seguno2:Is Edo State deprived of good people? Good leaders? Must it always be PDP or APC? |
TMSMedia:In all these power tussle, Edo State indigens will be the greatest losers. I just wish the people of Edo will rise up and say enough is enough and take their future in their hands. Obaseki o, Ize-Iyamu o, Oshimole all of them are just fighting for relevance non is after the interest of the Edo people. |
This is a very crazy comparison. Burna Boy's song is incomparable by light years. Davido song-Fem...............hmmmm. Let me comment my reserve. |
White people are weird. |
Burna Boy finish work for this jam sha. |
I know this woman personally, and all I can say is that I'm highly disappointed. She was a professor of chemistry in Uniben, I held her in high esteem because of her strict and no nonsense attitude, and now I'm reading this? It appears that you can never truly know somebody. What a scandal!!! |
Seriously, I pity these men. Do you know what it takes to get a PhD? Talkless of being a Professor. What a shame, great destinies destroyed out of lack of ability to control ones libido? This is an abberation, these men can't ever get a job in any reputable firm, Federal or State institution again, talkless of a university. All because of having base instincts like an animal. Owerri is a small town, I can only imagine the public ridicules their wives and children would be going through right now. What a waste. |
And Daily Trust just got more popular. These people are just a bunch of dumbasses. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The truth is that this whole list of a thing is negotiable in Igbo culture, the groom probably won't do up to a quarter of what is on that list. But some guys even go as far as doubling what's on the list as a kind of show off. If you've ever been where a list is being bargained it's kinda fun. Elders from this side and elders from that side sit down and scrutinize the list. That's how it's done. All these cheap internet blackmail of Igbo culture is laughable because, you still see people getting married every weekend. They will bring the list online to mock Igbos, but they won't tell you what they actually paid as bride price. If you think this list is big, go to Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ikwerre or the Kalabari people of Rivers State. You will faint when you see the list a colleague of mine back in 2010 spent around 5.8million on his Kalabari girlfriend's bride's list. |
The truth is that anybody who has complete conviction of his faith no matter the age is not afraid of death, as far as you are sure of where you will spend your eternity. For those saying that he has his facemask and protective gear on with a hand sanitizer by his side it simply laughable. I'm not holding brief for Pastor Adeboye, but when the devil tempted Jesus by asking him to jump from the cliff to prove he is the Son of God, Jesus replied" you shall not tempt the Lord thy God." (Matthew 4:7). |

studentofTruth:I don't know how much you know about the oil industry, if you are drilling for crude oil for example, you will drill very deep, in some cases you'll hit a pocket of gas, that doesn't stop you, you keep drilling till you reach your goal same thing when you're mining for gold. Never accept to play second fiddle in anything in life. Keep pushing till you hit what your looking for, there are a lot of bad girls out there, that doesn't mean there are no good ones. Keep searching till you get the real deal. It's always worth the wait. |
athaboi:Why should he face his front? If this babe ain't ready to marry, then why must she play with this guy's feelings? @Whiteball You owe it as a duty not only to your friend, but to all real dudes out there to report this abberation. Now put yourself in your friend's shoes, will you be happy your friend witnessed this and didn't tell you? Remember the guy code man. Bros before hoes. |
Finally, man no dey fine. A man is HANDSOME, dissert this for a quick minute. A man must have SOMEthing in his HANDS =HANDSOME. QED!!! |
MusaChukwudi:I honestly never knew. |
I'm a big fan of Russia, despite their"communist" leaning. Russia is known for their military prowess and amazing military hardwares, not medicine. Well, what do I even know? Let's watch how this pans out. |
These are breeders, many think it'd a waste of money, but the farmer that bought that sheep is definitely not stvpid. Breeding is a lot of money. Now imagine the pedigree if he's the only farmer with this stock and the quality of wool it produces and other farmers need to pay him for this sheep to breed with theirs. This is really big business o, especially in the UK. If you think this expensive, check the price tag of horses, especially a stallion with pedigree and reputable ancestry. |
