So I went to stay at some big brothers' place last weekend and they talked about their relationship issues. One common point in all of their stories was they spent money on their girlfriends and they still left. One of them started dating a girl when she was in 200l, saw her through school, he even got her a laptop for her final year project and after graduation, he spent over 500k on helping her move to a city and start up her business and that was the end of them. He tried with another girl, same thing happened. All of these guys have similar stories.
When I pointed out that they were probably victims of scam, one of them said ' spending on my girlfriend is normal coz she's my responsibility and that does not make me a 'mugun'.
I then came to the conclusion that these girls probably never liked them but chose to stay with them because they were their 'source of livelihood'.
My advice to the ladies, please if you will not stay with a guy, just let him go. Most guys except few like these guys will punish another random lady for your own sin.
My main advice is to the guys: when chasing a girl, stop putting money first. Try to establish friendship and not the I-can-take-care-of-your-needs attitude if not, you'll keep attracting scammers. Reason being that, you lured them with money and that's all they'll be after. These ladies will go as far as marrying you and leave when they are done with you.
Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't take care of your girlfriend but let money not be the reason ladies fall for you. Show them some other side of you. It could be your sense of humour, your level of intelligence or anything. Every guy has that one thing that's gonna keep people attracted to them. What I'm asking is that guys should bring something other than money to the table else your partners will keep cheating on you with guys who are 'poor' coz contrary to what you think, money is not everything.

PS: I know there are no straightjacket rules as to how a relationship should be run .
My conclusion is based on personal experience, observation, talk with guys and my recent discussion with these 4 friends.

As much as i agree with you, the state should have sold off the investment to preserve the national airline. Ruining it and carrying on without an alternative like every other Nigerian thing is the very sad part.

I asked if their son told them what he did? they said he did not. but as things stands now am pulling out of the relationship until he confesses to the world what he did and why he did it.

Can you imagine, 44 years ago, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates all indicated interest to learn how Nigeria turned the Nigeria Airways into an intercontinental national carrier with 1,500 destinations across the world, generating N150 Billion naira profit yearly and providing jobs directly for 10,000 Nigerians. Ethiopia airline was ranked 48 (First in Africa), South Africa Airways 49 (second in Africa) and Kenya Airways was ranked 91. Majority of guys are very immature and unacceptable societal-wise by their attitude and appearance!

*Dirty boxers: Some guys wear boxers for weeks without changing them! Dirty pikin and u won toast babe. White boxers go turn to carton colour

*White singlet turns brown: I still wonder how some guys wear white singlet till it turns brown! Some guys' singlets have even turned to buba with a wide space under the arms. The skinny ones will look like hangers inside the singlet! abeg upgrade joor!!!

*Keeping bushy hairs: This is seriously a turn-off! Does it mean you can't afford 200 naira to cut your hair? Are you practicing madness? Some barbers even charge 150 naira! Guy, abeg go cut your hair make you look like human being.

*Wearing skinny Jeans: I don't mind seeing small boys do this but not when you have come of age. Do you know how you look? Over 30 and you still wear jeans that make you look like vulture that has been beaten by rain!

*Sagging: Exposing your cheap boxers that you bought from gbogbo at the rate of 150 naira! Continue to misbehave, there is a prize for you

*Wanting to sleep with a lady on a first date: This is the most annoying and dumbest! You just meet a girl and you want to sleep with her? Because of the 1000 naira you spent on refreshment? Well, only girls without class fall for that. One day, your uncontrollable appetite for sex will land you in Kirikiri Maximum Security!!! Akpa!

*Taking drugs and alcohol to make love: So you can really do this? You plan to destroy someone's daughter? I never knew you could be so serious to apply a lot of strength and energy with adequate planning for this ac! Yet, you have not been able to plan your life or think of putting in so much energy in your work or career! Nonsense!

The rate at which most guys post degrading stuffs about ladies is very high yet they don't critically evaluate their own lives! Adumadu body!

This is very common among naija guys,ladies can you relate to this: you will be walking on your own jejely and one bloke from no where will stop you and start saying rubbish,telling you he loves you and asking you to be his girlfriend or even marry him. He doesnt know if you're married,in a relationship.....he doesnt even know your second name!



I've heard of love at first sight,but i also believe in sense,so if you meet a lady and like her shouldnt the appropriate thing be getting to know her first?
