Do you know what's called investigative journalism?
Dude, there is nothing investigative about this.

Investigative Journalism is about getting real facts but this one you support has K-leg.

A document with no seal and not on a letterhead is not FACT and therefore will not hold water. Anybody could have printed that letter.

In as much as I want Dalung relieved of his duties, facts that are verifiable and undeniable is what we should use in sending him packing.

So Idoro and Oyekan are now professorshuh?

You could literally sleep off in his boring lectures!

I actually helped Idoro to get his PhD back then; we got marks for helping him fill his questionnaires......

As for Oyekan that one is just a religious zealot who wants to be feared than anything else.....

This happened wayback sha, 2002...

As
Idoro's class was so boring, I sat at the back throughout those classes. Was surprised to learn he is now a Prof.

As for Baba, baba was a very funny man reason being that he was the only that laughed at his own jokes.

I also remember Prof. Nwokoma during ECN lectures. Those courses really bashed me!

Even though you and I know that our Great Unilag is crap but truth be told, he should not have openly bashed those guys. The rot in our educational system was caused by our government(s) and not by the lecturers. They too work in an harsh environment.

I thought he was untouchable and godson to a lagos godfather.
They call him Baale (mini king, ) of jibowu.
His boys once beheaded a rival gang leader and went away with his head.
Legend has it that they were drinking round the head and breaking bottles on it everyday.
Kudos to Ambode. The man has already won my admiration even though I didn't vote for him or believed in him.
This guy has armed boys than most stations.
If truly the guy in the pic is the one they called "J-pron", then they have the wrong guy.

The assumption of the writer is that the $2.5 billion cocoa can become $18 billion once it arrives inn Mars warehouse, that's ignorance of the highest order.

What is the value of other inputs, sugar, milk, labour, know-how, additives, marketing, advert, distribution channels that makes it possible to earn the difference. You'd be scared at the huge resources deployed by Mars to earn $ 18 Billion compared to what Cote' Ivoire invested to earn $2.5 Billion. We are too quick to look at the results without pontificating on the work we need to do to reach the goal.

It is a no brainer that adding value to a primary commodity will earning additional revenue but the chain and societal linkage to achieve that is non-existent or grossly inadequate in Africa. Are we better off not having the primary commodity and still not having the expertise to convert raw material to products?
If we go the way of Agro-processing we still need to import all the machines as we lack local capability and still import expatriate to service and maintain the machines with huge capital flight. Eventually the machines breakdown as we make little sales while trying to compete with established markets.

Societies are not grown on emotions but on deliberate and meticulous planning which is still lacking in our current plans for agriculture neither is the crux of the problem addressed in the article.
Calm down... You and the writer mean the same thing although he seems to be thinking farther than you are doing.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS oooooooooo....

Although I asked God for this favour but after checking the list and not finding my name I didn't lose up and wasn't really downcast because I knew other opportunities will still come up.

When the list of successful applicants was released, I searched for my name amongst them but couldn't find it. What happened was that, when looking through the list, I only checked my surname but not my first name. Apparently, the personnel that collated the list left out my surname but instead repeated my first name twice e.g Cutetj Cutetj.

I found that out by searching for my name on the list using the find word option on the webpage (by pressing Ctrl + F) which revealed my surname was omitted and my first name listed in place of my surname.

AbuMaryam1:
Well I don't understand English, but to my understanding declaring one wanted always follows by his arrest. Why the army will not use the word of invitation?
You have a point.

But you and I know that in a sane country, that guy will have been declared wanted, brought in for questioning and released (if he provides the info the security agencies need or if they can't pin anything on him) but he will be monitored from then on.

Once again you have a point but notwithstanding the military's approach, that guy ought to have been brought in for questioning long ago.

AbuMaryam1:
Ahmad Salikida shouldn't be declared wanted. The guy
has been the only link to solve boko haram issues since Jonathan's regime. It's the same mistake committed by previous regime.
Declaring him wanted and arresting him are two different things.

He's been declared wanted so as to clear up some issues about BH because its obvious he has access to them. That is the way to solve this matter and not let him roam around shielding BH while acting as their courier. At this point, The only way we can solve BH's matter is with force (not force on Salkida but) on the terrorists themselves.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Blast Army For Declaring Ahmad Salkida Wanted by CuteTj(m): 10:27pm On Aug 14, 2016
Nigerians and their dull ways ot thinking!! What's the fuss about declaring the guy wanted?

A guy is always the courier for BH and you ask why he's been declared wanted?

I wonder why they haven't done that since 2014 sef...

