I went to buy tomatoes for this new year and on getting to the market I heard 1500 naira for a basket. without pricing I carried a basket home. Thank God Buhari's 2017 is bringing new fruits
This might not have totally ended recession but it is a right step in the right direction. I believe that if Agriculture is conquered that an average Nigerian could feed atleast 3 square meal a day, recession will become a thing of the past.

OK, so I'll start off by saying yes I am an introvert. and my daily routine is either I'm reading a book or being on the internet or watching a movie or just allowing my thoughts to consume me literally. Sometimes I sit and think or should I say creating a scenario in my head... like I'm thinking of how the future would be or I'm recreating a past event that happened (to me) and you know turn it to how it should have been? sort of. Sometimes I'm curious about the littlest things it just makes wonder a lot. like there's just mysteries in this world, hell the universe like what if there's another planet like earth and there's another me somewhere out there in space?....

A man from Likoni in Mombasa County, Kenya suffered serious burns after his wife threw hot cooking oil on him on Sunday, December 25.

According to eDaily, Evelyn Atieno had accused her husband Bruce Omondi of infidelity – and on the fateful day she bought two liters of cooking oil from a shop, boiled it and poured it on his head, chest, and private parts before escaping.

Confirming the incident, Likoni OCPD Willy Simba said police are looking for Atieno, who remains at large.

Simba says Atieno, 30, burned her husband Sunday morning while he was still asleep following a Saturday night disagreement over food and the man’s alleged philandering habits.

According to neighbours, the couple has been wrangling quite much recently.

Omondi said his wife has – for the past three years – been threatening him with unspecified action, adding that he has been a victim of domestic violence since getting married to Atieno.

Omondi was rushed to a local hospital in Likoni before being referred to Coast General Hospital for advanced treatment.

Well it goes like this; I met this girl some months ago. I instantly had a liking for her reason being that she looked so much like an old friend. Long story short, she began trying to convince me to give it a try. Telling me how her boyfriend stays outside town and how they only see once in a while. I let her know that I can't share my woman with another man, how I can't be the side guy. She kept insisting telling me to trust her. I still let her know that more than affection I need comitment and how it's impossible to be commited to two people and all the emotional baggage that comes with it (having witness a similar scenario ). She told me to pretend I didn't know about another man in her life. She kept insisting. I then asked: "If you have a boyfriend what that make me?"
"Boyfriend": she replied. We kept going back and forth about the scenario until I told her to forget it as I cannot be a "Backup plan". She claimed I did not care about her feelings.
The following evening her roommate called me asking me what I did to her friend and how she had been crying all evening. I felt bad and asked to meet so we could talk things over. I eventually agreed to date her giving her the following terms :
1. That she figures which of us she's going to continue with and a day will come when she has to decide or it's over.
2. That she never brings him up whenever we're together.
She was very happy and took the offer. Things got off to a great start. Time went on and we increasingly got fon of each other.
The first day we kissed, she told me she was feeling guilty. Trying not to be a drama queen, I reacted cooly. I just reminded her about our agreement of not bringing stuff like that up. She cries any time we have sextet and as time went on I made her feel comfortable about sex.
The relationship went on. We had fights, we reconciled every time like every other normal relationship.
A few days ago when she was supposed to leave town to her family for the Christmas, we had our goodbye sex and all that. We said our 'byes' and 'i miss you(s)' & parted ways. Latter that evening, she called me and was crying over the phone. I told her to calm down and tell me what the matter was. She told me that what she did with me earlier in the day, she did with the other guy. My heart shattred. I was so furious and didn't know what to say. I just ended the call. She kept calling and texting to apologise saying she won't bring him up again and that she needed someone to talk to at that point that's why she called. Ignored her for a while then I replied her; if she wants us to work out, she we have to meet up and talk about our relationship should be ideally. But she seems not to be able to make up her mind. I feel this is a typical case of trying to eat your cake and have it. this is wat I tell any guy in this situation, girls hardly stay put with honest guys, pls if u dont want to hurt urself, also get urself anoda girlfriend as a plan B, never get serious with a girl who has refused to be serious with you, just play along with her just as she wants it and see who looses in the end. #teamdealwithunseriousgirls#

Good day Nairalanders. A very depressed soul needs your advise to make an important decision. This is going to be a long post, i apologize for the stress. Bear with me.

