You claim you supported Jonathan because you didn't want a Northerner yet the Yaradua whom Jonathan succeeded got bloc votes from your region in 2007 and would have again swept your region again had he survived to vie for a second term in 2015. I guess Yaradua was a Southerner, right? And may I ask you if you had assumed that it wasn't a Northerner (a Fulani) that Jonathan would have still handed power over to in 2019 had he won reelection in 2015? You are obviously deceiving yourself. Why is your beloved PDP currently having cold feet about zoning its 2023 ticket to your region despite all the service of slavery you have religiously offered to the party against all odds for the past 22 years and you are still ready to vote for the Northerner it is sure to throw up soon?

Your support in 2015 became toxic to him as it made him a hardsell in the eyes of SW and MB hence his defeat.

Those who actually ruined Nigeria were all people who came to power as very young men, e.g. Aguiyi Ironsi at age 42 and destroyed the independence constitution which had resource control and regional autonomy; Gowon at age 30, Murtala Mohammed at age 35, Obasanjo at age 36, Buhari at age 41, IBB at age 44, Abacha at age 49, etc. Even in this present democratic dispensation some of the worst governors are the youthful ones like Ibori and Lucky Igbinedion who were both in their early forties in 1999 when they got to office. Even Obasanjo himself who laid the foundation for the misgovernance of this democratic dispensation was just about 65 in 1999.
