You mean you didn't read his own self confession in which he revealed that the British came to his aid and threatened the proponents of secession clause with treason charges and from then on the proponents had to capitulate?

Are you insinuating British, aid and Azikiwe are one entity? I guess from your level of intellect, the alleged threat of treason by the British to proponents of secession was ordered by Azikiwe. Most Nigerians cannot think.

The JF-17 Block 2, the second iteration of the fighter, was considered comparable in its capabilities to the F-16, although the more modern F-16C variants did enjoy some flight performance advantages which came at the expense of higher maintenance requirements and a lower sortie rate. The JF-17 did retain a number of other advantages however, including a higher operational altitude and far superior anti ship capabilities due to the types of munitions it had access to such as the C-802 cruise missile. Of approximately 65 F-16s in Pakistan service however, only 18 of Pakistan’s F-16s are of the more modern F-16C standard - with the remainder being of the older F-16A variant which lack the modern sensors, avionics and electronic warfare systems or the endurance of their successors. Thus the F-16C formed what was arguably the small elite of the Pakistani Air Force, exceeding the capabilities of the original F-16A in beyond visual range combat as well as, by a smaller margin, those of the JF-17 Block 2.

With the JF-17 Block 3 fighter unveiled in December 2019, and expected to enter service from around 2022, the aircraft will outperform all existing Pakistani fighters, the F-16C included, by a considerable margin. While the new aircraft has a new engine and makes more use of light composite materials for a superior flight performance, including the ability to exceed Mach 2 speeds, the platform’s most significant improvements are arguably those made to its beyond visual range capabilities.

There is much air drag on the JF-17 as shown on the video. The JF-17 cannot survive 3 minutes of dogfight against ace fighter pilot in F-16.

Good that we finally have an F class fighter jet enlisted into our military inventory.

With this F-16, we will gain more territory from the terrorists and bandits.

It's time for us to invest into research and harvest the technological talents that abound in our country.

Nigeria cannot be allowed to purchase F-16.

The structure of Nigeria, was different compared to the structure of Nigeria when other coups where coming into place, the system of Government Nigeria was practicing then, and the partiality in Execution of the various Government officials in a particular region of the Country, gave every body to right to term to be what it is.
How it placed Nigeria in a retrogressive society; Ahmed bello, never really supported the One Nigeria claim, in fact many people didn't, if we had left things like that, Nigeria would have separated successfully with No blood shed, Can it be argued, that it was not because of this very coup, that the event that was vividly against the igbos ,that happened after wards in the 60s happened?

The bolded is complete nonsense. The same disciples of Ahmadu Bello fought a war of attrition to keep Nigeria as a union. Why would Igbo collectively decide to stage a coup when things in Nigeria during the era in discussion were within their reach?

How silly can the bolded look? Of course you would not know because most Nigerians are basement hypocrites. They usually make noise on the subject matter that fans their tribal hatred for another. In addition, anything about Nigeria is half baked. The educational system in Nigeria is dilapidated and pupils tend learn what their tribal idiocy permits.

Ojukwu was in full support of Decree 34 because it took power away from the Regions and gave all Power to Ironsi who had Ojukwu's ear.

Major Hassan Katsina who was the Governor of the Northern Region could not even attend Prime Minister Balewa's funeral in Bauchi because Ironsi refused him permission

That wasn't possible before Ironsi's Decree 34

If this crap was given to you by your parents, such mode of education is pitiful. If the Decree #34 took power from the region and gave to Ironsi or placed power at the center, why did Ojukwu, a mere "regional governor" opposed Gowon at the center of power? Nigeria is not called basket of fools for nothing.

For the posterity sake, how many coups have been precipitated by the elements of Nigerians army after January 15, 1966? And how many of these coups have been baptized with one particular ethnicity in Nigeria? Only the moronic dingbats who tagged the coup with a particular ethnicity subjected Nigeria to retrogressive position, if any. I had to remind you if any subsequent coup was colored with a particular ethnicity and followed with the orgy of killing from another major ethnicity, the result would have been the same.

