It is fake and deceptive to claim that religion was invented for the poor or for blacks. The richest countries in Europe and the Americas have a large Bible-believing population, in spite of what social media wants people to think. There are also many people who worship other things, but find it convenient to attack the Bible and Bible believers, just as a way to cover their dark deeds. Read John 3:19-21 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” No one should be deceived. Sin is at the root of all the problems. Jesus is the answer, if you want to deal with the problem from the root. Embrace the light of Christ today. |

ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY COMMITTEES? COMMITTEE WITHOUT COMMITMENT IS A SURE PATH TO FAILURE. IN OTHER WORDS, THE SHARING BEGINS IN SEPTEMBER! |
Fulanis are living peacefully everywhere like every other Nigerian tribe. However, the Bishop needs to address the real issues. Why is government suddenly behaving like they are only there to protect Fulanis? Why do they treat Fulani immigrants who are not even Nigerians with kid gloves? Why does it look like government looks away when Fulani militants kill and maim? Nigerians do not hate Fulanis but cannot stand killings by militants and terrorists who are trooping into the country determined to kill and take lands? Is Father Kukah not aware that some of the militant herdsmen are forcefully taking lands? If the government or governments tacitly support that expansionist tendency, what should the people do? Just keep quite and watch? They are only asking their leaders to act. It is not hate. |
Who did this? What was their intention? Kidnap? Banditry? Random herdsmen action? Rustling? Conspiracy? Well, I am not a super fan of OBJ but I think instead of fighting the man and condemning his latest letter, people concerned with security should go out to fight the criminals. |
There is division already. The President and his team can unite the country by taking the lead to deal with killer herdsmen and by burying the RUGA idea. |
Clownish |
meolaniyi:People wrongly think that Yorubas will support a Tinubu coming back to power. Yorubas are not that gullible. Anyway, I still wonder why the likes of Tinubu who started the big clamour for conveying a national conference a few years ago suddenly totally dropped the idea when they seized power. The people should look for alternatives to PDP and APC now and not when it is one year to election. These two parties are wickedly bad for Nigeria. |
Believe these our spokesperson to your own shame. There is something in that Aso place that makes them all loose their sense of normalcy once they start chopping national cake. |
Herdsmen are desecrating the country people are here talking about AFCON! |
sexyking1:Dont mind the fellow. he must be from Mali or somewhere. His views are far from what SW stands for. |

onenaija001:Because they have a school uniform. It is not a religious place of worship but a SCHOOL. |
Does hijab stop people from committing sins and crimes? This middle eastern culture has not helped anything and they know. Ladies cover themselves head to toe but that never stops them from opening what they should not open when they travel to other places...+ Go to Iran and other places and see how many young girls have been placed in jail for serious flirting under hijab! ISI must insist on conventional uniforms. You dont like UI or ISI then find your way to a hijab school. |
Smoke2015:How can they meet someone's absence? |
They will surely gather....but they will fall for our sake! |
FFK spoke my mind. Why is Atiku silent on RIGA? |
Menance:He was not speaking to the press, and neither was he speaking to Nigerians. He clearly said he wanted to warn HIS OWN PEOPLE! Why someone posted it here should be that someone's problem. If it was possible for him to speak this without using the microphone he probably would have done that. But how do you speak in hush-tones to millions spread around the world? Other GO's are different. They can chose differently, but anyone leader has a right to warn his own people! And he never mentioned any name. He quoted scriptures and gave warnings. Please read the text again. |
Flyingngel:The problem on hand is a complex one and southerners need to understand this. First, let us not lump all of them together. There is the harmless Fulani that is nomadic and that is completely displaced, meaning they do not have a place anywhere they can call their own. There has to be consideration for them because they are also Nigerians. As long as southerners criminalise this group the problem will persist. Somehow, this group is often totally neglected even when they are talking about solutions for them. There is the elite Fulani. They own cows and would love to have grazing areas and not ranches because it means low cost labour and feeding for them. They are the ones talking all the time and they pretend to look after the interests of Fulanis but somehow maybe they are after their own economic interests. There are the terror herdsmen Fulanis. It looks like these ones are mostly driven by unknown persons. They dont even rear cows but they go about destroying villages. Government has to find an answer. Some of these carry cows around but their interest is not in rearing but in destruction. These are the killers, but unfortunately, we now commonize and label all fulanis in this category. You also have immigrant Fulanis (some of them may not be into terror) who are migrating southward because of climate change and because their countries in Northern Africa no longer have water or grazing fields. Their lakes are dried and they are forced to move southward into Nigeria for survival. These ones start with survival interests but soon join the terror gangs because some people may be behind this terror drive and are providing funds to them that they cannot get from rearing cows. First step is to distinguish between all these. I guess that most of us southerners just lump them together and this wont move us forward. There are Fulanis everywhere. They have lived in Ogun state and other states for ages and they have mixed with the people. If they lump the quiet and peace-loving ones with others, the problem might get more complicated. Government does not need to set up RUGA because there is ruga already. Government should be involved in flushing out criminal elements and fostering peace between those who are peaceful within the communities they already live in. There is no need to invest anything to support nomads because they are nomads! Fulanis are more culturally adapted to Northern Nigeria. What this means is that if technology is developed to improve on the grazing (like they do in the middle east), the correct nomads may be restricted mostly to the north. In the real sense, the Middle Belt still has a nagging problem. Reason is, Fulanis dont want to accept that they dont have any place in Benue and Plateau. This problem has been there for ages but I think politicians who are not selfish can work on how to resolve this a bit. |
What has the PDP candidate said about RUGA? I bet he wont say anything! The south is so naive to always pull behind Fulani candidates. |
Multiple fire fighting equipment (with water) and in working condition. More than 100 Ambulances. I wonder if we have up to 100 working ambulances in Lagos! F16 - Fighter jet to escort. Professional air force experts to assess damage and to advise on what to do. --- Corruption will not let us develop Nigeria. Stop praising politicians (APC or PDP) They have criminally looted Nigeria to stupor. We need national repentance from corruption. The Governor who raped the finances of his state should be made to step down. The Senator, the Rep, The LG chairman should follow suit. Enough is enough. |

Politician. What is the meaning of 'no land for outsiders'? Who is an 'outsider'? Please be specific. |
When you have too much money and you are not careful your dresses start to look funny! When you dont have much but have sense you tend to look royal. |

3 years 11 months you mean to say sir? |
She is trivializing a serious matter. She is not making any sense at all. I pray she does not get into the situation that makes people want to end their lives. If depressed - call a friend you can speak to and who you respect. Pour out your hearts, especially to God. Cast your cares on God because He cares. Your tomorrow will be alright in Jesus name. Amen |
What country's passport does she hold or has she held all these years? Has she ever travelled? Tough case! Immigration lawyers may truly not be able to handle. |
Dead party. |
If they do the audit of our rulers, I wonder how many of them have genuine credentials! Fakes everywhere. |
Senseless talk! |
Query for not attending a ceremonial event? Strange. Very strange? Is OBJ an employee of the FG? What about the query to others who did not show up? This sound very much like fake news. |
