Started using it when I recently became born again. Because when I see where God brought me out from, my extremely filthy past, but God still decided to make his love known to me, forgive my sins. I can't just hold myself but to shout Hallelujah!!!

Well Tupac Amaru Shakur inspired mine. I love his music
Obviously Chris happens to be my name as for the "Czar" I was inspired by the true life story Ivan IV Vasilyevich, the Grand prince of Moscow, the 1st Russian emperor to use the title Czar(a Russian equivalent of Ceaser) he unified the Waring and scatter country into the unified Russian nation we know today his ruthlessness earned him the beautiful title. "IVAN THE TERRIBLE".

On a serious note, who get this lady number? Send am to me, tell her she has found a new husband on nairaland.

This woman has no shame, as in literally no shame at all.

Why won't Yahoo Yahoo be the order of the day? When you killed the petroleum industry in Nigeria out of your greed. An oil worker has been reduced to less than a roadside mechanic thanks to the useless policies you introduced. Why won't those boys go into internet scam when the see the economic wailing of their elders?
God will truly judge you and your cronies.

I just started reading the 48 Laws of Power too. Being a born-again Christian doesn't necessarily mean you can't be inspired by other books.
I get you, truly I do. I read the 48laws of power cover to cover more than 15times(I'm not joking nor am I exaggerating) I applied it and it works like magic.
But upon my knowing the Lord, and my striving to follow his ways, most, infact all of those laws negates the true character of a bloodwashed, heaven bound Christian. The Bible is an all round manual on the life and character of a true Christian.

Congratulations to her, and may God bless all our hustles and smile on us.

Let me start first.
Mine is named The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do In Life And Business. It's a book by an American reporter, Charles Duhigg. Prior to reading that book, I used to have some bad habits that keep re-occuring, sometimes unconsciously. The book helped me identified and change some of my "keystone habits" which were the fountain from which other habits emerged.
So folks, what is that great book that shaped your life or that made you realise something important?
The essence of this thread is help one another by sharing different books. Someone on this forum may desperately need to read one or some of the books you'll share to make a great difference in their life.
I was glued by the 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene and a fervent follower of the philosopher "Niccolò Machiavelli". But upon becoming a Born Again Christian "The Holy Bible" has become my inspiration.

HealthRe: Dr Stella Immanuel COVID19 Hydroxychloroquine Video Deleted By Facebook, Twitter by CzarChris(m):
As a scientist, it now increasingly difficult to not agree with these conspiracy theorist on this COVID-19 bladadash.

It's common knowledge that Doctors practically watch people infected by this virus die, because they were given an instruction by WHO not to give any form of treatment to those infected, just make them comfortable, if their immune system is strong enough they survive, if it's not? They die. Which leaves doctors helpless in such situations.

Let's remove the religious card on this and look at the business part.
You create a demand for a product(nobody needs) that only you have the means to supply a solution (a cure in this case) when the time is right. You've made a killing!
Why create a cure, when you can simply get people hooked on your vaccine that you have to take periodically? Now for it to be readily available, governments subsidizes it heavily for their citizens.
BOOM!!!
You're a Trillionaire overnight.
This is a brilliant coup de gráce.

So what do you do, since you have the means to push your agenda. Create panic in the public, then your product becomes a must have.

To me, vaccine production companies are heavily complicit in what's going on right now.

I know it's safer than other cooking gases but I'm still curious about how the leakage will smell especially while trying to switch on the light.
How many seconds does it take to light up a gas cooker whenever you want to cook? I find this your question disturbing, but it's all good. Not everybody has a scientific way of viewing things.

Okay, assuming it leaks, would you prefer being burnt to crisps to have a little stench here and there. If you are scared of leakage, then buy a gas cooker with a self lighting mechanism, it's very cheap and affordable.
PoliticsRe: Imo State, Where A Village Cooks With Gas From Toilets by CzarChris(m): 6:54am On Jul 26, 2020
This is not new, some countries already use this. Our faeces produces methane gas. While in the university, years ago, 2006 to be precise, I and two of my friends, Oscar and Iyke produced pure blue burning methane gas from poultry droplets, it's still the same process.

For those saying it's not healthy, what type of aroma will cooking with faecial fuel give the food. It's perfectly healthy, and no "aroma" whatsoever. As the gas comes out, it simply burns so no "aroma" will escape, it's safe.

It's biogas for crying out loud.
CelebritiesRe: D’Banj Continues ₦1.5 Billion Libel Case As Seyitan Withdraws Petition by CzarChris(m): 12:11am On Jul 26, 2020
My opinion is simple, even though it might not matter much.

