slave or free, Israelites or non Israelites are one. I'll post some bible references later Kobojunkie: |
No I'm not yet a JW but I studied the Bible and found out they are the christian organization that teaches pure doctrines of the Bible. Dtruthspeaker: |
Hope you also know that when good people die, they don't go to heaven but sleep in death in their grave awaiting resurrection? Only few chosen people are promised life in heaven after death. They are resurrected to heaven just like Jesus to be part of God's kingdom and rule together with Christ as kings, Jesus being their KING. These choosen people were mentioned in the book of revelation, the 144000. The rest of the Saints and righteous people who are asleep in death will be resurrected when Jesus comes back The righteous will live peacefully on paradise earth forever [s] Satan and his demons will be cast into the lake of fire too, that is they will be eternally destroyed too. Satan no fit burn na, na spirit being lol[/s] Dtruthspeaker: |
I would bro DeepSight: |
Dtruthspeaker:Alright i will first take you to the book of revelation, prove a point to you there and come back to address Mathew 10:28, Jude 23 and the Hebrew verse about raging fire. Revelation 20:13-15 [13]And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [14]And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15]And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Carefully study verse 14; 'Death and hell were cast into the lake of fire' . Do you think hell and death will literally be cast into the lake of fire or it figuratively means they will be destroyed eternally? Like they will be more? |
Jokerman:Lake of fire is symbolic not literal man. Revelation 20:14 [14]Then death and hell (grave) were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. Death and hell no fit burn na. But they will be no more. They will be eternally destroyed. |
advanceDNA:No the purpose of salvation is not to burn in hell but to have eternal life. The wicked won't burn in hell as well but rather they will be destroyed forever Hell was invented by roman Catholic church o |
Ihuomanice1:Una still never understand? Revelation 20:13-15 [13]The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. [14]Then >>death<< and >> hell (grave)<< were thrown into >>the lake of fire<<. This lake of fire is the second death. [15]>>And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life<< was thrown into the >>lake of fire<<. Really you guys literally believe that death and grave or hell too will burn inside lake of fire? No! The lake of fire symbolically represents eternal destruction. Like death and hell will be no more! This thing no hard to comprehend na |
Dtruthspeaker:Jude 1:3 [3]Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people. what's your point here Nothing also in Hebrew 10:28-29 But verse 27 says: Hebrews 10:27 [27]There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. Lemme ask you a question, when fire consumes something, won't it burn it out completely? 2 Peter 3:7 [7]And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed. They will be destroyed not burn forever. There's not even mention of hell in the verse you gave I used New living translation... |
Kobojunkie:lol you mean hell was created when Christ came and it's of the new covenant? Your wrong my brother. The word Jesus use in those verses wasn't hell but rather Gehenna in Greek which describes a place just outside Jerusalem where carcasses and refuses are dumped and dumped perhaps this Isaiah verse will give you some insight Isaiah 66:24 [24]And as they go out, they will see the >>dead bodies<< of those who have rebelled against me. >>For the worms that devour them will never die, << >> and the fire that burns them will never go out. << All who pass by will view them with utter horror.” Also Gehenna is parallel to lake of fire mentioned in the book of revelations |
AllahIsSatan:Not believing in hell fire doesn't stop me from doing good or not believing in the one true God YHWH and Jesus Christ whom He sent as the messiah. It's essential to know both of them for our salvation. |
Horus:you no lie bro |
There are a lot of reasons to believe that hell (a place of suffering after death) doesn't exist: ° in the old testament (OT) God never warned the children of Israel bout any possibility of suffering after death. He didn't mention hell to any of the patriarchs and prophets rather God gave them physical punishment. When did the penalty of sin changed from death to hell fire? ° if hell is really a place of punishment to warn people about, why didn't Paul, Peter and other apostles emphasize on it? Why didn't they mention it in their Epistles or book of Acts? °Hell fire is one of Roman Catholic dogmas.... probably invented to coerce people to convert to Christianity and increase church revenue |
rottennaija:What do you know about the Jehovah witness? |
solite3:where is the darkness. Pls this threat is for discussing Trinity, not "new heaven and earthl". |