I have met many Igbos who have tried to deny Nzeougwus Nationality, but the fact still remains, that Nzeougwu, was an Igbo man from delta state by Origin, and the coup conducted was 90% Igbos and some gullible Yorubas and Hausa's who were fooled to believe in the true course, the coup was never meant to Make Nigeria better, or Install Awolowo has the president as many claim, but to make sure Igbos headed Nigeria, since it doesn't seem like it will happen since the North took over, coup that was meant to get rid of every body, killed Leaders, in the North, and the West, but miraculously spared all there leaders in the east, and Azikwe, who was on vacation in the Caribbeans, got tipped by God to extend his stay a little longer. Hahaha, Logically this can't be denied to not be something conspired by the Igbos to Lord the Igbos over the rest of Nigeria, but you guys still find a way to deny it. Ironsi came after made all the power concentrate at his feet, making all other regional head useless, they protested against it and warned him against his unGodly act, which was welcomed by Igbo brothers who believed they can Lord over every thing like Ojukwu, the then head of the eastern region, but he refused, and he Got what he rightly deserved.
You can call Awolowo a bigot all you want, he was in the interest of his people, wanted a constitution that could allow his people to get out of the contraption when it is time, but zik wouldn't let that happen he seriously just had to preside over the affairs of the country, can i blame him for his greediness, Igbos initially never wanted to hear anything like secession in Nigeria because they so much believed, though falsely, that they were the most educated tribe. (The first Nigerian tribe to produce a university graduate is the Binis). As an evidence of Igbo domination agenda hence their initial resistance to the idea of secession; here are some quotes:
"From all indications, the god of us Igbos have destined us to rule the whole of Africa"..... Nnamdi Azikiwe (1945).
"It is getting clearer each day that Igbo domination of Nigeria is just a question of time"... Oscar Onyeamma. (1949).

Zik having being voted for in the south West is very Understandable, since he had Yoruba Candidates in his Party, Yorubas don't love your zik, don't force it on them.
Many thread have been created, here about different tribes rejecting the biafran Identity, the latest ones are the Ikwere people, who have presently rejected the Igbo Identity that they believe was forced on them. But you still believe in your millions, when Niger deltans are even thinking about there own republic, what is with the forced attache.

The above post is a load of rubbish. Even some names are incorrect and the logic very lunatic. Since after January 15, 1966, there have been more than one coup in Nigeria precipitated by elements of Nigerian army. How many of these successive coups have been colored with a particular ethnicity in Nigeria? If the answer to the above question is none, anybody who harbors the idea January 15, 1966 coup was an Igbo coup is basement fool.

The Ndigbos are a resourceful people. The average Ndigbo by default is a professional business person but it hurts me to see a people who have enough resources in their land to make them the envy of the world but they put themselves at the mercy of the FG. You speak of breaking out of Nigeria like it is that one silver bullet that would erase all your woes but that is very far from the truth.

The Ndigbos currently lack cohesion and her elite are not united in the common cause of advancing the collective interests of the Igbo nation.

One example is clearly evident. Northern governors created civilian JTF, Hisbah and other para military outfits to secure their interests. Yoruba governors swung into action and created Amotekun. Till tomorrow Ndigbo governors are doing nothing about securing their land. It had to take the intervention of Nnamdi Kanu, a fugitive of the FG, to create a paramilitary organisation to safeguard the interests of the Ndigbos, why? Why are your governors so slow? Yet in a couple of months time you all will troop to the polls again to vote in another set of Ndigbo governors who are spineless, ambitionless and useless to the actualization of the sovereign state of Biafra. Why do you guys do that to yourselves, why?

The formation of the outfits in the above bolded statements are unconstitutional endeavors. If Ndigbo had initiated such illegal formation of militia, Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Yoruba and federal government of Nigeria would have been up-in-arms shouting Ndigbo have come again with their trouble. You would have been the first to shout that Ndigbo are preparing to secede again. Even the outfit orchestrated by Nnamdi Kanu has turned heads in awkward position already in Nigeria. I am not surprise you have the effrontery to call Nnamdi Kanu a fugitive. What crime did he commit other than agitating for self rule without hurting a housefly.