I have been with my girlfriend for close to a year now. Everything was good at the beginning as usual with our little fights here and there. I have my own fault as i tend to flare up easily and she does has hers too. She's usually very rude and she shouts a lot even when we are having a little misunderstanding in public. We both agreed we were going to work on these flaws to make everything go smooth and i tell you I've always tried my best in that aspect.

But recently my girlfriend has been acting funny. She doesn't call frequently and she prefers to chat most times. Although this is an issue that i encountered at the early stages of our relationship because she said that's how she is so i tried my best to cope with it even though i wasn't sitting well with it. However, things have changed drastically to the extent that she doesn't even call at all or check up on me on social media.

There was a time i called her like five times(I usually call only twice and if you're not picking i chill and wait for a call back), because i wanted her to pick up but she didn't. Instead she sent me a "hi" message on whatsapp without an explanation for why she didn't pick my call.

Also, she doesn't pay attention to me when we are in a conversation. She fixes her interest on other things like her phone, the television or just staring at the ceiling like I'm a bore to her.

So all these made me to think deep and ask what may have been wrong. I wanted to conclude that she was getting tired of the relationship but I said let me ask her first maybe it was my fault. I know that sometimes I can be controlling and authoritative but it's not my fault sometimes because she does anyhow when left to do her things alone. It's like she wants me to always tell her what to do. But when i do, it's a problem.

So when I asked her she told me everything that she was not tired but I was putting pressure on her. I promised to stop pressurising her and I also asked her to change from her behaviour and become who she once was and we agreed.

Last week, on a Wednesday morning I woke up to her message on whatsapp and I replied without getting any reply till like 12 so I decided to call her. She told me that she was eating and she would call me when she was done. After an hour she hadn't called and i called again and she told me that she was sorry that she was watching a movie.

I got angry and complained to her, but instead she was rude (as she usually is) and started raising her voice. She said what had happened is in the past and she cannot do anything about it then she hung up.

I'm fed up. I don't know if there's any other guy although I've noticed some shady behaviors of hers but they aren't concrete enough. This is not the kind of relationship i want because it's obvious that we are on a different perspective. I don't bug my girl or attach myself to her, but I also feel that the right things should be done in the right measure.

It's been a week now and she hasn't called or sent a message even on Christmas Day. I want to call her now and break up, but I'm confused cos I still lover her. She has her good side which is rare in most girls.

Sorry for the long post once again. Please help with your contributions.

She found herself in a gathering in NPA (where she retired) and then suddenly a vehicle brought in dead bodies into the premises who were victims of accidents, the bodies were so many that they were piled up. Have you ever been in a situation whereby things get heated up on the First night out and then you wake up the next day to find out you have been blocked?
Well that's the story of my life right now.

so me and this pretty girl I always had a crush on since I first saw her in 2014 finally had our first night out on boxing day. We went to the cinema, played some games, had dinner there too. Things was really good that evening. it was fun. She was all over me and she wasn't even shy enough to kiss me while we were seeing the movie in the midst of the multiple people there.

Going back home I hired the services of a cab man, we got all emotional and practically almost made out in the moving vehicle. We couldn't really do much since it wasn't a personal car. We could only continue kissing. Getting to her house, we chilled together for a while, talked about the day, laughed over the funny scenes, it was a lovey dovey night.

I got to my house, called her and it was still all going well. Only for me to wake up the next day and find out she has blocked me from whatsapp and wouldn't pick my call anymore. I swear, this has left me totally confused.

Ps. Well for me I think she didn't want to be attached to me. I had asked her out a couple of times and she's always been on the no relationship level for now. So I feel she did that because she feared getting attached to me. I could be wrong, I could be right but I'm confused.

I recently got employed as a barman at a hotel,all has been fine until yesterday when i received a call from my supervisor (my shift had ended so i was home relaxing) asking me if i had seen his jean he'd washed and hanged at the backyard, i told him no he should check well, he then said i should check my bag ( i normally carry my laptop bag to work where i keep my valuables and occasionally i use it bring my laundry from home) just to be sure i checked my bag and didn't see his jean, he ended the call when i told him nothing was in the bag.