ireneidiva:Thanks for the correction, no blame me, English no bi my mother tongue na. But atleast I dey try small small. ![]() |
magicminister:Did you actually read what I wrote in my post? Or your just seeking an e-fight? Please be guided. |

anastasius:That one good sef, met a pretty Ijaw girl a while ago, her name is millions.......as in "MILLIONS". I didn't bother asking her surname, because I was diligently searching for a faint space after I heard her name. ![]() ![]() ![]() Weird names I tell you weird names. |
JIMMY1393:How can I be joking with something like this? This is someone I knew personally from my FUTO days, from Mechanical Engineering Dept. |
cocolacec:I'm kinda lost here, what has King Leopold's atrocities have to do with the topic at hand? Please enlighten me. |
RealEzee:Exactly my point, we are gradually getting there and this new tax revenue driven madness by this government will only hasten it. We are close to freedom, I welcome this CAMA with double hands, our corrupt politicians are gradually digging their graves. |
RealEzee:Thank you so much for this. Yes the government should be an income generating body. Many developed economies run on taxes and taxes alone. Look at their level of commitment to their citizens. We should be a taxed economy, trust me if Nigeria is run as a majorly tax based economy, and our fellow citizens actually know that it is our tax contributions that is being used by a few individuals to live large? Believe me, human nature alone will override tribalism and religious bigotry, the revolution that the Nigerian government will find in their hands will be uncontrollable. even the French revolution of 1789 will be child's play to what will occur over here, because even the security outfits will turn on their masters. They are unintentionally tightening a noose on their necks. |
Guyman02:Are you happy with what is currently happening in the body of Christ in Nigeria now? Pastors live lavishly to the glareing improvishment of their members. I always use my pastor as an example, he is always blessed by people who he mentored in prayers and who are moving high in every aspect of life, but he never describes the church as his or an investment. He always let's everybody know that the church belongs to God. His humility is infective, I have never ever in my life seen a man that humble. Whatever comes to him, he shares with the less preveiladged, he only takes that sufficient for his family the rest goes to charity. Now that's the outlook of a true man of God, even the Bible says that "by their fruits you shall know them". Why and how did Islam take over Turkey? It was because of the corruption in the church, Nigerian churches are currently doing way worst than what the Turkish churches did. It's by the Grace of God that we are not yet consumed. If this view of seeing a church as a business venture continues, the fate of Turkey and Rome under Emperor Nero, will be child's play to the persecution will be facing as the body of Christ. BTW, I googled the meaning of the word Taqiyya and it meant "the practice of denying one's religion, permissible when one is faced with persecution, especially by Sunnites: regarded as a means of protecting the religion." So the meaning you are trying to convey here is not context to the point you are making. |
Personally as a Christian, I support CAMA. The church should not be a profit making enterprise, churches and other religious bodies should pay tax to the government. I believe that if the churches pay taxes to the government and totally deregulated from being a one-man show, then the church in Nigeria can completely hold our political leaders accountable for the mismanagement of the funds and corruption in government since the tax paid by the church is also part of the money being looted. My church recently opened branches in Kenya and Uganda after having a very successful missionary work in those countries, if you know the stiff regulations our GO had to go through to get those churches up and running, you'd be amazed. These GOs complaining about CAMA own churches in countries that have steeper regulations, including having a license to preach. So why all the fuss and noise making, or am I missing something here? |
SegFault:If you ask me?......... Na who I go ask? But one thing I know for sure is that Nigerians are extremely gifted. |
jimcaddy:This is unfortunate, but true. A friend of mine, back in the day, graduated with 3rd Class from FUTO. Do you know that when his parents sent him to the UK to do his Masters, this dude won the award of the best graduating student in aeronautical engineering and was offered a lecturing job at the same time by the university? He is now an associate professor in the UK. Someone FUTO managed to give a 3rd class o! |
