Great100000:Thanks for the good wishes. |
Thanks for this thread man. I'm moving into a new apartment(two bedroom apartment) by next month's end, was thinking of adding some style to the living room. I'm so going for 5. Modified: Then again, might go for 8 or 12. Well the pocket will tell. ![]() |
Supported!!! This is an affront that must not go unpunished. Shutdown Nigeria's gas supply to Ghana for starters, throw around a few sanctions here and there, a few trade embargos, infact flex a few muscles. Let the rest of Africa remember that it's Nigeria they are dealing with, in case they are suffering from a case of selective amnesia. Yes we are fu*ked as a country, but it's an internal thing don't think you can come take advantage of our personal problems and spit in our faces. Situations like this makes me remember the Late Gen. Sani Abacha. |
Actually,
ALL LIVES MATTER |
Iceyjayz:Worst mistake ever for an upcoming young man. |
seunmsg:This right here is the problem of this country, you guys believe everyone is replaceable. In my field, we are less than 20 registered professionals Nationwide with international recognition. So you'll end up having mediocre lecturers without mentors churning out unemployable graduates. Good luck with that. It's the upcoming generation I pity. |
seunmsg:The problem I have is that this is a public forum, I would have posted documents here, but it's too sensitive to be posted here so let me overlook them. IPPIS scammed us. I have the templates agreed by the AGF and the Director of IPPIS to be paid workers. Only to be paid just consolidated salaries? Don't worry, just let your paymasters know that they will have themselves to blame with the events of the coming months. So many of my colleagues and me inclusive are taking our services to were it would be appreciated, and fillers from different universities are all moving towards the same direction. Just be prepared, the brain drain that will happen in this country very soon will be epic. Bookmark this comment. |
coputa:This is a very sad Truth. |
Great news. Please Warri, Sapele and Koko ports should be revived as well. |
seunmsg:Then why did IPPIS agree to a template to pay FTIs and then renegade on the agreement and paid only consolidated salaries, totally removing allowances that there are agreed with the Federal Government in the 2009 Agreements, thereby throwing Nigerian tertiary education workers into the Stone age. IPPIS is a scam, simple. The coming university strikes will be the mother of all strikes, PENGASSAN learnt from our perils, let no one judge them harshly. |
kikero:Are you aware of a video that trended a few months ago where a woman came forward that her aunty works for IPPIS and she just keyed in her account number and she receives salaries whenever federal workers are paid, she gets the credit alert and them remits an agreed amount back to her aunty who keyed in her name and details into the platform? Look corruption has eaten deep into our system in this country. |
Wiseandtrue:Now you understand why other sectors that have not joined IPPIS are scared to join. Take which government to which court? Who appointed the judges in the courts? Abeg, strike is the only tool available to workers in this country to get their rights. |
kikero:The funny thing here is that the other university unions that joined IPPIS, presented their peculiarities to the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation and to the office of the Director IPPIS, they both agreed to effect the peculiarities and allowances even printed a template of what their salaries would look like. When the salaries were paid, our Yahoo Yahoo government, threw away the template they said they have agreed to and paid only the consolidated salary. Is this not scam? Let our government stop scamming their citizens, then corruption will die naturally |
Wiseandtrue:I was thinking of this IPPIS thing the same way you where, until it really hit me. I happen to work in a university, ASUU rejected IPPIS to the latter and it's now clear why. when the FG forcibly paid us using IPPIS I saw my salary I almost burst into tears. All our agreements with the Federal government was thrown to the dogs. I for one was paid less 65k my initial salary. A professor who earns between 550k-650k now earns 345k. A professor o! After years of updating yourself, money spent on publishing journals, getting your PhD and spending over 20years of your life in the academia, you now earn 345k? When a professor in Uganda earns over a million naira monthly. IPPIS is a scam, full blown scam. PENGASSAN is reacting like this, because they saw what IPPIS did to the educational sector, they learnt from our blunder. Mark my words, the level of brain drain that will occur in this country when this pandemic is over will be mind boggling. |
Just30:Agreed, but what if there's no court order to that effect? |
Farki:Jokes apart, if Nigeria actually wants to take this up, Nigeria won't have to go war mornging to get Ghana punished for this. Just a simple push to ecowas and AU to enforce a few sanctions on Ghana or no diplomatic mission in Africa is safe. That's all. |
This is an affront and a huge breach of international diplomacy. This can be termed as an Act of War by the Ghanaians. |
Explorers:But Titanic is BS na. |
mapet:Seriously, will you give this a rest? I see your looking for someone to insult here since nairaland is a faceless forum. Please be guarded. |
mapet: ![]() Dude, believe me, your too uptight. You need to lighten up a bit. Stop walking around like you've got a stick way up your azz. This life is too simple and short to be taken too seriously. Seriously, I don't even gamble. I just made a little comic relief with a bite of sarcasm and your all over my case calm down. Another thing guy I'm no kid, so please speak with me with atleast a little pinch of respect. Thank you. |
mapet:WTF is wrong with you, are you so daft that you don't understand what sarcasm is? Oga "know it all" continue with your over serious view of life, na your type High BP dey quick kill. Nonsense! |
deji17:Lord knows, when I saw this topic my immediate thought was like Nigerian government don open bet shop to generate more IGR? |
My pikin don grow no mean say e get sense. I blame the young man sha for marrying a compounded f00l like you in the first place. Na God himself go judge you and your wicked family. Nonsense and Ingredients.............Mtchewwww! |
Fasindo:I'm positively shocked, this goes to emphasize what I've always been saying, that the elite don't see religion or tribe, just permanent interest. Believe it or not this is a coup de gráce for this administration in no little way. |
1Sharon:And how is it your headache? You no dey see our Nigerian boys 23-28years getting married to white Mamas of 65-90years? Why are they not getting as much criticism as Regina Daniels is getting? Leave the "little girl" alone. Haba!!! Na her life o! |
Why are people so bitter? Regina is not a child, she was over 20years when she married Ned, so why the hate. Abeg, stop the hate and face your hustle people. |
Prodigee:My brother, ask am o! |
And so it begins. |
Nyamuri:I just pray God gives you wisdom, you really need it. |
Nyamuri: prowest:You people hate the Igbos, oya let them go a constitute their own country, una no gree let them go. You guys are a highly confused lot. I hate tribal bigotry with passion. This right here is the true reason Nigeria can never move forward. Our politicians don't see tribe or religion as far as their personal interest is taken care of. They only play the tribalism/religious card to keep the masses divided and you'll can never be any wiser for it. So continue. |
Look, this issue of marital rape is dicey, I once dated a girl that her sexual libido was no where close to mine. She knew I wanted to marry her, so she would sometimes want to use sex as a bargaining chip to get whatever she wanted from me. Then this continued for a while, the last straw was when she came to spend the week with me, she didn't let me touch her for three days, I had to masturbate to free myself one of those nights. I broke up with her the very next day, she said "so it's because of sex you are breaking up with me", imagine the ungrateful heediot I was helping pay her bills back then. I replied "YES" this stuff is definitely not going to work, get your broke azz out of my house. Now imagine you as a man have that kind of person as a wife at home, you are completely finished. Na so we go dey settle your marital rape matter for nairaland upandan. I never marry o, but please if you are crazy, find who is as crazy as you and marry. If you are cool, find iceblock like you marry. Don't go and marry crazy and hope to turn the individual to iceblock na you go taya and vise versa. |
hmonaco:It's official, the world has finally gone mad. Godforbid. |
