I’m rooting for you both, I think at 33 weeks there’s still hope, it’s 38 weeks I’m worried about and I’m hoping a miracle happens.
With all these I’m reading I won’t make the mistake of renewing before I leave, I’ll leave before it expires and renew when I’m back because once your passport goes in you have no control on when it comes back and what’s going on with it inside there.

Have you tracked your passport? Please do it should be ready. You’re far gone already. My friend submitted on the 8th and it was ready by 22nd or 21st I can’t remember the exact date but they waited till after holidays to pick up the passport. Try tracking by sending an email containing just your passport number to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com make sure there’s nothing else in the body of the email asides the passport number.

I think the horror story season is over. If you qualify for Dropbox(48 months timeline) then do Dropbox, if not attend your interview and you’ll be okay. Compliments of the season.

Those information are irrelevant, to be qualified for Dropbox, your visa must have been issue in 2018, you must have traveled to the U.S with it and lastly your last appearance at the U.S embassy must not have resulted in denial of visa (examples you may have a valid B1B2 visa and apply for student visa, if rejected, you're not qualified for Dropbox)

You must have travelled to the us with it ? I don’t think this part of the information is genuine.

I was expecting a communication from them, either a rejection or approval. No sure what to do now?

A few people I know did too on the 8th December and nothing yet. Don’t worry it’s just the crowd it should come in between the holidays or after.

She however overstayed during Covid year-2020 because there were no flights as all flights were cancelled, I stated that when I was filling her DS160.
Could that be the reason they said she doesn’t qualify for IW
Please could seniors advise?

They probably need her to show up to explain that overstay, so just schedule that appointment and let her go and explain to them why she did overstay which was covid and it was beyond her control and they’ll reissue her visa if they’re convinced by the dates. Changing rules from 24 to 48 months does not change the paper you have that clearly ticks that you should schedule an interview

Please see and talk to an Obgyn. I got pregnant 3 months after my cs 4 years ago and there were no complications. Use a good hospital and doctor and they'll monitor closely. I don't think you should be scared she will be alright. Although individuals differ, I remember during the next ca the doctors were talking about the scarring on the uterus.
Also, take note of everything that happens to you personally.

I’ve seen people do this too and I still can’t wrap my head around it. Just for people to come and eat and go they incurred debts.

My main purpose of going there is to buy cars myself, which will save me more money than online, so may be I should eradicates ‘inspect’ and we are talking about 8-10 cars. Going there to buy it myself will save my close to $10k than buying it online, which is enough to cover the 10-14 days trip. So is not to really inspect tho

Show up with this reason and most likely get a denial, two people have responded to you earlier but you don’t seem convinced. You may be the a rare approval of such , so maybe a feedback after your interview will be appreciated.

No she’s not, she has to show up for an interview. Refer to the IW guidelines for further information.

On my Express Entry application, I listed more work experiences than required I.e. more than the 3 years requirement. Now, I have been issued ITA, and I cannot get references from all work places. Can I proceed with my application like that? Can Offer letters suffice for the places where I cannot get references?

This happened to someone I know where her work refused to give reference letter. She submitted employment letter, pay stubs and everything(anything to substantiate your claim) that proves she indeed works there, including a mail trail where the HR refused the letter, luckily for her it was never an issue for ADR and she got her ppr .

Pls can anyone advise which hospital in the US allows pre-registration and payment in advance (prior to arrival in the US). All the ones I’ve contacted keep saying I can’t do it remotely. I’m asking because my company will be able to pay on my behalf at CBN rate and this will be more convenient for me. It will also make it easier to pass immigration. If I convert the money myself to travel with it, its value will be halved since it will be at parallel market rate. Thanks

Most hospitals I called won’t take wire transfers, some doctors will, I met a doctor who does not take wire also. You may have to first ask the doctors office for payment policy from the get go, make sure to use a doctor familiar with Nigerian patients they’re the ones who tend to take wire transfers for their services.

I’m 18weeks 5days gone (this is my first baby) and I have had a very terrible headache for the past one week on the side of my head, I also noticed that my bump is softer and it has reduced. My baby flutters is also not as sharp as it was last week, I am honestly very worried coupled with the fact that the midwives here in the UK are not very helpful, I managed to reach the emergency unit to be checked just to be sure but they asked me to drink water and take paracetamol. Has anyone here experienced this please? What did you do? Is this normal?

The Uk midwives can be very somehow I’ve encountered them, if you don’t go to the ER to say something like I’m spotting and act like you’re in severe pains they won’t refer you to do the ultrasound to check. It’s best to go private and have a scan done to put your mind at rest.

For the dipping off the passport, if I am outside Lagos, can I send it to the Isolo/Ikeja team by DHLor must I go physically? I have been calling their line to no avail. I need your advice on this. Zero balance letter stating you paid your bills in full and you’re not indebted to the facility(hospital), receipts from doctor, paediatrician, anaesthesia(if you use) and other services rendered to you in the process.

I don’t know if this applies to IW but my mom had her interview on the 18th of November and I filled her DS-160 form since February. I didn’t fill another, visa was approved and no questions as to how long she had filled her form was raised.

It may even be hormonal imbalance or anything else but it’s best to get checked in the hospital to ascertain what it is and keep the guesses aside.

Soooo, I successfully entered via Dallas PoE today. They didn’t ask but I willingly divulged that I was also going to have my baby. They took me to secondary inspection and the guy just asked for paperwork with the Dallas doctor and mode of payment. Showed him the paperwork and confirmed I’ll be paying with my credit card. He gave me back my passport and I was granted entry for 6 months. So glad!

I have a B1/B2 visa issued this June for a pre-employment training in Atlanta, the organization facilitated in schedulingthe interviewat the embassy. I later got a more stable offer in my current place of work same June and didn't travel again. I took in Mid-August.

While I understand the implications, I didn't want to re-apply due to difficulty getting an interview date. I have prove of the correspondence with the organization even when flights have been booked and I eventually communicated I wouldn't be coming again. Any advice?