Fast forward this morning he called again and said i should "check my room for his jean",i got pissed but i controlled my anger and told him his jean wasn't with me.

When i got to work , he didn't confront me but was making sidetalks saying, i should bring is expensive jeans that he bought it very expensive.
I tried ignoring him, since he didn't say it directly, but i got angry and couldn't take it anymore, so i told him to stop making nasty statements and not to say something he wasn't sure of. He then shrugged and said he didn't call my name oo and continued with the sidetalks.

Later in the day when my boss came, he reported the matter to him, i guess my boss probably told him that's his business or something cos after that he started threatening me that he'll get back at me and I'll see. I just ignored him but now my coworkers are "looking at me one kind" like im guilty.
I've never had issues with him before, instead i thought we were "flowing" cos we related well.

There nlanders i don't want to do something I'll later regret so please tell me what step i should take next.

So we started dating as we both are student in the same school and department. The whole relationship grew into deep love and affection between us, but she still talk on phone with her previous boyfriends, even when we are together, she will be engaged in a long conversation on phone with her previous boyfriend and also on whatsapp, it got to a stage that i saw a message she sent to her previous boyfriend in ghana that she love him so much, i got so angry with her and she begged me, & she confess that she still love him but she loves me the most and she would love to marry me, we settled the issue.

And now the boyfriend in ghana paid her a. surprise visit yesterday when i was at her place and was about leaving, with this now, should i still continue dating her or not? bearing in mind that she is so supportive of me in school.

I started dating In senior sec sch to a guy I loved and who never loved me back but only dated my cos of my popularity and the attention I gave him, breaking up with him I dated another guy just to forget the first guy and also hoping this wud be better but it didn't turn out well, he tried wooing my girlfrnd by insulting me, I confronted him, he apologized but I couldn't stay with him, I just zereod my mind off him even though he showed he was sorry. Some times later like 3yrs after met another guy but it didn't last, this last one was the most terrible but I wud ignore it cos it brings tears to my eyes.

This is the best way to get latest updates without stressing yourself and going round tons of websites to get stories. An RSS feed reader can help you do this. Simply add the feed URL of all the top sites in your niche to the feed reader. Once there's a new story you get it instantly. No stress.



2. Schedule Posts For The Future
Assuming you have a lot of lectures during the week and you won't have enough chance to make posts every day you can simply make the posts on weekends then schedule it to post at any day of the week. Blogger and WordPress have this feature, it'll help you keep your readers updated while you attend to other relevant activities.


3. Let The Internet Work For You
You may wonder how you'll be able to share your posts if you schedule posts. It's very simple
I don't bother myself about sharing posts unless if I want to share it on Instagram or Google Plus Communities. Use IFTTT to automatically share your blog posts to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit and a whole lot of other websites. If you have a Facebook group, Hootsuite can handle the posting on the group.


4.Get Someone To Help You Run Your Blog

Automation can do everything for you but a human touch always stands out from work done by just computers. It's quite possible your RSS feed reader may not cover everything you need to know because you didn't add as many sites as possible. In this case, you can employ someone to post for you either on a weekly or daily basis if you have the cash. You can also offer the person an incentive like free data subscription every month.



5.Set A Schedule For Replying To Comments
You won't be on the PC or Phone 24/7. I hardly use my laptop to blog these days. I find it easier using my smartphone so it's possible you may also like using your smartphone. Set a specific time schedule to reply to Comments. This will keep your readers engaged and know when to come back and get a reply to their questions.


This is my 5 point strategy of reducing blogging stress as a student. It helps me have time for myself and school as well.

My marriage to my husband is just 13months and it's like I don't know him despite we courting for 6years before settling down.

My husband is so desperate (so to say) for money, he is into a lot of things I.e Lotto, MMM, get help, e.t.c that I'm not cool with. He has a well paid job, though I'm a stay home wife. Already told him he should let me know if the burden is too much on him so that I can get a job since he was the one that actually told me to stop work at the initial stage.