D'BANJ should follow this case up to its logical conclusion, if she proves d'banj raped her, then he should face the music, if at the end of the day, it is proved beyond every reasonable doubt that she lied against him, either to gain popularity or blackmail him, then she should pay for damages or rot in hell.

People should honestly start taking responsibility for their actions.

If D'banj drops these charges against her, I will personally sue him for misleading the public and disregard for public trust.

Someone must be used as an example, else this nonsense will continue.

PS: I'm not joking about suing D'banj, I'll do it.

Let me be clear

I did not call you ignorant
The statement is what is ignorant
Not you
There is a difference

That said
PNTR was a sell out to the corporate America

To leverage on China cheap labour
And dystopian state
And the American markets
If Trump is serious about bringing the industries home

He should table it on the floor
That PNTR be dissolved/repealed
The logic makes sense
But the approach is wrong
If you want to kill a tree
You uproot it
Not cut the branches

That's my point

And no, the Democrats do not want to turn America into a socialist state.

There is no left wing party in Ameruca
Democrats are centre right
Republicans are far right
Thanks for the correction, my bad.
To me all Democrats are far left, way far left. you're either left or right nothing like center right (this is my own personal definition ohh, don't quote me).

You're either liberal or a conservative, no mid-point.

This is a very ignorant statement to make

PNTR is what gave china the leeway to at least advance to the level they are at today

Go and check who was president when PNTR was enacted

And stop spreading falsehoods undecided
America knows what to do, but because of corporate greed are not ready to do it

Repeal PNTR and orchestrate the ouster of China from WTO
Its game over
But ndi Apple na Nike and all these criminal companies that are taking advantage of China's dystopian and dysfunctional state to line their pockets will lobby day and night AGAINST it undecided

When greed comes before patriotism
This is what happens
Thanks for calling me ignorant, but it's known that Democrats have always wanted to make the US a socialist based economy rather than Capitalist. But socialism is an error because it makes the populace lazy. But capitalism make everybody hustle to make a head way in life. PNTR started with Bill Clinton who is a Democrat, so put the dots together. Yes China has come to stay, but these companies need to go back to America in order to boost the economy (Trump's logic) which is actually patriotic when you come to think about it. Yes greed is a constant with humans, and it's always glareing with Capitalist, but you can't deny Trump's logic.
Foreign AffairsRe: China Orders Closure Of US Consulate In Chengdu by CzarChris(m):
Look, I like Trump. His showmanship and strongman political outlook is fun to look at. I understand his MAGA policy, truth is that the Obama administration made China and Iran unnecessary world powers, by making so many concessions to Beijing in business transactions, in his quest to creat a socialist based economy for the US (which is crazy if you come to think of it) Trump is a businessman and a Capitalist meaning he understands the business world better than Obama who was a career politician.
But honestly, this move by POTUS is not one you make on an election year. Americans are like spolit brats, you have to gently wean them off being childish, to accept Trump's policies.

For those asking how he gave Iran power. Check the Dynamics of the Arab spring, you'll understand.

FamilyRe: At What Age Did Your Parents Stop Flogging You? by CzarChris(m): 7:16am On Jul 20, 2020
Mikkymilli:
In light of a recent trending video of a father flogging his daughter, a lot of people were of the opinion that she wasn't supposed to be flogged since she is 18 while majority (on twitter and nairaland) were in support of the father disciplining his daughter for going against his order.

On this note, I'll like to ask 'What age were you when your parents stopped flogging you?'
And also, 'What age do you think is the right age for a parent to stop flogging the child?'

As for me, I think i was 12 then. My mom would use different tools like garri turner, slippers, cane, etc. Looking back now, I know it was all to mould me into the gentleman I am today.
As for the second question, I think the flogging should stop before the child gets to senior secondary level so he/she won't develop an everlasting hatred for you (the parent) cos that teenage age can make or mar your relationship with your child. The child can be disciplined via other means, but not necessarily flogging.

The floor is open guys. What's your take on it?
My I think I was around 12 years old, that was in '97 precisely. I don't remember what I did but my mum who would always beat me up to a pulp wanted to hit me I raised my hands to defend myself. Upon her hand touching me her hand broke. That was the last time my mum ever beat me. grin My Dad who was against corporal punishment(this because my Dad never ever laid a finger on me till he died) was delighted, he was like " You saw a giant like this and you feel you could continue beating him abi?" I felt bad though, because I saw my mum in pains. But that was the last time she ever raised her hands to flog me.
