that would be the public opinion.
they must have groomed her, threatened her, coerced her or forced her into it.

2 men vs 1 woman - she was abused
1 man vs 2 women - he's an oloshious fellow
Which public? That public doesn't include me o esp if the son was a minor. She would equally be an oloshious fellow grin esp if she was sleeping with the son while still with the father. I won't say the son was the only that was disloyal by sleeping with his dad's girlfriend

Coogar you just like arguing cheesy

The man is equally or even more disgusting than the girl because I am guessing he is older than the daughter in question.

...my girl is dong fine thanks for asking. She's grown on me so much - she's now my official side-chick grin! I may have to post pix at some point.

Anyone with a grounded character - even with a colour/tone preference will not make it a deal breaker when push comes to shove. This is about hiding behind ideology and activism to validate your angst. Vicariously copping feelings and them getting all enraged when the object does not conform to your desires.

I posted the link where I recounted how I was royally dissed for not being tall enough - make I dey form "Heightavist" as a result ni grin!

Short is as short does angry!

TV
Don't worry she is already half way to wrapping you around her fingers grin

Lol @ Heightavist.

While I don't get the rant on who another person decides to be with, I kinda also think I really don't have the right to tell her not to rant as I have probably not had the experiences she has had. Race issues would always be viewed differently by Africans and AA's.

or the two women connived to lure him into their beds. poor man! seduced & manipulated to sire kids for mother & daughter.

you can imagine the outcry if a woman made babies for father & son. grin everyone would be saying she was sëxually abused. in the name of gender equality, i think this man is a victim of sêxual abuse. grin
Who would say she was s.exually abused? I would also think she was disgusting for sleeping and having babies with father and son. That's just gross.

On the average,

Fairer kids are cuter (not white though)
Yeepa you are buying into the stereotype cheesy

It's not always the case. I was a very very dark kid and I was cute if I do say so myself grin grin cute looking kids depend on how they are taken care of and groomed.

There are so many cute dark skinned children.

Lighter skinned kids look more attractive though.

That's why I don't want those kain talks around my daughter so she does not start feeling something is wrong with being dark skinned.

People need to be comfortable with their own skin and looks. There are millions of women who are more attractive, more beautiful, cuter grin etc than I am but What can I do than accept myself warts and all?

...how far Dami?

One of the minor reasons I kinda wanted a second son was because my boy is so cute, I didn't think we'd be so blessed again and I figured a not so handsome man can always compensate in other ways.

We also "agreed" that if it was per chance a girl, it should look like her mum. Any girl that looks like me go suffer - no matter how light skinned grin.

Funnily enough, she's a stunner - yes I know, I have to say that - looks similar to her brother, and the real surprise; she's quite light skinned? Let me just call madam to make sure she keeps her out of the sun cheesy!

TV
Hi TV how's lil princess doing? Am sure she is growing so much as the weeks ago by.

I wonder how you would have pulled off the looks engineering grin

It does not matter to me though I think they are both beautifully and wonderfully made(like all mums think of their children grin monkey no fine but Im mama like am). I just think its highly insensitive to say things like ' gosh your son is so cute much Finer than his sister' or ' they should have swapped it the other way round as boy and girl' angry sometimes when my daughter is within hearing. We are doing all we can to build character first and everything else would follow. I never ever felt less 'finer' than lighter skinned people while growing up and bleaching or 'toning' never crossed my mind. My parents my dad especially helped with that.

Funny enough life is funny because I never thought I would be married to a lighter skinned dude grin the default setting used to be 'tall dark and handsome' cheesy

he's not an oloshious fellow cheesy

so you mean the 19-year old girl is not old enough to know the guy is her mom's boyfriend? she had to open her legs for him? are we shifting the responsibility of the girl to the boyfriend? unless he had räped the girl, the fault lies with her. she should have been loyal to her mom.
They both deserve blame. She for sleeping with her mums boyfriend and the guy for sleeping with his girlfriend's daughter.

Chai see how you people have finished us darkies on this thread. embarassed embarassed take it easy on us naa.

But stillfire is correct though on how black people see lighter skinned people as ' finer' .God knows how many people I have had to shut up from saying my son is cuter than my daughter ( I don't want all those kain inferiority complex inducing talks around my child angry).

Even me ,I get from supposedly educated people o ' I thought you would be lighter now that you live in the UK' huh

#teamdarkiesarebeautiful cool

That said one can't choose who another person will have a preference for. That's why it's called choice.

