Awoo88:
The boy is a co pilot. A very fancy way of saying IT student. Congrate all the same. It is the joy of all father see their children moving n a positive direction
Flight crews include a captain and at least one co-pilot. Pilots in both roles need to be capable of flying the aircraft and managing the flight. After all, if something happens to the captain, the co-pilot needs to take over. However, these roles are not exactly the same. The captain takes on more responsibility than his co-pilot, even though they share duties during the flight

Duties of a Co-pilot
There are no flight tasks that the co-pilot, or first officer, cannot or does not do, although the captain will direct the co-pilot's responsibilities for each flight. Typically, the two share flight tasks, though the co-pilot might be responsible for working the communication radios and navigational computers. On longer flights, a co-pilot might assume command when the captain takes a scheduled break, or they may switch responsibilities for flying and other tasks on each leg of the flight. The co-pilot will also take command if the captain becomes ill or incapacitated.

Hello Afrocatalyst, some of us following your various threads on Nairaland would like to know how successful the snail farms you constructed have been.
AgricultureRe: Snail Farming In Nigeria. The Best Way. by cosade(m):
Afrocatalyst:
Basically there are three things you need to have in order to set up your standard free range curtain method. They are 1. land that can be cultivated. 2. Source of water with reservoir(borehole preferably).
3. Security(fence) and supervisor's quarters.

Once in place the rest can be summed up to a total of 2.4m naira.

You will be able to harvest a minimum of 200,000 snails from a space of 1 plot only.

This will be achieved with initial breeding stock of 3,000 snail breeders (which is included in the 2.4m total cost). Including vegation, irrigation, greenhouse, curtain method and good looking walk paths).

There are three different breeds of African land giant snails. (GALS)
1. Archatina Fulica
2. Archatina Archatina
3. Archatina Marginata.

Archatina Fulica is a Cameroonian breed. It lays a minimum of 200 eggs per each clutch. It is a heamaphrodite(just like all snails). It takes a year six months to grow to table size in the wild. But take 9months to grow to table size in our free range curtain method. Its major advantage is the number of eggs it lays. And that is also its greatest disadvantage. It does not adapt easily and because of that it is not advisable for farmers, especially novices. The mortality rate can be so much that the farmer will assume he made the wrong investment plan.

Archatina Archatina is a Ghanian breed. It is popularly called Tiger Snails. They lay a minimum of 50eggs per each clutch. They grow big too. They are also haemophrodites. They adapt better than the Fulica. They are easy to sell too. They take up to three years to grow to table size in the wild. But a year six months in our free range curtain method. Their only disadvantage is the time of growth. As most farmers will prefer to harvest within the frame if one year.

Archatina marginata is our own indigenous snail. Native to us here in Nigeria. They lay a maximum of 15 eggs per each clutch. They are rugged and adapt easily. They are haemophrodites too. And they take a year and six months to grow to maturity in the wild but 9months in our system.
Has any of the farms harvested a minimum of 200,000 snails from a space of one plot as envisaged?

Work in progress in the farm.
The farm would have capacity to produce 2million matured and 25 million juveniles Archatina Marginata yearly. The juveniles would be sold to snail farmers for fattening.
It's over a year now. Can you update the house on the progress made so far.

Ask me any question about the legality of Questra, I will prove to you that you are dealing with a real company and not this jargons that you see everywhere claiming and faning one legality or the other.

"Questra Holdings is not an authorized investment firm or credit institution in Belgium. It is therefore not allowed to provide banking and/or investment services in or from Belgium.

Moreover, the system proposed by Questra Holdings has every appearance of being of a pyramidal type or at least of a Ponzi fraud".

MLM and network marketing is legit please don't get it twisted but if your compensation plan is faulty then it is a waste of money and time...PERIOD.
Legit, only when you're not required to register with money and tangible goods or service are involved, not invisible goods like the Swiss gold. One of such is the Forever Living Product, though early joiners will always benefit much more than later starters, due to its Pyramid nature.

CrimeNairalanders, Let's Donate To Late Sergeant Chukwudi Iboko's Family by cosade(op):
When I watched the video on Owerri robbery that went viral recently, I had this thought of how to appreciate the policeman for his gallantry.

I was excited when I read on NL a few minutes ago that an Activist and Social Commentator on Nigerian and international affairs, Kayode Ogundamisi, has offered fifty (50) thousand naira for the Sergeant Chukwudi Iboko for his gallantry during the bank robbery in Owerri.

This is an opportunity for NairaLanders to give cheerfully. I hope the moderators will coordinate this:
a. by giving a bank account number NLanders can pay their contributions into.
b. state a deadline for donations and
c. identify the family of the deceased Sergeant and pass the total contribution to the family. Depending on the magnitude of the sum collected, the donation can be turned into an endowment fund possibly Education Endowment Fund for his children.

To kick start this, I am donating the sum of one hundred thousand naira only, and hereby call NairaLanders to contribute to this just cause. No amount would be too small or too big!

If you want to invest in gold, go to Wuse market (Abuja) or Oke-Arin market (Lagos) to buy your gold and deposit in a bank's vault for safe keeping. I don't see the wisdom in buying papers (that could be worthless) for gold kept by someone I don't know or trust.