You can say whatever you want about Wole Soyinka but it does not deny the fact that Wole Soyinka has used his, in my opinion, less developmentally valuable, Nobel prize in literature, to advance the interests of the Yorubas. You can easily observe this in his works and activism. However there is a Philip Emegwali, a Nobel Prize winner in Super computing, a very powerful subject area necessary for industrial growth and social development. So now we ask, how has Philip contributed to the development of the computing industry in the East? Zero contribution. That guy is a mathematician, a computer scientist and one of the persons with the highest IQ on the planet. Yet his impact on the Ndigbos is zero. This shows why the Ndigbos are still slaves to the FG today, like every other region of the country. Just imagine the impact that could have been recorded if Philip Emegwali built a centre of excellence for computational sciences? That centre will be visited by powerful scientists all over the world. Just imagine that Philip creates a start-up for building super computers in the East using local/foreign
resources, like Innoson. Just imagine the impact that would be generated to the East.

As far as I am concerned if the East does not work on having more people like Innoson building value and wealth in the East...the East will always scrape the bottom of development like every other region!

Philip Emegwali was not given Nobel Prize. I suggest you stick with a subject you know little about. Chinua Achebe's novel become among the first five most read books in the world hence in the class with Bible. Chinua Achebe in his classical essay, An Image of Africa, destroyed Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness and melted the so-called apex social position of Europeans on earth in 1977. In order to slight Chinua Achebe, the committee of the silly Europeans who manage the Sweden based Nobel Prize decided to award Wole Soyinka the prize in 1986 on a subject he has no benchmark. Any fool knows Wole Soyinka is a playwright or mere dramatist but a novelist.

Since the acronym NDDC emerges - No Abia or Imo States person has occupied that position. Are they not parts of Niger Delta?

Abia and Imo produces 18mpd of crude (Each), yet WIKE/OKOWA etc has been bragging of Niger Delta without consulting these two states government for discussions. The same goes to IJAW - how many OIL WELLS are in ijaw land that others does not have? Look at what Pondei did last time at the NASS just for few questions. Those who sent them should call them to return immediately because - as soon as Akpabio leaves - the next MD to occupy that position should come from IMO and then ABIA before it will return to any other states in the South South. We are all parts of Niger Delta. Even the NDDC was not brought by IJAW man but late OKADIGBO - an Igboman from South East. Because ugly Obasanjo refused to sign the bill but Okadigbo took his money and position to fight for it and also got it. But Okadigbo is dead, just like Dora Akunyili died cos of Jonathan.

Chai - Igbo Amaka and will continue to Amaka for her love for his brothers and sisters, but those relatives of Igbo loves money than blood. Shameful

Please do not sell Imo and Abia States so cheap in crude oil production. Sometimes I wonder the composition of cells in the brains of certain Igbo dudes outside southeast. The class of personalities you mentioned in the above post tend to allow themselves to be marooned with the flick of south-south. The revisionists hardly talk about Niger Delta in such gathering because they know south-south does not equate Niger Delta. Akpabio is a clever chap who has shown that NDDC is and must be under his portfolio in ministry of Niger Delta. How would any reasonable follow insinuate NDDC should be overseen by anything but ministry of Niger Delta? Akpabio is trying to open the eyes of the dumbass revisionists in the so-called south-south that Niger Delta is not exclusively the domain of the so-called south-south geopolitical zone. Some other states outside the south-south zone also belong to Niger Delta, hence NDDC.

Did the constitution say it must be the deputy prime minister? I thought your brother Dedetwo already argued here that there was no deputy prime minister position?

And if there was deputy prime minister position and the law said he was next in line, why didn't Ironsi invoke that law to install him and back him up with his power as military GOC rather than take power for himself?

Please have you ever seen or read either 1960 Nigerian constitution or 1963 Nigerian constitution? Gen. Ironsi had no business in who becomes the Prime Minister. He did not have power to invoke any law to install anybody as Prime Minister. President Pro Tempore of Nigeria had requested the coalition partners to adhere to simple floor parliamentary rule or protocol where the Ranking Minister from the parties in coalition governemnt has to assume the duties in the absence of PM. However the NPC and its alliance insist to produce PM. In other hand NCNC and its alliance refused therefore the government finally collapsed. Since situation was not ordinary situation where a fresh election would have been called, ministers in failed coalition government decided to call the GOC of Nigeria army, which could have been anybody, Gen Ironsi to take the helms of Nigerian government.

