It is up to the PH SG and governors forum of that GP zone to resolve the security issues for their own benefit. You can't blame a bunch of Yoruba people in Lagos for the actions of PH and ND citiEnrry and it's effect.

I can relate with the security reason highlighted above. let me tell you a personal experience. My company would have loved to commence ferry business that would run through the whole of SS but for the militancy, kidnapping and pirate activities there, they moved the business to Benin and Ghana which will commence in the second quarter of this year.

This is the fault of the newspaper (Vanguard) correspondent who carried the report and then attached the wrong photograph to it. Unfortunately, blogging in Nigeria is almost only copy and paste without carrying out further investigations to verify the authenticity of reports.

There is money to make from telecommunication sector in Nigeria and I don't know why reputable western companies are not interested in the Nigerian market and bring in innovations. It is very boring at the moment due to poor infrastructure and services.

Its a serious challenge investing in Nigeria.

From using months registering your company instead of days, to the seaport where you need at least 110 signatures to bring in your assets from outside the country, to officials that you have to bribe to do just about anything, to touts you have settle just to prepare your office space, to no electricity so you spend almost 3/4 of your turnover on diesel, to insecurity, to tax officials (federal, state and LG) heckling you about, to bad roads.......... I could go on and on.

Despite all I mentioned up there I agree there is a lot of money to make in the country but when you think about all these challenges and the negative stories you emanate from Nigeria all the time, they may rather head somewhere less stressful.

I was in Yenagoa for the first time in my life on Saturday and I truly noticed the capital was a bit dirty especially near the government secretariat and stadium and less I forget, that Kpansia junction. What made me remember that place was the name "Kpansia". I was left wondering what Kpansia means. People of Yenagoa, kindly educate me on the meaning.

During political power play, the players consider their interest before anything else.

Let me show you what i mean........

1. Why do you think PDP is supporting Saraki that is not a PDP member and that also caused the loss of PDP at this last poll? Because they do not want APC to have their way. Its in their own best interest to support him now and thereby contributing to the implosion of APC.

Now let me now relate this analysis with my question above.

The APC senators you mentioned will only support Saraki if they feel their interests will not be protected (e.g. plum juicy positions in the house, anger against APC e.t.c and other petty reasons not known by us).

And again when push comes to shove and they realize their interests may not be protected by supporting Saraki (e.g. Hounding by security forces, witch hunting e.t.c and some other extreme measures/punishment not known to us) they may decide to withdraw support and let himface the music alone.

All i have said above is just to support the assertion that says Politics is not mathematics.
