Aybee92: |
Came prepared to castigate the o.p but after reading through, I've to say, 'O.p, you're on point'. Summary (f d lazy asses), d south is it's own biggest problem. One thing the North learnt from the colonialists, is the 'Divide and Rule' tactic and they have been using it so effectively till date. Tnx@poster |
countsparrow:May appear so through the haze of weed smoke, But.. try looking at him without all that shiz and u Might be amazed.. #just saying |

andee4real:Dude, Airtel IS Crap.. I used t buy 2gigs and it rarely goes 2weeks, even without any downloads or heavy browsing.. come to think of it, maybe, you work f airtel ![]() |
EagleScribes:looool.. lmfao U know d feeling, and that silly airtel chic on the airtel thread had d effontery to tell me it was My Usage ![]() Almost drop kicked her.lol |
phrezzz:Bwahahahahahaha.... **continues sipping my zobo, listening to Chris Brizzies 'loyal'** E just got served.. |
onila:missed u too...and your picture threads/posts. our own NL celebrity |
akthedream:comprehension..s.m.h Apc's zoning arrangement. |
ACM10:Aribisala, like him or not, has raised Very Important points that I thought would be the basis of intelligent discourse but as usual, it's a replay of the usual ridiculous NL response, even by the self acclaimed intelligentsia, most of whom didn't bother reading the post. it is well.. |
GEJ was a good but remarkably weak president and that jeopardized so many things and that was y he failed,But.... There are are some salient points Aribisala has raised that needs looking into, and primary amongst them is d PVC issue. We may act like it doesn't matter now due to party leanings forgetting that these are figures that'll be influential in future elections. Also, I personally think he's right about the sectarian nature of the new ruling party. pdp with all it's failings was more of a national party but, especially with the zoning arrangements bin bandied about, the general impression here in d ss and se is as has been stated. Eventually tho, wat we all need is good governance and a better Nigeri |

Three people responsible for GEJs failure; 1. Himself 2.His wife; dame Patience Jonathan 3. others.. no more, no less. |
Nice write up...valid points, especially the top 4, but personally, I don't really see him delivering. Yes, the political will might be there but Buhari shared meals with too many devils and that is something that gives me much concern. Fingers crossed tho.. Praying he delivers for the good of all. Nigeria must be great again |
mmsen:It doesn't, but personally, I'll rather NOT get used to it so I can keep demanding for my respect than get used to it and let the 'bullshit' continue. |
mmsen:The ISIS commander/ leader Baghdadadi, is presently one of the most / if not the most influential person in the world right now, did he make d list?? Did Osama bin Laden, whose influence led to the creation of ISIS and Boko haram, ever make the list ![]() If the Times list is now also about the infamous, then they all should be included. This is the Height of insensitivity... and typical of the Whites double facedness , especially in all things African. To hell with TIME magazine sha #neveragain |
HungerBAD:I Absolutely agree with you. Though I personally think GEJ would have been a better choice to the president elect, truth is, Jonathan was a weak president and his wife took advantage of that, to turn the country into her private hustle. IT was simply embarrassing to watch. Well ,the silly woman refused to think, and now where/what has she left, what is her legacy ![]() @o.p.. Obj's time is finished in Nigerian politics, and GMB will put the final nail in.. |
Wonderful news. @o.p..the governor's man should be appropriate. |
bgates:Anybody/publication that expected APC to win must've been high on cheap, homemade experimental crack and shows they don't understand the South South. Whatever chance Dakuku /apc had was gone once GEJ lost the presidential. The state, both core pdp and soft apc supporters as a result were definitely going to give Wike (pdp) sympathy votes..so as not lose both ways.. add that to the massive unpopularity of Amaechi, and you'll find the result unsurprising. ppl didn't vote against Dakuku, they voted out Amaechi. One tins true about the South South.. We Are clannish to a fault. |
Wow. Wike achieved ALL this, post presidential election, with the security apparatus back in Amaechis hands, and with him virtually under house arrest since yesterday. It is well.. |
JustCalMeDBoss:Amaechi IS most likely going to be kicked to the curb, in a manner of speaking. His disloyalty and garrulous nature will make many wary of appointing him in any sensitive position which can be used to further his ambitions. Tinubu has a future battle@hand and I see him taking a potential troublemaker out of the equation asap.. . |
otokx:Kalabari is pro PDP, that's the truth. Dakuku is strong in phc lga, parts of ogoni (gokana) and the some of the outlying Lgas. Every other is pro PDP. Tonye Princewill will share parts of the Riverine with pdp, and mama P WILL Never allow apc pick Okrika, whether by hook or crook. Interesting sha...watching tho. |
First of all, the question is whether Nigerians voted the party or the man ![]() Secondly, I don't see why the party should 'ratify' ministerial appointments wen we have the national assembly... aren't the majority so far APC members?? Dunno and maybe wrong, but I see in this the beginnings of the inevitable power play between the president and d party chieftain(s). watching tho.... |
onatisi:...which doesn't portend well for the future of the country. A house divided amongst itself........ Will be interesting to follow tho. |
onatisi:Honestly, I don't see Buhari controlling the National assembly. Giving Buharis supposed nature, the national assembly will be the tool to check his 'excesses'. Will the northern politicians, his support base, toe his line Maybe, but all things considered, at the assembly level, I think Tinubu will have the edge. Already, an ally is in line to be Senate president, h.o.r next.Politics is a selfish game... Buhari needs be smart. |
onatisi:Truth.. Buhari unfortunately shook hands and got in bed with so many strange bed fellows, and many more are still jumping ship to join the orgy. The fallout btw Buhari and Tinubu is inevitable..The battlefield most likely will be the national assembly. Hope Buhari hasn't chewed off more than he can handle. |
BushidoBlue:Very well said. **calling airport**..pilot, deliver 1 carton of Orijin to this man's destination asap.. |
fitzmayowa:loool... That's how it begins; first the little little twist in previous statements made, then the all out retractions. Very soon it'll be the full out denial. Politicians are ALL the same... and anyone that thinks they can just up and GEJ out a seating president, esp after they've learnt from the last election, is dreaming. It takes a Willingness from the top to make that possible. fingers crossed tho. |
Have been actively looking for a gym where I can take up my boxing training. Something a bit private. Anybody know of any ![]() |
