A friend of called me today to sought for my advise and views for the choice he will make between these two jobs. I told him i will get back to him when i think over it. Pls us with ur advise

First Job is with a Federal Institution in Abuja. The job is permanent and pensionable. And the starting salary is 110k monthly. Though he doesnt have accommodation.

Second Job with NGO in one of the state in the north. Although the job is a contract one for one month. Renewable after every month but may not last more than 4months. The salary is 220k. But no certainty that whether the contract may last 2 months to come.

My friend's plan was to work small in Nigeria get some money marry and migrate to UK or US. Although he is a health worker a nurse.

why does he need advice on a glaring mater like this. Common tell him to take 220k job because in the present Nigeria, person no know how long he go live, more especially people in the Northern so why taking a long time job.

it's always itchy when u start newly, and that because u are not used to it. Just try as much as possible to ignore it and if u must scratch it, wash it with sponge if u are at home.After a day or 3 it will stop. But remember it has to be always clean.

the fact that you made it at a very tender age doesn't mean it's a standard for everyone to succeed that early. 19-23 like you said is not when to make it, but obviously when to be on track towards a career. Be it academics, business, handwork, etc.
A 19 year old on average obviously just finished secondary School about a year or two before. Some will still be writing their first or second jamb, while those who were lucky enough would be in their first or second year in the uni.
An average 23 year old on the other hand is probably in his 3rd or final year in the uni, a few others might have graduated at that point, waiting for service while others out of school might still be under apprenticeship, or just gained Independence.
So my bro, I do not know where you got your generalizations from.
