grayht:Entrepreneurship isn't meant for everybody. Their basic problem is moving around and not money. If everyone becomes an entrepreneur, who will then work under the entrepreneurs? |
bender79:Have you not heard of something called PPP - PRIVATE PUBLIC PARTNERSHIP? Government provides the land, Private investors provides the funds and the people get the service. At the end of the day, everybody goes home happy. |
Why don't you first state your own side of the story..... |
gretblue:The quoted was the most annoying I saw on my one and only visit to Warri. I was terribly disappointed. |
Huskyfrancis:08099629708. Do add me to the group. |
Gheritage:YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS oooooooooo.... Although I asked God for this favour but after checking the list and not finding my name I didn't lose up and wasn't really downcast because I knew other opportunities will still come up. When the list of successful applicants was released, I searched for my name amongst them but couldn't find it. What happened was that, when looking through the list, I only checked my surname but not my first name. Apparently, the personnel that collated the list left out my surname but instead repeated my first name twice e.g Cutetj Cutetj. I found that out by searching for my name on the list using the find word option on the webpage (by pressing Ctrl + F) which revealed my surname was omitted and my first name listed in place of my surname. |
CuteTj:Just after posting this, and was about going to bed, I decided to check my mail (which I havent done at all Today) and was shocked to see that I was sent the mail congratulating me for my application being successful. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! |
Unfortunately, my application wasn't successful in the 2nd round despite having my business under the 40 business cluster. Just want to ask, when reapplying what should I do differently? Successful candidates should please share some of their success tips. |
juri:Pls post the link of the page where the list is. thanks. |
AbuMaryam1:You have a point. But you and I know that in a sane country, that guy will have been declared wanted, brought in for questioning and released (if he provides the info the security agencies need or if they can't pin anything on him) but he will be monitored from then on. Once again you have a point but notwithstanding the military's approach, that guy ought to have been brought in for questioning long ago. |
AbuMaryam1:Declaring him wanted and arresting him are two different things. He's been declared wanted so as to clear up some issues about BH because its obvious he has access to them. That is the way to solve this matter and not let him roam around shielding BH while acting as their courier. At this point, The only way we can solve BH's matter is with force (not force on Salkida but) on the terrorists themselves. |
Nigerians and their dull ways ot thinking!! What's the fuss about declaring the guy wanted? A guy is always the courier for BH and you ask why he's been declared wanted? I wonder why they haven't done that since 2014 sef... The guy should just walk up to the army and say what he knows about BH since he has access to them. Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna State shouldn't be left out because he too had access to them at some point. |
Sunnycliff:I won't hesitate to support it for whatever thing. |
musicwriter:I was hoping to purchase a land in Ikorodu or Epe or anywhere in lagos that has direct access to the sea or river. All the same, thanks for responding. |
@ Ytechconst and musicwriter, can I still get a land which is close to a body of water (sea/river)? |
batiatus:True... Many Nigerians are educated illiterates, most are stark illiterates while very few are the ones that are literates. Can you blame them? No! The country has terribly battered peoples psyche to a point that we cannot reason objectively and logically and hence cannot believe the true pics of things. We hope things get better so that we can all enjoy Nigeria. |
Ontarget:You really cannot blame them. The high unemployment rate is the reason as they themselves operate in a very harsh environment. Why they raise the bar so high (by asking for harvard certificates) is to get the so called best among the rest and most importantly reduce the workload of having to go through 100,000 cvs just for 1 position. Take for example the Police recruitment exercise earlier in the year where 911,483 people applied for just 10,000 positions. A private employer will not want all that stress thus will increase the requirement hence the request for so called harvard certificates. |
At the last MPC meeting, its obvious the core concern of the CBN is the high exchange rate caused by the scarcity of foreign currency (dollars) which is one of the factors that has caused the spike of inflation rate. Diversification which is the way forward will not happen overnight. We all should try to see the reasons behind CBN's current decision to hike interest rates at the expense of development of the real sector. At the next MPC meeting, I foresee CBN bringing back down the interest rate. |
