I suggest Ojota Park or Yaba Bus Stop as the venue for that 'public discussion'. This is the best way to do it. Okupe and Abati should stand beside the president at that 'discussion'. |
Not a bad idea. I think keshi should have one too.
You left out MBA for scoring the winning goal. They need at least 3 private jets! |
Michaeljones36: A private jet costs $40 million and up.You missed out several things. Fuelling, parking, A,B,C and D checks, taxes, pilots and crew. The fans club is probably waking up from a midday nightmare to have conjured that idea. |
Why not? After all, we have 'father Christmas' government there today! I really laugh at our country. We display so much insanity and we do it with dignified arrogance! Very silly idea indeed. |
kinguwem: Nobody is in doubt that the woman was pregnant. Obviously, she benefitted from artificial reproductive techniques & probably would have had a caesarean section. They can help other couples by directing them to such centres instead of claiming it was a miracle. Medical sciences has solutions to some reproductive problems. The problem is the awareness & high cost of the procedures.Dear 'be blessed' - Do you believe that God does miracles? You can ask him for one for yourself too. The Pastor here said, they waited for it and got it. |
There are so many doubters on NL. You may go to the church and investigate. I know this couple. The LORD gave them this wonderful surprise. There is no hidden thing about this. The woman conceived and contrary to what the doctors will say, she gave birth quite naturally. While she was in the hospital, armed robbers invaded the hospital and ransacked every room. The room where the wife was accommodated was the only room that was not opened by the robbers. That is another miracle. God blinded the robbers. I believe in God and I believe n miracles. Jesus Christ is alive today. |
Abati, please walk the talk - You guys at Aso Rock do not treat Nigerians like we belong to the same country. You spend millions eating every day. You insult our intelligence with your speeches. You even once called us dullards because we opposed your opinion. Above that, people say that you have a lot of money available to share, while we Nigerians have to sweat every day. Are we truly living in the same country? |
Nigerians take jobs with Indians and they accept 12,000 naira salary. When Nigerian companies offer them twenty five thousand they will say its too small and will reject the offer....strange! |
Do we still have a government in this country? They just wake up and do what comes to their minds perhaps. Can a nation be steered in this jigsaw rumble-tumble manner? I tire o. |
Alfamann: Divide this country now!Is the BH not sponsored by politicians? I have a feeling that Nigeria is not the problem but our wicked politicians are. I also have a strange feeling that the bombings will subside if GEJ drops his 2015 ambition. |
Why bomb the innocent? |
The president once said that the FG knows them. Who have they tried please? |
Afritop: DESPITE ALL THESE THE FEDERAL GOVT, WILL CONTINUE TO PROCLAIM ARROGANTLY THAT THEY ARE ON TOP OF THE SITUATION, AND THAT THEY ARE WINNING THE WAR ON TERRORISMOga is always at the top! |
FG must compensate. |
Oga at the top, your help is needed urgently. |
Okupe and his troops will soon react - here is their reaction (my guess): We note the cancellation of Bill Gates' visit to Nigeria. We however have a lot of foreign donors on the queue for visa to Nigeria, so we would not not be missing Bill Gates in any way. Nigerians, please be rest assured that the pardon granted Alams is the key to the transformation agenda of this regime. The country will soon see wonders in 2014! |
austinebode: What about the importation of refined crude oil?Total lack of vision and direction. |
Nothing new. |
Obafaiye will do a better job than oga at the top at the villa. He will bring laughter to many Nigerian homes on a daily basis. This man is not being ridiculed as claimed. Lagosians like him for his originality. |
Ali Must go! |

It simply amuses me how Abati and Okupe have turned into the business of insulting Nigerians every day. Do they really think they will get away with it? Do people forget so easily? The man Abati has damaged his brand for good if he does not realize that. Why follow-follow a zero reputation brand like Okupe? |
I never knew that money and position as special assistant can make a man so loose his senses! So disappointing. So nasty and silly. |
arcbabe: Can people just stop this my oga at the top nonsense?this is no longer a joke but it is a live threatening situation, the kids are been ridicled and it all this things we call little that leads to suicide or heart attach. There is no one that haven't made a mistake so people should stop this stupid joke. If the man is sacked today will it make all those people condeming him better? Pls let respect ourselves and stop making jokes that will affect people negatively...Cool man. Its all humour. Its not meant to ridicule anybody. |