Yeah! Blaming others for your woes as usual...yet Ndigbos have staggering levels of wealth in other regions but they have very little investments in their own region.

Wole Soyinka has a Nobel prize in literature but has been of immense support to the yoruba people but Philip Emegwali is of the Igbo extraction and is the only African Nobel prize winner in Super-computing, an area of immense relevance to industrialisation but what has been his effect on the development of the Ndigbos? Nothing that I know of.

Ndigbos are the cause of their underdevelopment. Look at the yorubas that have developed Amotekun to defend their interests but the Ndigbo governors have done nothing till date (until Nnamdi Kanu intervenes).

Ndigbos are responsible for their failures...the East has immense human and natural resources but zero coordination, lack of group interests and a maniacal craze for individualistic materialism.

The nonsensical Nobel Prize to Wole Soyinka was another colonial fraud to slight Chinua Achebe who blasted Joseph Conrad in 1977. Besides, Wole Soyinka is not novelist one wonders what prompted the Europeans to dash Nobel Prize on literature. Does anybody know Wole Soyinka as a writer outside Yoruba land?

Politics / Re: S-east Governors, Others Plotting To Incite Vigilante Groups Against ESN —IPOB by Dedetwo(m): 1:15pm On Dec 29, 2020
Hillard:

leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, alleged that there are plots by South East governors to engage its newly established Eastern Security Network, ESN, with their respective vigilante groups in a battle.

Kanu, who said that self-defence is legal in Nigeria, in a statement through IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, further alleged that the game plan is to orchestrate crisis between the vigilante groups and ESN to pave the way for Nigeria soldiers to attack ESN personnel.

He, therefore urged vigilante groups in the five South East states, who had been contacted or being recruited by the masterminds of the alleged plan to have a rethink.

Mazi Kanu’s statement read in part: “Through intelligence gathering, it has come to the knowledge of the IPOB that the governors of the old Eastern Region, are now recruiting traditional rulers, president-generals and politicians to mobilize some local vigilantes to engage Eastern Security Network, ESN in their various localities.

“The game plan is to orchestrate crisis between the vigilante groups and ESN to pave the way for Nigeria soldiers to attack ESN personnel. We therefore, wish to warn all local vigilantes in every state of Biafra who have been/may be contacted or are being recruited by the masterminds of this evil agenda through the traditional rulers and President Generals, PGs of any community or town in Biafraland to attack ESN operatives to have a rethink. Embarking on such unholy mission is suicidal!

“Anyone, vigilante group, community, traditional ruler or President General, political elite or anybody under any guise who will connive with the enemy to expose or attack ESN in their locality will live in eternal regret of such satanic mission. It’s not a threat but a promise!

“We want to make it clear that leaders of any community in Biafra land where any ESN personnel is attacked will pay dearly for such attack. In the same way, the Governor of any state where the security outfit is attacked shall also be held responsible. Any traditional ruler, PG and vigilante group who collaborates with the Nigeria military to attack ESN operatives should be prepared to bear the bitter consequences of their treachery.”

In another statement he signed personally, Kanu said: ”In Nigeria, self-defence is legal. Section 59 of Penal Code states: “Nothing is an offence of which is done in the lawful exercise of the right of private defence”. Section 32, Criminal Code states ‘It is not a crime to resist actual and unlawful violence‘.

Meanwhile, a group, the Movement Against Dissidents in Nigeria, yesterday, warned Nnamdi Kanu over his armed Eastern Security Network.
The convener of the group, Obinna Osita, who gave this warning in Owerri, said that the continued showcasing of ammunition by IPOB would end up producing dangerous militia group against the Igbo people.

“IPOB has some set of reckless, gullible, ignorant and untrained minds called members. We must caution here that if these untrained and bigoted minds are encouraged by Nnamdi Kanu, to carry assault riffles and other weapons and unleash them on Nigerians, we are doomed in this country with a new set of dangerous militia group in Eastern Nigeria.”

I would want the so-called and alleged vigilante groups purportedly setup by the goons called governors to play along and get all the money they could get from the basement fools and expose them for what they are, the enemies of Ndigbo and Biafrans.
