yinkus204:How do you know they are paying their tax? |
Rexphobia:They know all you highlighted but are hell bent on tackling the high exchange rate of the naira (and forcing down the dollar) by trying to increase the supply of dollars in the country by encouraging FDI's and the return of foreign investors. They are at the moment not after the runaway inflation rate but the forcing down of the exchange rates. The truth is we really in a recession (caused by the fall in oil price and CBN's wack monetary policies) and there is no easy way out. Unfortunately, tough decisions have to be made to lead us out of the recession. |
2sexynet:You may be right. As a business strategists myself (I have an Msc. in Strategic Management), I see through their strategy and I can't help but applaud it because it is certainly going to work on majority of the populace. |
FuckTheMod:I would have given your comment a like so as to show that I concur with it but I think stupid is the term that best fits her and not a fool. |
Master-class move by Tinubu. This continues to prove that he's a master strategists. He knows that the change they promised has been disappointing and therefore changes the slogan to what the people can relate with at the moment. As they got Nigerians head turned with the promise of change (which he knew that was what we were yearning for at that time) he also realizes that we need to progress (also what he knows we need now). I know many people especially PDP supporters will find this amusing but they in their ignorance will think its a silly move until APC uses this to wow Nigerians again to the detriment of the aspirations of PDP. Lesson to be learnt: Promise people what they want to hear and they will gladly follow you and do whatever you want them to. |
olujaidi:Thanks. Pls what's the difference between Uber select and Uber x? I don't understand what they mean by "Lagos only." Or is uber select the VIP option? |
TokyoBulls:Does uber accept Lexus IS 250 2010 model? Because it's not listed in the list of cars I downloaded from their site. |
Point of correction... There is no expressway called Ore - Lagos expressway. Its either Ore - Benin and we can equally say Ore - Ijebu. Its like saying their is a long stretch of road from Ore leading straight down to Lagos without considering that from Ore you have to go through Ijebu through Sagamu before you now branch into Lagos. |
musachara:Exactly. |
StepTwo:Thanks for bringing it to my notice but I can bet this may be the only one. I can even guess this is a general response against pirate /miltants attacks on security operatives and not a condemnation of mititant attacks on crude oil facilities. Delta State which is the hotbed of militants attack on crude oil facilities didn't have its Governor in Abuja but why Bayelsa state that hasn't recorded as many attacks as Delta? I still stand on my earlier opinion that Dickson hasn't vocally condemned them nor visited the militants enclave unlike Okowa and his deputy. I repeat Dickson's stance against militants attack and his body language to total resolving of this issue hasn't been inspiring unlike Okowa hence his meeting with the President. |
I was expecting Buhari to call Dickson for a meeting so as to warn him about his utterances and he has finally done that. Dickson can't be telling the FG not to use force on the militants while he himself hasn't called them to order. I have not seen Dickson telling the avengers to embrace peace nor condemning their actions. Dickson should be the one spearheading talks alongside Buhari and not there giving the militants a pat on the back. Oh I forget he can't condemn them since he's owing them... What the hell has he done with all the monies he's received as governor? Bayelsa state has no business owing workers at all. |
See the funny topic - "Photos of Northern APC Governors having fun with Okorocha in Imo State (like they all sat down drinking beer and getting a lap dance from some hot chicks)" while the story itself said the meeting took place in Imo State Government Lodge, Asokoro. Na wah for our half baked/illiterate journalists/bloggers. |
cricifixo:My father bought a sienna 2004 model bus in April this year and leased it to a transport company in Jibowu, Lagos State but unfortunately, he has asked them to put the bus up for sale just 2 months after acquiring it. The agreement they had was for the company to remit part of the profits on the bus on monthly basis. The agreed payment came promptly in the first month while the second month's payment dropped drastically to like just 30% of the agreed sum. The reason they gave was that they had to replace the gear of the car for a princely sum of 95k. Two weeks into the third month, the company said the driver allocated to drive my father's bus had absconded with the money made in those two months and there is currently nobody to drive the bus now. Lesson: Transport business is a very lucrative business but an equally stressful one. You can only make it in transport business if (1.) You drive your bus yourself and also collect the fare yourself (2.) You get a very honest driver who will not cheat you (hardly can you get an honest person in Nigeria of today) (3.) You are an agbero yourself and the driver of the bus is aware of this and thus knows he shouldn't dare to cheat you. |
disloman:Haven't you seen the continuation of that particular episode where kidnappers raided their compound and that fat girl couldn't escape through the small space in the gate everyone escaped through just because she was fat? |
mazimee:Gold is illegally mined in my village in Osun state by a guy not from my state at all but guess what, my village peeps are the ones actually shielding him for crumbs. That tells you that no outsider can come into this type of environment and does what he likes without the input/knowledge of the villagers. |
vicstar:I can't help but admit that truly the whites are way ahead of us blacks. Can you compare North America or Europe to Africa (GDP, Per capital income, poverty rate, unemployment rate and all other indices used to measure development.)? Just Imagine if the british stayed longer in Nigeria, I bet you we won't be at this level evidenced by the development available in South Africa. They are not gods nor superior to us but we are not their equals either. |
Its non of my business...... |

I thought you were just here to observe but it seems you are doing pass yourself by saying it as it is o.... LoL |
macotrading72:It's not their fault. it's our culture that is caging them. |
Perfectionist11:lol....... Guy u don watch too much American films o.... |
Koolking:You're so correct. Fashion is about wearing what makes you comfortable. Those that made the so called fashion rules formed their style so what should stop me from forming my own style too? They don't have a monopoly of styles jare. I wear ties on short sleeved shirts to the office and I must confess, I get flattering comments on those occasions. I have decided to adopt the style forever. Pls if you know where I can get lovely short sleeved shirts either ready made or sewn, kindly let me know. |
I thought I was going to see pics of him lighting up the joint. I'm disappointed in the writer of the article because ordinary word of mouth does not prove his smoking is way above board. |
2BB4CB3E:words can't explain how hard I laughed on reading this... |
Tonnierichy:I tire for bloggers. Nairaland is now officially a blog. |
davide470:True.... But anyone who reads the article to the end shouldn't miss the disclaimer. That it's why it's important to read documents from the first letter all the way down to the last. |
pheyhi:I'm guilty as stated..... Buhari - I don't bother to read about him anymore. Oil - I frequently read about it as it relates with my business. And lastly, Money - I won't lie, I read about everything money as I feel without money I am useless. As time goes on, I will pay closer attention to my health. |
somez:At the moment I have placed an order for another boat to be built for me. I want to be sure if I can use your floor finish as the boat builder has to make space for the finish before they install the seats. Let me consult with the boat builder. I will get back to you when I make clarifications with him. |
@somez, can I use it on my boat as the floor finish. |
anonym0us:Your elder is giving you tips on how it is in real life you're forming like you don't have sisters or a mum. Learn the real deal here and don't go and f-up when God in his infinite mercies graciously allows you to have a taste of something as huge as these later on in your life so that you won't end up disappointed. |
