WE WILL NOT CALM DOWN
By Gbadegesin Oluwadamilare
Government is saddled with the responsibility of providing free education, job opportunities, security, Basic and social amenities for her citizens. Any government that cannot meet up with the expectations of the citizens is liable to impending actions in form of complaints on social and mass media, protests, industrial actions and revolution.
As you can see from the recent viral video of "mummy calm down", the woman was trying to let her son know that she's not comfortable with his incessant going against her will (disobedience). Which made her to be angry with him. She bullied, pressurized and lay more emphasizes on the point of him being warned not to commit same offence again. The innocent looking boy wanted to use cunning ways to let his mom stop the complaints and displeasures by telling her to calm down and rest, but the woman continued to emphasize on the point of him going against her will.
People in government have so long been playing on the intelligents of those who elected them into various political positions, and they have been coming out to calm us down with different eccusess. The senario in the 'mummy calm down's video can be related to what has been going on between Nigerian government and the citizens. The government of the day is calming us down and stylishly telling us to go and rest when the country is no more safe, the economy is bad, infrastructure is deteriorating, unemployment is increasing daily and corruption in governance is out of control. They tell us to calm down and overlook their misappropriation, corruption and unfulfilled promises.
We calmed down during their first tenure, we forgave their failures, and voted them in again to correct their mistakes. They promised us : $1 will equal #100, efficient transportation system, free food for school students, economy boost, one million jobs, contant and stable power supply, end to insurgency, kidnapping and banditary. They had the majority mandates, and could not implement what the majority expected from them. We calmed down and look as they are going slow. But it seems we have began to die in silence. Things have become worse: The safety of lives and property is no more guaranteed, No job, No electricity, quaterly Inflation, and our leaders are busy borrowing to implement white elephant projects.
It is high time we mount pressure on our political leaders and make good of our human rights to let them know that the system is not working. But they have become so defiant to our complaints. We complain on social and mass media, they brought 'fake news' policy to curtail and checkmate our loud voices, and also impose a fine of five millions naira on defaulters. We express our grievances through lawful protests, they send security operatives to harass, arrest and teargas us in the name of forcing us to calm down. For how long are we going to calm down in a failed system?
In a democratic system, there should be freedom of expression and right to checkmate the excesses of government through lawful protest, but reverse is the case in this country. Our human rights have been abused and violated.
Should we be unemployed and calm down?
Should we be hungry and calm down?
Should we be dying and calm down?
Should there be corruption in government and calm down?
No!! We will not calm down and go to rest until all these anomalies are addressed and fixed by the government.
The best ways to let the government feel our pains, worries and displeasures is by speaking out, protests and in the worst case revolution now. We cannot continue to die in silence.

There is nothing special in this undecided

Campaign ground has no
*Thermometer
*Sanitizer
*Water to wash hand

And most of the people wear no face mask in order to shout Obaseke/iyamu very well.

But this useless government is trying to enforce stupid law in places of worship.

Why should I be serving my creator under 'the law/Bondage'? Impossicant!!

I'll resume church whenever I'm free to serve my creator without any preventive measures.

For now, my room is my church!!

Family / Re: His Wife Denies Him Sex Even When He Pays All The Bills by DammyGbade(m): 11:27am On Aug 02, 2020
According to married women, there are several things that may cause sex denial in marriage.

1). Pains during intercourse
2). Infidelity in marriage
3). When man is not taking responsibility
4). Difficulties/pains during birth (some women gives birth only by C/S)
5). Fear of stress caused by pregnancy due to the nature of work the women does.
6). Family planning or fixing consception period by some women.

My advice to intending couple is to understand themselves better before going into marriage.

And to couples, instead of sharing your family matters with third parties or making it a public debate; sit yourselves down first, reason together, discuss sex not money and spend much time together.

Above all, Understanding is the key to a peaceful relationship, home and marriages.

The rate at which access bank do deducts money from someone's account when small money is saved in the account is alarming. Charging #35 for withdrawing from other banks and stamp duty (without reversal for my own account). Monthly and quarterly maintenance charges is still very much in place. The one that shock me more is the so called Quartered maintenance fee that was deducted from my account this morning. Please, which quarter are we into? Because me I don't understand

A young lady at my working place from Anambra state was narating her bitter past for me last week. She said her parents never bought a pant for her starting from her primary school days... She said she has been hustling since she was in primary school....
She said and I quote...
When I need something I go meet my mama, my mama go tell me say make I go meet my papa. When I tell my papa, my papa go talk say "no be your mate dey hustle outside"... Since then I don learn to do things by myself. Thank God for where I am today.

My advice for all people that are in the same shoe with this boy (over dependent on parents) is that they should start HUSTLING.

"Gambari enslaved himself to please his slavemaster"... To be sincere with you, that attribute qualify him to be the new COS. Leaders do like someone that will be their puppet.... Adesina is doing his job perfectly well... Those of you condemning him will do more than that when you get to such position.

Career / Re: N5 Million Cash Or A 100k Job? Help Him Decide by DammyGbade(m): 10:13pm On May 10, 2020
Very interesting topic... In my own opinion, if the job is in a private organization, omo forget about the job and collect the 5m. Because there's no Job security when working for private organization. But if the job is federal or state, please go for the 100k, because with time you'll be promoted and be collecting up to 1m per month and most importantly is that there's job security.

To safe your life and secure your job in Nigerian, you need to dance to the tunes of your oga at the top... I pity those hypocrites throwing stones at Femi. If you're given a job by a president or any other boss... Just be coming out in public to go against your employer... grin That means you're ready to go back to ur village and start cultivating cucumber and stone rice... I don't blame lai Muhammed and Femi Adesina ooo... Let them enjoy their stay in aso rock for peace ooo... It's their time... Where is Ruben abati of those days and where is Fani kayode of some years back? They've all become underdogs... A time will come when Femi Adesina and co. Will become a story...
