Christianity EtcRe: Noisy Places Of Worship by dee02(m): 8:01pm On Apr 01, 2008
Well it is disgraceful

We Nigerians just take religious practises to the extreme, it is now a battle of which religion is the loudest!

Any one noticed the way churches and Mosques are springing up all over, they starting to compete with Banks?!

Public nuisance and lack of respect for public serenity!

Lock up them bloodclatt, TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Good thing you confessed!
Nothing done in the past is hidden
You would have had a DIVORCE registered against your name if you kept quiet and that is even worse!
And guess what? God has probably just given you a sign that your ex-fiance was perhaps not the one for you because if he was maybe he would stay

To all of you ladies wearing engagement rings and raving my fiance this! my fiance that!!-Be careful, only God knows best!

RomanceRe: Would You End A Beautiful Relationship Over Religious Differences? by dee02(m): 3:36pm On Mar 28, 2008
common sense should prevail
why are some adults foolish?!
why go into a relationship without thinking of the differences in the first place and then only to start causing heartbreaks by ending it,
fu*king hell i have had enough of this shit, DONT GO INTO A RELATIONSHIP IF YOU CANT TOLERATE THE DIFFERENCES, even if it means waiting till thy kingdom come to find a RELATIONSHIP WITH A RELIGIOUS INDIFFERENCE!

I hate threads like this, we stick our hands in fire when we know it may hurt!! smiley
RomanceRe: Would You End A Beautiful Relationship Over Religious Differences? by dee02(m): 2:38pm On Mar 28, 2008
What is the point of going into a relationship when you know religion differences could be a problem in the first place?!

Everyone should be entitled to their opinion on this because it is very complex especially when true love is involved,

The problems with Nigerians is just lack of tolerance, rubbish archaic beliefs, family interference and stupid sentiments!

Same religion relationship doesnt gaurantee any smooth sailing believe me ya'all,

Bottom line is, if you love someone and it is mutual, then go all d way and work it out,

has anyone ever wondered why inter-religious relationships/marriages of Nigerians living abroad work better than the one's in Nigeria? SLEEP OVA IT

I PERSONALLY WONT END A RELATIONSHIP DUE TO RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES BECAUSE WHEN IT IS BEAUTIFUL IT MEANS WE AGREE ON ALL FRONTS!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I'm Totally Fed Up With Job Hunting by dee02(m): 11:43am On Mar 24, 2008
Getting invited to an interview means that the company/organisation thinks you have the potential--(not sure if nigerian companies just invite everyone to interview just to shoot up the numbers!

Research the company, know what type of interview you are attending and prepare like its your last chance!

If u get to the interview, you need to be yourself, if itz a technical interview, then know your stuff indepth, if it is a competency based interview, rehearse examples in the past of situation where u have been acting out a typical competency for example team work skills-u can write on your cv you have it, but if u havnt been in a team work situation prior to your interview then u may be stucked when asked to give an example of when u have been in team work,

Dress well, don't be too nervous, stay relaxed, sit upright, maintain eye contact with the interviewer and don't blag or rant your way through, pay attention to detail and smile-gauranteed the first impression employers get from you may swing a job your way,

The above are just some sort of advice, it is not a gauranteed winner in all countries especially in nigeria where the HR people are incompetent, jealous and arrogant, but most of all, you need prayers and luck to overcome this, i am sure you would pull through

RomanceRe: Marriage Proposal On Phone? by dee02(m): 4:07pm On Mar 19, 2008
whatever the mode of proposal be it through email, phone, message in a bottle sent across the river, through a town cryer, via text message or whatever, love and making the union after proposal work is what matters, i know people that have proposed in Pluto and Jupiter, in space, inside a packed football stadium and on top of Eiffel Tower----yet their marriage still crumble like a pack of cards!
BusinessRe: Hotel Or Private School: Which Business Is More Profitable? by dee02(m): 3:55pm On Mar 19, 2008
School business-you can start from your living room
Hotel business-you can start from your bedroom, just be prepared to accomodate guests on your bed, keep your toilet clean as well as your room and find your square root to give guests privacy, you may need to make them breakfast in the morning so you need to be back on time, with that your are multi-tasking and it would save costs!

grin

with the above ideas, you don't need a huge start up capital- get a signpost, advertise your business and before you know it, you would have enough money to stop working or doing business from home, then you can move out and get a better place! grin

you use what you have to get what you want! grin

TV/MoviesRe: Is The Ghanaian Movie Industry Making Any Improvement? by dee02(m): 5:10pm On Mar 14, 2008
@Ever-chris

everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, that is my verdict on both movie industries
i do not want to and i would never produce a nolly- or golly-rubbish, goodluck to the ones that produce or take part in nollywood!
i am an engineer and that is what i am focusing real hard on

u keep your opinion of the nollywood industry to yourself and nothing would change mine, i have not seen enough to say it is improving! END OFF!!!
TV/MoviesRe: Is The Ghanaian Movie Industry Making Any Improvement? by dee02(m): 3:07pm On Mar 13, 2008
some people baffle me on this forum, why fight or argue about this issue?!
why should we be bickering and moaning about two dysfunctional and quality-lacking movie industries? YES I SAID IT, GHANIAN AND NIGERIAN MOVIES ARE ABSOLUTELY self-service, storylines are copied, movies are repeated with the titles changed, actors and actresses lack professionalism (all claiming to study theatre arts!), no real suspense, no good ending, 100 stupid cam-corded movies released every week in both industries, inept editing, common sense never prevails and lastly, both movie industries are not breaking new grounds but instead want to be wannabees!

lets face it, both movie industries have a long way to go!

RomanceRe: Funny Marriage Proposal by dee02(m): 1:07pm On Mar 05, 2008
@poster

the guy is a bit daft, he should have been more complimentary and respectful.

the girl should be thanking her stars she got someone to propose to her

in this world where guys hardly want to marry, some girls/women even beg guys who ticks all for them, for marriage

let her wait for a better proposal then, since she wants someone who would whisk her away to Mt Kilimanjaro and propose before she develops butterflies in her tummy!!!

civilization has changed things a lot, i wish we were in the days of our forefathers! grin
