But socialism is an error because it makes the populace lazy. But capitalism make everybody hustle to make a head way in life. PNTR started with Bill Clinton who is a Democrat, so put the dots together. Yes China has come to stay, but these companies need to go back to America in order to boost the economy (Trump's logic) which is actually patriotic when you come to think about it. Look, I like Trump. His showmanship and strongman political outlook is fun to look at. I understand his MAGA policy, truth is that the Obama administration made China and Iran unnecessary world powers, by making so many concessions to Beijing in business transactions, in his quest to creat a socialist based economy for the US (which is crazy if you come to think of it) Trump is a businessman and a Capitalist meaning he understands the business world better than Obama who was a career politician.

In light of a recent trending video of a father flogging his daughter, a lot of people were of the opinion that she wasn't supposed to be flogged since she is 18 while majority (on twitter and nairaland) were in support of the father disciplining his daughter for going against his order.

On this note, I'll like to ask 'What age were you when your parents stopped flogging you?'
And also, 'What age do you think is the right age for a parent to stop flogging the child?'

As for me, I think i was 12 then. My mom would use different tools like garri turner, slippers, cane, etc. Looking back now, I know it was all to mould me into the gentleman I am today.
As for the second question, I think the flogging should stop before the child gets to senior secondary level so he/she won't develop an everlasting hatred for you (the parent) cos that teenage age can make or mar your relationship with your child. The child can be disciplined via other means, but not necessarily flogging.

My I think I was around 12 years old, that was in '97 precisely. I don't remember what I did but my mum who would always beat me up to a pulp wanted to hit me I raised my hands to defend myself. Upon her hand touching me her hand broke. That was the last time my mum ever beat me. My Dad who was against corporal punishment(this because my Dad never ever laid a finger on me till he died) was delighted, he was like " You saw a giant like this and you feel you could continue beating him abi?" I felt bad though, because I saw my mum in pains. But that was the last time she ever raised her hands to flog me.