Why should Oga at the top suspend this loyal employee? Keyamo, Falana, please come to his rescue...This man has brought laughter to many homes in the last few days. he deserves a MON award. |
I have a feeling that 90% of Customs staff do not know the web address of Nigeria Customs and possibly 99.5% of Police staff do not know the web address of Nigeria Police Force (do they have one?). Government employees in Nigeria are not challenged to excellence because most of what matters to them is egunje! |
For starters... RIP to those students... Secondly, MOB action again!? For an accident!? Na wah o! Even when the police was deployed to the place, they kept on vandalising things. This is very heart breaking. It's obvious from the reporting that it was an accident. How do you riot over an accident!? This country matter tire me. And it's not unique to these students. My friend just gave a similar account of an accident in Benin where a pregnant woman was killed and said the mob were about to set his car ablaze and they would have if some securi men in the area who saw and recognised him hadnt come out guns blazing to disperse the mob. This attitude has got to stop. This is the result of a failed judiciary system. It is almost as if people no longer believe in the law hence they are now the law unto themselves. That is why hit and runs prevail in Nigeria. In the early 2000s, my friend was involved in a hit & run case when he killed a man by 5:45am in the morning on his way back from work. Immediately the accident occurred, he stopped and came down to check on the man, only to see a couple of guys with machetes running towards him. He quickly jumped back into his car and raced off with stones flying behind him. Immediately he went to the police station and reported the matter. The Nigerian Police handcuffed him and charged him with murder and hit-and-run despite informing them of his reason for running and coming straight to them. In the end, the Nigerian police connieved with the family to extort money from him. P.S: The man who died was a drunkard that the autopsy report revealed that he was soaked with alcohol as at the time of death. My take is for this mob action for accident cases to stop. That was one of the reason for which motorists were overjoyed in Rivers State when Okadas were banned, because they had the habit of mobbing and burning the cars of whoever was involved in a road accident with one of them.
You make sense. It is a sad thing that happened but why would the students go violent over an accident? The lecturer himself might need treatment/counselling and not punishment, unless he is proven to be negligent. I have seen an incident on the express one day when one of those US import jeeps lost control. Thank God it was on the express and the driver tried so hard to enter the ditch and managed not to hit anyone. Be careful when buying 'accidented cars'. They may look 'neat' but may be carrying serious internal damage. |
The students need not to go violent over what is said to be an accident, particularly as it seems (until proven otherwise) that the lecturer never intended to kill. My guess is - The Nissan Pathfinder could be one of those accidented cars from the US, which has gone through panel beating to make it look new. I wonder why Nigeria should be dumping ground for badly accidented cars some of them with 'frame damage'. The lecturer may not have known that he bought an 'accident waiting to happen'. Be careful when you buy those cars. Check the history well. |
jaymdee: Chai!!! Naija na wa o. You guys will kill this man o.No, we want him as the next governor of Lagos State. |
Charge and bail lawyers have been overtaken by 'register and regret' lawyers. Any lawyer out there? For 5,000 naira please come and help to register APC of Nigeria Party, so INEC can announce my arrival to the whole world and Jega can hold a press conference on the registration of my great party! |
The oga at the top just pardoned his former oga at the top so that in 2015 he can retain his position as oga at the top and use the opportunity to silence all tge other people aimimg to become oga at the top. In short, Naija is a place for all kinds of oga at the top seeking second, third and fourth terms. |
Jona may have stepped on banana peels. Okupe and co are waiting to help him pack his luggage, before jumping on the next train. 'Any government in power' boys will finish this regime. |
Someone may be trying to fix this cup for Real Madrid. Easy way to the top! |