The guy should just walk up to the army and say what he knows about BH since he has access to them.

Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna State shouldn't be left out because he too had access to them at some point.

Ontarget:
Why would companies be in Nigeria and be demanding for Harvard certificates? They should better pack to those places with the Harvard certificates and skills.
You really cannot blame them. The high unemployment rate is the reason as they themselves operate in a very harsh environment.

Why they raise the bar so high (by asking for harvard certificates) is to get the so called best among the rest and most importantly reduce the workload of having to go through 100,000 cvs just for 1 position.

Take for example the Police recruitment exercise earlier in the year where 911,483 people applied for just 10,000 positions. A private employer will not want all that stress thus will increase the requirement hence the request for so called harvard certificates.
BusinessRe: We Took The Best Economic Decision- Emefiele by CuteTj(m): 8:11am On Aug 14, 2016
At the last MPC meeting, its obvious the core concern of the CBN is the high exchange rate caused by the scarcity of foreign currency (dollars) which is one of the factors that has caused the spike of inflation rate.

Diversification which is the way forward will not happen overnight. We all should try to see the reasons behind CBN's current decision to hike interest rates at the expense of development of the real sector. At the next MPC meeting, I foresee CBN bringing back down the interest rate.

For that amount (N844 billion) and the present economic conditions of the country, I would prefer if a power plant or refinery or functioning industries or at least a Mega rail project is done

Long term Revenue generating and Job creating projects are what we as Nigerians should be thinking of.. .Not some fancy bridge that will take up little available monies and huge loans/ debts

But then, what do I know. When we get to the bridge. ..
The project is primarily going to be funded by Access bank including other private investors and not by LASG (even LASG's contribution will not come once but may be spread throughout the duration of the project).

Its a long term revenue generating project.

Its going to create a lot of jobs (both skilled and unskilled) including some small business owners (cement seller, nail seller etc) will make money.

Huge debt in itself is not bad provided the debt was incurred in the process of making more money ( a case where the project invested in allows profit to be generated and at the same time allows the debt to be repaid as at when due).

Where is Durella now, pls (dat one wey dey form D'banj-lookalike dat year, even jacked D'banj's style and sound too)?
Dude, try to reason this way. So if I look like Micheal Jackson and my talent is pop music, I should switch to rap (which I may be bad at) just because MJ was the king of pop and I don't want to be compared with him?

I can tell you that the disappearance of Durella may be linked to another thing but it definitely has nothing to do with him choosing D'banj's style then.

PoliticsRe: Dogara Needs To Go Back To Law School Because Budget Padding Is Corruption by CuteTj(m): 12:07pm On Aug 09, 2016
What is budget padding?

Budget padding is cornering projects or allocating more projects to a constituency (especially to self's constituency or friends constituency) which in itself is not a crime.

When it becomes a crime is when the intent is not to carry out project but as a conduit to divert the money differently from the purpose it was stated for in the budget.

My verdict - From a legal point of view, Dogara is correct that budget padding is not corruption. Although morally it is. It is only corruption when you can prove that the intent was to syphon the money or if the intent is not even to syphon money but if the money has been actually syphoned (which in this case it hasn't been syphoned).

The trruth is Dogara may remain on that seat throughout the tenure of the 8th assembly as lawyers may find it hard to prove to the judges that what he did was corruption. The only way Dogara will cease to remain Speaker is if 2/3 of his colleagues remove him (or even if a few since we have had many cases of where quorum wasn't formed but the decision of a few still carried the day over the majority).

Lol, How would you know a student and all that ish from a fitness arena? She had the classy outlook of someone independent. And you know it takes some independence for a lady to go out with a low cut. I always see such people as people who don't care about the crowd.
Unless you are new in the business of scoping out women, you should at least 90 percent able to tell a girl's employment/unemployment status.

For your info,Students of nowadays now dress classier (because of a lot of idle time on their hands) than working class babe (who have less idle time to engage in makeup and the likes).

Let me give you a tip, whenever a new girl enters your space especially in a place where their is a high probability of meeting her again (e.g gym, church, office, school), never approach them immediately without you taking out time to study her (and her body language)

For those of you cheering them on...I guess its fun to blow up pipelines?

And when they are done with the pipelines and they have nothing to blowup, they will start blowing innocent people up. That's how BH started. From raiding police stations and army barracks to killing innocent villagers and taking over their lands so will NDA and other militants take over the oil and lands in SS if people continue to support them.

What right do I have to advice since its not my land nor oil so will they say? Okay o! But when my prediction comes to pass, no one should disturb my own peace.