Waspy:The project is primarily going to be funded by Access bank including other private investors and not by LASG (even LASG's contribution will not come once but may be spread throughout the duration of the project). Its a long term revenue generating project. Its going to create a lot of jobs (both skilled and unskilled) including some small business owners (cement seller, nail seller etc) will make money. Huge debt in itself is not bad provided the debt was incurred in the process of making more money ( a case where the project invested in allows profit to be generated and at the same time allows the debt to be repaid as at when due). |
ObaKlaz:Dude, try to reason this way. So if I look like Micheal Jackson and my talent is pop music, I should switch to rap (which I may be bad at) just because MJ was the king of pop and I don't want to be compared with him? I can tell you that the disappearance of Durella may be linked to another thing but it definitely has nothing to do with him choosing D'banj's style then. |
Proffdada:You need not abuse him. You may need to consult your optician and even need to visit the ENT of an hospital if you don't see the resemblance between Joe-l and 2-baba and even they way they both sound. At least he didn't create himself to look like 2baba, God did. Or just admit you don't know him. No need to abuse him. |
Funjosh:you fit stand (on your feet) inside sun for hours. |
What is budget padding? Budget padding is cornering projects or allocating more projects to a constituency (especially to self's constituency or friends constituency) which in itself is not a crime. When it becomes a crime is when the intent is not to carry out project but as a conduit to divert the money differently from the purpose it was stated for in the budget. My verdict - From a legal point of view, Dogara is correct that budget padding is not corruption. Although morally it is. It is only corruption when you can prove that the intent was to syphon the money or if the intent is not even to syphon money but if the money has been actually syphoned (which in this case it hasn't been syphoned). The trruth is Dogara may remain on that seat throughout the tenure of the 8th assembly as lawyers may find it hard to prove to the judges that what he did was corruption. The only way Dogara will cease to remain Speaker is if 2/3 of his colleagues remove him (or even if a few since we have had many cases of where quorum wasn't formed but the decision of a few still carried the day over the majority). |
BABAAGBALABA:no mind the olodos.. but na chinese films I like pass. I just download 4 yesterday night sef. |
agabaI23:That was what I meant when I said studying them before approaching. |
HungerBAD:100 percent on point. I don't bother my head with females of those class you listed. They are a waste of my time and money. agabaI23:Unless you are new in the business of scoping out women, you should at least 90 percent able to tell a girl's employment/unemployment status. For your info,Students of nowadays now dress classier (because of a lot of idle time on their hands) than working class babe (who have less idle time to engage in makeup and the likes). Let me give you a tip, whenever a new girl enters your space especially in a place where their is a high probability of meeting her again (e.g gym, church, office, school), never approach them immediately without you taking out time to study her (and her body language) |
otukpo:You dey mind the olodo op. |
For those of you cheering them on...I guess its fun to blow up pipelines? And when they are done with the pipelines and they have nothing to blowup, they will start blowing innocent people up. That's how BH started. From raiding police stations and army barracks to killing innocent villagers and taking over their lands so will NDA and other militants take over the oil and lands in SS if people continue to support them. What right do I have to advice since its not my land nor oil so will they say? Okay o! But when my prediction comes to pass, no one should disturb my own peace. |
Vanquay16:Hehehehehe.... Your mouth too much jare. |

teemy:First and foremost (if there is anything like that), the background of that pic doesn't look anything like a banking hall. I guess its someone like me who has a few withdrawal slips with her but wants to be funny. That pic was taken someone's house in the evening/at night. Now to the matter you brought up. What should the bank staff do in this case when you and I know that withdrawal slips are freely available in the banking hall for everyone's use without supervision and as at thursday when I last entered the bank, customers are not searched on exiting the banking hall. As a matter of fact, I have a few leafs of GT's withdrawal slip in my car for a day I forget my atm at home and I seriously need to withdraw money. Why I have them in my possession is because the branch closest to my office always ask me this silly question "where is your atm" anytime I attempt to ask them for withdrawal slip. To avoid that annoying question, I kept some leafs in my possession. |