Is he not an oloshious fellow ni? Utterly disgusting * pukes*

Daughter was wrong but abeg let's also throw some responsibility to the man who would sleep with the daughter of the woman he is seeing.SMH. Oloshious fellow.

I am sure the husband wants to expose both wife and Ambode. Most mid management staff in FCMB know the story. This woman was not ashamed of her actions and even showed it openly. She started moving with the wrong crowd. Divorcees and aristo women. Such a shame because they started so well.

What greed will cause ehn
Not holding brief for her at all.I am a Lagos gal so I know their type. cheesy

My point was after he exposes her what good will it do to him? If they had no children I might understand it a bit but sometimes as a parent you put the needs of your children first before acting.

That's my opinion sha.

so what do you advise? he should start a tug-of-war with his wife & spend the remainder of his savings on a long-drawn divorce case? grin cheesy

sometimes, one must lose to win.

it's the gender equality era.
women have been doing this for aeons and it formed a wrong perception that only husbands cheat. the men have tagged along and they are reminding us women are as awful as men, if not worse. grin

if the wife had thought of this little detail, she wouldn't have let ambode ram into her like a rabid buffalo. grin
So the children not only have to endure a cheating mum but they also have to suffer the indignity of their dad tweeting it all over cyberspace?

polygyny isn't illegal in nigeria.
and to have a second wife, there must be a relationship in the first place. his marital status has nothing to do with it. if there's polynadry in nigeria then the wife would be blameless too.

having more than a wife in these countries is a criminal offence. compare like for like. if clinton was nigerian during the monica lewinsky saga, do you really think it would be news?

i already took that into consideration. even if the story is true, ambode hasn't done a lot wrong here. this matter cannot dent his political ambition.
Ok o coogar

But what's up with all these bros who keep tweeting and youtubing their wives affairs? First it was the janitor now Ambode?

Why not just divorce the woman and move on with your life? Dont they realise their children will eventually use the Internet even if they are still little? undecided Women used to endure some kain things for the sake of the children why can't these men not do the same not for the sake of the cheating woman but for the children they had together? ambode hasn't done anything wrong here. she didn't hold the woman at gunpoint to drop her panties. it's not a rapë case. grin

But wait he is in Nigeria so he did nothing wrong grin

Its like saying when Edwina Curry and John Major had an affair John Major did nothing wrong cos it was not rape.

Coogar you ehn cheesy Lets not forget we have to take this thread as 'alleged' cos we don't have the accused parties here to defend themselves. So my post was actually not saying Ambode did anything I was just telling Ewuro who he was wink

That's what i said on the other thread, there is no authority in that household.
True. ..I can't fight my sis in law sef not to talk of my MIL because I respect my husband too much for that.
FamilyRe: How To Treat Your Mother Inlaw. by damiso(f):
Taryour I love the spirit of the story you shared and I think it's a great one to emulate not just for MIL or DIL relationships but even life in general. When you take the decision to love and not hate life is more peaceful.thar said life is not really an ideal place and sometimes some people are just unloveable and it's just best to leave a distance.

Sorry for digressing grin Back to topic I really wish I had a mother in law because I feel sad my MIL never saw Her children grow up and she never got to see her grandchildren.

However in as much as I believe in treating your MIL well and how you would treat your mum,I kinda agree with those who say it's very easy to say but hardly realistic. My mother is my mother she has spent all my life with me she might never have met my husband if not for me. She loves my husband but I am not going to kid myself into thinking she loves my husband as much as she loves me.She could transfer the love she has for me to him but to say it's natural is not being realistic . You just love your child you TRY to love your SIL/DIL because of your child.

That's why I believe (and learnt from experience) that the best person to lay boundaries is the child of the parent involved. And by laying boundaries i don't mean' total separation' or 'me and my husband/wife' alone no relatives. I love my mum to bits I speak to her almost everyday but she knows that there are now some things she can't dictate in my life without me discussing with my husband.

For me, my mum is my mum and my husband is my husband. As much as my MIL is late I don't kid myself into thinking that I can take that place, I am not his mother I am his wife and so if she was alive I would know and respect her place as his mother. But it would help if she too would not want to be mother and wife. Its however not my place to fight her or quarrel with her to fight for my 'space' it's left to my husband to let his mother know that roles are different but equally important.
