And herdsmen are killing the people! What is the boss going to do about it? |
Noise. Empty threats. |
ladykolly:This makes sense. I wonder how people can quickly conclude that she ran away. The country is deemed so unsafe now and people may even get kidnapped inside their houses! OBJ was right. Even Soyinka asked the government to listen to what OBJ said. It looks like the fight is going beyond what our government can handle alone. How many streets can they police? How many forests can they clear? Even those that were sent out to check the Revolution Now protest have started harassing innocent passers-by. |
They promised to hit the ground running after they secured re-election. Right now they are not even crawling. A snail will be too happy to be placed on a race next to our government. |
How did this country become so uninspiring? There is no new initiative in government. There is no rigorous economic drive. There is no news about research findings. We are not hearing of feats in medicine. Even the leaders are holed up inside some rock and hardly have anything to say these days. Looks like we have a total absence of vision as a people and this visionlessness is championed by elected leaders. Most of what you hear is baby Mama number 4! And how wayward youths are exposing themselves on shameless reality shows. And kidnappings and killings. And that children are raped in IDP camps. Once in a while they go round sharing N10,000.00 meanwhile SMEs are shutting down here and there for harrassment on one side and recession on the other. Let us pray that our leaders wake up from this terrible slumber or coma. Or should we go to Rwanda or Ghana to learn how to lead? Shameless giant! |
Right under the nose of National Assembly and Presidency!!!!! Nigeria needs correct change and definitely APC and PDP cannot possibly deliver it. Since it seems that they are the main promoters of evil in this country. Shame. |
Na fake... |
Fake news everywhere. Pastor Adeboye never said 5 pastors were kidnapped. He did not use the word 'pastors'. It was coined by lying journalists. He went on to say, only one person among the 5 kidnapped belong to RCCG and that 4 others are not even members of RCCG. Look at how many people have commented on something that was fake in the first place. Trump should be acknowledged for coining this term 'fake news'. It seems more than half of what of what is published in the media is FAKE. Beware of fake news. |
Not surprised that nobody is reading. Lagos practices militarized democracy. Who is the speaker to say anything against any one nominated by their gang leader? LOS house is solidly in the pocket of their main sponsor. |
Committee without commitment. Who did we offend? Did Boris Johnson form any committee? 2 weeks after, the British PM has met a number of PMs and has travelled for urgent and important meetings. Our own people are still chopping life inside the rock! Who did we offend? After the jamboree and mediocre screening, another committee again? |
Has she ever told anyone that she is Nigerian? I recollect that a presidential assistant once congratulated some 'Nigerians' appointed by the British Government only for the appointed people to come back to say, sorry we are not 'Nigerians'! We are busy here destroying our BEST with the way we play our acute NEPOTISM and then we are quick to shout holla to those who excel after escaping from here! Uhnnn |
Hunger is a native of where? |
Did she say she is a Nigerian? So, if your name is Simon Wilson you are automatically a Briton? |
Absolute scrap. What a header? There is no iota of anxiety anywhere. The body language of the centre shows immense lack of seriousness from the list sent to Senate. Expectation is low right now. Just take killer herdsmen away from SW and that will suffice. |
When will Nigeria Police stop using live bullets against protesters? Can anyone in the FG tell us? |
The answer to all these problems is around the corner. Nigeria will rise again. |
Why did the SP block that aspect? It is a shame for a person to hold the office of a minister and not be able to recite the stanzas of the anthem. The whole screening is just mere drama and comedy. |
Let us pray that it is not true. Leah will define the soul of this country. Nigeria (the soul of the country) expires if anything harmful happens to Leah. Look at the charade in Abuja today - All of them sharing 'juicy' posts to themselves. These guys are not human anymore and therefore cannot be humane. Let us face it. We no longer seem to have a nation. No unity. Comatose economy. Breeding ground of terror. Herdsmen are now kings. How did we get here? Don't call this place a zoo. There is better harmony and kindness among animals. It is looking even worse than a zoo. |
festacman:Blood remains thicker than water! |
PMB, with due respect the country you are running is not working! Nobody wants to leave his family and friends and go on to start in a new country. Americans are proud of their country and of their leaders because the country and its leaders defend the people. Same for those other countries that people are going to. The opposite is the case for Nigeria. Even the richest man in the country has said several times that he was unhappy about how government makes the country unbearable for those who choose to live and invest here. Your office needs to find ways to make Nigerians proud of Nigeria. We cant see that happening now. I have voted for you in elections, but the truth is, if given the chance I will never do so again. The land stinks. The whole place has become so insecure, even to the extent that people cannot visit their loved ones in villages. Parents in villages are saying to their children - stay where you are, don't come! Millions of Nigerians do trading, but go check what is happening now and the ports of entry - Corruption is being re-defined in broad daylight. Incompetent people are being rewarded with important and strategic offices. This statement, if its true came from the president, is really below the belt. It is rubbing salt upon injury. It falls in the same category of that same speech that 'our youths are lazy'! Sir, most of those leaving do not want to, but they feel the country has failed them and have chosen to seek citizenship elsewhere, so that their children are no made to go through the same things. Sir, we need your team to inspire hope, give assurances and mobilise the instruments of government to work for the common good of all Nigerians. There is hope for Nigeria - Our leaders should champion that message, otherwise the despair faced by several millions of Nigerians may just continue unabated. |
There is a pattern. Seems there is no difference again between football age and political age. Let them continue.... |
Blockers in government everywhere and at all levels. Instead of looking for a way to correct their wrongs they are busy making untenable and idiotic accusations. |
Why all these killings? |
He said nothing. Meaning that he means nothing! |
oyel business |
You do business inNigeria, Nigerian government at federal, state and local government harass you in addition to harrassments by thugs, you run to Ghana and the harrasments continue. I had a business in Oyo state and had to close it for one reason, unreasonable requests and levies. Now, I am one leg into closing down something in Lagos for the same reason. Our people dont think at all. That is why Fulanis are taking advantage. Can LIRS, FIRS or LG, LASTMA, LASTRIT, LASTRAA, FRSC, etc come near a Fulani herdsman? Yet, he is moving around with inventory of over 50 million or even 100 million! Do you blame Ghana? |
Why use live bullets to quench riots? Just a question. |
The mistake they are all making is that Tinubu cannot win 50% of SW votes in a presidential election! |
Magnifico2000:At some point I thought that Algeria had 12 players on the field! Very clear penalty was over-ruled. |
TIGRITIS:We can argue then that each state should have the same number of LGAs! Why should Kano have 44 in the first place? Is Kano more populated than Lagos or Ibadan? And what is the use of the Senate in the first place? Why dont we just have one house of reps? |
Oil contributes 90% plus to forex earnings, so may be Rivers and other oil producing states should have 30 senators each! I am not from south south, I am only trying to follow the logic of our elected leader! |
Madam, seek help if you are reading this. It is not as bad as you think. Some wives think that their husbands are angels. There is hope if you turn it over to Jesus. As a man, He lived without sin. As a risen Saviour, He is able to transform situations if you run to Him. Listen to what He has to say to you: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 If you look to men you will get abuses and become more frustrated. If you turn to Him, you will be saved. |
